"Whoa, no way!" Ruby freaked out when she heard the news from Qrow. "I get to be an aunt!"

"Actually, Ruby, you would be a cousin," Oscar corrected.

"That's great news," Tai was there too, they were all at his house in Patch.

Caiden, who was now 8, was trying to launch a cookie into a glass of milk using a makeshift catapult...lately he'd developed an...inventive streak.

He didn't care that much about the news, but he nodded politely when they asked him if it was exciting.

"But will you be okay?" Tai asked.

He 'd not lost his habit of suspecting Qrow's semblance was behind bad things in all this time. Some people were just set in their ways. Tai might have been a little superstitious or he'd just lost too many people and was soured on luck.

Ruby gave him a plaintive look. She knew not to say this to Qrow.

"I guses so," Qrow didn't sound convinced. "Winter is taking her time off now. I guess Marrow is going to step in. Raven thinks there could be a few people in the Happy Huntresses who might be able to be trained in to help. Robyn has them all split into divisions anyway, so there's some leadership...better than old Argus staff, most of them were sheep."

"They worked for Cordovin, I'm not surprised," Oscar was just a little salty about that. "But this is crazy, so many people at the same time."

"It's like it's in season," Tai said.

They made a grossed out face at him.

"I know Weiss will be so ecstatic, can you put me on the call when you tell her?" Ruby pleaded.

"I suppose," Qrow said. "If Winter hasn't already told her, hang on," he covered the  screen and yelled something.

Winter must have said yes because Qrow switched the call to a three way one.

Winter then joined them.

She was home right now, so her hair was down and she was dressed casually, which always made her look so much more relaxed that people acted different around her when she did.

"Hey," Oscar said. "Congratulations!"

"Thank you," Winter said. "I hope Weiss can contain herself...or my mother."

Weiss picked up.

She looked a little tired.

"Are you okay?" Oscar asekd.

"Oh...yeah, just graveyard shift," Weiss said. "That's what they call it here."

"Usually, that means no one is around," Qrow said.

"Usually, but here it means you're looking through areas infested iwth grimm that no one else wanted to explore, Theo's had us cleaning out these tunnels for days," Weiss sighed. "I almost wish Blake and Sun had stuck around. But we've finally got it mostly done, we think. And you know what? We found traces of humans being down here. Someone totally released those things on purpose! Can you believe it? It looks like we might have our answer to how they're doing it, you remember that Victoria has machines that drew grimm to her lair?"

"I remember that," Winter said darkly.

Ruby hadn't, but she winced now.

"Well she just forgot to mention that she sold some of those on the black market." Weiss gestured in annoyance. "She just told us today that it came to her memory. She says it's been ages since she sold any but there could still be out there that are working. If they got replicated, who knows what could be going around. It explains some things."

"Not really the Mind grimm, I would think," Winter said. "Not only that, at least. Something else must be involved."

"Well, remember how you thought it was magic?" Weiss said. "Turns out Victoria's creepy science is just as bad as magic. I think I see why Shine and Waly never liked it. Anyway, Theo is going to try to get one of those things on the black market so he can find out who's selling them, Vic might be able to do it, she's pretty well known here. We'll let you know when we know anything. It's actually good you called, they were going to let you know anyway...hey Winter, you aren't in your office? What's going on."

Well, now that they had her attention, Winter cleared her throat. "We had news of a happier tenor to give you."

"Oh?" Weiss seemed to take in who was there. "Are Oscar and Ruby getting together?"

"What?" Ruby turned beet red.

While it was really common knowledge that they had a 'thing' as Yang called it, they still didn't call it dating, and in fact, Oscar was cautioned to avoid that until he graduated, just for the sake of propriety.

And he and Ruby both acted like they had no idea what anyone meant when it was brought up.

"It's not anything to do with us," Oscar said hastily, hoping to brush it off.

"No, it's me," Winter thankfully came to his rescue. "I have some exciting news."

"Oh..." Weiss' eyes got huge. "Gon tell me, you're pregnant!"

"How did you guess that?" Qrow asked

"Duh, what else could it be, you're both here," Weiss squealed. "Oh my gosh, I'm going to be an aunt!"

"Why does she get to be an aunt?" Ruby said.

"Because, Ruby, she's already an aunt," Tai sounded tired of explaining this.

"Is that Aunt Weiss?" Caiden looked up. "Hey, Weiss, look at this," he launched a cookie toward the scroll.

"Ah, what is that!?" Weiss jumped.

"He's experimenting with catapults," Ruby said.

"Just like you do with glyphs," Caiden was a big Weiss fan...the feeling was not exactly mutual, though she liked him just fine, she didn't seem to recognize his efforts to impress her by causing chaos while he was around.

"When?" Weiss got back on subject.

"Autumn, some time," Winter said.

"Just like Pyrrha and Nora," Weiss said. "This is so exciting! I can't wait. Wait, will it be a boy or girl?"

"We don't know yet," Winter said. "Too soon."

"If it's a girl, that would be so great," Weiss said. "I could teach her tsuf...if it's a boy, Whitley will be insufferable about it. But I guess that's okay too. Oh wow..."

"What's the word?" Meridian, covered in dust, and not the magic kind, came up to the scroll.

"My sister is going to have a baby," Weiss said.

"Oh really? Qrow, you dog," Meridian said. "And you never said a word before? I get to be an uncle."

"You have to make it legal first, deadshot," Qrow said.

"I'm sure the wedding is before your due date," Meridian could be as blunt about this as anyone else in his kingdom. No euphemisms for them. "So I have plenty of time."

"Oh but you can still come right?" Weiss said.

"As long as it's before a certain time, I think so," Winter said. "But probably I can't use Raven's portals, Shine warned us about that. Though Raven tells me that she did with Yang and nothing seemed to happen."

"Well, it could be she had immunity to the effects because it's her semblance," Tai suggested.

"Yes, so we can't risk it," Winter said.

"Still, I'm so excited, we have to give you a baby shower, oh, we should have yours,  Pyrrha, and Nora's all together," Weiss clapped her hands, handing Meridian the scroll first. "I should make a list of things to get...I don't know anything about babies, but I'll start studying, I so want to babysit."

"Hey, I want to do that too," Ruby said. "Maybe I'm not an aunt but I am a cousin and that's still close."

"Oh please, Ruby, being an aunt is much more responsible than a cousin," Weiss scoffed.

"Yeah, but I'm great with kids," Ruby insisted. "Right Caiden?"

"Sure," Caiden wasn't listening very closely.

"Uh Ruby, just playing with one or two of them isn't the same as watching them," Tai said. "It's a huge responsibility, and when I had Yang, I didn't know anything about kids.  Maybe starting slow would be a good idea."

"Oh dad, I'm sure we'll figure it out," Ruby scoffed. "We survived okay"

Yes...if you didn't count where they'd almost gotten eaten by grimm because Tai wasn't around to stop them.

Winter frowned as if she was having this doubt. "Well Ruby, I'm sure it'll be all right if you prepare first. But of course we intend to do most of the work ourselves."

"I think you'd be a great mom," OScar said. "Both of you--I mean dad for Qrow, but still. I you practically raised people already."

"I've got to call mom," Weiss said.

"I think I should call her," Winter said.

"Oh right...yeah you do that, but then we'll talk," Weiss said. "I'm going to the bookstore right now, not that it's that big, but..."

"You got 9 months," Meridian said.

"8 and a half," Winter corrected.

"Whatever, what's the rush? Shouldn't you be reading books about weddings?" Meridian said.

"Oh please, I've already been doing that," Weiss said. "I've learned some very interesting things."

Qrow frowned at her. "What kind of things?"

"Did you know that in Mistral, a wedding tradition is to exchange colors to symbolize the love of art?" Weiss thankfully had a normal fact to give. "It's actually pretty cool. It could be your favorite colors, or a symbolic color. Like blue means peace, yellow means noble, red mean--"

"Okay," Qrow cut her off. "No need for the lecture."

"We'll see you all here next month, then?" Weiss changed the subject.

That was when the weddding wa siong ot be.

"You bet," Ruby said.

***

And so it was.

Weiss and Meridian had scaled down a bit more than her mother honestly expected.

They chose to have it in the Oasis to make it cooler and have more greenery.

Meridian's friends were playing lively music, and doing odd dances.

Shine and Wally came to visit in time for it, and to congratulate the others on their own news.

Shine almost gave Winter, Pyrrha, and Nora all boxes of books about parenting. Apparently she had heaps of material like this, though she didn't have kids.

Shine and Wally were still planning their wedding, they thought it would happen after the babies arrived, so hopefully the new moms would be able to attend.

"So, no Cinder?" Shine said, when she looked at the guests.

"Well...I didn't think she'd come," Weiss hedged. "And I don't really know her that well...you don't think she'll care do you?"

Shine raise an eyebrow. "I don't know if she'll be offended, but she might care."

Weiss shrugged.

Shine didn't press the issue, she didn't want to ruin Weiss' day.

Kip was flying around trying to avoid his mother as much as he could. He would say hi to her and a few more things but then made up some reason to go somewhere else.

It wasn't that he didn't like to talk to her so much as, if he lingered, she'd begin to grill him or lecture him on safety, so he'd make an exit.

She wasn't invited to the ceremony itself, Weiss would not have done that to her sister, or Raven or Yang.

Vara was around though, with Theo.

"I almost feel like this is one of my own kids," she said. "I mean Meridian is a star student. Weiss is okay."

Winter glared at her.

"Oh relax," Vara said. "Don't get all hormonal on me. I'm just kidding. She's adjusted pretty well to life here. She's even popular in her own way, somehow. I guess the edge of being a rich kid who purposely chose to slum it here had its appeal. Plus she can summon like, 15 grimm at a time now. So you don't frick with that. Do you think she'll do that so she and Mer can fly away? I would so do that if I was her."

"That sounds kinda creepy," Qrow said.

"You would think so." Vara rolled her eyes. "So, how is you approaching paternal responsibility sitting with you? I never thought it would ever happen for you."

Qrow gave her a sideways glance.

"At least not in marriage," Theo said helpfully.

Wtiner glared at him.

"But this is good right?" Theo said. "You beat the odds. You must by psyched."

For Theo this was being supportive.

"I'll be glad when the wait is over," Qrow said.

"7 months to go right?" Vara said. "Look at Pyrrha though, she's already glowing."

Pyrrha did seem excited.

"Well, she's over the worst of the symptoms," Winter said.

"So what's the deal with this ceremony?" Qrow asked. "It's not like the others."

"No, this is Vacuo style," Theo said. "We don't do long weddings, you know. Of course, Weiss wanted to have it big, so we decked this place out and invited all of you to the reception,  I mean, we have some class. But the wedding part is really short. They just say a few things, break a glass, which is really fun, and exchange weapons."

"They do what?" Qrow said.

"Part of some old tradition," Vara explained. "It used to be you would have it made specially for the wedding, like two swords, or bows, or maces, or whatever. But people are pretty poor, so it's just your personal ones used for the wedding itself, you hold each other's weapons and promise to protect each other. In Vacuo, the most important thing to so be tough and to have someone's back if you're close to them. I Think that's where we get it form."

[This bears resemblance to old Viking ceremonies as well as Hebrew and many other ethnic groups with the glass breaking.]

"That's nice," Raven commented. "I missed out on this stuff by never tying the knot. I mostly think ceremonies are stupid, but I like the weapons part. Though I'm not giving someone else my sword."

"Oh come, Raven--" Theo was about to say something inappropriate and Vara kicked him.

"Not right now, babe," she said. "This is a Schnee wedding, I suppose we should  be controlling ourselves just this once, out of respect."

"Oh fine," he pouted.

Raven huffed anyway at them.

Well it all proceeded much the way Vara had outlined and then they partied all night.

Pyrrha, Winter and Nora didn't stay out that long, but Yang and Neptune did , and so did Blake and Sun.

The next day, before they left Vacuo, Theo gave them some more updates on their ongoing quest to take down the pirates and crime ring.

"Vic found a person who was hawking those grimm-attracting devices," he said. "They cost a fortune, but you can trade dust for them instead of lien. That has to be how your pirate friends got it, they snitched dust from you and used it to get one of those. Could have been as soon as you found that fire dust vein, could have been before that, but that would have sealed the deal."

"So who's the rat?" Raven asked.

"We already investigated them," Theo said. "They don't know anything about where it goes to. Robyn helped us figure it out. These illegal shipments tend to get passed through a lot of hands so that it's virtually untraceable for a reason. They know what happens if they get caught. The counsel has outlawed the use of those devices since our little adventure 3 and a half years ago, but of course that's not much of a deterrent here."

"They are outlawed in Mistral too," Raven said. "But clearky that's not stopping them either."

"We traced the sell as far as Mistral," Theo said. "But you might be interested to know," looking at Blake. "That the people who picked it up from there were Faunas."

Blake put her ears back. "That doesn't mean anything," she said. "Faunas and humans are both crooks and honest people, being a faunas doesn't make you a thief."

"Relax, kitty," Theo said. "I'm not anti-faunas, all right? This is Vacuo, we don't care what you're packaging is as long as you're tough. But you know just as well as I do that Faunus can mean the White Fang."

"The White Fang is reformed," Blake said. "We're trying to do things peaceably now."

"You are, but don't even try to tell me there's not still rogue chapters of it that want to do things the violent way," Theo said. "The world is in a very tenuous peace. With Atlas' old territory being open for grabs, we're going to have a hard enough time not starting a civil war, practically. This won't help. If the Faunus radicals try to start up something, now would be a good time for them to topple the scale. I don't like to think about it but other than here, they're probably the most organized group in any kingdom, and they have way more recruits available than the military that's left does. I wouldn't be surprised if some of your Atlas and Vale Faunas joined them after the war with Salem ended. People who lost everything are desperate to blend somewhere"

"I know that," Blake said. "But we've made a lot of progress in Mistral. I won't say it's perfect, and I won't say that the council still doesn't try to push us into a corner, but the people themselves are more willing to work with us now. Things are shifting...we can't lose that progress, it'll set us back 100 years!"

"Yeah, but this isn't my domain," Theo said. "Faunus listen mostly just to other faunas, I hate to say it. If you want to confirm this lead, you'll probably have to do it with your own people. I can give you the name and place we think they sold it out of, for that you're on your own."

"Well, it's like a time again," Sun said. "Only this time it really is Blake and I going after more Faunus who went bad."

Blake gave him a strange look. "Sun, we shouldn't want to have to go after Faunas."

"Well, it's the same as anyone else, if they're bad guys, we bust 'em," Sun shrugged. "I don't take this stuff as personally as you do."

Blake sighed. "But it's hard to blame them if they're just trying to get the power back."

"It's not hard for me," Raven said. "I don't care about Faunus vs Humans politics, Blake. Messing with grimm is insane. No matter who you are. Grimm are our common enemy. That's like making a deal with the devil to get back at your schoolyard bully. And we know how that ends. Don't blame it on them being desperate. We're all desperate. It's a choice."

Blake shook her head. "I guess, but maybe we can persuade them if we din them."

"That didn't work on Adam," Sun promptly put his foot in his mouth.

Blake flinched.

Still he was right. Adam and other radicals in the White Fang would rather die than change their minds about their methods. She couldn't always let that go.

Blake had wished many times that she could claim that Faunas were better than regular humans, that they were more innocent, and less easily corrupted. At one time she'd thought so. That they were promoting peace because they were less violent.

But she'd come to understand, and her mother and father had also told her as much, that the Faunas were only less violent because they were used to being at the bottom and not able to fight back. That once you can fight back, if you've never had to reap the consequences of that before, it's easy to get carried away.

She and Sun went back to the capital.

Gira and Kali were told about it, and Blake showed them the name of the Faunas trader.

Gira said that the guy was well known for being a bit shifty but usually reliable for getting goods, there were many people like that in the Capital, as Qrow had once warned the others about.

"We can look into it," he said. "Maybe's he'd talking to other Faunas about it if they asked."

"I hope you're not taking this too personally dear," Kali looked at Blake carefully. "It's not as if we can supervise everyone. Many faunas have joined our new White Fang, but many more aren't interested in teamwork. They look out only for themselves. Many don't even care how their brethren are treated, it's always been so."

"I know," Blake set her tea down. "It's...frustrating when people don't care as much as you do about what's right."

"Hey, remember in the book when there's just one or two prophets at a time," Sun reminded her. "We're like that. I mean at least the more than two of us."

"He's right I think the people who care tend to be in the minority," Kali said. "After all, you saved the world with less than 30 people. Fate turns on the few, not the many, don't you think?"

"If that's true, what if these few people trading grimm and using them against others turns into a new dark era of mind attacks?" Blake's fear was starting to get the better of her. "We just tried to get out of that, and they'll push us back into it!"

"Blake," Gira said sternly. "We don't know that. Let's not get ahead of ourselves."

"There's someone who could help you," Kali said. "Ilea. She's in Menagerie right now, why not ask her to see if there's anything odd going on there."

"You really think they'd run this through Menagerie?" Blake asked.

"It's all too likely," Gira said. "We're not there to watch it, for one ting, and for the other, no humans are allowed in Menagerie. That means no militia, no police, nothing. Our own security is pretty lax towards ordinary faunas, they're more concerned with keeping humans and rogue White Fang members out."

"But it's so peaceful there," Blake said.

"We're not incapable of crime, Blake," Kali said. "Once you said that, it's true. Or of greed. The world is changing and Menagerie is changing also. Some day we may be more important as a global power, after all, you did help save the world as a representative from Menagerie, that got people's attention. But that also means temptation to try to get ahead in less than scrupulous ways. many of those who left it with us have gone back and then left again, seeking their fortune. I would hate to think any of them would give into such base instincts, but it's not impossible."

"People do this kind of thing for all kinds of reasons, " Sun admitted. "Not everyone who fights grimm is a hero. You remember how people used to bully Jaune and other Faunas at Beacon? It's not any different this time."

"I don't want to ask Illea to get involved if it's dangerous, not without helping her," Blake accepted her fate. "May bewe should sail there...hey, Weiss and Meridian will be on their cruise, it's going to stop here. Maybe we could get on it."

"Isn't there a sooner one?" Sun asked.

"What if we need backup?" Blake said.

"I don'  think they' ll let them in," Gira said

"Maybe not on the island, but the pirates use ships," Blake said. "If it comes to another on the sea fight, a lot of flying glyphs and archery would be really helpful. I don't want to jump on a sea monster again."

"Though it was awesome," Sun said.

[Maybe to him, it as one of the worst fights in the whole show animation wise.]

"What are you talking about?" Gira had never heard this story.

"I'l ;just call Illea right now," Blake hastened to say.

She left the room.

Sun was going to go also, but Kali looked at him meaningfully.

"What?" he said.

"You've definitely had long enough," Gira said. "When are you two going to make things official?"

"Why us?" Sun blanched. "I mean...uh...it's..."

"Surely you're not just toying with our daughter's emotions," Kali frowned and put her own ears back.

"Oh no not like that," Sun said. "I love Blake, but she's...well, she's always so focused on helping people, you know? One thing after another, and now this too. Every time I think about bringing it up, I think, no, she'd just say it's not the right time."

"I think you're wrong about that," Kali said. "Blake is certainly waiting for you to bring it up. And we wouldn't mind you moving it along. I want grandkids."

"Uh Mrs. B, I think that's getting a little ahead of ourselves," Sun reddened and attempted to laugh it off.

"Indeed," Gira gave Kali a look. "I just hope it's not too late to be concerned about being careless in that regard."

"Oh no sir, I totally respect her," Sun said hastily. "Like I said before...nothing to worry about."

"Well, good. I admit after so many years we had wondered..." Kali said.

Sun winced. "Well I won't say it's been easy, but being on the move all the time, it does kind of make dating hard to begin with. Honestly, the most time we get to really be  couple is when the others are having some party. Sometimes I think Blake just puts up with me because I'm a good fighting partner."

"That's silly, she cares about you," Kail insisted. "How can you say such a thing? She just doesn't show it the way other people do. She never has. Sometimes I think that's because we had her in the fray too early. We taught her that protesting and fighting were the most important thing you could do with your time...and that was a lot to put on a little girl. I regret that now."

She looked sad.

"She might have been too young," Gira admitted. "I suppose it's partially our fault that she got mixed up with that Adam fool. And at first, we thought you weren't much better. Maybe not evil, but just as reckless and prone to getting into trouble."

Sun winced.

In reality, Blake was far more likely to get into trouble than he was, but Gira would never admit it.

"But over time we've seen that you two are actually a good team," Kali softened it. "We want you to be happy, both of you. I wouldn't want you to hesitate because of us. Just...don't hurt her. She's been hurt too many times before."

"I would never," Sun protested.

Then he realized that in their way, Kali and Gira were trying to give him their blessing.

Which was good, because he'd not been sure how he'd even breach this subject to them.

Kali seemed to sense the moment was over. She began to gather the tea stuff. "Well, now that that's out of the way, I suppose you'll want to go to Menagerie. You know that Guardians of Hope charity that your friend started? We've taken in a lot more kids off the street, Faunas and humans--which has caused some stir, actually. Many of our Faunas feel we should leave the humans to fend for themselves and take care of their own..mbut the rest of us than them, right now, we felt it was our duty to help both, and to protect orphans, they were so alone and unprepared out there, and all kinds of horrible people walk the streets at night...no we couldn't stand it. We want one of those homes for them."

"That's great," Sun said. "Seriously I wish this was around when I was a kid."

"So do we," Gira said. "And that's why we're thinking of turning our home on Menagerie into a new home for these orphans, a bigger one. It's been repaired for a while now, but we haven't moved anything into it. It would be easy to change it...but one off us would have to sign of on the paperwork, Blake is on the deed just like we are, we always intended to leave it to her...and I wouldn't want to sign it away without her permission, but if she likes the idea, you could start the process when you visit."

"Oh sure she'd love it," Sun said.

"There's more," Kali said. "We've been thinking about that humans and Faunus thing...it would be nice if we stopped trying to shut each other out so much. We'd like to build more than one halfway house, as it were. And maybe expand a little, not just the orphans left by the fall of Atlas, but ones that were on the streets already...of course they will be different, many of those are thieves, but your friend Emerlad turned out well...they could all be given a second chance. But we'd need more locations for that. Some of them could go to Menagerie, but humans...well we might change that eventually, but right now, they'd need their own place."

"There is one in Argus, but it's full," Sun said. "We're trying, and more people sign up to help all the time, but..."

"Do you know anyone who might have available property?" Gira asked.

Sun rubbed his head. "I could ask around...maybe Raven would know someone."

"We'll be willing to help with the cost ourselves," Kali said.

"We can ask," Sun said.

Emerald would approve the idea he knew.

Blake liked the idea also.

"I don't need that house," she said. "I can live anywhere now. It's too big for me anyway. I'm sure we can make it into a good shelter. And that's good...especially if we hit a dead end with this investigation, our trip won't be a waste of time. Illea told me she doesn't know of anything going on, but she'll try getting a lead by the time we arrive. A lot of White Fang still trust ther more...others don't."

"But using grimm?" Sun made a face. "Who could justify that?"

"Well, Beacon did do that..." Blake said.

"Maybe, but with mind girm?" Sun protested.

"Whatever...we can get on the same ship as Weiss and Meridian, I checked," Blake said. "You feel like another voyage?"

"Oh sure, another journey to the East," Sun joked.

***

The cruise reached them about a month later.

Weiss and Meridian had been on it for a while and taking the chance to visit new places, they hadn't ever really gotten to enjoy tourism before.

Weiss had done more shopping than strictly necessary, but she was enjoying herself.

Meridian had made new friends everywhere with ease and showed Sun a list of new numbers in his scroll.

"Some of them are right down decent blokes," he said. "We should work with them."

"Sick," Sun said, he meant "good".

"It's been all play and no work so far," Weiss told Blake. "I'm actually looking forward a little to helping you with this job."

"Well, it'll be a while before we get to Menagerie," Blake said. "And so far Illea hasn't gotten much info, but I'm hoping our luck will change when we get there...these things seems to find us."

Weiss wondered how well she and Blake would get along...they still had the hardest time seeing eye to eye out of any of team RWBY, not that they really disagreed, but...personality wise.

But Blake perhaps had regretted some of the things she'd said to Weiss, because she made an effort not to rib her at all while on the voyage.

Perhaps it was also that Blake had seen her in Vacuo and seen how her social circle and her way of life had change so dramatically that she couldn't have recognized her as the old snooty rich girl of before. Weiss really had put her old life behind, and she didn't even seem to mind. She couldn't really have been as spoiled deep down as Blake thought.

In fact, Blake was embarrassed for what she'd accused Weiss of early on, not knowing her story. And that made her meek.

Weiss, for her part, made no efforts to pick a fight, so time passed peaceably, and no sea monsters attacked them.

Things went so quiet that Sun decided to liven it up.

Weiss was enlisted to fetch Blake form her cabin.

"Hey, do you have any nice outfits?" seh asked, opening Blake's suitcase.

"Don't touch my stuff!" Blake didn't like people going through her things--she had no siblings so she wasn't used to it. [You know you do it.]

"I'm just looking for something that's not a combat outfit," Weiss said. "There's something fancy going on in the hall tonight."

"I'm not sure I feel like a party or event," Blake had travel blues and wanted to arrive more than anything else.

"That why you shod go, to stop feeling so listless," Weiss said primly. "Come on, this is like that school dance all over again... I'm sure Sun would feel better if you went."

In that past that might not have worked, but it was more effective now.

"I guess," Blake stood up reluctantly.

She had packed some fancier clothes in case she and Sun decided to go out for dinner or she had to meet with someone more...what Libby would call 'posh'.
