"Why do we not have disturbing conversations anymore?" You asked Suna and glanceed at him as you swong back and forth on the swing your were sitting on.
It was the beggining of summer vacations and the Miya twins had been forcing you to hang out at a play ground. Which you found was pretty weird but you went anyways. And of course they both were late as well. Not to anyone's suprise.
"What? You liked them?" Suna asked amused while he watched you swing with mild interest. You noded your head and gave him a smile.
The leaves of the tree towering over you two, casted interesting shadows onto his face and you felt yourself being captured by the scene. He rolled his eyes. "They gave me headaches." He added and looked down at his phone again. You frowned slightly at him. He had been oddly distant again. You couldn't help but wonder if you had done something wrong.
"Um, fuck you I guess." You grumbled and kept looking at him. You wanted to seem annoyed but you just couldn't help but watch the interesting shadows dancing over his face. Suna on the other hand didn't even seem to appreciate. nor even notice your staring. Or your precence in general during that strangely long moment. Too engaged in whatever he was looking at on his phone. And telling by his bored expression, he really didn't want to be there either. Though, you couldn't have been more wrong.
While it seemed to you, that he wasn't intrested in you at all. Rintarou couldn't take his mind of you. While it looked like he was mindlessly scrolling through his phone, not wanting to converse with you at all, he actually wasn't able to focuss on his instagram feed. His mind was racing, which wasn't unusual for him. But it felt odd for some reason. Like all his senses where drawn to you, while his mind told him it was weird. Which, well if you would've known it in exactly that moment, probably was. But you didn't know. You didn't even consider that this guy's feeling capacity was greater than that of a dead. Which, sounds a lot meaner than it actually was. Because, that wasn't true. You've seen a lot of his emotions. Though subtle. You started to read the subtle shifts in his expression or bodylangage in general pretty good.
He had to admit that it creeped him out a bit. Even drove him away again. It kind of scared him that you were able to read him so well only in a spawn of a few months. Not that he didn't laugh or anything. He was amused by lot's of stuff, he actually quiet enjoyes hanging out with people he cares for. But you see past him. Or at least that's what it felt like to him whenever he looked into your eyes for a bit too long. He was most likely overthinking it. At least that's what he told himself.

Minutes of awkward silence followed and still no sign of the twins.
Meanwhile you had your attention on a group of small children playing a game of tag on the patchy lawn right in front of you two.
"You've been oddly quiet." You broke the silence after a while, not bearing this unbearable silence between you two. You glanced at him again.
The shadows casted over his face still made him look even more captive. You found it weird, you've never really noticed his looks before. You knew he was handsome but you never cared about.
"More than usual that is." You added with a snicker and nudged him gently with your elbow. "Yeah? So have you." He remarked flatly, not even looking up at you as you talked to him. You rolled your eyes and clicked your tongue in annoyance. "No I haven't. At least I didn't start avoiding you." You acussed him playfully, but there's still some truth behind it. "Been busy." He shrugged and finally looked up at you. His typicial half smile, half grin on his face. Fainter than usual, but it still looked as good on him. "With what, huh?" You asked and nudged him again. Still a smile on your face but your voice had dropped to a more serious tone.
He figured you could tell that what he offered you as an explenation wasn't exactly the truth
Of course he's been busy before vacations started. Everyone has. At least the students. Teacher's wanted to squeeze everything into the last week before vacation, like every other year before. Added to that he had practice. But, it would've been managable. And he had purposely been avoiding you. "Just, busy." He says with a shrug and turned his attention back to his phone. You didn't expect him to offer you a good explanation, but it still made you feel weirdly... rejected.
Just as you opened your mouth to investigate further into his distant behavior you got interupted by a loud voice. "Suna! L/n!" You hearda Atsumu call out to the two of you from behind you and immediately snapped your head around to look at him. Osamu and him were approaching you on the uneaven path towards the swings. Both of them had a popsicle in each hand. "Sorry that it took so long, we went to get us some popsicles." Osamu explained, a small smile on his face as he offered you one. You nodded slightly. "Thanks." You gave them a grin and ripped the package opem, before enjoying the cold treat.
It wasn't too hot yet, but sitting in the sun for too long, was getting a bit hot still.
"C'mon Rintarou, put yer stupid phone down." Atsumu tomd him with a click of his tongue. He took on the look of dissaproving. The kind Kita always gave.
The only reaction he got, was a slightly annoyed: "Don't call me Rintarou." Though Atsumu wad unfazed and a grin formed on his face. Meanwhile Osamu had taken a seat on the last swing and was slightly swinging back and forth. "Alright, I won't call ya that , Rinnie." Atsumu teased, he was trying to get a reaction out of Suna, who finally put his phone down and looked up at Atsumu. All four of you had your popsicles in your mouths. "Y/n, tell him to shut up." Suna gave you as a command with a hint of amusment in his voice. "I'm not involved here, Rinnie." You told him and earned a laugh from Osamu who's been pretty quiet till then as well.
"Huh? Weird, right Samu?" Atsumu looked at his brother, who nodded in aggrement. "Yeah, cause usually ya can't wait to get involved with Rinne." Osamu's neutral expression turned into a wide, amused smile and he looked at you teasingly. You scoffed and rolled your eyes. But you couldn't help but notice how your face grew a little hot. You scratched the bridge of your nose in attempt to hide it. "Yeah Y/nnnnn." Suna whines and wraps his hand around your arm. He pulled you - or rather your swing with you on it - a tad bit closer to him. He had this sort of ability to look like a sad puppy if he wanted to. Though it never really worked on you, which he knew. He just did that to piss you off, with usually great sucsessa. You pushed him slightly away. But not as rough as you usally did. "Oh piss off. All of you." You hiss and felt him loosen his grip around you and then finally letting go of you. They all snickered at you.
"Why'd ya wanna meet up here anyways?" You asked them and then looked around for a moment. The park was rather big and honestly. When you moved to Hyōgo Prefecture in primary school, you even got lost once because your eight-year-old-self confused the exits and then you were wandering around for an hour.
"No reason." The twins answered your question in unison. Their grins immediately turned innocent, but their eyes had their typical mischivious glint to them.
