"Leah you've been awfully quiet today," Isabella radioed. It was Q3 in Azerbaijan. Leah wanted to get pole position, but Lewis and Max were making her life hard.

"Do you ever think like animals look at us humans and just think like what the fuck are they doing? Like how we do with them when they do something that an animal would do? Like what is they look at us and see us like doing something and they think to themselves what the hell are these creatures doing?" Leah asked. She'd been thinking about that ever since she saw a groundhog near the side of the track.

"Okay, never mind, stay silent again," Isabella radioed.

"Copy that," Leah laughed as she went around another corner. She was trying her best to go faster and faster, but every time Isabella would tell her she was P1, she would notify her she was P2, and then P3 again. "Lando still P9?"

"P7, you are P1, scratch that P2, Lewis just got the fastest lap. Two minutes remaining," Isabella radioed. Leah saw little water droplets on her visor.  She waited a bit trying to decipher if it was sweat or actual rain. She was not going to pull a George.

"It is raining," Isabella told her.

"Thank you," Leah told her as the flags were waved. The end of Quali for Baku. Leah was disappointed with herself. "What did I get?"

"P3, Max P1, and Lewis P2, great job," Isabella reasoned. Leah nodded to herself as she pulled herself out of her car and waved at the cameras. Not many people were out now if they didn't have an umbrella. Cassidy came over and covered Leah, but she shook her hand.

"Oh come on, you're going to have a cold," Cassidy sighed as she watched Leah take off her helmet and stepped out from under the umbrella, and smiled up at the sky.

"You know I love the rain," Leah reasoned as she walked back toward the umbrella.

"Are you going to interviews today?" Cassidy asked as she walked with her back to the paddock. "I think you should at least go to one." Leah shook her head.

"Just have Amanda find me or if you want me to give the interviewer a piece of my mind send any man my way," Leah encouraged as she ran from the umbrella.

"Leah!" Cassidy yelled as she chased after her. "I swear to god if you get sick I don't want to hear one word from you!" Leah ran into her paddock and shimmied past people as she changed quickly out of her suit. Although she didn't put on new clothes cause she wanted to dance in the rain. Cassidy swung the door open and closed it quickly when she realized Leah was changing. "What are you doing?"

"I'm gonna go dance in the rain, wanna come?" Leah asked as she gave her a big smile.

"Leah, they are going to call you a hippie or a child and you are going to get sick so no," Cassidy shook her head. Leah shrugged and pulled on her hoodie as she rushed for the door. "You are a grown child!" Cassidy yelled after her. Leah laughed as she ran through a few people.

"Leah, where are you doing?" Christian asked as she giggled and ran out into the ran. She spun in a circle and he saw her bare feet. "Leah, where are your shoes?!" He yelled out to her, but the rain was too heavy. All she could hear was it hitting the pavement as she smiled up at the sky.

"What is she doing?" Max asked as he looked out at his teammate. "Is she on drugs?" He laughed. Cassidy came out of Leah's changing room.

"She doesn't have shoes on," Christian told her. Cassidy nodded and held up the shoes she had just grabbed for Leah.

"Yep, got it," Cassidy sighed as she put the umbrella up and ran after Leah as she ran away from Cassidy. She was really running to Mclaren's hospitality since she wanted Lando to dance with her in the ran. A few people passing gave her concerned looks because it did look like Leah was on something, but she was just happy in the rain.

---

Lando was speaking with Zak as Oscar walked into the hospitality. He shook a bit as water droplets fell off his puffer jacket.

"It's raining harder," He shook his hat off. Lando nodded as he looked out the windows. "There is also some security out there chasing someone with umbrellas."  Oscar pointed as two fingers finally stopped in front of Mclaren's windows. Lando leaned forward and laughed.

"Yeah, no, that's my wife," Lando opened the door as Leah waved at him. "Leah!" He yelled and she moved out from under Cassidy's umbrella.

"Please get her out of the ran,

I'm done chasing her!" Cassidy said as she shoved shoes into Leah's hands and walked away. Lando grabbed an umbrella and jogged down the ramp and opened it as he approached her. She smiled at him d waited patiently for him.

"Love, what are you doing?" He asked as she laughed at him. "Why don't you have shoes on?" Leah looked down at her toes as they sat in a puddle. She smiled and danced around a little causing some water to splash Lando.

"I wanted to dance in the ran," She smiled at him and offered her hand. "Will you dance with me?" Oscar was standing a the door with his phone out as he filmed the interaction.

"So you are telling me you ran all the way down here just to ask me to dance in the rain with you?" Lando laughed at her as she set the shoes down getting them soaked.

"I absolutely did," She nodded and spun in a circle as she put her arms out. Lando sighed as he closed the umbrella and took off his puffer jacket and hat running everything back up to Oscar at the door.

"Mate, what are you doing?" Oscar laughed as Lando set his clothes inside to keep them dry.

"My wife asked me to dance in the ran," He smiled at the camera and gestured to her as she spun around by herself. "You always oblige the woman you love, take notes." He told Oscar as he jogged back to her. "I'm only dancing for a little while because you are going to get sick." Leah just laughed as he took her hand and spun her around. She smiled and pulled him to her as she kissed him. Lando shook his head at her.

"Okay," She smiled and grabbed his hand as he rushed them back toward Mclaren's hospitality. When he got into the building he was met with Charlotte who gave them both towels.

"You both are children, I swear," She sighed. Leah smiled at her and wrapped herself in a towel.

"Oh come on, you can't say I'm a child until you dance in the rain," Leah pointed out as she wiped the water from her face. "I also am childish, I know."

"Yeah, I thought maybe you were the more mature one, but I come to realize that is not true," Oscar laughed as he slid his phone into his pocket.

"Oh no she still is, she just lets her childishness slip through the cracks a little," Lando laughed as he wrapped her in his towel as well as he shook his head hitting her with the water droplets.

"You both are cute, but now get warm, I don't want either yoof you to get sick," Charlotte said as she waved them back to Landos' private driver room. Leah laughed a little.

"I think you would love for me to get sick," Leah added. Lando shoved her as he laughed. "I was just saying."

"Get in my room," Lando shut the door behind him as he searched his bags for spar clothes for himself and her. She laughed as she pulled her soaked hoodie off and put it on the towel as she changed into his warm clothes. "I'm not going to get blamed if you have a cold after this."

"Thank you for dancing in the rain with me," Leah smiled at him as she moved toward him. He was sitting on his chair as he rubbed a towel over his wet hair. He pulled it down and smiled at her.

"Well I couldn't say no, you ran all this way barefoot for me," Lanod laughed at her. She smiled and kissed him softly as she tugged on his hair. He leaned back and gave her a hard look as his eyes slid to the door. Leah laughed and let her hand fall from his hair as she pushed off his thighs to go grab her wet clothes. that could wait until they got back to the hotel.
