The next day, everyone was at the Bridge while Mags was preparing a meal for Luna, with an apology card Junko made that everyone signed. While Finn slipped a picture of him with a sad puppy dog eyes holding a rose, Mags removed that picture and took the tray of breakfast to Luna room and knocked.
Mags: Luna, I'm leaving you a tray of food by your door, will you come out? Please, we're all worried about you... And we're really sorry
Silence was heard and Mags signed as he placed the tray on the floor and walked off to the Bridge, Aerrow was next to Piper when they heard Mags walk in.
Aerrow: Anything?
Mags: She won't come out
Aerrow: Maybe I should talk to her
Piper: No, it's bad enough we made her upset, maybe we would wait till she cools down a bit
Mags: How long?
[Door Opens]
Finn: Umm guys, where's my Skimmer?
Mags: Isn't it in the Hangar like it should?
Finn: Umm no! It's gone!!
Mags: [eye widen] Oh no... Junko, break Luna door down
The Storm Hawks and I rushed to Luna room as Junko pry the door open to see that the room is empty, her closet didn't have her clothes, her bomb inventory is low, her weapons aren't there and the bed hasn't been touched.
Mags: It can't be
Aerrow ran to my room while I followed him to find Luna charm bracelet, we checked his room and found a drawing of the squad with Luna. We looked all over the Condor to confirm our suspicions, Luna was gone.
Aerrow: Piper, try to pinpoint where Luna could've gone, she couldn't have gone far enough to have enough fuel.
Piper: On it!
Aerrow: Finn, Junko, be on the look out for Luna or the Skimmer
Finn/Junko: Right!
Aerrow: Mags, contact every single Sky Knight and make sure they're on alert for Luna
Mags: Got it
We all split up as I went to Luna room and contacted the Sky Knights Piper thinks that's where Luna is, our first destination was at Terra Blizzaris where Suzy Lu greeted us and mentioned seeing Luna here last night.
Suzy Lu: The girl was here for a night, but she left early in the morning without eating anything
Aerrow: Did she tell you where she was going?
Suzy Lu: If I were her she probably went to Terra Saharr
Aerrow: Thanks Suzy Lu
Suzy Lu: Anytime, though I would worry about her. She hasn't eaten much lately
From there we traveled to Terra Saharr where we met with Burner who told us Luna was around but didn't stay long, since she mentioned she needs to be somewhere.
Aerrow: Thanks Burner, we'll be heading off
Burner: Not that it's any of my business, but what did you do to the poor girl?
Aerrow: It's complicated
Burner: You're telling me, her eyes were puffed a little like as if she'd been crying for a while
Aerrow: Yeah... If you see her, can you notify us
Burner: Got it
We left Saharr and went of to our next destination at Terra Rex, only to learn from Harrier that Luna only stayed for a bit to relax her body and mind until she left to head to her destination.
Harrier: She was rather distraught and kept thinking if she should go or not. Frankly she decided to go on and head over to see him
Mags: Was it her father?
Harrier: She never mentioned a name
Mags: [sigh] Well thank you for your time, please let us know if you see her
Harrier: Will do
We left Terra Rex and crossed off the Terra that we visited.
Piper: Ugh!! This is so frustrating, she isn't at Terra Rex, Terra Gale, Terra Blizzaris, or Terra Saharr, we looked almost everywhere!! Where else are we missing?!
Aerrow: Hmmm.... It cant be Terra Atmosia, otherwise her Father would've contacted us... Oh! I know, maybe we can use the tracker on Luna Communication Watch
Mags: Wait a second, does that mean she had a tracker this whole time!?
[Record Scratch]
Aerrow:... No.... no~ of course I did-n't
Just then, I started holding Aerrow in a chokehold and glaring at him while he struggles to break free from my grasp.
Mags: YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT THIS WHOLE ENTIRE TIME YOU HAD A TRACKING DEVICE ON HER!!!??? WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING IN THE FIRST PLACE!!???
Aerrow: I forgot, I thought maybe she left it behind!! Stork!! Activate it now!!
Stork: Yes!!
Stork flipped the switch as we looked to see that Luna location is honed to Terra Tropica, but why would she be there unless.
Mags: Who is she going to meet? A family relative? A friend she knows of but we don't?
Aerrow: Or maybe worst... The Dark Ace. Stork, step on it!! Put the petal to the metal!!
Stork stepped on it as we flew to Terra Tropica, hopefully when we get there the Dark Ace isn't already there.
Luna's P.O.V
I changed my clothes to something decent as I walked around Tropica with my shoes off as I let the water touch my feet, after I walked around I spotted Dark Ace from a distance watching the waves crash. My heart started to pound as I felt like I had butterfly in my stomach, it's been so long that he's changed so much. I built up the courage and put back on my shoes as I slowly approached him, and cleared my throat to let him know that I was here.
Luna:... Dark Ace
Dark Ace:... Luna, it's been a while
Luna: It has... So... You've changed a lot. Last time. I saw you, you were a Sky Knight for the Storm Hawks, the original ones I mean... What happened?
Dark Ace: Something had changed my heart, I realized now that everything I had was taken from me. Including the girl I cherished, you
Luna:.. mmh... Me? But there are so many women out there, surely any of them could make a suitable choice
Dark Ace:... Instead, I chose you
My heart skipped a beat, when suddenly he approached me as my face went red by how close he was. He took my hand and brought it close to his lips as he kissed them, he flip them the side as he placed my hand on his cheek and smiled.
Dark Ace: Luna, I really want you to be my wife. I really do cherish you, but there's one thing I wish to ask of you
Luna: What is it?
Dark Ace: [lean his face close] Join me
Luna: What?
Dark Ace: You heard me, together you and I can rule all of Atmos, you and I can rule together with the help of Master Cyclonis of course. Once she takes over Atmos, you and I can be kings and queens, together till the very end
I looked at him and he looked sincere about it, I thought about being with the Dark Ace since he has been honest but somehow I remembered something my aunt used to tell me when I was young and a friend of mine back at my home terra kept a secret from me once.
"... There are two reasons why they keep a secret, Luna. One, it's to not hurt anyone heart, two, it's to protect them from the horrible things that could come out from their own secrets"

Luna: Huh?
Dark Ace: I asked you "if you will join me?"
I looked down at his hand as he offered it to me, I hesitated but then I thought about the fun times I had with the Storm Hawks, I can't just throw that away.
Luna: I'm sorry... But no
Dark Ace: Pardon?
Luna: I'm sorry Dark Ace, but I can't join... If Aerrow and his squad had a reason to keep it a secret, it was probably best to protect me from the harm it could do... I don't wanna harm anyone and I especially don't wanna be a Talon... I'm really sorry, you don't have to force yourself to love me... We don't have to get married
The sound of the ocean waves was only sound that was heard as I slowly back away from the Dark Ace while he frown, I know I hurt his feelings but, it shouldn't be this way.
Dark Ace:... I understand Luna, I was hoping for a chance but since you chose your path
Luna:... Ace
Dark Ace: I guess I'll have to take you... By force
I gasped as he unsheathed his blade, before I could run a cage dropped onto me as I tried to get out. A couple of talons hidden behind the palm trees and bushes came out as they attached the chains to their skimmers while the other brought my satchel with my weapon and bombs inside, alon with the scroll that the Dark Ace took out.
Dark Ace: Excellent, everything is all here
Luna: Why?! Why are you doing this!!?? You don't have to do this!!! We don't have to get married just because my parents arranged it!!
Dark Ace: Fufufufu, Luna. Who said anything about your parents picking me to marry you?
Luna: [eyes widen] What? But then, that could only mean-
Dark Ace: I chose you, when I heard about you I knew you had such potential. So I insisted on your parents to arranged a marriage for us, I promised them so much that I would take care of you, watch over you, and cherish you and only you. Now that they're out of your life, you have no one to turned to... But me... Take her to the Airship, no dely
Luna: No!!! Nonononono!!!
I felt the cage shifted as it was being lifted with me inside up in the air, I tried to use my gravity but when I touched the bars it sent a jolt of energy toward my body shocking me to the floor. Until I heard an engine from a distance and saw Mags at the beach sand, I carefully got to the edge and screamed at the top of my lungs.
Luna: MAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGSSSSS!!!!
Mags: [eye widen] LUUUUNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
Before long, I was in the Airship as the door closed, when the guards were near I took the chance to grab one of them when a hand caught my wrists that I looked up to see Ravess.
Ravess: Awwww poor little princess is nothing without her weapon, too bad your zero gravity won't work once we slip these special gloves that will prevent you from making anyone else float, plus you won't be able to take them off
I struggled to get out of Ravess's grip, until two of the talons slipped the gloves on me and Ravess let me go while I lay on the floor.
Ravess: Won't be long till we get to Cyclonia
Luna: Oh yeah, then what's stopping the Storm Hawks from coming to rescue me!!!
Ravess: You're joking, do you really think they'll come to rescue you? Too bad they can't track you without this~
I saw in Ravess hand was my communication watch that she handed it to Snipe as he smashed it into small pieces, they both laughed until Dark Ace arrived and got off his Skimmer as he approached my imprisonment.
Luna: S-Stay back!! G-G-Get away from me!!!
Dark Ace: Awwww after what I went through to bring you to me?
Luna: [glares] You tricked me!
Dark Ace: Oh no, Luna dear. You took it upon yourself to come to me, I gave you that choice and you chose to come here. The path you chose was all on you
Luna: Ngh...
Dark Ace: Set a course to Cyclonia, once from there take my fiancé to the dungeon... [glares] Make sure you chain her ankle tight
Cyclonian Talon C: Yes sir [scurry away]
Dark Ace: I'm giving you a choice, Luna. Either sign the scroll, be bound to me for all eternity, and become a talon by my side... Or stay in a prison cell where you will never escape my grasp ever again...
Mags's P.O.V
We arrived at Tropica, Aerrow, Junko, and I got on our Skimmers as we soar into the skies and go searching until we spotted Finn's Skimmer but no sign of Luna.
Aerrow: She can't be that far, let's split up
We all went to different directions as I called out for Luna, when I heard her someone screaming from a distance. I picked up the pace and drove off to the direction when I reached to the end of the beach and to my horror, I looked up and saw Luna being carried in a cage.
Luna: MAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGSSSSS!!!!
Mags: [eye widen] LUUUUNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
I drove a distance and found a rock perfectly shaped like a ramp, so I put the petal to the metal and drove fast and flew into the skies after them. When the Dark Ace spotted me and decided to turn around and face me, I glared as I got my energy pistols and shot at him. As he dodged my blast until he was close and I got off, and blocked his blade from attacking me.
Mags: [glares] Give. Her. Back!!
Dark Ace: If you want her, come and get her but I guarantee you... She doesn't want to see you all after the betrayal you caused
Mags: We were trying to protect her from you!
Dark Ace: You were and this is the results... All of this is the Storm Hawks fault
???: Mags!!!
I looked back to see Aerrow with Junko, Piper, and Finn, as I was about to turn around we pulled our weapons away and I took the chance of opportunity when the Dark Ace knocked my energy pistol out of my hands and got a hold of my collar.
Dark Ace: Let's see if the doctor can swim
The Dark Ace pushed me away and picked me off my Skimmer as I fall and plummeted into the water, I swam up and tried to catch my breath when I saw my Skimmer falling along the way making me take a deep breath and dive to avoid the hit. I swam up when suddenly I was stuck as I look down to see my foot caught on the Skimmer, I tried to get it off but I was slowly descending down deep into the water as I was slowly running out of oxygen when I heard a splash and looked up to see Aerrow swimming down to help me, I pointed at my foot as he tried to get me out while I was slowly seeing black spots until I was engulfed in the dark.
No One's P.O.V
Up at the surface, Piper, Junko, Finn, and Radarr waited and waited until they saw Aerrow come up to the surface with Mags in his arms. They all ran halfway to the water as Aerrow handed them Mags while Piper and Finn dragged him to the sand, Piper tried to get Mags to wake up by shaking his body until Aerrow stepped in and perform CPR on him. The squad kept silence and was looking anxious to see if Mags will wake up, after four attempts Mags came through and started coughing up water while Finn patted his back to help him out.
Aerrow: Thank goodness, you're okay [hugs Mags]
Mags: [cough] [cough] Where is he?... [pant] [pant] The Dark Ace... Did he?
Piper: They're gone
Mags: [cough] Why didn't you go after them?!
Finn: We couldn't leave you to drown
Mags: They have Luna, and sure enough they have the scroll. We have to go after them!
Aerrow: And we will, but right now we need to come up with a plan. We can't just go in and wing it
Piper: He's right Mags, Luna is tough and she'll come through
Mags: [sigh] You're right, but we have to think fast, if we don't then he'll have what he wants
Aerrow: We will
The Storm Hawks head back to the Condor getting Mags Skimmer back, the plot a course to Cyclonia and prepare a plan to retrieve their rebellious member. Meanwhile, at Terra Cyclonia, the Dark Ace along with Snipe and Ravess walked to the dungeon as they hear the sounds of someone getting beaten up.
Ravess: So this little girl is a bit-
[Whack]
A talon suddenly flew across the cage and into a wall as he slid down to the floor, unconscious.
Ravess: vicious?
Dark Ace: Only if you provoke her, which these Talons have already done
When they approach the cell they spotted Luna holding a talon in a chokehold while he struggled to break loose.
Dark Ace: Easy there Princess, we already have many talons enough to fill the infirmary
Luna: Then let me go, or I will fight my way out
Dark Ace: You don't stand a chance Luna, now let the talon go
Luna: Funny I was more than ready to take my chances in-
[Bzzzzttt]
Luna: AGGGGHHHHHH!!!
Luna let go as she fell to the floor, giving the talon the opportunity to cuff her ankle and scurry over to the doorway along with the rest of the talon guards.
Dark Ace: I'll make this easy for you Luna, just sign the scroll and we can have the wedding you so desire
Luna:... [glares]... Never
Dark Ace: [frown] Have it your way, if you won't sign it, I'll have Master Cyclonis control your body so you'd sign it
Luna: Ha! That will never work!!
Dark Ace: [smirk] You won't know until you try... [glares] Guard this cell, and do not let this one escape like last time
The Dark Ace left while Snipe laughed and Ravess waved her fingers at Luna, making the girl glare as she sat on the ground and pouted.
Ravess: So what do we do if the Storm Hawks show up?
Dark Ace: We'll be ready, have every Talon keep an eye out. They're bound to show up to rescue her
Outside of Cyclonia, the Storm Hawks arrived as Aerrow and Mags explain the plan to the squad.
Aerrow: This mission is extremely important and mostly dangerous
Piper: In other words, our style
Aerrow: Right, but we also have to proceed with extreme caution. Knowing Master Cyclonis and the Dark Ace, they'll have something for us when we get there
Mags: We have three priorities. One, infiltrate into the towers. Two, search and rescue Luna with the scroll. And three, get in and out of there before we get spotted
Mags: It all starts with Aerrow and I, we'll use Luna's smoke bombs to camouflage ourselves with the steam so the Talons won't spot us when we approach the , then Stork will dock in a secluded location to avoid being seen. Finn and Junko we'll be backup in case things go wrong. Piper, you'll keep an eye out for any Talons and find us a blind spot to enter
Piper: Got it
Aerrow: Remember, this mission is important. Luna is our best friend and a member of our crew, she's the sweetest girl in Atmos, it would pain us to see her work for Master Cyclonis... Are we clear on that?
Storm Hawks: Yes!
Aerrow: Good
Stork: Approaching Terra Cyclonia
Aerrow: Mags. Let's roll
Aerrow and Mags went to the Hangar and drove off as they fly, when they were approaching they were about to use the smoke bombs when Mags noticed something was off.
Mags: Something isn't right. Shouldn't there be talons out on patrol? This is just too easy
Piper [Coms]: Yeah, they wouldn't make this easy unless they had a reason to do it
Aerrow: We'll have to worry about that later, right now, Luna is in grave danger. That's our focus
Piper [Coms]: Okay, there should be a place to park your Skimmers hidden from the eyes of the patrols. From there you'll have to free climb your way up into the loading docks, shouldn't be a problem
Aerrow: We're on it
They arrived at the location Piper told them to park and hide, as Aerrow and Mags approached the wall and free climb it to get go the loading docks. When they did, they noticed a few talons around giving them a chance to sneak around them and enter the hallways to get to the Dungeon. They looked through each cell one by one until they heard a soft whimpering of a girl, this made them both worried as they quickly approached the last cell and see Luna sitting on the floor with her arms crossed over her knees and head buried into her arms.
Aerrow: Luna! Hey Luna!
Luna: [sniff] Aerrow? Mags? What are you-
Mags: We're here to bust you out
Luna:... I don't even think it's worth busting me out, just let me rot here until I succumb to the Dark Ace's wishes
Aerrow: What?
Luna: It's clear that you guys lied to me, you kept the secret from me, and it's bad enough that you all didn't bother to tell me... Are there anymore secrets you're not telling me that my father kept from me for all these years?
Mags: No, Luna sweetie. No, we didn't mean to, it's just.... Your father wanted to protect you
Aerrow: He wanted to keep you safe, he knew how dangerous the Dark Ace would be if you married him. That's why he had to keep it a secret from you, he didn't want your life to be ruined by some power hunger traitor... You deserve better
Mags: And we think that there is someone who will treat you with love, respect, and compassion
Luna: How do I know you're telling the truth?
Aerrow: You may not know it, but deep down you've been feeling that sort of feeling that makes you smile and laugh
Mags: And sometimes you get these butterflies in your stomach and you just want to release them into the open skies where you can tell that person how you feel
Luna:...
Aerrow: Luna, I'm really sorry for not telling you, I wanted to tell you so much because it isn't fair to keep it from you, especially when it involves your future, I hope that someday you will forgive us for not telling. Plus, we want to convince your father in telling you everything you want to know... Will you ever forgive us?
Luna:... [look up] You promise?
Aerrow looked at the cell door and broke it with one of his energy blades, and opened the door while smiling with Mags.
Aerrow: Sky Knight honor
Luna:... [smile]
Mags: Now why don't we get that shackle off of you
Luna: Actually I was able to get it off, thanks to my bobby-pin I keep in my pocket
Mags: You sneaky little girl
Luna removed the shackles as she slowly approached Mags and Aerrow, when all of the sudden they heard a slow clap from across the hall and saw the Dark Ace with a couple of talons behind him.
Dark Ace: How touching, to think you both will keep a promise like that. Especially when you promised Deimos that you wouldn't tell her
Aerrow: [glares] The Dark Ace
Mags: [take out his energy pistols] You wouldn't want to make a scene, we have Luna safe and you lose
Dark Ace: Fufufufu, and who said that I lost? I only allowed you two to get this far for a reason
Aerrow: What?
Piper [Coms]: Guys!! We're under attack!! It's a trap!! [bzzt]
Mags: Piper?! [glares] What did you do?!
Dark Ace: I sent the troublesome siblings to attack your friends at the Condor, I'm sure by now they're struggling to defend the ship from the danger those two can cause
Mags: Why you-
Dark Ace: I'll make this simple, I'll call them off if Luna here signs the scroll and I'll grant you both a walk out of here, seems fair?
Aerrow: Likely, no way. The second she signs it, you get both sides, us and Luna. No deal
Mags: We'll take our chances
Dark Ace: I wasn't asking you two, I was asking her... Luna, you have a heart made of glass and it would break your heart if something terrible happens to them, especially these two. You can help them by signing the scroll and I'll ensure they will walk free. How does that sound?
Mags: Don't believe him, Luna. He's lying
Finn [Coms]: Guys!!! They've taken down our shield defense!!
Stork [Coms]: I can't shake them off!! We're doomed!!
Luna was feeling concerned about the Storm Hawks and felt her heart clench, as she slowly walked out and turned to face the Dark Ace and walk away from Aerrow and Mags.
Mags: Luna!
Luna: I'm sorry...
Dark Ace: [smirk] Excellent, the sooner you sign this the better for your-
Just then, Luna shifted her body as she kicked the Dark Ace in the face as he barely missed by an inch. When he stumbled back, his eyes widen when he felt something drip down his cheek a bit as he saw Luna change of behavior.
Luna:... Don't act like as if I'm too forgiving to accept all the things you've done to my friends, the sky knights, and my father... I AM DONE BEING TOLD HOW MY LIFE SHOULD BE!!!!
Just then Luna came at Dark Ace as she punched and kicked him, while he blocked her attacks while trying to keep up with her speed. When Luna managed to tear the gloves off of her as he tried to grab her but she caught his wrist and smirked, before he could respond he felt the gravity shift as he collapsed to the ground trying hard to get up. When Luna walked up to her Hammer Guitar and picked it up, she walked to him and glared.
Luna: Nighty night, jerk
Luna lifted her hammer and used all her strength to smack the ground around him and the talons as it starts to crumble, and they fall through the hole, Aerrow and Mags grinned while Luna turned to them as she ran and hugged them while they welcomed her back.
Luna: Now let's get out of here, I think the Dark Ace needs to think about his actions
Aerrow: Let's get out of here
Mags: Sucks to be you Dark Ace, cause you got beaten by a girl!!
While the trio ran away, the Dark Ace climbed back up and glared.
Dark Ace: You can run all you want, but you'll never escape. AFTER THEM!!!!
The alarm goes off as the trio hears the sound of the alarm, they spotted more talons ready to attack as Luna rushed forward and got ready to touch each and every one of them as they float in midair, when they reached to the exit of the loading docks she deactivated her powers as they all fall and groan. Aerrow and Mags hopped on their skimmers while Luna hopped on Mags as they fly away, only to be chased my more talons.
Aerrow: Stork!! We're out of here, get out of there now!!
Stork: YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL ME TWICE!!!
Luna: Aerrow!! We got talons!!!
Mags: I got this one
Mags shot down two talons as they crash into boulder while the others flew after, as soon as Mags was about to take the third shot. Somehow the talon Skimmer was malfunctioning and crashed into another talon until the wing came off and crashing into another, leaving the Trio confused but just shrugged when they flew off and escaped Cyclonia and back to the Condor where the crew welcomed them back. As Luna got off the Skimmer, she stood in silence until the crew saw her.
Luna: [breathe] Words can't help but... I'm sorry for taking Finn's skimmer and running away, I thought maybe you guys were better off-
Luna was cutoff when Aerrow pulls her into a hug, she was left stunned by his actions until he spoke to her.
Aerrow: Never run away, Luna. I would never want to make you leave the squad... We're a team and a family
Luna teared up but buried her face into his chest as she hugged him back, while Junko shouted "group hug" making the squad hug Luna as best they could. Luna smiled, while Aerrow looked at Mags and smiled at him. Everything was back the way it should be, until they hear the radio go static again.
Luna: Who's calling?
Piper: Oh! I finally managed to patch him in for the call
Luna: Who?
Piper: You'll see
Piper lead the squad to the Bridge where she turned the dial so they could hear clearer until it went silent until it spoke.
??? [Radio]: Hello? Storm Hawks? Are you there?
Piper: Yes, it us Deimos
Luna: [whispers] Dad?
Piper: We've been trying to contact you for a while and we were worried something terrible had happened
Deimos [Radio]: I'm fine, just having a horrible day. My daughter is gone and I fear that the Dark Ace has got a hold of mi niñita [Translate: My little girl]
Aerrow: Sir, you don't have to worry about that anymore, your daughter is safe. She's with us
Deimos [Radio]: She's there?!
Piper: Go on...
Luna:... Hola Papa
Deimos [Radio]: Luna!! Oh my dear Luna!! You're okay!!
Luna: I am, papa
Deimos [Radio]: Where have you been, I was worried about you, when I saw your room empty, your stuff gone, and pieces of your hair, I feared for the worst!!
Luna: It's okay Papa, I'm fine. I... I...
Mags walked up to Luna and patted her back as he reassured her that everything will be alright.
Luna: Papa, you have to be honest with me... Is it true you gave me up to marry the Dark Ace?
Deimos [Radio]:... Luna... I... [sigh]... Yes, I did... But that was before he became the Dark Ace. I think it's about time you know the truth... When you were young you always thrived to become a suitable woman who will not only fight to protect, but also cherish the one you will marry in the future. When Ace heard about it, he volunteered to take your hand in marriage when you reached to a certain age and reached to your full potential. We thought nothing of it and you always seem to enjoy his presence around whenever the Storm Hawks drops by... you were so pure and kind that we hoped he'd cherish you the way we did, but that didn't last when we heard what he did, then one day one of our Sky Knights heard that the Dark Ace was on his way to get you, so we had no choice but to leave and never return.
