Rio floated for what seemed like an eternity, in an endless black void. The darkness stretched out as far as the eye could see.
There was no noise in the void, no light, nothing.
Rio raised up her arm and saw that her hand and the rest of her body was now translucent. It was like she was a ghost. "(Is this the afterlife?)" Rio thought as she looked around the darkness. If so, then i was a bit boring and dull. There were no angels or demons in sight nor an endless line of souls waiting to be judged by the ruler of the underworld, like regions said.
The lack of light was starting to drive her mad. Rio may have been a tough person, but she was still human at the end of the day. There's only so long she can be in solitude before going insane There seemed to be no sense of time in this place, yet it was clear that she had been drifting, aimlessly for a very long time.
Perhaps this was a fitting punishment for her, who had throw her life away due to her foolishness. Rio curled her lips into a satisfied smile when she recalled the reason of her death. Well, at least she did something good before she died. She hopes that mother safely reunited with her daughter...
Rio floated aimlessly throughout the dark void while while reflecting on her life. Everything have been different had she not mindlessly jumped in the fire. Would she had lived if she just walked away. Maybe. Yet, there was no regret within her heart, nothing. At least she prevent that girl transforming into someone akin to her.
Time flowed like water as Rio curled up in a fetal position as her soul to floated through the void. However....
*Beep*!
"[Candidate No.22 has been identified and located. Beginning the extraction process in five seconds...]"
A cold, robotic voice suddenly rang out the black void, causing Rio to snap out of her state in surprise. Before she continue to think, a white portal appeared in the dark plane. It sucked everything in the dark void, including Rio. She could only, helplessly allow the portal to absorb her. Bring her to an unknown place.....

Rio woke up in a strange pod in a daze. She looked up at the sky, discovering a interstellar scene. There was not only one sun, there were multiple! Yet, it didn't blind Rio. Despite there being sun in the sky, it was night, multiple moons shone, lighting up the sky in a elegant way. Stars stretched across the sky, like tiny gemstones in water. It was so beautiful, it took Rio's breathe away. But, this was not the sky she knew.
Rio got up from the pod, surveying her surroundings. Mystical, vibrant flowers swayed gracefully in the gentle breeze. Colossal trees bearing bewitching fruits loomed above her. Rio stood rooted to the ground, stunned by the surreal sight before her. She struggled to understand just in hell had just happened.
Where was she? Why she here. What is the ethereal place? Who did this??
Thousand of questions and thoughts ran through her mind as she try to makes sense on what happened.
A bright light shone as she was immersed in her thought. By the time she realized, the bright light as already near her! It flashed brightly , blinding her. She closed her eyes to shield them from the brightness.
The bright light started to diminish revealing what it was. Rio slowly opened her, only to almost slip in disbelieve. A creature resembling a fairy fluttered her translucent wings, hovering in front of Rio. The 'fairy' was really cute, with doe-like green eyes and pretty violet hair.. She had a heart-shaped face, big pink lips, cubby cheeks and pale skin. She wore a pale green dress, adorned with delicate white petals. Yet, this 'fairy' was a big as her palm.
"Welcome to the System Space. I'm system No.22, your partner!" A melodic, innocent voice emanated from the fairy, directed at her.
"Um... Your System No.22?" Rio asked dumbfound
"Yes!"
"Did you have other 'partners'?"
"No, you are System No.22's first partner!" The fairy sweetly remarked.
"Is that so... Do all systems come in your shape?"
"Not at all, but isn't my appearance cute?"
After saying so, System No.22 playfully twirled around in the air before lifting her dress and curtsied to Rio.
"Cute," Rio couldn't help but to compliment the strange 'fairy' called, "No.22".
"Host, give me a name. Then the contract will be complete!" Rio did not know what the fairy was talking about. Yet, for some reason she felt a sense of comfort and trust toward this strange creature. She couldn't distrusted the creature. Rio pondered about the fairy's name for a moment
"Then..........Reina."
It meant 'queen' in Spanish." It's a name both modest and exquisite.
"Huh?" System No.22 did not think that the her new host would give her such a beautiful and unusual name.
"Is there something worry" Rio said worryingly. Did she not like it
"No, it perfect!" System No.22-no, Reina gleefully smiled. "Thank you, Host!"
Little Fairy was delighted, the wings on her back fluttering happily.
"The contact is complete! I tell you what this about." Reina giggled, sensing her partner's confusion.
"What you'll be doing is changing people fate. Specifically, wronged villainesses." Rio was once again stunned with Reina's words. Changing people fate's? Isn't that like those transmigration novels she read!? "Wait. So the multi verse is real" A panicked Rio asked.
"Yep, it is! There are infinite worlds out there and some of them were created from novels. " Reina patiently explained. "Your job is to saving the fates of wronged villainesses who's ends are pitiful." Rio couldn't help but to feel excited. She was going to do something like to novels she thought were fantasies.
"I'll be planting you to people who are 'close' with the villainesses." That made Rio confused. "Why am I not the villainess?" If she was going to save them, then was if she not going to be the villainess? That how she saw it. It contradicted the countless reincarnated villainess novels she read.
"Because, you be saving the villainess, not avenging them." She said in a matter-of-fact tone. "You'll have to guide the villainess to peace and make sure the safe for the rest of there lives." Rio nodded as she finally, 'got it'. Rio was about to agree, but recalled the danity, jade-white arm. "Reina, do you have a mirror? I would like to see myself." This time, Reina was the one confuse.
Why? Was the question she wanted to ask, but she did as said. A body-sized mirror appear out of no where, in front of Rio. It shock her for the millionth time today. In front of her wasn't the big, savage woman she was used to see but something complete different. In front of her was a, petite , devastatingly gorgeous young woman. Luscious, long black hair swayed at her calf's; big obsidian black eyes that could pierce into one's soul. A stunning face with big, plump red lips, rosy cheeks and milky-white skin. A sexy, alluring silhouette was visible beneath her white gown.
"Is this...me?" She said with a shake voice. She couldn't believe that this drop-dead beautiful woman was her. "Yes, that you host." She almost cried in joy when she heard that. All her life, she wished to be a small, cute girl and now she is one. She's now superb and she's around 161 cm.
She's perfect.
Not know what her partner was thinking about, Reina continued. "Do you want to start the first world" Rio snapped out of her thought again. "Ahhh. Yeah, let's start." Rio shyly said while rubbing her soft cheek with her finger.
"I will be residing in your spiritual sea while we are in the mission world, Host. Let's enter our first world." A pale green light surround Reina's tiny finger.
And so, the mythical place slowly fades. Rio feels a sudden wave a exhaustion come her, forcing her to closer her eyes. When she wakes up, she be in a new world,
with a new self.......
