Luna's P.O.V
I was up on the roof of the Condor meditating, trying to practice my gravity manipulation as I go through each object I touch. So far I was getting the hang of making making medium size objects float but when I try a big object it results the same, I start to feel dizzy and I quickly make the objects that I made floating not float anymore.
Luna: [sigh] ugh!! I still can't master it... What am I missing?
Piper: Luna!! We gotta go!! The boys need our help
Luna: Huh? Okay!
Piper: You can join me on my Heliscooter if you want
Luna: Cool!!
I hopped off the roof of the Condor, and joined Piper at the Hangar as I gear up and hop on the back of her Heliscooter. She drove off and as we soar to help the boys out, we spotted some
Cyclonian Talons as I got my glitter bombs ready and launch at them making them crash into each other when their goggles are covered in glitter that I spotted Ravess from a distance.
Luna: Hey Piper, fly next to Ravess, I got a special glitter bomb to deliver
Piper: Right
Piper flew by as we spotted the Condor flying in to pick up the boys, leaving Raven confused.
Ravess: What is this?!?
Piper: It's called backup
Luna: [grin] Special delivery~ I hope you love glitter
I tossed Ravess a glitter bomb while Piper destroyed the back of Ravess skimmer, as she flew far the glitter bomb exploded and covered Ravess in pink glitter.
Luna: See ya!! Wouldn't wanna be ya!!
[Luna and Piper laugh]
Piper: Nice one, Luna
Luna: You too, Piper. That was awesome!!
We flown back to the Condor as we fly away and reached to a location where we could lay low for now.
Aerrow: Well Stork, Luna, what's our status?
Stork: Well, we're nearly out of crystal fuel, our bulkhead is torn and I've got this strange rash...
Aerrow: I mean the Cyclonians. Did we lose them?
Luna: No sign...
Stork: For now
[laughters]
Aerrow: That. Was. Awesome!!
Finn: Mission accomplished!
Piper: What mission? I had a perfectly reasonable plan with a precise timetable, tactical objectives and if strategically prudent, a small pre-emptive strike
Finn: So we just cut to the part where we launch the goo bomb
Junko: That was cool
Piper: Did you even get Luna permission to get them from her room?
Finn: Uh.... Was that necessary?
Luna: What?!
Aerrow: Okay, we didn't follow your plan exactly Piper, but look! We got a whole crate of weapons-grade crystals out of it
Piper: We'll that was just lucky. But considering where they came from, I should check them out first... Just in case
Stork: Smart... Although it's probably too late for us already. Especially if those are gilla crystals. Turns your blood into poison. No cure
Luna: While I still have to figure out how I can make bigger things float, I still can't master it and I tried everything. Longer sleep, exercise, cutting off the sweets and stress, and meditation. But nothing works!! Ugh!!!
Mags: You'll get through it, I'm sure you will
I walked away and went to the Hangar to keep Piper company, as I try a different method. I tried to float upside down and meditate, but even that didn't work cause I was getting dizzy and made myself stop floating. Not realizing I was still in the air, until I crashed onto the floor.
Luna: Whoa!!!
[BAM]
Luna: Ow~
Piper: You okay, Luna?
Luna: Great. How's the crystal going?
Piper: Well, so far I've gotten nothing and-
[Crash]
Piper: Whoa!!!
Piper franticly tries to catch the crystal, when I leaped and caught it. We both watched as Finn and Aerrow were playfully fighting, while Junko and Radarr were doing the same too.
Piper: Do you mind?
Junko: Sorry
[Crash]
Piper: I'm sure you're having fun with whatever it is you're doing. But I'm trying to work here and Luna trying to practice [put the crystal away] These could be dangerous [walks away]
Aerrow: It's combat training. Aren't you always telling us to be prepared?
Piper: [turns around] That isn't preparing. Preparing is spending six hours coming up with the perfect reconnaissance plan. A plan all of you decided to ignore
Aerrow: I know you worked hard on that, but sometimes, you um, details are good. I like details, but when you have too many details
Luna: Aerrow you better say it before you make it worst
Finn: What he's trying to say is your plan was kinda lame
Luna: Uh oh
Piper: How do you even know that?! You didn't even follow it!
Luna: She's got you there, boys
Piper: Look; your "stealth capes" are right where I left them
I looked at the stealth capes and slipped on one wearing the doggie stealth cape, feeling giddy and loving it.
Finn: If you hate the way we do things so much, why don't you make a new plan and leave. Buh-bye
Piper: You wouldn't last one day without me and-
Finn: Wanna bet?
Luna: [frown] Finn, don't-
[Piper walks away]
Aerrow: C'mon Piper, don't be so sensitive. Finn was only...
Luna: Piper... Hmm... I think I know how to help you win the bet Piper
I left to go to my room and gather some stuff in my duffle bag as I carry my hammer guitar, and see Piper walking to her Heliscooter.
Aerrow: Hey Piper, wanna play?
Piper: No thanks, I'm quitting
[Junko and Finn laugh hysterically]
[Footsteps... Footsteps]
Luna: Got room for one more?
Finn: Huh?
Piper: [smile] Sure, the more the merrier
Finn: [frown] Eh, Luna. Why do you have a duffle bag? And your gear?
Luna: Oh, because I'm quitting with Piper
[Record Scratch]
Stork: WHAT!!??? I can't let you quit!!!
[CRASH]
[BAM]
[SCREECH]
[Door Opens]
Stork: [huff] [huff] You can't quit!! I need you as my right-hand woman!!
Finn: And I need you because... Because... Because I need you~!!!
Luna: No you don't, you made that very clear to me that if you can handle without Piper, you can last without me. Bye~
I was walking towards Piper when I felt something gripping my right leg and waist, I looked down to see Stork gripping my waist while Finn held my leg. I frown and just continued to walk while dragging them with me.
Finn: No~ you can't leave us~!!! We need you~!!
Luna: Nope, you boys made it very clear that us girls can just handle ourselves. I guess you'll have to do your own laundry, make your own food, and everything else me and Piper have been doing around the Condor. Buh bye~
I got out of Stork and Finn's grip as I hopped on the back of Piper's Heliscooter, as she was driving off she stopped to talk to Finn.
Piper: And by the way Finn, my top score is 168. Still champion
Luna: Also I didn't get a chance to do your dirty laundry so good luck with that
Piper and I smiled as we drove off into the sky and flew far away, until we reached the ground and drove off.
No One's P.O.V
Mags was done organizing and cleaning his infirmary, that he walked into the Hangar to see the boys staring outside of the Condor making him confused as he approached them.
Stork: Only one explanation for Piper leaving; she's infected with the Thoraxian mind worms. We should all be tested
Aerrow: She's just blowing off some steam. Piper and Luna wouldn't really leave us... Would they?
Stork: I'm telling you... Mind worms
Mags: What?!
The boys got stiffed when the thunder was heard, as they turned to see Mags with his arm crossed and glaring at them.
Mags: I left you guys for five minutes and already Piper and Luna are gone because they quit?!
Aerrow: Eh... Yeah
Mags: Who is responsible for this?
Junko, Stork, Aerrow, and Radarr pointed the finger at Finn, while Finn looked at each and every one of them until he pointed at Radarr. Making him bite Finn finger as he screamed in pain, when Radarr let go Mags groan and slapped a hand on his head.
Mags: Of course you would do something stupid, every time
Meanwhile
Luna was setting up a tent while Piper used the binoculars to check in on the boys, seeing Mags yelling at the boys while they're on their knees and sitting.
Piper: Squadron log supplemental; experimental exceeding expectation [sigh] I think I'll just let them squirm for a little while
Luna: Those boys won't last without us, how are they doing?
Piper: We'll after Mags smacked them upside the head, they're recuperating from that injury
[Luna and Piper laugh]
Back with the boys
Junko: You want me to go look for them? I got eyes like a hawk
Stork: Don't be alarmed, but I think there's a thief aboard. My peepers are... Missing
Finn: Maybe Piper took them
Stork: Why would she do that man? I mean, she knows how long it took me to make- Unless
Aerrow: Mind telling us what you're doing?
Stork: Oh, I'm on to her scheme
Stork looked through the telescope as he searched high and low, letting Finn take a look when they spotted Piper hanging around.
Finn: Oh she's good
Mags: WHO DIDN'T CLEAN THE LAUNDRY!!!????
Finn: [eyes widen] Oh boy, Luna has to come back. It's her turn
[Footsteps... Footsteps]
Mags: Who's turn was it?
Finn: Wasn't it Luna, turn? I think she could come back. Don't cha think
Mags: Hm... Is that so? Well since Luna isn't here I guess you'll have to do the laundry, you and Stork
Finn: What?! It's Luna's turn!! Why does she get a free pass?
Mags: Hm, let me think. Because a moron decided to speak his blow horn mouth and make Piper and Luna leave
Finn: I didn't make Luna leave, she voluntarily left
Mags: Either way, wash the clothes or else
Finn: Why do we have to do it?
Mags gave Finn and Stork a firm stare as they jumped and scurried away, not wanting to mess with Mags.
Mags: Aerrow, we have to do something about this. It's only a matter of time before it gets worse
Aerrow: Oh come on, what's the worst that can happen?
[BAM]
Finn/Stork: AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Mags: That
The floor was completely flooded with water and bubbles as they walk in to see Stork and Finn covered in bubbles. Back with the girl, Luna was cooking Piper a meal, while Piper was feeling bored until she got Stork peepers
Piper: Let's see how much they've missed me [gasp] They're suppose to be suffering
Luna: Don't worry, when it comes to Junko he's not really a good chef
Back with the boys, they all gather around the table and sat while Mags is feeling frustrated.
Aerrow: Mags, c'mon. We can last without them
Junko: You guys are going to be so glad you let me cook...
Mags: Wait! You let him cook? [whispers] Are you completely out of your minds?
Finn: How bad can it be?
Stork: [hand Finn a paper] My will
Junko removed the lid as it revealed to be live tentacles moving around.
Junko: Well? What are you waiting for? Dig in!
Aerrow: Remember, she's watching. You gotta act like you love it
Mags: Or just surrender and let by gone be by gone. Pick, your poison
Unfortunately for them, it wasn't easy since the food kept moving. Back with the girls, Piper was feeling down and slumped again the tree until she smelt a luxurious scent that draw her in.
Luna: Dinner ready~
Piper: Luna, you always know how to cheer me up
Luna: [giggles] Well, it looks like it's gonna rain, time to rise the tent
The boys decided to check in on the girls to see how they were doing, only to see Luna hasn't finished up setting the tent.
Finn: Awwww, poor Luna hasn't set up the tent. Guess they're gonna be soaked by the rain
Luna took out a pair of scissors as she cut the rope making the pulley work and move until a huge tent was set follow by a table and chairs for Luna and Piper, and futons for them. The boys jaws drop except for Mags who had a smirk on her face knowing Luna would pull something like that. Finn looked through the telescope as Piper enjoyed a juicy steak while Luna grinned and looked at their direction making Finn jump.
Mags: Now do you wanna admit it, boys?
Finn: Never!!! We never give up!!!!
Mags: That's it, I'm calling it off!! We need them as much as they need us, they can survive without us!
Finn: Never!!
Mags: Oh just admit it!! You can't do anything with Luna, she cooks, she cleans, she washes your dirty laundry, she's literally the ideal house wife you ever want
Just then, they noticed the frosted breath that came out of Mags mouth, making them shiver when they couldn't feel the heat.
Junko: W-What happened to all the furnace crystals? It's f-freezing in here
Aerrow: I'm working on it, Junko. This isn't as easy as it looks
[Bzzt]
Finn: You know she could have stocked us up before abandoning ship
Stork: Well at least we have plenty of Piper's sand cakes left and Luna's soft and chewy chocolate chip-less cookies. A day without those is like a day without bat repellent- [look into the jar] [gasps]
Junko: I miss Piper and Luna. Burnt food just doesn't taste the same without Luna
Mags: Junko, you're eating a napkin. Again
Junko: Yeah I know that [munch on napkin] can't we just go get them?
Mags: Yes!!
Finn: Guys, snap out of it okay? This is exactly what she wants you to think. It's a mind game, and we're gonna win
Mags: No we won't!! Finn, just give up. We need them, without Piper she wouldn't be able to give us the coordinates to each Terra, this place is all gloomy and sad without Luna bubbly personality around to make us smile and enjoy her music. I miss that
Luna was fast asleep while Piper left and went back to the Condor to leave Stork's peepers, and her journal behind. Luna woke up from the thundering sound, as she sat up and turns to see Piper gone. She stood up and searched all over with her hoodie on, until she spotted Piper leaving when suddenly her Heliscooter wasn't working.
Piper: What's going on? I just refueled
Luna: [gasp] Piper!!
Luna acted quickly as she rushed forward and leap, soon after Piper's Heliscooter crashed as Piper fell out when suddenly Luna activated her gravity manipulation on herself and got her whip to catch Piper and pull her close enough so that she could float too. She used her whip to get a hold of a branch and pull them down dogs here until she deactivated it and they landed on some vines, they both sigh when suddenly her Heliscooter came falling making them scream when it came to a halt. Piper's bag was dangling until they noticed something glowing inside, Luna reached out and grab it only to be the crystal Piper took.
Luna: What is that?
Piper: It's a leech crystal! Oh, this is bad. And they have a whole crate on the Condor
Luna: This is not good, we have to warn them
[Vroom]
Luna: [gasp] Cyclonians
Talon C: Fufufu, I love sneak attacks
Back at the Condor, Aerrow and Mags packed lightly and decided to go after the girls.
Aerrow: we're going out on patrol.
Finn: You mean you're going to look for Piper
Mags: Look, we need them as much as they need us. We're careless and who knows what careless stuff we'll do
Aerrow: Uh, guys... Where's the scroll?
Finn: Uh, what scroll?
Aerrow: The scroll that contains the contract of Luna being handed to the Dark Ace for marriage, that scroll
Mags: Wait! You lost it!?
Aerrow: No, I put right here. No one was here except... [gasp] It has to be here somewhere!! Everyone spread out and find it! Piper go and- oh wait. Piper isn't here or Lu-... On No
Mags: You don't think...
Finn: I mean she was here most of the times, could she have seen it?
Aerrow: I told her to put the maps away, it must've gotten mixed with the maps and-
Mags: Luna probably has it!!
Aerrow: I blew it
Mags: Aerrow, you had one job. One- Whoa!!
[Condor Shakes]
Mags: What's happening?!
Stork: It's a power drain! We're going down!!
[Alarm Blares]
Finn: Now what?
Stork: Proximity alert. Something's coming
Aerrow: Piper?
Mags: Luna?
Stork: No, no, she wouldn't trigger a- wait I've got something... Cyclonians
Mags: [glares] Ravess, I should've known something was off about their behavior
Back with Piper and Luna, they both heard Ravess commanding the talons to launch. When all of the sudden, the vines snapped and both Piper and Luna fell on the ground.
Piper: Um, hi
Talon C: Well well, a little birdie fell out of her nest. And she brought the The Dark Ace's bride. Just our lucky day
Luna: mmh [frown]
[Laughter]
Luna: Oh yeah [take the leech crystal] Well I'm not getting married. Take this you Cyclonian scum!!
Luna tossed the crystal into the insert of one of the Cyclonian's Skimmer as it entered, making the others stop laughing follow by two glue bombs at the others.
Piper: [smile] You might want to think about jumping ship
Luna: Have fun being stuck together~
Piper and Luna ran when they stopped at the edge of the cliff, they both spotted Piper's Heliscooter flung over as they both leaped and hopped on. Piper turns the engine on and they were soaring in the air.
Piper: We've got to get to the Condor before it's too late!
Luna: Piper, I'll deal with the Condor, you help the others. I'll find the crate and toss it out
Piper: Okay!
Luna: [look back] Piper!! Talon just behind us!!
Piper: I'm almost there, think you can float your way over?
Luna: Yeah!
Once Piper got close enough, Luna jumped and activated her gravity manipulation to soar in the Condor and float to see Stork clutching onto the wall.
Luna: Stork!
Stork: Luna? Is that really you? Oh my beautiful right-hand woman I miss you so much... Oh yeah, This Ship's losing power!
Luna: It's the crystals we took! They're leech crystals, where are they?
Stork: Over there, across the bridge
Luna: Stork, launch me
Stork took Luna's hand as he throws her across the bridge with all his strength, as Luna got the crate full of crystal and threw them out. When suddenly the Condor started to fall. Luna deactivated her gravity manipulation as the Condor falls, Luna started breathing rapidly when she looked at her hands and at the Condor.
Luna: I can do this... I can do this [close her eyes] [breathe] I can do this. Stork!!! Hang on!!!
Stork: [eyes widen] Luna no!!!!!
Luna touched the Condor as she tries to channel her gravity manipulation into the Condor, she was breathing in and out until all she could hear was Stork echoing voice calling out for her. Outside of the Condor, the Storm Hawks watch in horror as the Condor falls into the depths, of the Wastelands.
Piper: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!!!!!!!
Ravess: Ahahaahahahahaha!!!!
Mags: Piper, where's Luna?
Piper: She... She was in the Condor... W-With Stork
Mags: [eye widen] Luna... [glares] Tch... RAVESS!!!!!!!
Mags drove his Skimmer at Ravess and clashed his crystal energy pistols towards Ravess bow while glaring at him.
Mags: I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY!!! BECAUSE YOU NOT ONLY YOU GOT RID OF OUR FRIEND!!!! YOU KILLED LUNA!!!!!
Ravess: [eyes widen] What?
Mags: Good luck telling the Dark Ace that Luna is-
[Horn Blare]
They all looked down to see the Condor floating in midair as perfectly well and good condition. Making everyone smile but mostly Mags when she saw inside the Bridge Luna standing up with a smile on her face an no gloves, as soon as she put her fingers together. The Condor stopped floating for a second until Stork activated the engine and the Condor was flying.
Ravess: That's not right. Those leeches should be absorbing power!
Mags: I guess Luna finally mastered her gravity powers. Too bad for you
Luna slipped her gloves on and started blasting at the talons with the canons one by one.
Ravess: Augh!!
Stork: Oh yeah, Luna dear. Blast those Cyclonians
Luna: [grin] Will do, captain
Luna kept blasting at the Talons while Aerrow flew next to Piper.
Aerrow: Piper! I mean... Hey
Piper: We'll I just came back for some stuff and Uh... Look out!!
Piper and Aerrow avoided Ravess as they see Mags following after her, they both chased after Ravess in Amazonia, until Mags caught up to Ravess and was up ahead. He took this opportunity to try to shoot down Ravess when he saw that she got Finn's energy crossbow and pulled the trigger, he was expecting the arrow to launch only for it to blow Ravess up in the air until a Talon caught her.
Aerrow: Nice shot
Mags: I guess that crystal really blow her away, hahahaha
They both stopped at the edge as the Talon flew past them and Ravess looking mad.
Ravess: Next time Storm Hawks, you won't be so lucky! And I will snatch that little blue headed brat!!
Aerrow: Luck has nothing to do with it, Ravess!!
Mags: Just your poor taste in music
Aerrow: Mags
Mags: What? She insulted Luna, it's only fair I insult her
Aerrow: Good point. Say, since her Skimmer is left behind, why don't we scrap it for parts for Luna Skimmer
Mags: Yeah, we should
As promised, they scrapped it and brought it to the Condor where Junko scraped the good parts and saved them next to Luna's unfinished skimmer. When they got to the bridge, Luna stood there with a smile and before anyone could say anything. Stork pulled her into a hug along with Finn, while Luna struggled to break free.
Finn: Oh Luna, my sweet sweet adorable Luna. Never leave us again, ever
Stork: I can't die without you next to me!!
Luna: Okay okay, enough smothering me already
Piper: Well
Aerrow: You know Piper, you could always stick around... I mean, someone has to make sure Finn doesn't break your Berry Blitz record
Piper: You'd never hear the end of it if he did
Aerrow: It'd be like doing us a favor
Piper:... Okay, I'll stay
Junko: Haha, I love you guys [hugs Piper and Aerrow]
Piper: I gotta say, not only did we kick some Cyclonian tail, you guys really showed some them smarts
Finn/Junko: We did?
Piper: Duh! You took care of the Cyclonians. And Stork, you launched Luna to the leeches so she could toss them overboard just in time!
Mags: And~ Luna mastered her gravity manipulation skills, now she can make the Condor float! It's a win win!
Luna: [yawn] Well, I'm going to take a nap. See ya
Aerrow: Wait, Luna. I have to ask, when you put the maps away, did you happen to spot a scroll?
Luna looked at Aerrow while the others looked at each other waiting for Luna to respond, when she opened her mouth and spoke.
Luna: No, didn't see any. Why?
Aerrow: Just, making sure you did your duties
Luna: Okay? Is that all?
Aerrow: Yep, you're dismissed
Luna left the Bridge while the Storm Hawks are left confused, if Luna didn't see the scroll then where is it?
Aerrow: I don't understand, where could've it gone?
Mags: Who knows, but we better find it quickly, before she does
Luna sat on her hammock as she looked down at her desk and opened the drawer, she went through her things until she pulled up a hidden drawer and took out a scroll. She examined the details of it, and noticed the zodiac symbols around the edge of the scroll when suddenly her head began to hurt.
... A good marriage...
Luna: Ngh... What's happening?... Gyah!!!
... It's something you make, and you have to keep on making it...
... Someday when I'm sixteen, I'll be happy to be married to you...
Luna: Ngh...
... MARIETTA!!!...
Luna: GYAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
[THUD]
[Knock Knock]
???: Luna?! Hey can you hear me?! Luna!!??
The door was pried open as the Storm Hawks rushed inside to see Luna laying on the floor unconscious, but what really terrified them was the scroll was next to Luna with the seal removed. Aerrow slowly approached the scroll as he unraveled it, only to sigh of relief to see that Luna didn't signed it.
Mags: But how did it get into Luna's room?
Aerrow: Two options, either Luna lied and was curious about it, or two... The Dark Ace intended for Luna to find this and sent a Talon for her to find the scroll and place it in her room without being detected
