Prologue

Murders have been happening too often. The other day, when Anais, Lark, and I were hanging out, I found this broken empty glass bottle with blood on it leads to a trail of blood. And that little trail led to a dead guy that has to be 15. Anais said, "Why does he look so familiar to me?" To be honest, I was just as confused as she was and within two more minutes, police cars and the ambulance came for him.
Speaking of deaths, it's been exactly a year since my cousin Jennessa died. And yet, no one knows who killed her to this very day. All I know is that she was stabbed between her eyes by some psychopath. This crap needs to end. Either way, I'm really tired right now and I have to get to school tomorrow.
