Luna's P.O.V
I was in the Hangar with Finn, Junko, and Aerrow as we started working on putting together my skimmer, it was still under maintenance but it's coming together.
Aerrow: Okay, that should do it. Test it out, Luna
Luna: Got it
I turned on the engine as I turn it to see if the wheels are working, so far we were on a roll.
Luna: Whoohoo!! Listen to that engine roar!!!
Junko: Just a few adjustments and we'll have the wings ready
Luna: It's too bad, who were we suppose to meet today?
Aerrow: I don't know, Piper is the only one who knows
Piper: Alright, I'm ready!
Aerrow: Okay, Luna we're gonna have to wait on the wings next time
Luna: Got it
Everyone hopped on to their rides as I hopped onto Mags's skimmer while Stork was with Finn, we drove off and went to Terra Xoam where we would be meeting some explorer Piper can't stop talking about.
Piper: When we meet him, let me do the talking. I. J. Domiwick is a legend. So please, don't do anything embarrassing and [look at Luna] No glittering explosives
Luna: Hey, I didn't had it, Finn did
Finn: How was I suppose to know what it was, you don't label them
Luna: That's because you snatched from the piles inside the box "labeled" glitter bombs
Piper: [glares] Finn
Finn: Eh heh, whoops
Aerrow: What's so great about this guy, anyway?
Luna: Yeah, I never heard of him
Piper: He's only the most famous explorer in all of Atmos. He's smart, he's brave...
Luna:... Yeah I got nothing
Once we arrived at our destination, we spotted a blonde man wearing an outfit similar to a movie character from some adventurous movie. Piper was so overjoyed that she went to get his autograph on the book about him while I stood next to Stork and crossed my arms.
Piper: You're adventurous, you're scientific
Domiwick: Don't forget handsome, charming, and successful
Luna: I see the appearance but where's the charming and successful part
Mags: Heh, right
Just then, Domiwick spotted me and walked up as I went stiffed when he picked up my hand and kissed it.
Domiwick: And who's this beautiful girl?
Piper: That's Luna
Domiwick: Luna, I've heard about you... Shouldn't you be wearing something pretty
My face went red as I stomped his foot hard, making him yelp as he held his foot while I walked away towards Finn.
Luna: Hmph! Men
[Aerrow and Mags chuckle]
Piper: Luna!! I'm sorry, she's not really into being a "Lady in Waiting" thing
Luna: YOU BETTER GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD!!!
Piper: Eh heh. I've ready all your books. I even wrote you a fan letter once. But I'm just babbling now
Domiwick: Not at all, get this all the time. I'm sure your "friend" is just being feisty
I glared at Domiwick as I growled at him, until Finn patted my head to calm me down. We followed Domiwick as he lead us to a tent, since he had something to show us.
Domiwick: You've come at an exciting time. I'm about to lead the first expedition to explore the mysteries of the Forbidden City
Piper: You actually found a way in?
Mags: That's just not possible
Piper: If you need anything at all, the Storm Hawks are at your service
Domiwick: Very thoughtful, but not necessary [pull the curtains] as you can see, I already have all the help I need
Luna: [eyes widen] [gasp] You've got to be kidding me!!
Piper: Cyclonians?
We couldn't believe our own eyes, Domiwick got help from the Cyclonians, that can only mean that either the Dark Ace, Ravess, or Master Cyclonis is here, unfortunately it was Ravess's dimwit brother, Snipe.
Luna: Out of all the Cyclonian, it had to be the dumbest one
Piper: You... You're working for the Cyclonians?
Domiwick: No... They're working for me. Good help is hard to find
Luna: Wow... This is who you admire, Piper
[Bonk]
Luna: Ow~!!
Mags: Now's not the time to-
Snipe: STORM HAWKS?!
Luna: Uh oh
Snipe: They got the girl!! Get 'em!!
Mags: Time to go!!
Aerrow: Run!!
Mags grabbed my hand as we ran out of the tent and to our rides, I quickly hopped on Mags and Stork got on Finn's skimmer as we drove off as quickly as possible to get away from Snipe. When we got away, we tried to figure out what Snipe was doing here and what they intend to find in the Forbidden City while Piper mopes over the fact her idol is a bad person.
Aerrow: Domiwick is a pompous jerk, don't let him get to you
Luna: A big one!!
Mags: Luna
Luna: What?! You know it's true!!
Piper: He's after the Oracle Crystal
Luna: Oracle Crystal? [sit next to Piper] What's that?
Piper: It has the power to see the future
Finn: The future, huh? I know what I'd ask...
Mags: [smirk] Is it to see if you'll have a future with Luna, cause I don't see it happening
Finn: [blushes] You don't know that
Mags: I don't think, I know
Junko: Ooo, me too. I think
Piper: [throws the book] We have to beat them into the Forbidden City and find it before Domiwick does!
Stork: Wait wait wait! Did you say into the Forbidden City? The death traps in that place are legendary. Jagged spikes, walls that crush... I could learn so much
Finn: I bet it's loaded with treasure
Aerrow: How do we get in?
Stork: Oh! I have just the thing. Give me a minute, come my right-hand woman. I will need your assistance
Luna:... Okay, is it the prototype you've been working on?
Stork: [smirk] Oh yes. The "Project"
Luna: [gasp] Not The Project!!
Mags: What? What is it
Luna: I have been sworn to never give any details of it, you will all soon see it
Stork and I rushed to the Condor as he got to work putting it together, I handed him what he needs to ensure everything is working perfectly. When he was finished, he hopped on while I was about to step out when he pulled me into his mobile and drove it. I was sitting at the front while he was driving it out, I was blushing cause I was close to his lap but cooled down until we reached to the ground.
Stork: Ta-Da!! I give you, the Stork-Mobile. Booby-trapped detectors, indestructible tires, roll bars, parachutes, anti-lock brakes, fifty-two independent external air bags...
Luna: And~
Stork: And an ejector seat
Junko: Why do you need an ejector seat?
Luna/Stork: You always need an ejector seat
Luna: [gets off] So~ Stork get a new vehicle and I still don't have mine?
Everyone looked at Aerrow, while Mags tapped his finger on his Skimmer demanding an explanation from Aerrow.
Aerrow: Ehhh. You can't rush building one
Luna: He literally built his today in one minute
Mags: Aerrow
Aerrow: Don't worry, you'll go with Finn
Finn: Saweet!
Luna: Works for me [hops on Finn's skimmer]
Stork: [put his helmet on] Let's ride
Stork stepped on the petal, when he went super fast and started screaming. I felt pretty bad for him but at the same time he did just floored it.
Finn: I don't think he meant to do that
Luna: We gotta go after him
Aerrow: Storm Hawks, let's ride!!
We drove after Stork, only to find him crashed into a bush with the airbags already used and parachute too.
Stork: Um... I think I found something
We all got off and spotted what Stork was looking at, it was a statue of a woman pointing towards somewhere ahead.
Piper: Be careful. According to that traitor Domiwick's book, the builders of the Forbidden City believed in tricks and hoaxes. First impressions are always wrong and nothing is what it seems
Mags: Hmm... I don't know
Aerrow: It looks like she's pointing the way
Mags: Or maybe, it's what Piper is talking about. "nothing is what it seems"
Luna: But where else is she pointing?
Just then, Radarr went up to the statue's left arm, as it turns down like a lever and the statue moved and pointed at a rocky wall, making the ground shake as a hidden path opened.
Luna: Whoa~
Piper: You see? Not everything is what it seems. Good job, Radarr
Mags: Let's ride
We all hopped onto our skimmers and drove ahead, until we saw the light as it shines through and down to what looks like the temple.
Aerrow: Wow
Finn: Hey Stork, how bout we try those booby trap protectors of yours
Stork activated them only to cause a loud noise of the alarm going off, as we covered our ears from the blaring alarms when suddenly the way we enter was closed off.
Stork: Oh yeah, I was expecting that
Once Stork was able to shut off the alarm, we looked up to see that the small and big rocks started to form into a ginormous rock like creature as it comes walking towards us.
Stork: But I wasn't expecting that
We all got our weapons out, while I got my explosive bombs ready, until Finn shot one of them. Only for the rock like creature to form back up again, Aerrow and Mags tried shooting at it but only ended up resulting the same way.
Stork: One of these is supposed to be the missile launcher
Finn: There's no way to fight these things!
Mags: Aerrow!! What do we do?!
Aerrow: If nothing in here is what it seems, maybe we shouldn't!
Piper: Aerrow, that's not what I meant!
Aerrow: Don't fight back
Mags: What?! You crazy?!
Aerrow: Trust me, Mags. Let them come to you
Mags:... Ugh fine
We all put down our weapons, while I was feeling a bit nervous that I wrapped my arms around Finn's waist. I felt his hand over my own as he comfort me, once the rock like creatures approached us they stood still for a second until falling down piece by piece.
Aerrow: It worked!
Mags: [sigh] Thank goodness
Luna: Yeah, I thought we were goners. Thanks Finn
Finn: Anything for my girl [pointing both fingers like pistols] Chika-cha
Luna: [giggles] Oh Finn
We drove ahead and to the ramp so we could reach to our destination, only to see so many building looking exactly the same.
Piper: They would've kept the Oracle Crystal in the temple
Mags: Yeah, but which one is it? They all look the same
Aerrow: Mags's right. All the buildings look alike. Which on: the temple?
Luna: Hey guys!!
Finn: Check it out
We all got off our skimmers and walked up to the miniature life size building of all the towers.
Piper: It's a map!
Junko: This is confusing. They should've put a "You are here" on this thing
Just then, Radarr decided to pretend to be Godzilla while I giggled at our silly Radarr was being.
Aerrow: Radarr, quit fooling around. You might break-
Just then, Radarr leaned onto a tower as it moved down, activating a trap that caused us to fall, when I quickly used my gravity manipulation to give everyone a soft landing, once we were close to the ground I deactivated it as we landed on the ground. I landed on my two feet when I noticed Aerrow ontop of Mags, making me rummage through my satchel for a camera until Mags smacked him.
Aerrow: Something?
[Smack]
Aerrow: Ow ow ow~!
Mags: Get off me get off me get off me!!!
Aerrow: Okay [stands up] Sheesh, we've done this many times and you always smack, punch, or bonk me
Mags: [blush] I-I-I have my reasons
Luna: [whispers] It's a sign from the heavens telling them they're destined to be
[Bonk]
Luna: Ow~
Mags: Hush
Junko: At least, Luna gave us a soft landing. And I landed on something squishy
Finn: That would be me...
While Junko helped Finn up, I walked up to Stork and helped him up while dusting off the dirty on his clothes.
Stork: Hmmm, uh huh, interesting... So uh, if we're going to survive this most-likely fatal ordeal you're going to have to do exactly what I say... Radarr? You go first
Poor Radarr, he was grumbling as he walked ahead, until Stork instructed him to "Stay low" making Radarr crawl until he stepped onto a lever that brought out another trap that was going to crush him.
Piper/Mags/Aerrow: RADARR!!!
I got my whip and caught Radarr torso and pulled him out of the way, when he opened his eyes he leaped into my arms and shivered while I patted his back when we saw a trap has been activated.
Piper: That would've hurt
Aerrow: Stork? Can you disarm the trap?
Stork: Na uh. All my tools are in the Stork-mobile
Mags: Hmmm. Luna, do you think your gravity powers will help us?
Luna: it could work
Aerrow: Good, now all we have to do is walk on the ceiling
I got to work and tapped the Storm Hawks shoulders as we started to float to the ceiling, we got on our feet's and walked to the end while avoiding the trap.
Finn: Saweet, we made it!
Luna: Alright, on the count of three everyone gets ready to land on the ground with our feet. One.... Two... Three!
I deactivated it, as we fall and landed on our feet, however I ended up landing into Finn's arms. I got off and walked up to Stork as he examined the surroundings to see if there was another trap.
Stork: This rail. It can only mean there's an enormous boulder up there triggered to roll after us
Just then, the ground started to rumble as we look ahead ready to see this enormous boulder, only to be disappointed that it was a small boulder that was almost the same size as Radarr.
Stork: Pfft. That's the best they could come up with
Luna: Huh, some boulder they sent to us
Stork and I were about to regret our words when the small boulder activated something as the ground rumbled again.
Piper: A second boulder?
Aerrow: Run!! [grab Mags hand]
We all started running for our lives while screaming in terror, just then we spotted up ahead that there was no way out. Only a dead end, we all panicked until Aerrow told Junko to break through the wall while we jumped ahead through the only, except Finn hit the top part of the hole hitting his forehead as we slid down and screamed. Only to reached to the end and fall as I fell ontop of Finn, I sat up straddling on his lap when he sat up and our faces were this close by an inch making me blush.
Mags: You two gonna kiss or what?
Luna: [blushes] W-We weren't gonna kiss!!
Finn: [grin] Maybe
[Punch]
Finn: Ow~
Luna: Not the perfect time, where are we?
Finn: Look!
We looked ahead, only to see that we made it back where we started.
Piper: Nothing in the Forbidden City is what it appears
Just the miniature version of the Forbidden City started moving the buildings along with the building we are seeing now as it creates the temple.
Aerrow: The temple
Mags: Of course, we all thought the tower building had to be one of the temples, so we needed to activate it and go through the traps in order to activate and reveal the real Temple
Aerrow: No wonder we couldn't see it before
Piper: The Oracle Crystal will be in the Treasure chamber
Finn: Treasure chamber. That's what I'm talking about. Oh ho! We're in for some money!
[Ground rumbling]
Aerrow: We're solid in for some competition, Luna did you remember to leave them the "present"?
Luna: [grin] I'm sure they'll happy to try out my latest concoction of my upgraded horrifying smell
Just then, the walls crumbled as a ginormous drill went through as Snipe and Domiwick arrived with a couple of Cyclonian talons, making us ready to reach to the temple before they do as we drove ahead to the temple. While we drove ahead, I heard few explosives from behind as I laughed.
Luna: IT WORKED!!! Ahahahahaha
Aerrow: Okay we get it Luna, you're happy and you can't stop with the cackle laugh
Luna: Ahahahahahaaaaa~
[Bonk]
Luna: Ow
Mags: Enough, we don't want you going evil on us
Luna: Yeah you're right
Just as we were about to reach, up ahead was two paths that we needed to take.
Piper: It says only the swift and strong will survive the temple maze
Finn: A maze? We don't have time for a maze. The cyclonians are right behind us
Junko: Aerrow, take Piper, Mags, and go. We'll stay behind and buy you some time
Finn: Take my treasure bag
Luna: Finn!
Finn: What? Anything shiny, grab it!
Mags: Unbelievable
Aerrow: [catches the bag] Radarr, stay and help Junko, Finn, Stork, and Luna... Are you ready Piper and Mags?
Piper: Let's do it!
Mags: Time to ride!
Aerrow: Just go full throttle and try not to hit anything
Aerrow, Mags, and Piper left while we went back to deal with the talons. We waited for them to arrive, as I toss my smoke bombs in the air for Finn to shoot while I appear in the smoke and whacked them out of their skimmers as they crash into each other. The boys laughed as I twirled my hammer guitar around and smiled wickedly.
Luna: Anyone else wanna deal with Crazy Luna
They all sped off to path and ran for their lives, while we drove after them only to spot more talons and Snipe.
Finn: Why does this always happen?
Luna: Boys! Step on it!!
We drove away from Snipe and the Cyclonians as they chased after us, I launched a few more bombs at them while hitting a few Cyclonians. While we were avoiding a wall rises up between us and Snipe along with the Cyclonian when up ahead the wall came down and blocked our path making us stop where we are.
Luna: We're trapped!!
[Sinister laugh]
Luna: [frown] And we get the worst one... Snipe. You know I rather face Dark Ace than this bozo
Just then, Snipe came at Junko as he destroys his Skimmer while Junko rolled across the room and avoided Snipe's attack. When Radarr tried to attack Snipe, only to be whacked and hit Junko and knocking him to the wall with the fruit that had some sticky substance that made them stuck to the wall.
Junko: Whoa, this stuff really is sticky!
Finn tried shooting Snipe while he was distracted, but Snipe blocked his shots and knocked Junko's Skimmer towards him making him stuck while I fear for him.
Luna: Finn!!
Finn: Okay, that's heavy
Luna: [glares] Tch, don't you dare go near Strok!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! AYAYAYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Snipe and I faced each other as I blocked his attaks, and used my free hand to get my energy whip and wrap the end of it around his ankle while I dodged his attacks. I wrap my whip around his body and activated the frost crystal I was using to freeze Snipe in his place, I sighed and got off of him. Just when I was about to run up to Finn I heard something cracking as I looked back to see Snipe escaped my ice imprisonment, I was about to get my hammer guitar when he grab my hair as he lifted me up while I struggle to break free.
Snipe: Nice try, little brat. You're lucky Dark Ace ordered us to keep you alive
Snipe flung me across the room as I hit the wall and fall to the ground, while I struggled to get back up to save Stork when I heard him screaming.
Luna: [gasp] [eyes widen] STORK!!!
Just when Snipe was about to crush Stork, I watched with my own eyes that Strok got a hold of Snipe's energy mace.
Luna: Whoa~
Snipe: When I'm finished with you, Cyclonis will give me a metal! A promotion! A reward!
Stork: How about a free trip?
Just then, Storp pressed a button that activated the ejector seat, making me smile as Snipe was launched up in the air and stuck, only to have his legs sticking out while he struggled to get out.
Stork: And that is why you need an ejector seat. No one messes with my right-hand woman!!
Luna: Stork!!
I slowly got up as I ran up to him and give him a hug, I was relieved that he was okay while he hugged me back.
Luna: I'm glad you're okay, I never knew you were so strong
Stork: Well, gotta make sure I can protect the one I love
Luna: [blushes] Uh...
Stork: I mean the squad!! That's what I mean!!
Finn: Uh, a little help here
Luna: You get Junko and Radarr, I'll get Finn out
I ran up to Finn and helped him out of Junko's skimmer while Stork figures out a way to get Junko and Radarr out without getting stuck to them. Once I got Finn out from Junko's Skimmer, I hugged him as he hugged me back.
Luna: I was so worried
Finn: I'm okay, nothing can hurt the Finn
Luna: [giggles] Oh Finn
Finn: How about after this, we can go star gazing
Luna: I'd love that
Junko: Uh guys, little help here!!
Luna: Oh! Sorry, we're coming!!
Once we got Junko and Radarr out, the wall came crumbing down as the ground started to shake. We all hopped on while I got on Stork's vehicle as we drove to where Mags, Aerrow and Piper were and spotted Piper with Domiwick on the ground.
Junko: This guy giving you trouble?
Piper: Not anymore!
Aerrow: Everybody out!
Mags: Time to go!!
Aerrow: This place is coming down!
Finn: What about my treasure?
Mags: Forget about it!!
Aerrow: There isn't any, move!!!
Finn: What about my future?
Aerrow: Move Finn!!
Luna: We gotta go!!
We sped off to get away from the falling rocks and escape, when Aerow, Piper, and Mags drove behind us.
Luna: What happened to Domiwick?
Mags: Let's just say he's not coming
Luna: So what happened back there, did you see the future?
Mags: Well...
Mag's P.O.V
~ After splitting up ~
Aerrow, Piper, and I drove ahead and didn't make a single stop to our path, we had to drift and speed up to get to our destination until we reached to the end to catch our breath.
Piper: Phew
Mags: Thank goodness, we made it
Aerrow: Piper, Mags look!
We both looked ahead to where Aerrow looked and spotted the door to the inner sanctum, or at least that's what Piper is calling it. The door suddenly opened, we got off our rides and walked up to the door when we heard a voice.
???: Stop right there
We turned around as we saw coming out of the shadows was Domiwick.
Aerrow: Domiwick!! [draw his twin energy blades]
Mags: [aim his twin energy pistols] [glares] Don't even think about taking another step
Domiwick: The treasure chamber is mine and mine alone
Aerrow: We don't take orders from Cyclonian stooges
Just then Piper blocked our path as we looked at her, she was looking serious and determined to fight Domiwick.
Piper: Guys, leave him to me
Aerrow: We'll take him together
Piper: No. This is personal. Get inside, go!
Aerrow and I ran ahead while leaving Piper to Domiwick, we entered a room filled with treasure as we spotted the Oracle Crystal. Aerrow walked up the steps as he was about to grab it when he stopped halfway.
Aerrow: Wait... Too easy
Mags: This has got to be a trick. Right?
Aerrow: Yeah
???: Quite true Aerrow and Mags. Not all is what it seems...
Aerrow: You... Know our names?
???: I've been expecting you. After all, I can see the future
Aerrow: I got a lot of questions, we all do. They made me write them down; Finn wants to know if he get rich, Piper wants to know what she's meant to do with her life, Junko wants to know if he ever finds his missing lucky shovel, Stork wants to know if a cure for bog measles is discovered, and Luna wants to know if she'll ever find her true love...
???: And you?
Aerrow: I just want to know one thing; do we win?
???: Ahh. See for yourself
Just then, I was blinded by the light when Aerrow saw what he asked for, until the light faded and Aerrow was shocked.
Aerrow: I can't let that happen, especially for Mags and Luna
???: Set me free, and a different path begins
Mags: W-Wait! I just gotta know something.. Ummm [blushed] Will... Umm
???: Fufufu, you don't need to ask, I can show you
Just then I saw what appears to be Atmosia, where I stood across from Aerrow as he slipped a ring on my finger and neared his face close to mine until the images faded when I saw Luna with someone who I believe could be her true love as I was brought back to the room Aerrow and I are in.
Aerrow: Mags, you ready?
Mags: [breathe] Yeah
Aerrow and I drew our weapons as we destroyed the statue, just then a bright light blinded us again until the statue was no more. Instead a spirit appeared and it was the same one that spoke to us.
???: Thank you, Sky Knight
Just then, the room started to shake as Aerrow and I avoided a pillar and ran out to see our friends and Domiwick.
Aerrow: Everybody out!
Mags: Time to go!!
Aerrow: This place is coming down!
Finn: What about my treasure?
Mags: Forget about it!!
Aerrow: There isn't any, move!!!
Finn: What about my future?
Aerrow: Move Finn!!
Luna: We gotta go!!
While the others drove off, Aerrow and I waited for Domiwick.
Aerrow: Domiwick, the Oracle is gone, get out while you can!
Domiwick: I'll see for myself
Mags: No!! Don't!!
Piper: Domiwick!!
Aerrow: Piper, let's go, now!
We sped off and drove high speed to avoid the rocks falling, we made it through the hole the Cyclonian left and made it out safety and unharmed. When we got back to the Condor, everyone was getting ready to leave when I spotted Aerrow with Piper, probably to cheer her up and handed her a crystal. I smiled as we gathered our stuff and left Terra Xoam, I was putting away my equipment when I heard Aerrow by my door.
Aerrow: Hey
Mags: Hi... So~ what did you see that could've made you worry about me and Luna?
Aerrow: [frown] You gone and Luna married off to the Dark Ace
Mags: [frown] Oh Aerrow
Aerrow: But I'm gonna make sure you don't vanish, or Luna doesn't get married to Dark Ace. It would pain me to see that happen, especially you
Mags: [blushes] U-U-Umm yeah, sure... Say, when will you finish Luna's Skimmer
Aerrow: Soon, we just need to know what kind of design she wants
Mags: [smile] Heh, knowing her she's gonna want a lot of splash of color
Aerrow: Yup, might as well color it like a rainbow
Mags: Speaking of Luna, where is she?
Aerrow: On a date, with Finn
Mags: Ha! That guy got a date with Luna
Aerrow: You know Finn, always smooth with the "ladies"
Aerrow and I laughed as we bonded over the fact that Finn got a date with Luna, but we know the outcome of what will happen.
Luna's P.O.V
Finn and I hanged out up on the roof of the Condor, as we stargazed at the sky. It was chilly out so he brought a blanket for us to share, while I munch on some berries.
Luna: Oh! There's the Aquila, so beautiful
Finn: [looks at Luna] Yeah, so beautiful~
Luna: Hey Finn, have you ever been on a date with a girl?
Finn: Eh... Not really
Luna: What?! But you're funny and handsome, how can no one go out with you?
Finn: Did you admit I was handsome?
Luna: [blushes] Eh, no!! I just imply that comment. You know me
Finn: Yeah, hey! Wanna hear me sing?
Luna: You can sing? No way
Finn: Way~ ahem...
While Finn was clearing his throat, I waited until he started to sing and in all honesty I wasn't expecting him to be that good.
