Note: This is set in the KanoKari verse. So, no Quirks. Also, Izuku is 20 years old in this fic.
Izuku Midoriya, a 2nd year College Student. He's smart, athletic, but quite shy. He's quite popular amongst the female students due to his cute face and jacked body.
But even so, Izuku didn't take advantage of this, and is just focus on studying and hanging out with his friends.
One such friend is Kazuya Kinoshita.
He's 21 years old. Normal looking and doesn't stand out. If you compare him to Izuku, there's no way in hell that these two are close.
But the reality is, they are friends. Close friends in fact.
"Yo buddy!!" Kazuya smiled at Izuku. "Do you have any classes left?"
Izuku shook his head. "No, my last class for the day just ended 10 minutes ago. So, I'm free right now."
Kazuya smirked as he heard this. Izuku is one of Kazuya's closest friends. He was there when Kazuya was having a breakdown over breaking up with his ex. He was there to support him when he was finding his groove.
Izuku is important to him. And that's why, he wants to make sure that Izuku meets someone that can make him happy. And he knows one person that can do that.
"Can you accompany me today? I'm meeting up with Ruka." Kazuya said, trying to sound normal. But, he's just executing his plan.
"Sure." Izuku happily replied. He didn't questioned why he needs to accompany him, as he has faith in Kazuya that it has no malicious intent.
As for Kazuya, he's glad that Izuku is a kind person. But he's so gullible, that he's afraid someone will take advantage of it.
But for now, he has to follow his plan.
"So, where will we meet Ruka?" Izuku asked, as the two started to walk.
"A cafe that Ruka found recently, where we can hang out. It has WiFi and the seats are comfortable. You'll like it once you see it." Kazuya happily replied. Even if he has a plan to execute, he does want Izuku to find this cafe and hang out with him and the boys.
Izuku smiled at Kazuya's reply. He's been with him through thick and thin. So, he's happy whenever he spends time with him.
Soon, the two boys went to the cafe Kazuya was talking about, and Izuku was glad that he trusted Kazuya. It wasn't any ordinary cafe, but it was a cat cafe.
Izuku likes animal, but he has a certain fondness with cats. He gained an appreciation for cats during his highschool days.
"Kazuya, I wasn't expecting that you're a cat guy." Izuku said in astonishment. But, he was happy that Kazuya knows this place.
"Well, Ruka loves cats surprisingly. But I have no problems with them. So, it's a win-win for me." Kazuya replied with a smug face.
Izuku wanted to mock him for it, but he let it slide. He felt that Kazuya deserves to brag about it, just for today.
"Shall we enter?" Kazuya asked, in which Izuku nodded in response.
As they enter, Izuku was shocked to see someone sitting besides Ruka.
"Ohh, Kazuya!! You brought Izuku too??" A girl with a ribbon on her head said. She has short hair and blue eyes.
This girl is Ruka Sarashina, and she's Kazuya's girlfriend.
"Hey Ruka!! And yes, I brought Izuku with me." Kazuya replied, as Ruka suddenly rushed to hug him. He then saw someone else. "Oh, you also brought Mizuhara too???"
Izuku was sweating nervously, as in his sight was Chizuru Mizuhara.
"Hello Kazuya. Ruka invited me here, but I wasn't expecting you to come as well." Chizuru replied, she then looked at Izuku. A small blush formed, but she composed herself and continued to talk. "I also didn't expect for you to come here, Midoriya-san."
Izuku didn't utter a word, as he only waved at her. He was too nervous to talk.
This is because Chizuru is a rental girlfriend, and he just so happens to rent her a lot of times.
"Hey buddy, have a seat. We'll follow you." Kazuya said, encouraging Izuku to sit besides Chizuru.
All Izuku could do was to do what Kazuya said and sat next to Chizuru.
"Okay, you two better wait here. I'm heading to the counter." Kazuya said, then looked at Ruka. "Let's go Ruka."
Ruka smiles, and accompanies him, leaving Izuku and Chizuru alone.
Luckily for them, the cafe only has a few customers. But there's a caveat...
All of them are couples.
"Why did Kazuya leave me!! I know he's the one I should thank because he was the one who introduce me to Chizuru. But, why is he doing this???" Izuku thought, as he's too nervous to talk right now. Chizuru is beautiful, and all the boys look at her with lust in their eyes.
She's also talented, as she's an aspiring actress. She is the ideal girl.
"But she was once Kazuya's rental girlfriend. And I know he is the reason why I met Mizuhara-san. But, do I even deserve this? I don't think I'm fit to love someone, especially with what happened to Uraraka..." Izuku has a sad expression. Truth be told, he had a girlfriend before. Her name is Ochako Uraraka. She was a sweet girl, and had a crush on Izuku during high school.
The two dated for 2 years before they broke up during their highschool graduation.
Well more accurately, he broke up with her once he found out she was making out with a rich business man. He was hurt, and felt like the world hates him.
Thankfully, Kazuya was there to comfort him and supported him as he moved on from Ochako.
"How are you?" Chizuru asked, which snapped Izuku from his thoughts.
"I'm fine. How about you?" Izuku mentally cursed himself, as he wanted to say more. But his shyness stopped him.
What he wanted to say was that Chizuru was so amazing in the film.
Chizuru noticed his expression, so she let out a sigh and held his hand.
"Izuku... Thank you for making that film..." Chizuru said, as her cheeks was redder than a tomato.
You see, Izuku prepared a crowdfunding campaign for Chizuru, so she can star in a movie. With the help of Kazuya and his friends, they successfully manage to make the film.
"If not for that, then my grandma will never see me become an actress. So, thank you." She then leaned her head and rest on Izuku's shoulder. "You know, I always look forward for you to rent me. Kazuya mentioned this to me before that you're a kind person and will always help those in need. But to see it in person was heartwarming, that I always want to see you everyday. But because I'm just a rental girlfriend, I felt I don't deserve you."
Izuku was happy to hear this. He wasn't sure if he meddled too much, but he's happy that Chizuru appreciated the film. He's also happy to hear that she loves his company. But hearing that last sentence hurt him.
"You're a wonderful man that deserves a real girlfriend. And I tried my best to find you a suitable girlfriend. But, my heart always ache whenever I imagine you with someone other than me." Chizuru then gripped his hands tighter, as she tested up a bit. "I was scared, but I'm just a rental girlfriend. So, I asked both Kazuya and Ruka to help me out, and here we are."
Izuku was surprised to find out that this meeting was all planned. But he couldn't reply as Chizuru continues.
"Kazuya always insists that I should go for it, same goes to Ruka. But I'm scared that you might like me because I'm just a rental girlfriend. So, I'm here to tell you my honest feelings." Chizuru then leaned closer and kissed Izuku on his cheeks.
"I have feelings for you. I'm not sure when, or how, but one thing is certain, I don't want to let you go. And I hope you accept me not just to be a rental girlfriend, but as an actual girlfriend."
Izuku wanted to cry. He wanted to just hug her tightly, but he composed himself and gave her a smile.
"Mizuhara-san, you don't have to worry about that because I love you. And that's not because you're a rental girlfriend, but because you're you. You're strong and beautiful. You are talented, and you're pretty much an ideal girlfriend. But I admire your desire to reach your goals far more than anything else. Seeing you work hard, just so you can become an actress is admirable, and I want to help you reach that goal." Izuku then held both of Chizuru's hands. He was blushing right now because he was doing it in public, but he threw that thought out of the window. What matters right now is the girl right in front of him. The girl that he loves.
"So, if you don't mind me, than I'm happy to become your boyfriend."
Chizuru suddenly hugged him, as she was happy that he reciprocated her feelings.
But soon, they blushed as people suddenly clapping their hands. They were in a cafe after all.
And the catalyst? Kazuya and Ruka who finally arrived.
"Congratulations~!!" Ruka happily said, as she hugged both Izuku and Chizuru, who still hasn't recovered.
"Hey Ruka, give the two lovebirds some breathing room. It looks like they're still not used to this." Kazuya said, as he sat in front of Izuku. "Don't worry, we just finished ordering. It's my treat, so we can celebrate this fine occasion."
Izuku and Chizuru finally recovered, and they gave Kazuya and Ruka a warm smile.
"Thank you Kazuya and Ruka for helping me." Chizuru said, as she's still blushing. But, she's happy.
"I'm just here to support a friend, you know." Ruka replied happily, as she's really glad that Izuku and Chizuru finally confessed their feelings for each other.
Kazuya then looked at Izuku and smiled. "Congrats, Izuku."
It was simple, but Izuku understood it. He's happy to have a friend in Kazuya.
Chizuru then lean closer to Izuku's ear.
"You don't have to call me Mizuhara from now on. You can call me Ichinose if you're still not ready to call my last name." Chizuru whispered and smiled at Izuku. She kissed his cheeks again. "And I want to let you know that I'm quitting the rental service. I want to be the best girlfriend you have, and hopefully... We get married and have a kid..."
Izuku blushed at how cute his now girlfriend is. He knew it'll be a rocky road for the both of them, as they're still college students.
But, as long as he has Chizuru, he knew they will overcome any obstacle.
"I'll be in your care from now on, Chizuru." Izuku said, as he lean closer and give her a quick kiss to the lips.
Chizuru was happy at his actions. But she didn't reply. As she gave him the brightest smile she could give to him.
A smile that Izuku swore to protect from now on.

Heyyas!! A new oneshot is up!!!
Yup, I finally did an Izuku X Kanokari character. Yeah, I know some people have mixed feelings about this series. But to be honest, it's a decent series. It's main problem is that it's too slow, but it's a fine series.
I actually been planning to do this one since Chizuru is an interesting character. And I did have a hard time choosing who to make a oneshot. It was either Chizuru or Ruka, but I settled with Chizuru in the end.
And yeah, it's quite short. But I just want to get strait to the point. Don't worry, this won't be the last Izuku X Chizuru.
