Y/N POV
You were in the ADOR studio, engrossed in your work, when a sudden knock at the door interrupted your thoughts.
You wonder who it was. You weren't expecting anyone to visit you today. Then, a thought appeared in your head. Maybe it was Hanni.
You couldn't help but smile, thinking that it might be Hanni. Memories of the cute moment you two had shared when you carried her to her dorm flashed through your mind.
With an anticipatory grin, you walked over to the door, your heart beating a bit faster at the thought of seeing Hanni.
However, as you swung open the door, your smile slowly faded when you saw Minji standing there. Minji notices your sudden face drop and says.
Minji: "What? Not excited to see me?" she teased, her smirk playing on her lips.
You waved your hands dismissively, trying to hide your disappointment.
Y/N: "No, no, that's not it," you replied, trying to cover up your initial reaction.
Minji's smirk only grew wider as she sensed your unease.
Minji: "Ohhh, were you expecting someone different?" she taunted playfully. "Maybe Hanni..." she added, hitting the nail on the head.
You were taken aback by how easily she had guessed your thoughts. You cleared your throat, trying to regain your composure.
Minji: "Well, her ankle is pretty banged up, so she's going to be taking a rest for a bit," you hear her say. "The trainers told her to stay home and focus on recovering."
You hadn't realized Hanni's injury's seriousness, and a frown crept onto your face.
Y/N: "I see. I hope she gets better soon," you said genuinely, concerned for her well-being. "Anyway, Minji, did you need something? You don't usually come to my studio."
Minji: "It's great that you asked," she replied, her smirk reappearing. "I want you to come visit Hanni."
A slight pause filled the air as you processed what she asked you for. You couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in surprise.
Y/N: "What? No, I'm okay," you replied, instantly denying the offer.
Your relationship should only be producer and idol, and you can't keep breaking it. Even the whole carrying her to her dorm was pushing the boundaries that you and her had set.
Not only that, but it's weird. She is your ex... I don't know... it's just weird, and you can't explain it...
Minji: "Why not? Please, Y/N," Minji pleaded, her eyes pleading with you. She looked at you with her hands clapped together, praying that you would say yes.
Y/N: "No, Minji. I'm okay," you insisted, trying to maintain your resolve.
Minji: "What if Hanni told me she wanted to see you?" Minji asked, a sly grin on her face.
As she said that, it left another pause in the air.
Y/N: "Did she really?" you inquired, a glimmer of hope in your eyes.
Minji: "Yeah!" Minji replied with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
You considered it for a moment. Maybe visiting Hanni wasn't such a bad idea. She was injured, and she wanted to see you...
Back when you two were dating, whenever she was sick or hurt, she would always come to your house, and you would take care of her. You would make her food, and you would be with her to help soothe the pain.
Maybe she wanted that experience again... She had expressed a desire to see you, after all.
After thinking for a bit, you sighed and decided that you'd go.
You: "Fine, I'll go," you relented, making Minji practically jump with excitement.
Minji: "Okay, I'll see you at the dorm soon!" she said enthusiastically before leaving your studio.
You chucked at her response. As you continued working on your music, you wondered why you were doing all this trouble.
Like carrying her to her dorm. Feeling bad and wanting to take care of her when she is hurt. Always having her on your mind...
Was it your brain trying to cling to old memories you had with her? Did you still have feelings for her? You didn't know...
As you finished up your work, you left the ADOR building and headed to the nearby supermarket. You wanted to pick up some of Hanni's favorite snacks and ingredients for a special soup you wanted to make.
After buying all of the food, you texted Minji to let her know you were on your way, and she replied with a cheerful emoji.
With a bag filled with snacks and ingredients in hand, you arrived at Hanni's dorm. You took a deep breath before ringing the doorbell, your nerves tingling with anticipation.

The door swung open, and there stood Hanni, her face a mixture of shock and confusion.
Y/N: "Hey, Hann-," you greeted, your voice warm, but was cut off by Hanni abruptly shut the door in your face.
You were left standing there, baffled by her reaction. Through the closed door, you could hear Hanni's voice, raised in what seemed like a heated conversation with Minji.
Hanni: "Why is Y/N here?!" her voice echoed through the door, filled with surprise and maybe a hint of panic.
Minji: "I don't know, maybe he misses you..." Minji replied nonchalantly.
Hanni: "You planned this, didn't you?" Hanni accused, her voice laced with frustration.
Minji: "Guilty as charged," Minji confessed cheekily.
Hanni: "I'm not ready, Minji! You should have told me!!" Hanni protested as she moved around, presumably getting ready.
Minji: "Where's the fun in that?" Minji responded playfully.
The door finally opened again, revealing Minji with a resigned expression.
Minji: "Sorry about that. Hanni is getting ready," Minji explained, trying to smooth things over.
You walked inside, still slightly bewildered by the whirlwind of emotions you had just heard.
Based on what you heard, it seemed like Minji was trying to play wingman. It looks like she told some little white lies.
Y/N: "It's okay," you replied. "So... did you lie about Hanni wanting me to come? Did she even know?" You asked her.
With the biggest grin on her face, she smiled and said.
Minji: "It's a secret," she said, winking at you.
You set all the groceries and food on to the table and, with Minji's permission, began to prepare making food for Hanni.
As you made food, you heard footsteps walking towards you, and you turned around to see Hanni.
With her black hair flowing down the side of her face. Her beautiful clear skin with her gorgeous eyes stare at you.
Hanni: "Hey, Y/N..." she said, looking adorable as ever. "Sorry for Minji... I know she probably made you come," she said.
Y/N: "No, no, I heard you were injured, so I wanted to help and bring some snacks." You said, twisting the truth just a little.
Hanni: "Snacks..." she said as she looked around. She then walks over to the groceries.
Hanni's eyes lit up as she peered into the bag filled with her favorite treats. A smile across her face as she took in the sight of all the familiar snacks.
Hanni: "Y/N... you remembered all my favorite snacks?" she asked, a hint of pleasant surprise in her voice.
Y/N: "Of course," you replied with a slight, embarrassed grin. Her appreciation made you feel warm inside.
With the snacks and ingredients in hand, you headed into the kitchen, determined to whip up something delicious for Hanni.
Y/N: "How about some homemade soup?" you suggested, looking through her kitchen for the necessary ingredients.
Hanni: "That sounds good, Y/N," she said, her voice softening.
You couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity, as if you had done this countless times before.
As you prepared the soup, Hanni decided to entertain you by selecting a movie for the two of you to watch. It wasn't long before you were both settled on the couch, a bowl of hot soup in your hands, and the movie playing on the screen.
The room was filled with the comforting aroma of homemade soup, and the soft glow of the TV cast a warm ambiance around you.
You couldn't help but glance over at Hanni, who was engrossed in the movie.
Hanni: "You always know how to make the best food, Y/N," she commented, her eyes never leaving the screen.
Y/N: "I'm glad you like it," you replied, your gaze lingering on her.
As the movie continued, you noticed Hanni inching closer to you.
Her shoulder brushed against yours, and you couldn't help but feel a pleasant shiver run down your spine. It was a subtle gesture, but it spoke volumes.
Without thinking, you shifted closer to her, allowing your arms to brush against each other.
Hanni: "It's nice having you here, Y/N..." she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Y/N: "I'm glad I came," you replied, your heart beating as you felt her warmth beside you.
At that moment, the two of you weren't ex-lovers or colleagues; you were simply two people sharing a quiet evening together, finding solace in each other's company.
As the movie climaxed, Hanni shifted even closer, her head resting against your shoulder.
You could feel her breath against your skin, and your heart raced with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
It was a simple gesture, but it sent a rush of emotions through you.
Hanni: "Y/N," she murmured, her voice so quiet that you almost missed it.
Your attention was entirely on her now, your heart pounding in your chest as you waited for her to speak. There was a vulnerability in her voice that tugged at your heartstrings.
Hanni: "I-It's nothing..." she stammered, her words trailing off.
The movie ended, but neither of you moved to turn off the TV.
Instead, you sat there in comfortable silence, savoring the warmth of each other's presence.
Hanni: "Thank you for coming, Y/N," she said at last, her voice filled with genuine gratitude.
Y/N: "Anytime, Hanni," you replied, a soft smile playing on your lips.
You felt happy to be in each other's company simply.
As the night wore on, exhaustion began to take its toll. Hanni's eyes grew heavy, and you could see her struggling to keep them open.
Y/N: "You should get some rest," you suggested gently, not wanting to disturb the peaceful atmosphere.
Hanni: "Yeah," she replied with a soft yawn, her eyelids drooping.
Her eyes began to close as her breath became more heavy. Your eyes also began to close too as you begin go drift off. Sleeping next to each other just like old times.
