[Rui POV]
(Y/N) seems more busy than ever.
When I go over to her house to walk with her to school, her mother always tells me that she's gone off already.
I haven't seen her around the hallways at all. Even Mizuki mentioned how (Y/N) spent most of the lessons reading a thick book.
This behavior doesn't stop there. At practice, she seems to have her head in the clouds. She rarely ever talks to us, unless she's rehearsing her lines.
Today is no different, I'd asked Mizuki if they could figure what's bothering (Y/N).
Maybe the rumors were finally starting to get to her. Nene mentioned how some of her own classmates had been spreading false information about (Y/N).
I want to help her, but how can I if she usually nowhere to be seen?
The rumors started out basic. They were mostly about how she 'cheated', even though she didn't. Yet, they went from harmless rumors to outright lies.
Someone managed to find out more about (Y/N's) personal life, and how she was the daughter of one of the most successful businessmen in Japan. To make things worse, now many believe (Y/N) is capable of buying her teachers in order to automatically give her top scores.
I can't help but wonder if that first year has anything to do with these outrageous claims.
At lunch, we'd all decided to eat near the courtyard, underneath the shaded trees. As expected, (Y/N) was nowhere to be found.
"(Y/N's) starting to worry me..." Nene took a small bite out of her sandwich. Tsukasa worked on putting a picnic blanket down for us to sit on.
"I heard she was busy with University exams and what not." Tsukasa sat down and patted the area next to him.
Nene continued to eat her sandwich while I ate some of Tsukasa food when he wasn't looking.
"Did she mention why? After the school exams, she literally said how much she hates studying. So why would she suddenly go back to it?" I asked Tsukasa. He thought for a minute before shrugging, unsure of what to say.
Nene continued to eat her sandwich, also occasionally stealing some of Tsukasa's strawberries.
Clearing my throat, I looked over at Tsukasa. "I'm going to bring (Y/N) here, any clue on her whereabouts?"
"She's not answering her phone." Nene held her phone in one hand while eating a strawberry on with the other.
"I'm guessing the library, or an empty classroom." Tsukasa's eyes widen, as if he just realized something. "Toya helps out in the library! I can ask him if he's seen her there! If not, then we could ask Shiraishi."
Standing back on my feet, I headed back inside the school building.

The halls were quite empty, most of the students were at the cafeteria or elsewhere. I had a gut feeling I'd find (Y/N) in the library, it's like a sacred place for her.
Inside the library, many students were chatting it up while eating. Surprisingly, the librarian payed no mind to it.
Walking around, I found (Y/N) near the corner of the library, hidden behind bookshelves. She seemed to be eating and doing work.
"Hey (Y/N)-Chan~! Why are you over here? Hiding from us?" She flinched a little before looking back at me. "Uhh...I'm a little busy, sorry."
"No worries." I picked up the book in her hand. "Economics..." (Y/N) panicked a bit. She tried to pull the book from my hands, so I placed it on top of a shelf.
It sure is interesting though, (Y/N) learning about economics isn't something she does for amusement. Seems she hasn't been able to face her father yet.
Who am I kidding, I don't think anyone would want to talk with Mr. (L/N). Now imagine having to live with him, poor (Y/N).
"Are the exams something you want or were you forced by your father again?" (Y/N) looked down at her feet. "I made a deal with my dad..." There was a hint of sadness when she said that.
'Ah, so Mr. (L/N) strikes again. Typical of him.'
Lifting (Y/N's) chin up to look at me, I couldn't help but smile. "So what deal did you make with your father? Seems quite unlike him to give you any option."
(Y/N) immediately waved her hands in dismissal. "It's not as bad as it sounds! All I have to do is take the University practice exams-and pass them-for him to let me continue being part of Wonderlands x Showtime!"
'Seems like a rather generous offer, he's up to something.'
"Isn't it suspicious that your father gives you a pretty good deal?" (Y/N) averted her eyes to the side. "Yeah...but I can sense that this might be my only option to prove where my priorities lie at...".
Picking (Y/N) up in my arms, bridal style, I got all her things and left the library.
Her face was flushed in embarrassment as she looked at me. "Rui! Put me down please!"
I couldn't help but smile a bit. "Being cooped up in the library won't help you feel better, so let's go enjoy lunch together~!"
Although (Y/N) was completely flustered, a small smile appeared on her face. Maybe she was just glad she could catch a break from studying for 3 days straight.

When we reached the front of the courtyard, Tsukasa and Nene seemed to be arguing.
"Nene! Stop eating all my strawberries! Most of my food is already gone!" Nene shrugged as she ate another strawberry.
Noticing our arrival, Tsukasa's mood shifted and he waved at us.
I placed down the still blushing (Y/N) on Tsukasa's red and white picnic blanket.
"(Y/N)! So nice for you to join us for lunch!" Tsukasa laughed whilst Nene simply smiled.
We all chatted and continued to eat our lunch.
When Tsukasa wasn't looking, I took some of his food and fed it to (Y/N). It almost seemed like a picnic date between her and I.
A cute smile adorned the very face that I love, her laugh that was contagious, I just can't get enough.
I moved a few strands of her (H/C) hair behind her ear. Even a simple smile from her is enough to make me happy.

[Time Skip to the next day]
I haven't heard a single bad thing about (Y/N), almost as if everyone forgot about all the accusations towards her in a span of a day.
From what Mizuki mentioned, Shiraishi-San had something to do with it.
As per usual, (Y/N) was nowhere to be seen, but at least I have some sort of clue on where she could be.
Making my way towards the library, a group of boys were being kicked out by Aoyagi.
Noticing my presence, he pulled me inside the library.
"Thank goodness I found you Kamishiro-senpai! (Y/N) had an incident with some other students." Taking me back to the area (Y/N) was in yesterday, I was met with a drenched (Y/N). Some girls were helping with drying her up with some towels. An empty bucket of water lied behind her.
Helping her up the floor, I immediately pulled her into a hug. She didn't even look up at me, almost as if she was accepting this situation.
Taking off my grey sweater vest, I draped it around (Y/N's) shoulders.
Still holding her by my side, we made our way to the headmaster's office.

I had messaged Nene and Tsukasa on the situation. Nene had brought spare clothes for (Y/N). Now we all sat outside the office, waiting for (Y/N's) parents to stop arguing with the headmaster.
'At least (Y/N) was dried up and in a fresh uniform.'
The entire time, (Y/N) seemed lost in her thoughts. She did speak but just stared off into space. Nene tried her best to comfort her, but even then, she wouldn't move an inch.
Eventually, the headmaster's door slammed open, nearly hitting Tsukasa, who let out a loud scream.
"Come on (Y/N), we're leaving." Mr. (L/N) harshly grabbed his daughter's hand. Mrs. (L/N) hugged her daughter, a kinder gesture in contrast to her husband's roughness.
We followed after them, with Nene falling a little behind.
"I'm telling you I'm going to sue this school, Harumi."
"Tomoe, let's not take it too far. The kids who did this have already been suspended. We should be considerate and sue their parents."
'Lesson of the day: Don't mess with (Y/N's) parents unless you're willing to go through a lawsuit.'
It's even worse since Mrs. (Y/N) is a lawyer.
When Tsukasa tried to get a word in, he was immediately shushed by the infamous Mr. (L/N).

Arriving outside of the school building, Mr. (L/N) opened the backseat door for (Y/N) to get in, which she did.
Taking a quick breather, (Y/N's) mother acknowledged our existence after being ignored the whole way here. "Thank you for helping out my dear (Y/N)! I'm glad she had some friends to help her out, I appreciate it." She bowed in recognition, before standing up straight.
"Harumi, get in the car, we're late for our meeting. We'll just take (Y/N) to the office with us." Her husband held the door open for her.
"Thank you so very much for being kind to our daughter!" Mrs. (Y/N) hugged us before getting in the car. They drove off to who knows where.
We stood still, trying to process what happened.
"We're not going to talk about how they parked in the middle of the courtyard?" Nene questioned. "Anyways, I have a good clue that Hajime and his group were the once who poured that water into (Y/N)." Nene cleared her throat.
Tsukasa and I nodded in agreement. I'm not the type of person to plan revenge on someone, but I can make an exception for when it comes to (Y/N).
Just you wait Hajime, I'm not letting this side.
