Hi guys! Here it is, the next bonus chapter. Remember, I am uploading weekly now so please like and comment so I know whether you enjoy it or not.

Also, my other book has also been uploaded (it is also weekly) and is a fantasy romance. Check it out!

Let me know what bonus chapters you'd like to see in the comments.

So without further ado, the chapter-

Raven came closer, and pulled me down harshly.

"I don't know if he's ever mentioned the name, but Aaron used to have a girlfriend called Avalon." She began and I listened in at the odd prospect of Aaron being in a committed relationship.

"He was so different before when he was with her. He loved her so much and I think she brought out the best in him. One day, there was this party at Danny's house. Aaron was with his us all and Avalon was with some other friends. Maybe if she was with him, she wouldn't have done what she did." She said

"What did she do?" I questioned, wanting to hear the answer.

Raven sighed and moved closer.
"Aaron caught her sleeping with a guy. She blamed it on being drunk, but it broke him. He loved her so much and when he saw them together, you should've seen him Alexis. It was horrible."

"What did he do?"

She stared out the window a little while longer before turning back to me.
"He broke up with her and beat the guy up. Turns out, the guy wasn't drunk, so he knew he was sleeping with Aaron's girlfriend"

"Then?" I asked, shocked. Raven sat back a little, more relaxed with me.

"The girl transferred schools out of sadness and the boy left the school, afraid he'd get beaten up by Aaron again. After that, Aaron stopped believing in love. He just had a relationship for sex and didn't try to form a bond with the girls."

Aaron's POV when he catches Avalon cheating on him- Part 3

_________________________

It was with thoughts of his crying mother, arrogant father and a once-supportive Avalon that sent the hot, white ice of rage running down his veins and he couldn't help but feel the bitterness in him quell at the hypocrisy. Something inside him had snapped and he didn't feel like his playful self anymore. No, what was left was an angry shell of his former self, one that didn't discern desire from reason and- right now- he desired blood.

"Aaron..." Justin's tone held a warning to it as if he knew what was to happen, but Aaron was too far gone as he moved forward, making the boy look to him tepidly as he scrambled to get up. He would only fail as Aaron reached, blue eyes dark with hatred.

"You're dead." Was all he bit out, voice uncharacteristically hoarse as he pulled his hand back.

And, Avalon screamed as fist hit flesh and blood hit mattress.

Crack.

Crack.

Crack.

It was the sound of carnage as Aaron's had repeatedly slammed against the boy's face, but to Aaron it was more than that. It was exhilarating.

The satisfaction  and elation that filled him felt like nothing else. It was as though each punch morphed the boy's face into a more familiar, paternal one. With every hit, Aaron felt as though he was a young child again confronted with his cheating father. At that time, he had been helpless, not aware of all that a relationship meant, but now it was an entirely different case. He was helpless no longer; now, he had the ability to combat it and that was exactly what he was doing.

He could feel the arms of both Justin and Mason on him but, today, he was much too rigid, overpowered by his tumultuous emotions. It would take more than even Justin's strength to deter him. It would take more than Justin's words to reason with him. He was a raging black hole right now; one that was all-consuming and blind to all that it impacted. Every sense was simultaneously dulled and heightened to the point that each punch he delivered was sending a thrum of blood across in body in rigorous pulses.

The pulses were so loud that he could barely hear the sound of Avalon screaming behind him. It reminded him of just two days when she had screamed at seeing the spider in her bathtub and how it increased in volume when Danny picked it out and brought it closer to her. He had protected her then, blowing the spider into Danny's face. At that point, he hadn't wanted to see her upset or screaming; he had wanted to be a base of relief and support: someone who she would seek out when feeling any negative emotions.

Yet now he was the cause of it and, even more so, he didn't care. It was as though all his emotions had become numb and, now, he found enjoyment in doing this. He found an enjoyment in hurting her as much as she was hurting him.

His hands were stained red at this point as the boy lay dazed underneath him and he couldn't help it as he looked to the boy in careful examination. Aaron couldn't help but think about what he lacked that this boy had. What made this boy better? The insecurities filled him and only fuelled his punches. She wouldn't like the boy so much if his face was pummeled in, was his only thought.

It was only when a third pair of hands came in fhat Aaron was yanked back and he struggled, shouting curses as he looked back. It was Danny's gaze that met his, a look of sadness in his eyes and Aaron stopped in his movements as Danny moved forward, taking Aaron into his embrace.

Silence.

A silence passed then where not even Avalon spoke and Aaron stayed rooted to the spot, eyes blank as Danny hugged him. No words were spoken, but no words needed to be spoken at that moment; Aaron knew what Danny was trying to relay. From birth, Danny had been a presence in Aaron's life. They had their first steps together, lost their first tooth together and attended their new school together. There was never a point where their paths had diverged. When Avalon and Justin had come into their lives, Danny had immediately taken a liking to Justin as did Aaron and they all formed a solid friendship that would endure all the years. On the other hand, Danny had not had the same close relationship with Avalon. He didn't hate her, no, they just had completely different personalities and, so, Danny was content in seeing her make Aaron happy.

But, now, Aaron wasn't happy.

Danny could feel the seething rage fill him when Raven had tumbled upstairs to come get him. He could feel the murderous intent take over as he told everyone to get out and he could feel the unfathomable anger wreak havoc within him as he ran down the stairs into his basement that was used as the area to hurt his best friend. The anger knew no bounds and was threatening to spill over into violence, but one look into Aaron's desolate eyes and the anger dropped dead like a feather in the wind. The red dissipated and he was filled only with concern of his friend that always wore a smile.

"Aaron." Danny spoke the name as he withdrew but Aaron stayed silent, breathing ragged and the skin of his hands tattered.

"Please, Danny, talk to him. I was drunk; it's not my fault!" Avalon cried out, moving towards Danny, but she was stopped by Justin who stood in between them.

"Justin.." Avalon pleaded shakily through tears and Danny's fists clenched by his side.

"Get out." Justin said and Avalon's eyes widened as she shook her head rapidly, more tears falling at the action.

"I won't leave him, please don't do this!" She cried out, making Raven huff from where she was stood on the stairs. When Justin didn't relent, Avalon looked over at Danny, hands folded together.

"Please Danny, let me just have a private conversation with him. He needs to hear what happened." She begged through cries and Danny spared a look to the unconscious, bloody boy on the bed before turning back.

"Did you not hear what Justin fucking said?" He asked rudely, face pulling up in disgust and Avalon's eyes widened in shock as did Mason's. Yes, he wasn't close to her, but he had always treated her with respect and, never once, did the smile leave his face.

"What?" She weakly whispered in shock and Danny edged closer at this until he was close to Justin's back.

"He said get out so get the fuck out of my house!" Danny's voice was a loud timber that echoed across the hollow walls of his den. He knew, from this point forward, that he would never come down here again due to the memories it would give him.

"Aaron, please. Say something." Avalon whispered yet again, body trembling and it was silent for a moment before Aaron turned away, so his form was facing the wall.

"Get rid of them both." Was all he said and Avalon made a shocked sound of protest.

"You don't mean that, Aaron, no!" She cried out, but it would fall on deaf ears just as Mason and Danny moved forward, grabbing the unconscious boy off the bed and dragging him up the stairs.

"No, please, Aaron. Listen to me!" Avalon moved closer, but it was Raven who came in front of her now, a scowl on her face.

"Are you deaf? Get out already. He doesn't want to hear it." She grit out, her hatred evident in her tone and Avalon pursed her lips as a fresh set of tears flowed down.

"Raven, you've been so close to me ever since we met. At least give me the chance to explain myself." She cried out, reaching out to touch her arm but it was stopped by Justin who held it tightly. She tensed at this, looking up with eyes that were heavy with an indecipherable emotion. He only stared back with those tired, grey eyes that were filled with such a cold intensity that it scared her.

"Don't make me make it worse for you. Leave now whilst you still have some dignity." He threatened and it made Avalon's eyes widen. If Raven didn't mistake it, she would have thought she saw a tinge of fear in Avalon's eyes as though Justin had uncovered all her secrets, but Avalon composed herself quickly, looking down.

"I'll go for now." She whispered, defeated and- with one last look at Aaron- she made her way up the stairs.

A long silence followed as Mason and Danny reentered and they all looked to Aaron tepidly. They couldn't see his face from how he was turned nor did he say anything that let them discern what he was truly feeling.

"Aaron." Justin stepped forward first, placing a hand against his shoulder.

"Are you okay?" Raven was next, standing right besides Justin, but Aaron gave no answer.

"He'll think again before doing some shit like this." Danny seethed and Mason nodded, edging forward.

"And Avalon too. Forget all that noise. We're here." He consoled and then a long silence passed. A long dreary silence before Aaron nodded.

"I'm fine." Was all he said and Justin raised an eyebrow.

"You're fine?" He questioned and Aaron turned around with a nod and small smile, but it was unlike his normal smile.

"Yeah, I am." Was all he said again, but they all knew that was just another lie. With one look in his eyes, they knew the carefree, playful boy was completely gone, but they didn't know what was now left in his place.

They had yet to find out that the boy in front of them was a different person completely: a temperamental, impulsive hothead. Someone who would soon turn to his fists now before using his jokes to lighten a tense situation. Someone who would now forget a girl's name as opposed to remembering to buy her flowers every day. Someone who would stop caring about school because he didn't find an enjoyment in anything. For the next year, he would become a hollow hole and they were not aware of it.

They were also not aware that this soon would be broken by a doe-eyed girl named Alexis who would- a year later- thaw away his chaotic exterior and find the playful Aaron again. She would nurture his broken heart until it was healed and he would soon forget all about this night.

But, until then, lay a year of miseries.

Coming up for next week's chapter-

A regrettable notion on his part, for what Justin had seen, he wished he could forget. He looked on in shock at Avalon settled, in the grass, at the trunk of a tree.

Not just that though as a boy of curly brown hair lay on her lap. She stroked blissfully through his hair; they looked into each other's eyes without a care in the world.

"When, Ava? I need to know." The boy urged, his voice strained. He sat up abruptly before putting a hand on Avalon's waist. Justin did his best to keep composure. He needed to hear this.

The boy spoke again.
"I don't wanna hide it from anyone. Your body belongs to me and I want to shout that at the top of my lungs." He murmured sweetly, pressing his lips to her neck.

Avalon giggled at this and that was when Justin broke. She pushed the boy away from her neck with a smile before taking ahold of his hand. Her voice was soft and sweet as she spoke, a tone that Justin had gotten familiar with hearing when she talked with Aaron.

"I know, I'm yours, Eli. Please, understand that, okay? I'm yours." She whispered before leaning in to kiss the boy. He kissed back feverishly before they both lay in the grass, facing each other. His hand was strewn across her waist and her hand rested on his face as she slowly caressed him.

How Avalon got into an affair with Elliot in the first place.
