Aria was fighting against the Anacondrai warriors while Nya was trying to get ahold of the elemental masters and the ninja. The villagers of Jamanakai village were fleeing while Aria kept the Anacondrai from attacking them.
"Too much for you to handle alone princess," Chen taunted after Aria was thrown into the wall
"Don't underestimate me," Aria glares at him
"You may look scary, but you don't have the confidence to back it up," Chen tells her "your still the abandoned princess. Your mother doesn't want you and the ninja don't need you."
Aria growled and lunged at him. His Anacondrai warriors blocked her before they were thrown aside.
"Too much" Chen mutters to himself
Aria's power suddenly surged and she fell to the ground holding her head.
"Or, just enough," Chen smirks as he walked closer to her "Do you know why I set this up? Why I had you take the tattoo? For this, for your lack of control over your powers. Your mother thinks you a monster, I want to show her what a real monster looks like."
"No!" Aria's wings grow larger and wrap around her as the Anacondrai approach her.
"You won't be able to handle those dark powers for long, those ninja are your friends for now but they won't sick around when you lose control." Chen told her "Face it, we are the ones who you can trust. We will never betray our Lord, for now it is you who betray us."
"I will never betray my family," Aria tells him
"The price to pay for your power is insanity," Chen says "you're already starting to change, it's only a matter of time before you completely lose it, the more power you use the more insanity will grow. Your Sensei Garmadon sees it already, you will too."
Aria's eyes widened and turned back to green "no- Ah!"

All the Elemental masters, with the exception of Aria, arrived at the Samurai X Cave.
"Thank goodness you all got my message" Neuro said once everyone arrived
"Not everyone's here, where's Aria?" Lloyd questions
"Yeah where's my wifey?" Reika asks
"Her mind is not clear, I was unable to get a message to her" Neuro replies
"What do you mean her mind isn't clear?" Lloyd asks worried
"Is she ok?" Reika asks
"Something is blocking her mind" Neuro tried to clarify "I don't know."
"So why were we asked here?" Griffin questions "We should be fighting snakes"
"Because anyone can fight. Only one side can declare victory" Wu replies
"In the time it took you to get here, Chen has taken over the entire Eastern seaboard and is moving inland. With each village destroyed, they grow stronger" Nya informs them
"How are we supposed to stop them?" Gravis asks "Most of us have lost control of our Dragons, not to mention we're outnumbered ten to one"
"Actually, 62.4 to one" Zane calculated
"Look, I'm scared like the rest of you. It may look like we've lost, but it's not over" Lloyd spoke up "When we thought we lost Zane, it nearly tore us apart. But we didn't quit. We let it fuel it. We grew stronger."
"There's hope" Wu agrees "The Corridor of Elders, I know we don't stand much of a chance taking on Chen's entire army at once, but after he's controlled the East, he'll move West tomorrow and have to pass through Echo Canyons. Our best tactical position is to make our stand where it bottlenecks: at the Corridor of Elders, the monuments honoring our ancestors. It's the narrowest channel, but our greatest chance"
"If we can't stop them here, the rest of Ninjago will fall like dominos" Garmadon says
The Ninja head to different locations to recruit the citizens. The Cultists made their way to the Canyons. Chope. Kapau, Zugu, and Eyezor are carrying Chen in the Roto Jet.
Lloyd marks the ground with his Energy "We fight for each other. We fight as one"
Everyone cheers.
"The Ninja" Chen says angrily "Charge!"
The Cultists fall through a hole.
"Trapdoor? That's my signature move. Ugh, destroy them!" Chen shouts
Zane covers the hole with Ice. The Ninja and their allies hold the cultists back. In the sky, Nya, Misako, Wu, and Garmadon fly Destiny's Bounty 2.0, using it to destroy the cultists' vehicles. However, Chen uses the Roto Jet to blast apart the Corridor's walls, allowing his army to start passing through.
"We have to stop them!" Lloyd shouts
"We don't have enough people!" Kai shouts
"We can't hold them all!" Cole shouts
"ARIA" Jay yells
Zane looked at him "I don't think that-"
"WIFEY" Reika screams
Suddenly a bolt of darkness comes from the sky and a being lands with enough force to create a crater, knocking both sides back. Reika shields her eyes as she looks up.
"Well hello Mommy," Reika says with hearts in her eyes
"Hello dear," Aria chuckles
Lloyd comes and stands beside her "and it's times like these I question myself."
"Hm," Reika tilts her head "just admit your a monster fucker too Lloyd."
"I will not!" Lloyd shouts with a blush
"Your in denial," Reika taunts
"That's a river in Egypt dear," Aria says with a smile
Having escaped Chen's camp by riding the swamp rat, "Rodrigo," Pythor arrives at the battle with the Book of Spells. He goes to Lloyd "I have something your father needs to see. You can trust me because if anyone is going to take over this world, I'd rather it be me. Take me to your father, and he can end this once and for all"
"Last time i checked you were hell bent on trying to kill us," Aria crosses her arms
"That's in the past," Pythor waves her off "You can't stay looking like that the rest of your life now can you princess?"
"Uh," Aria looks at Lloyd
"I don't know" Lloyd said unsure
" People will die!" Pythor said angrily "hurry and take me to your father"
"Might as well do it Lloydie," Aria tells him
"..Let's go" Lloyd grabs Pythor and goes on the Bounty's anchor to get up
"Now where were we dear," Reika turns to Aria
"Fighting a war," Aria replies turning Reika's head back to the fighting
"Let's show these noobs how it's done then," Reika smirks
With that the girls take off to join the fight.
"Pythor says he has something that can end this war" Lloyd tells the others
Wu shakes his head "They've crossed the line of no return. No amount of power can stop this now, not even Aria"
"But the might of a true Anacondrai can" Pythor informs them "If the generals Garmadon banished to the Cursed Realm so long ago saw this mockery, they would stop this travesty at once"
"No one comes back from the Cursed Realm" Misako says
Garmadon picks up the book of spells "Unless he that cursed them takes their place. I could unleash the spirits of the Anacondrai Generals"
"If you banish yourself." Pythor says "Magic has its rules, you know."
"We're not cursing you." Lloyd argues "We're not losing you to bring them back."
"If we do nothing, we lose Ninjago" Garmadon tells him
"We don't even know if they'll help" Misako adds
"We do know that the real Anacondrai wanted peace as much as us. It was Chen who started both wars." Garmadon says "I never thought I'd say this, but Pythor is right."
Wu shook his head "I cannot allow this, brother"
"Who are we fooling?" Garmadon questions "There's not enough time for me to make up for the pain I've caused in my life. But if I could save Ninjago..."
"You want my blessing to walk out on us again, fine. But don't expect me to stick around to watch you go. My real family needs me" Lloyd jumps off the Bounty
"Lloyd, wait!" Garmadon shouts as the Bounty gets hit with a missile.
"If this is going to happen, I suggest we do it now" Pythor says "we need Aria to perform the spell, this is her mother's spell book."
"This is Layla's spellbook?" Garmadon asks taking the book "Of course, it would make sense for Clouse to steal the spellbook to use dark spells, that's how he's done it"
Wu goes to the edge of the bounty "Aria!"
She turned her head to look at him
"We need you" Wu tells her
Aria soluted to Reika before flying up to the bounty, landing on the deck.
"What is it?" she asks
"Do you have enough power left to perform a spell?" Wu asks
"I think so" Aria replies
"This is your family's spell book" Garmadon tells her as he hands her he book of spells "Clouse stole it many years ago from your mother."
"I see.." Aria replies as she opened the book "leave it to my mother to have a dark magic complex."
"Do you think you can do it?" Wu asks her
"Well.. I'll do my best" Aria smiles up at them "what does it do?"
"We're.." Garmadon looks at the others before approaching her "We're bringing back the old Anacondrai generals.. by banishing me."
"What?!" Aria takes a step back "No, no no no. I'm not doing it."
"Aria," Garmadon says
"I'm not doing it sensei," Aria shakes her head
"Aria please, this is for the good of Ninjago," Garmadon begs
"And what?" Aria throws down the book
"Aria," Garmadon puts his hands on her shoulder "You will be alright without me."
""No, I won't.." Aria balls her fists "you're.. you were the first person that ever cared for me."
"I know," Garmadon smiles "and that won't stop just because I'm gone. I will always be watching over you, but I need you to watch over Ninjago. Can you do that for me?"
Aria slowly nods before wrapping her arms around him. Garmadon hugs her back with a sad smile.
"thank you" Garmadon says
Aria breathed out and started the spell "Komodo, nicktu, demic tara."
"Misako, will you ever forgive me for the letter?" Garmadon asks
"I already have" Misako replies sadly
Garmadon's eyes tear up "Tell Lloyd I'm sorry"
"You can tell me yourself" Lloyd climbs into the Bounty "I'm sorry too"
"Kenji, severus, toto-demada, cursono, neeboro" everyone gasps when they see the portal "actu, cursono, neeborro."
"I yearned to make the world in my image. I never realized I already had, in you" Garmadon tells Lloyd
"Sono, hokido, bo-rock!" Aria finished the spell
Garmadon screams as he ascends to the portal. As a flash of light subsides, those on the battlefield noticed this and momentarily stop fighting. Everyone is then shocked to see the spirits of Arcturus and his generals arrive at the battle; they condemn Chen's followers to the Cursed Realm.
"Arcturus! What are you doing? W-we're on the same team!" Chen shouts
"You will never be one of us. Because you are a liar, a cheat, and an imposter!" Arcturus shouts
"I can't be cursed! Aah! Save me, Skylor!" Chen shouts as Skylor, now a human again, watches him go in the portal. Everyone cheers.
"All right! Hahaha. Yeah, we did it, guys. We did it" Kai says happily
Misako sees Lloyd frowning "The war is over. It had to be done"
"Thank you, Pythor. You should be rewarded for your courage and bravery." Arcturus tells Pythor "You have made your ancestors proud. Finally."
"Oh, what can I say? Everyone can change" Arcturus makes Pythor back to his normal size. He gasps "That's more like it. Haha!"
"And thank you, Master Lloyd. Because of your friends, you have done what we never could: united the Serpentine and your kind as one. Because of you, the balance is restored. And because of your father, our spirits can be free. You will have our eternal respect as the greatest warriors to ever battle for Ninjago"
Lloyd smiles as the generals go into another realm. The Ninja and Elemental Masters agree to keep in contact, as they go their separate ways after the war's end. The Ninja form a circle around a campfire.
Wu pours tea in Kai's cup "To the Anacondrai, the greatest warriors of their time"
"Because we're proud of those who were here before us to show us the way. Goodbye, Father" Lloyd says sadly as Aria laid her head on his shoulder "I am Lloyd Garmadon, son of Lord Garmadon. Student of Sensei Garmadon. He made me who I am today. He was my father. He was my adversary. But in the end, he was my friend"
Reika took Aria's hand who squeezed it in comfort.
"Because of him, we will live to see tomorrow" Zane continues
"And for every tomorrow, we'll live to honor him" Kai added
"And because of him, we'll be ready for whatever comes next" Jay adds
"Skeletons, snakes, Nindroids, and Anacondrai wannabes. If they can't stop us, what can?" Cole questions
"That's for tomorrow to decide" Lloyd replies "Today, we say goodbye to a legend."
Aria felt a breeze flow through her hair, she lifted her head up to look up at the sky.
"You ok?" Reika asks her
"Yeah.." Aria looks at her "Just have a strange feeling of Deja Vu."
