I was chillin outside the Condor playing my guitar as I play a few tunes, after I was done I stretched my arms and got up when all of the sudden I started floating in midair. I started to panic and float around when I noticed I was floating away from the Condor, I grabbed my crystal energy whip and got ahold of the railing as I held on tight.
Luna: HELP!!!!!!
Mags P.O.V
I was working on organizing my essential supplies for my first aid kit I was going to give to Luna, for whenever she has to go gather supplies on her own. I was enjoying listening to the music when Finn interrupted it by changing the music to rock, I mean I don't hate it but he always changes it halfway and it annoying.
Finn: That's better
He was just pretending to be playing a guitar until Piper changed it, once again Finn changed it and they both got into an argument.
Piper: Excuse me. That was my favorite song
Finn: Why would you want to listen to that stuff when you can have the song stylings of Finn instead?
Mags: Not everyone has the same taste of music, Finn
Finn: Well how come none of you complain about her playing the guitar
Aerrow: She plays it well, and loves all music except for classic
Piper: Besides, I'd rather eat nails, which is exactly what that sounds like on a chalkboard
Finn and Piper kept changing the song back and forth between song, while I decide to go check on Luna only to find her missing.
Mags: Huh? Where's Luna?
Piper: Please stop!
Finn: You know, what you need is a lesson in cool Piper, and this is where it's at!
Piper: I definitely do not need to learn how to be "cool" from you. Besides, it's my turn!
Finn: Whatever!
Mags: Uh guys... Ugh, Nevermind I'll go find her
I left the deck and went searching for Luna in her room but no signs of her anywhere, I checked the infirmary, the kitchen, and the bay but couldn't find her anywhere. I walked back to the deck only to see Piper and Finn arguing again.
Piper: You are so childish, Finn! You never respect anyone else, and, to top it off, your music grates on my nerves and I can't take it anymore!
Piper threw Finn record across the room, but we didn't hear a shatter, instead we heard a familiar voice that made me grit my teeth.
???: Problem with your record player?
Piper: Heh, Heh, Uhm... Starling, what are you doing here?
Mags: Yeah, what are you doing here?
Starling: I'm on a mission, and I need some help
Stork: Umm guys... Why is my right-hand woman floating in the air outside of the Condor? And when did she started floating?
[Silence]
Storm Hawks: LUNA!!!!!!
Everyone rushed outside to see Luna floating in midair while she had her whip out, I was in sheer panic when I saw her floating once more. Why so sudden that she is now floating?! And this time the longest time!?
Luna: Guys!!! HELP!!!!!
Aerrow: Hang on, we'll pull you in!!
Everyone got a hold of the whip as we pulled Luna, but because of the wind and speed, Luna hands were slipping and she suddenly let go of the end of the whip and floated more.
Luna: AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Mags: Luna!!! I'll go after her!!!
Aerrow: Way ahead of you!!
Aerrow and I rushed to the Hangar to go fetch Luna before she floated up into space, we flew our Skimmers and flown after her. It didn't take long to see her as she kept floating up, I reached out to grab her when suddenly another Skimmer appeared and grabbed Luna. It was Starling, she caught Luna and now she was riding next to Aerrow. My face turned red when I saw how chummy she was with Aerrow while they chat and smiled, I flew back to the Condor and entered the Hangar, pretty soon Starling and Aerrow show up while our friends arrived.
Piper: That was amazing, Starling
Starling: Yes, though it was rather surprising to see your rookie float, what was your name?
Mags: Wow Starling, for someone who knows many people you don't recognize her. Do you? Even though we shouted her name
Starling:... Wait... Luna?
Luna: [smile] Hi Starling
Starling: Look at you, you trimmed your hair which makes you look more attractive, and your outfit, suits you well
Luna: Thanks, I- whoa!!
Luna started floating in the air when Aerrow caught her foot and pulled her back down, only for her to float again while Aerrow caught her foot again.
Aerrow: How are you floating, Luna?
Luna: I don't know, this never happens! It only happened when Dark Ace tried to get me when we rescued Dove
Mags: I ran so many tests and so far nothing comes up
Starling: It's her powers
Aerrow/Mags: Huh?
Piper: Her Powers?
Finn: Luna has superpowers?! Awesome!!
Starling: I learned from Luna people back at Terra Celestial that most of them are gifted with gravity manipulation if they were born under the moon, my guess is that Luna is one of the lucky gifted ones. The only way things can float is if she touches an object or herself. Luna, Did you?
Luna: Hmmm... Yeah, when I was stretching my body and arms
Starling: Then that's how it happened, Luna. Try touching the tips of your fingertips together, I'm sure you'll stop floating around
Luna: O-Okay, I'll try
Luna touched her fingertips together when all of the sudden she stopped floating and falls until Finn catches her in his arms.
Finn: Why hello there
Luna: Hello Finn, can you put me down?
Finn: Certainly [puts Luna down]
Stork: OH MY DEAR SWEET RIGHT-HAND WOMAN [hugs Luna] [breathe] I thought I lost you for good, you almost gave me a heart attack
Luna: Oh sorry Stork, I won't do that again, I promise
Starling: Here, you can wears these to keep you from floating [hands Luna some gloves]
Luna: Thanks [puts them on] So~ why are you here?
Starling: I need some help, and I think Aerrow can help me on this mission
Aerrow: Right! Me and my squad can handle-
Starling: Actually, I only need you
Mags: What?! Ahem!! [blushes] I mean... What?
Aerrow: I don't understand
Starling: I'll explain back at the Deck
While Aerrow follows Starling along with Finn, Stork, and Junko. I was grinding my teeth while bending a wrench in half, she only wants Aerrow on this mission!? Why only him?! And why can't she just find someone else!?
Luna: [smile] Heh... Mags's sandwich is filled with peanut butter and jealously~
Piper: Huh, What's with Mags? He looks angry at Starling
Luna: He jealous~ of her being close to Aerrow
Piper: Really
[Luna and Piper giggles]
Mags: Do you both want to end up in the infirmary together?
Luna/Piper: Nope
Mags: That's what I thought, c'mon
Luna's P.O.V
I followed Mags and Piper as Starling had a few words with Aerrow while I went to my station and stood next to Stork, he patted my head while I smiled and chuckled. I looked back at Mags and saw him leaning against the wall and glaring at Starling, he tries to hide it but it was so obvious that he was jealous.
Starling: This is a dangerous mission. You're the only one I know who might be interested
Piper: Do you need any maps or charts? Because I can plot-
Starling: Aerrow only
Aerrow: Sorry Starling, but I'm not leaving my team behind. Besides, I don't go anywhere without Radarr or Mags, I rely on both of them
Mags: [blushes] Y-Yeah, sure... Whatevs
Luna: [giggles] [whispers] Jealousy~
Mags: [whispers] Luna, zip it
Luna: Heh Heh
Starling: Success depends on a low profile. If I could go alone I would, but I need one more
Mags: [mutters] Then go alone
Aerrow:... What do you think guys?
Mags: Aerrow, we're a team, and we stick together on a mission
Luna: It could be fun to go together
Stork: You're better off. I think I'm developing a rash. Probably contagious
Aerrow: Piper?
Piper: Whatever you want
Aerrow: Luna
Luna: Do I get to go on a supply run on my own next time?
Aerrow: No
Luna: [frown] Team sticks together
Aerrow: Mags? What do you think? I know you and I always stick together, but what do you think?
Mags: Tsk! it's whatever
Aerrow: I know it's not ideal but I promise you I'll be back in one piece
Mags: Aerrow you said that last week, and yesterday
Luna: Pfft
Mags: I'll agree that you should go-
Aerrow: Sounds good-
Mags: If you agree that you will get and grant something for Luna and I upon your return
Aerrow: O-kay, what is it?
Mags: One, you will get Luna her own Skimmer
I was stunned by Mags offer, I mean my own Skimmer? How did Mags even know I wanted one of my own?
Aerrow: What?
Mags: Luna doesn't have her own Skimmer and I think it's fair that she gets one of her own, that way you don't have to constantly be worried or send one of us to go with her. C'mon Aerrow, you and I know she needs one of her own, and pretty soon we need to rely on Luna that she can handle it by herself, she's not a child
Aerrow:... Fine, what's your terms
Mags: That you come back from your mission in one piece, because if you do end up injured I'll make it even worst
Starling: But you're their medic
Mags: I've had bad days!!
Aerrow: Done. Alright, Radarr and I are in. But the Condor had to stay within reach. If we get in a pinch, I want my team at our side
Starling: Fine. Let's go
Luna: Be careful
Aerrow: Don't worry Luna [ruffles her hair] We'll be careful
Starling: [smile] Keep the gloves on at all cost, when you need to float make sure you take them off [brushes Luna hair] Keep practicing and you're sure to get it right
Luna: I will
Starling: I assume you picked Luna to join the Storm Hawks, Mags
Mags: Yes, I humbly requested Aerrow to let Luna join, as you can see she's "perfectly" in the right place
Starling: Very good, I hope to see excellent performances with Luna training from you [walks away]
Aerrow: Mags. You're in charge, I want you to make sure everyone is ready for when we need you. Piper will be second in charge and stay on tactical alert
Finn: Mags and Piper always get to be in charge. When's it my turn?
Aerrow: Uhm, well Finn... You see, Piper and Mags are very organized and they have experience...
Finn: But Piper just looks at maps and Mags tells Stork where to turn. I can do that
Mags: Hmm... [whispers] Piper, you thinking what I'm thinking
Piper: [whispers] Yep
Aerrow: It's not that simp-
Piper: Finn can be in charge
Aerrow: What?
Finn: Really?
Piper: Yeah
Mags: I agree. How else can he get the experience and Besides, when he realizes how much work it really is, maybe he'll stop asking [smirks]
Aerrow: Okay. Finn in charge
Finn: Saweet
Aerrow walked off but stopped when he stood next to me, and patted my shoulders.
Aerrow: [whispers] Make sure Finn doesn't do anything wrong while I'm gone
Luna: [whispers] Okay
We all watched as Aerrow and Starling take off in the air, while we were left with Finn being in charge. Something tells me this ain't gonna end so well, pretty soon Finn appeared standing straight and walking across from us until he stood and spoke.
Finn: One word; "Bar-b-que." To show you what a great leader I am, we're starting off with a hanger-bay party. So I want the place looking festive. One more thing; all music selections must be approved by me for enjoyment on the Condor [walks away] oh! And also [grabs Luna hand] Luna is officially my Right-Hand Woman [walks off]
Luna: Whoa!!
Stork: This is all your faults [glares at Mags and Piper] I lose my dearly Right-Hand Woman
Mags: Calm down, it's not like you lost your girlfriend
While everyone else was getting everything ready for the Barbecue, I was trying to perfect my gravity manipulation. So far I've been able to make a mug, wrench, and chair float and stop floating. However whenever I make a Skimmer float, I started to feel a bit dizzy for some reason.
Junko: Where d'ya want the grill boss?
Mags: [stop the grill] Wa'chya doing?
Finn: My first order, remember? Party at oh-nineteen hundred
Piper: Yeah, well... That sounds good for morale and all, but. Ahem
Piper: Didn't Aerrow say something about "tactical alert"?
Junko: Oh? That's right!
[crash]
Finn: Bah, we're always on alert. As team leader-
Stork: "Acting" team leader
Finn: As acting team leader, I say we enjoy being on alert for a change. Put the grill there
Junko was about to put the grill where he was suppose to put it, when Piper put her food on the wheel and stopped it.
Mags: Finn, we need to be at the ready. Junko, put the grill away
Finn: Junko, not another step
Junko: My head hurts
Finn: As acting team leader, I say we are having a "high alert" party right now. Piper, Mags, you're on decorations. Junko, fire up the grill. Stork, you're cooking
Stork: That's probably not a good idea
Finn: [throws the spatula to Stork] And don't be cheap on the sauce. If the partying is to be done it will be done in style
Luna: I have a bad feeling about this, Eh, could be worst
Finn: Luna dear, you can try on that cute outfit I left on your room [walks away]
Luna: If it's a dress, can I punch him?
Mags: Permission granted
I walked off to my room to find a blue frilly dress with a white sleeveless blouse with a blue ribbon, blue knees high lace boots and white gloves that reach to my elbows. My eye twitch as I started plotting ways to punch Finn in the face, he hates it when someone punched him on the face so now he's gonna get it. Once I was done changing, as I was walking back to the bay I spotted Stork covered in beans while he walked away from the Hangar.
Luna: Oh Stork, you okay?
Stork: Nope, I've been banished and now I'm covered in beans
Luna: C'mon, I'll fetch you some clean clothes while you wash up
Stork: I thought you were- what are you wearing?
Luna: This is what he wants me to wear, how ironic
Stork: It could be worst, but I can tell you're gonna punch him. Aren't you?
Luna: Yep, even though he doesn't deserve it, he's gonna get it. After you wash up
I followed Stork to his room, as he wash up. I placed some neatly clothes for him, while I waited outside of his room. When he was finished, he walked out all dressed as I smiled and decided to go do my own thing. I cracked my knuckles as I was walking to the deck to find Finn putting a dummy Stork as the pilot, Mags and Piper noticed me and quickly stepped aside as I walked up to Finn.
Finn: There she is my loveable-
[BAM]
Finn: Oww~
Luna: Consider this, as me being banished too, until you finally understand how hard it is being a leader don't come back asking for me or anyone's help. Later, I'll be in Stork room
Mags: She's right, and besides is that really gonna work?
Finn: [stood up] I'm sensing dissent here
Piper: You gonna send us to our room?
Finn: I declare Piper and Mags "banished!" Except, Luna. I'll forgive-
Luna: Nope, because. I quit
Mags: Keep up the good work, Finn
We all walked away, except for Junko. I went into Stork Room where we hang out until Piper and Mags have an idea. But we needed to go get Junko, so we climbed into a the vents to get him, only to find him in his room sucking his thumb while holding his teddy bear.
Stork: Psssst, Junko
Piper: Come with us
Junko followed us as we crawled through the vents, until we heard Finn freaking out while the alarms go off.
Mags: And so it begins
Finn [speakers]: Stork, please, please come back to the bridge!
We decided to mess with Finn so that he'd learn his lesson, so far he was panicking even more.
Finn [speakers]: Junko, buddy! We have a mechanical problem!! Piper, Mags, I promise to be nice!! And from now on, we can listen to your music!! And I promise not to make Luna wear a dress, even though she looks really pretty~!!!
Piper: We're all banished, Finn
Finn [speakers] You're not. I QUIT!! I'm not acting team leader any more!!!
Mags: Okay, we'll think about it
Finn: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! LUNA, IF YOU'RE HEARING THE WORDS I SAY!!! I JUST WANNA SAY THE ONLY REASON WHY I WANTED TO SEE YOU IN A CUTE OUTFIT IS BECAUSE I-
[Thud]
Finn [speakers]: Ow~
[door opens]
Mags: Glad to have you back to normal, Finn
Luna: Heehee... Hm? Incoming! It's Radarr!
We opened the bay doors as Radarr arrived and handed Piper the map, as we head to the bridge desk. Mags unraveled it as we all look.
Piper: This is amazing. It's a complete schematic of the defense network!
Mags: Stork, set course for Bogaton. Oh! And Luna is your Right-Hand Woman again
Stork: Yes! Come my dear
Luna: Yes Captain
Mags: Junko, get ready for an aerial bombardment
[Stork and Junko salute]
Finn: I guess you'll want me cleaning up the hangar
Piper: Hardly
Mags: You may be a lousy leader Finn, but you're our best shot. I need you at the blaster to bull's-eye those towers
Finn: Done and done!
Luna: But before we do that...
I ripped the dress off unveiling my clothes that I had on underneath, I grabbed my jacket and slipped it on while smiling.
Luna: There, now I'm ready
Finn: How long was she wearing that underneath her clothes?
Piper: Remember, Aerrow and Starling are down there
Mags: So don't miss, or else
Finn: [salute]
Mags: Stork, now
Stork: Luna
Luna: You got it
I flipped the lever as we flew high into the sky while Finn shot down their defense canons, I kept an eye out for Aerrow and Starling but I didn't see Starling anywhere.
Luna: Mags, I don't see Starling. What do we do
Mags:... Luna, how you drop some bombs with Junko, say~ explosives
Luna: [grin] Yes sir... Heeheehee [speeds off]
Stork: That was a devil smile, wasn't it
Mags: Yep. Junko, keep those turkey burps of yours dropping
I ran outside the Condor as I tie a rope around my waist, remove my gloves, and clench my fist as I activate my gravity powers to float in midair, high enough to unleash my bombs and glitter bombs mixed together as they blow up the canons.
Luna: Bullseye!! Huh? Hey guys!! Starling back!!
Mags [Com]: Oh~ how nice
Luna: Jealousy doesn't suit you, Mags~
Mags: Want me to untie that rope?
Luna:... No
Mags: That's what I thought. Come back, Luna before I change my mind
I quickly pulled myself back to the Condor, as I deactivated my gravity powers, and rushed to the Hangar to greet Aerrow and Starling only to see Finn cleaning while Mags and Piper watch.
Aerrow: Huh? Is Finn... Cleaning?
Piper: Yep
Aerrow: He went power mad, didn't he
Mags: You have no idea
[Vroom]
[Screech]
Luna: [smile] Starling!
Starling: Nice job taking out those energy cannons
Piper: Oh! Um, thank you. But I owe it all to Mags, he was in charge after all
Starling: Congratulations, you truly are a great leader
Mags: Thanks
Aerrow: I'm glad you got it back
Luna: What is it?
Starling: The shield of my squadron's. Now you know why I couldn't ask the rest of the Storm Hawks to help
Aerrow: Not one of us would have said no
Starling: Of course not. You're the Storm Hawks
Mags: Uh Huh [sips his glass of water]
Aerrow: You're always welcome to join the team
Mags: [spits] [cough] [cough] What?!
Starling: I know
Mags: Well I suppose you might as well get going, right
Starling: Right
Luna: We'll miss you Starling
Starling: You'll do just fine, Luna [caress Luna head] Keep practicing and one day, you'll be a terrific Sky Knight, just like your mother, Marietta
Luna: You know about my mom?
Starling: She was a Sky Knight from Terra Celestial. Leader of the Zodiac, I'm sure they'll help you understand what you're missing about yourself [looks at Mags] You made a great decision recruiting her, take good care and protect her. Both of you
Mags: I will
Aerrow: We both will [wrap his arm around Mags] we're a squad, we take care of each other
We watched as Starling left while Piper waved at her, it didn't take long until Mags was blushing red and swatting Aerrow away while hearing him screaming "ow" repeatedly. I looked down at my hands and thought to myself, could there be more about me that I don't know? I walked with the others back at the Bridge where we set course to our next destination.
Luna: So~ does that mean I'll get my own Skimmer?
Aerrow: Hey, if you want one of your own, you can get one. A promise is a promise
Luna: [smile] Yes!!!! [hugs Aerrow] Thank you thank you thank you~!!!! I'll get started with the sketching!!!!! [hugs Mags] Thank you, Mags
Mags: Anything for our favorite dynamite girl
I ran off to my room as I jump into bed, grab my big notepad and pencil as I started sketching out what I want my Skimmer to look like how I envision it. Radarr came by as I added a few colors to it until it was finally complete.
Luna: What do you think Radarr? Love it?
Radarr: [chirping] [tap his nose]
Luna: Awesome!! This is gonna be the best Skimmer ever!!
No One's P.O.V
After Luna ran out the door to work on her sketches for her Skimmer, everyone turned to Aerrow and smile.
Aerrow: She deserves it
Piper: Totally
Finn: She's gonna look hot next to me on a Skimmer
[Smack]
Finn: Ow!!
Stork: Only one question, who will teach her how to drive?
Everyone turned to Finn with a knowing look on their faces as Finn straighten his hair and looked at his friends.
Finn: What?
Needless to say, Finn wasn't going to enjoy this at all, more surprises her to come about Luna.
