The next day

Matteo was standing in the basement next to Agatha as she went ahead to get ready for her plan. Matteo just stood there as he watched her and soon felt intense pain. He did a grunt from the pain which soon made Agatha look over at him. " what is it?" She asked. "Hurts.." he said before he clenched his jaw. Agatha rolled her eyes before she snapped and made all the pain disappear. "There. Now go and read that book again. You will get your full powers back. You need them before your depressed sister gets here." She stated before she shooed him away. Matteo just nodded at her before he walked over to the table where the books he read were at.
Right as he grabbed the book on regaining and bringing back powers he soon looked at the book of Sokovia. Matteo deep down tried to get his hands on that book but couldn't. Before he even knew it he was now walking to the dark corner of the room where a chair is. He soon sat down and opened the book. Matteo deep down sighed internally before he looked at the book and started to go ahead and read it. As he was reading the book he then sighed and got up to go over to Agatha. "Mother." He called out to Agatha who was using her magic to read through the darkhold. "What is it?" She asked as she kept her nose into the book. "What am I supposed to be achieving?" He asked before he looked at the book in his hands. "I literally achieved teleportation, and used my abilities to move around things. I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing now." He stated. Agatha sighed before she looked at him.
"Before you died. You used to have super speed. I'm trying to make you gain your speed back. Now go on and go figure it out on your own. I have my own things to be doing before Wanda gets here." She stated before she went back to reading. Matteo just clenched his jaw before he went on and walked back over to the corner he was in. He then sighed and sat down, Matteo soon opened up the book and reread the whole book. As he sat there reading the book again and again he soon sighed angrily before he threw the book. "It's not making any sense!" He blurted out before he slumped against the chair.
Right as he was about to get up he soon felt a pinging throb within his chest along his head. Matteo sat there confused before he felt the pain again. Deep down he knew what was going on, but his controlled self didn't understand so he left it be and just continued to go ahead and do as Agatha says by going to try to get his super speed back. So that what he did while Agatha stood in her corner by her desk reading the darkhold.
As time passed Agatha soon made Matteo stop. "Okay now get ready for the day." She stated as she looked at the controlled 12 year old. "Yes mother" he said before he soon teleported into his room to change for the day. Agatha smirked to herself before she snapped and made herself ready for the day. She then decided that her and Matteo where going to head over to Wanda's place and try to have her boys head over. It was all apart of her plan so that's what she was going to stick too. Right as she made it upstairs she seen Pietro sitting at the dinner table eating cereal and looking at the tv that was on in the living room. "Get back upstairs. I'm having guests over." She stated before she snapped and made his cereal disappear. "Jezz! Okay crazy lady. I won't come down either. You calm your tits!" He said before he soon zoomed up to the attic. Agatha sighed before she snapped and made everything go back to normal as if Pietro was never downstairs in the first place.
"MATTEO!" She yelled for the boy. Right as she did so Matteo teleported right next to her scaring the crap out of her. "Oh my god!.. okay. You ready?" She asked as she looked at Matteo who was wearing a white shirt and jean. "Good. Now wears your mask?" She asked. Matteo soon sighed before he closed his eyes and teleported back in his room and appeared back with his black mask on. "Good boy. Now let's get going to the neighbors house shall we?" She asked as she soon took ahold of Matteo's hand. Matteo nodded as he soon followed alongside her over to the neighbors house where Wanda was currently trying not to have a breakdown in front of her kids.
Right as they made it to the door, Agatha knocked and soon put her act on while Matteo was already forced to act the way he is by Agatha. Matteo soon watched as the door was outlined in red and soon opened. Agatha still had Matteo's hand before she walked inside with him. "Hiya kids!" She said before she walked over and around the couch to see Wanda who was currently on the edge. She then looked down at Matteo who looked up at her confused before he looked over at the twins who looked at their mother concerned.
Matteo soon watched and heard Agatha "hey. How about you guys come over to my place with Matteo and I and give your mom some space." Agatha stated leaving Wanda looking at her shocked. "Oh Agnes! Are you sure?" Wanda asked as she looked at her. "Yes! Anything for you!" Agatha said happily before she looked at the boys who looked at her. "Come on kids lets go! You guys can play with Mattie! You'll all have a blast!" Agatha said while Matteo just nodded and smiled at them. The twins soon looked at their mother who was trying to get them to go with them. "But mom! Who's going to stay with you and take care of you?" Billy asked as he looked at his mother. "I'm fine! Now go with Agnes and Mattie! Go!" Wanda stated as she pushed her kids towards the two of them. "We'll have a blast!" Agatha said as she held onto the twins while she looked at Wanda. "Thank you Agnes!" Wanda said before they all soon started to head off towards the door. "Mom. Do we have to go?" Tommy whined. "Yes! Now go with Agnes!" Wanda said. "Yeah! Come on we'll have fun! I don't bite!" She said before she chuckled.
Matteo soon looked away to roll his eyes, since he knew she did since he was the kid she bit when he was revived from the dead. Matteo soon looked back everyone before he felt himself getting pushed alongside the twins towards the door. "Now come on kids let's give your mother a break!" Agatha stated before they walked out the door. Right when they made it out the door they were now heading towards their home. Deep down Matteo was trying desperately to break free to get the twins out of there since he knew what was coming, and he definitely didn't want any of it to happen.
Right as they all made it into the home Agatha smiled. "Mattie go ahead and turn on the tv while I make you guys some lunch." Agatha stated while she went into the kitchen. Matteo soon nodded at her before he made the twins follow him. Right as the three of the boys sat down on the couch he then turned on Tom and Jerry. "Mattie?" Tommy called out. Matteo looked over at Tommy and soon raised a brow. Tommy looked at Matteo with a scared look which made Matteo look back at the tv. Matteo knew the twins where going to find out about him today so he didn't care about anything, plus he knew his scars were already healed from yesterday since his healing was now back online.
Right as the boys sat there looking at the tv Agatha soon came over with sandwiches for the twins while she looked at Matteo and gave him a nod. Matteo soon nodded before he went ahead and left the room leaving her with the twins. "Where's Mattie going?" Billy asked as he watched Matteo go upstairs when in reality he teleported down in the basement waiting for his que to attack. "Oh Mattie is grounded right now. Hell be able to play in a bit. Now eat up." She said while she seen Tommy eat his food while billy sat the looking at Señor Scratchy.
Agatha smirked a bit before she got up and went ahead to get the bunny. "You want to hold him?" Agatha asked the youngest twin. Billy just nodded his head rapidly. Agatha smiled before she gave Billy Señor Scratchy, billy soon started to smile happily before he pet the bunny while he was deep in thought. Agatha soon realized how Tommy didn't have a care in the world while he watched the tv while billy just continued to be deep in thought. She then smirked before she leaned over "penny for your thoughts?" She asked while she looked at him. "I like it here." Billy said happily before he looked at her.
"That's great! It's it because señor scratchy is a good listener? He helps Mattie out a lot." She said. "No. It's quiet." Billy stated while Tommy looked over at the both of them. "Your quiet Agnes. On the inside." Billy stated which made Agatha look at him before she heard Tommy. "Agnes. Is our mom going to be okay?" He asked. Agatha nodded her head before she put her arms around them "Yes! Yes! Your mom will be okay! Because she's super mom!" Agatha said before she smiled at the two boy who just laughed. Agatha then nodded her head before she got up "now you guys go ahead and go to the basement! I'll have Mattie head down there! He loves to play games with his father down there. I'm sure he would love to teach you guys how to play his games!" Agatha stated as she looked at the boys. "Okay!" Tommy said happily before billy gave Señor Scratchy back to Agatha. "Ok now go on! MATTIE!" She yelled up for him while really Matteo was down in the basement already waiting for the twins to get down there before he pounces on the making them go into the room that's made as a cell.
Right as the twins both made it down the stairs into the basement they soon looked around scared. "Tommy?" Billy asked quietly. "Yeah?" Tommy asked before he walked in front of his twin. "This is scary.." Billy said. "Yeah..." Tommy said before they soon made it past the corner where Matteo was already waiting for them. Right as they walked passed him Matteo was quick to sneak up behind the both of them and use his white wisps to go I to their minds and make them knock out. Matteo soon cached the twins before they fell onto the ground with his magic. The 12 year old soon went ahead and continued to use his wisps to bring the twins into the dark room and tie them up. Right as he was about to leave Tommy woke up. "W-what's going on?" He asked before he looked up to see Matteo looking at him. "W-what are you doing to us?" Tommy asked as he tried to break free from the restraints. "I'm not doing anything to you guys. I'm just doing what I was told." Matteo finally spoke out. Tommy looked at Matteo shocked before he tried to tug at the restraints.
"Yeah yeah. I know. I Can talk. Shocker.. but be good and don't do anything stupid. You'll get hurt if you do." Matteo said before he was about to leave. "Wait!" Tommy blurted out. Matteo sighed before he turned around and looked at him. "Who are you?" Tommy asked in a shaky voice. "Matteo." He said before he soon watched billy wake up. "Go ahead and just don't do anything stupid. Or else you'll get hurt." He said coldly before he went ahead and slammed the door on them and left upstairs to find Agatha. "They in the room?" She asked. "Yes mother." Matteo said before he soon watched as Agatha look over at Wanda's house. "Good. Now go wait downstairs in your corner. Make sure the boys don't hurt themselves." She stated. "Yes mother.." Matteo said as he soon went ahead and went downstairs again. "And Matteo. When Wanda comes just stay hidden until I call out your name or snap at you" She stated. "Yes mother. I understand." He said before he soon went ahead back into the dark basement to wait for Agatha and Wanda. While deep down Matteo was in pain and trying to use his magic to get this spell of of himself.
As Matteo waiting for Agatha to come down into the basement he made the room the twins were in soundproof. He couldn't stand their screams for their mother, it sounded to familiar to him and it pained him. So he sat there in the dark in silence as he looked at the book that was in the corner of the room from him throwing it earlier. Matteo sighed before he used his magic to make the book come to him, he then rolled his eyes and opened the book yet again before he went back to reading yet again. Since he had a bit of time before Agatha came down again but this time with Wanda. Then the fun would begin.
Right as Matteo sat there for who know how long rereading the same pages over and over again. He soon heard the door open. Matteo then looked up from the book before he soon heard a voice. "Tommy?" He heard the distressed voice. "Billy?" He heard the voice again. Before he knew it he heard the doors slamming all around him which made him soon watch Agatha walk past him. He watched as she smirked down at him before she walked along to the woman who was in the middle of the room. "You didn't really think you were the only magical gal in town did you?" Agatha spoke out as she pet señor scratchy. "The names Agatha Harkness. It's lovely to finally meat you!" She said before chuckling and going into her head. Matteo just sat there and watched everything unfold.
As Matteo was watching everything happen he soon watched as Agatha go around the room with the bunny in her grasp talking and taunting Wanda. As he watched Agatha finally come back to where he was at she soon chuckled. "My thoughts aren't available to you toots! They never were!" She said before she placed señor scratchy doing in his cage. "Where are my children." Matteo heard before he knew exactly who it was and deep down he was wondering why he knew that accent. "Oh! That accent sure comes and goes!" Agatha mocked her. "Where are they?!" Wanda asked again. Agatha chuckled "oh your magics no good here." She said which made Matteo's gut turn before he seen Agatha use her purple magic in her hands. The boy was really traumatized by the way she uses her magic. All he could do was just push down his fear before he went ahead and watched Agatha.
Right as Matteo was watching her he soon heard screams which made him jump and close his eyes shut. Since he knew how bad her magic could get when she's angry. So all the boy did was just close everything out of his mind before he went ahead and waiting for her signal for him to finally come out.
Matteo soon listened in when he heard Agatha "Fietro it you will." She said as Agatha soon went over to were Matteo at. He peaked his head out a bit to see them but soon turned away when Wanda was now looking. "Necromancy was a non-starter. Since your real brothers body is blown to bits from the Thanos' compounds attack." Agatha stated. Matteo soon frowned and bit his lip, why does it all sound fresh and painful all to him too when he's not the one getting talked too.
As Matteo heard Agatha soon say a spell he was now listening in. He then looked over to see Agatha with a bug in her hands mind controlling it? "Mind control. Quick and feeble psyche and your good to go." She stated. That's what Matteo knew what happened to him, the boy who was trapped in his own mind and body was being mind controlled by this witch he so called "mother." "Thousands of people under your thumb being controlled while I can only control one." She stated as she soon snapped which Matteo knew that was his cue. So Matteo slowly got up and made his way out from the shadows to look at the woman with red hair. Matteo then seen how she had the bug on her face while she looked at him sadly.
Matteo couldn't look her in the eyes as he stood there sadly and tuned out on Agatha talking to Wanda. As he stood there thoughtless from being mind controlled he soon watched as a big flew passed him and into señor scratchys mouth. Matteo's eyes widened before he looked over at the two and soon clenched his jaw. "Wanda.. I need you to tell me how you did this." Agatha said while looking at Wanda. "I didn't do anything.. I'm not.." Wanda spoke before Agatha soon used her magic to slam Wanda against the room. Matteo jumped by this and soon teared up slightly remembering how he was treated the exact same way. As Matteo sniffled and wiped away his tears he soon seen as Agatha looked over at him. Matteo's eyes widened before she walked over to him and slapped him acrossed his making him fall down to the ground hard. Matteo just whimpered before he sat up and held his face, as he took his hand away from his face he soon noticed how both of his hands were now black yet again.
As Matteo finally stood back up again we watched as Agatha let Wanda go. He then felt himself get grabbed by the arm. "You also need to be apart of this too." She stated before she pushed him towards the door as well. Wanda looked at the two confused before she went ahead of them both knowing this is the only way for her to save her kids from Agatha.
As Matteo was shoved through the door he soon stood there in the apartment looking area before he soon felt the presence of Wanda standing next to him. Matteo didn't want to move but he knew whatever was going to happen it's going to be painful.
As he stood there he noticed a woman in the small apartments kitchen getting things cleaned up while she dished some food for dinner later on. Matteo couldn't help but feel at home. He felt as if he knew the woman but he just couldn't remember. "Mama.." Wanda said which made the boy look at her before he looked at the woman again. He then watched and seen a man walk through the door. "(Irina?)" he heard a man's voice call out. Matteo knew that voice, but he just couldn't remember who it was, along with how he was trapped in his mind. "Papa.." Wanda said. Matteo watched the two adults talk before he seen a boy walk in. "Papa! In English! You said on movie nights is when we learn our English!" The boy said.
Matteo couldn't help but tear up he didn't know why but everything felt so familiar to him and he just wanted answers. "Pietro." Wanda said before she smiled sadly. Matteo then looked up at her before everything clicked. He was Matteo Maximoff. Wanda Maximoff is his sister! His mama! He needed to get out of this mind control and now! He didn't want to be here reliving anything anymore! He knew exactly what's coming and he didn't want to see it again! Matteo just stood there frozen on the outside while Agatha smirked at Matteo knowing full well who he really was now.
"Where is your sister and baby brother?" Oleg asked young Pietro as he was walking over to hang up his fathers coat. "Wanda! Matteo!!" Pietro called out. Agatha smirked and pushed Wanda in for the little scene while Matteo stood there frozen. Agatha then smirked. "Now it's your go." She said before she soon pushed Matteo into the scene as well.
Wanda was already hugging her father while Pietro was looking into the case of movies with their mother looking at them happily. "Where's your brother?" Oleg asked Wanda who just looked around. "Guppy!" Wanda called out which soon had a 3 year old Matteo running towards them. "(Papa!)" he yelled out before he ran and hugged his father happily. "Ah! There's my baby boy!" He said happily before he kissed the boys cheeks making Matteo giggle. "In English Matteo!" Pietro said sassily. "(English is hard! Mama!)" Matteo whined as he soon felt himself get picked up by Irina. "Pietro Matteo is just a baby. He's still learning." Wanda said to Pietro. While the boy rolled his eyes and soon looked into the movies.
Matteo soon smiled happily at his mother before he felt himself get placed down next to Wanda. "Guppy. It's my pick. Where watching our favorite episode." Wanda said to the toddler who looked at her. "Wawnut!" Matteo said happily which made Wanda laugh and smile at him. "Dick Van Dyke again? Always Sitcom sitcom sitcom!" Pietro complained. Matteo just looked at him before he soon sat down on the rug happily waiting. "What is shenanigan again?" Pietro asked as he and Wanda both sat next to Matteo. Matteo then smiled knowing what it is "it's like a pwank!" He spoke out which made Wanda smile. "Yes your right teo!" Irina said happily before she sat down while Oleg sat down next to her. As the episode went on matteo soon started to get up to head towards his mother. But right as he did so the explosion happened which made everything go dark.
Matteo soon got up slowly before he heard Wanda nod Pietro "(MATTEO?!)" "(GUPPY?!)" Matteo then cried out "(BUBBY! SISSY!!)" "(BUDDY! GET UNDER SOMETHING NOW!)" he heard Pietro scream out. Which he quickly did by running over to a small broken table. As time when by he watched as the bomb fly down in front of them. He had tears in his eyes before he looked over at his older siblings. "(Bubby! Sissy!)" Matteo cried out in pain and scaredly. "(Don't move! It's okay teo!" Wanda said in a worried tone as she looked at him. Before he knew it he was back with Agatha while Wanda was now pulled out from under the bed. Matteo felt numb but he also couldn't show it, deep down he just was in pain while he was being controlled by Agatha.
Matteo then looked up to see Wanda and Agatha talking, he couldn't help but clench his jaw and watch them. "How long where you guys trapped for?" She asked. "Two days..." Wanda said before she then looked over at the table Matteo was under. She couldn't help but remember how small and tiny he was. "So much trauma!" Agatha stated as she looked at the two figures standing near each other.
Matteo then looked up at her before he soon looked back at the familiar scary door. '(NO! NO NO NO!)' he thought to himself while Agatha smirked. "I don't want to go back there." Wanda said sadly as she looked at the door. "Oh I know. But it's good medicine." Agatha stated as she was technically talking to the both of them. "Now go on" she stated as she soon watched as Wanda walk ahead while Matteo followed her slowly.
Agatha then smirked as she looked at Wanda. "Ahh. The rebellious years. You guys made young Matteo join in on this anti hero terrorize club." She blurted out. Matteo soon looked up at them before he had shivers down his back remembering all the tests and other trauma events that happened within this hydra base. "We wanted to change the world... we never wanted to put Matteo through this.. he was so small... we tried to get him out of it but it was too late.." she said sadly while Agatha hummed to herself, which she didn't want to have Matteo relive through this since she already knew he was reliving everything in his mind.
After the hydra scene
Wanda, Agatha, and Matteo where now in compound within Wanda's room. Matteo looked around before he knew where he was. He was in medbay alone while Nat was with him. He then seen how Wanda was sitting on the bed with a pillow in her grasp watching a sitcom. The boy then looked at Wanda who was now speaking to Agatha. "This is the Avengers compound. Pietro was dead... and Matteo was in medbay recovering... I was all alone..." Wanda spoke out before Matteo soon watched as Wanda started relive her past.
As Matteo watched he couldn't help but look down and just not listen anymore. He didn't want to hear Wanda's side of the story while he was recovering from his battle from Sokovia. All he could do was wait until Agatha speaks again.
As he stood there he soon heard Agatha speak again. "Parents dead. Brother dead. Vision dead." Agatha spoke out to which Wanda just let out a sob while she wiped away her tears. "Come on Wanda!" She said angrily. Matteo couldn't do anything, all he wanted to do was use his magic to attack Agatha but he couldn't he was trapped and Wanda his sister, his mama was crying in pain from all the trauma she went through. Before ge knew it he was now snapped away now outside of the twins door. Matteo then was doing things from Agatha's control by going into the room taking the twins and making them go outside. As he finally made it outside Agatha appeared and she smirked while she snapped and made Matteo appear into town. The boy stood in the town confused before he just went ahead and waiting. The boy just stood there completely in aware and unable to break his bond with Agatha. He just wanted to fight back but couldn't. Before he knew it it's like a switch flipped in his brain which made him forget who he was, while he now waited for Agatha to appear with him. 'Wait my sorcerer. Your time will come. Just wait until I get there' he heard Agatha's voice in his head. So that's what Matteo did was stood in the alleyway in town and waiting for Agatha to summon him.
