She ended up having to move for a bit, ahead of the board meeting that she was going to attend (and co-chair) with Matt this morning; a meeting where she was going to have to see her friend, a friend whom she is not really ready to speak to right now. Not when she's in trouble with her. But there are times where a woman needs to just get out and go to the washroom. And unfortunately, this was one of those times; and it was due to the fact that she was pregnant, which means that she had to go to the washroom. And at first, Matt wanted to go with her; but she told him that she'd be fine, and that she would be right back. But little did Gabby know that there would be a little problem that would delay her getting back; and that problem would be her best friend, whom she's not on the best of terms with at the moment for reasons that you understand. "Hey, I haven't seen you yet today." Looking up, Gabby sighed. "Yeah, there was a reason for that." Stella took a breath as she heard her best friend say that, not really liking the tone she's getting.

At the same time, Gabby washed her hands to try and stay calm. "Okay, you can calm things down." Turning to look at Stella as she said that, Gabby was shocked. "Are you serious? I can calm down? Stella, did you forget the phone call we just had this morning?" Stella sighed as she looked at her best friend. "Gabby, it was something stupid. How was I supposed to..." Gabby just looked at her best friend. "No, you don't get to play dumb like this again, because you know who Christie was. You know who Christie is, she's Matt's sister." Stella sighed as she heard Gabby say that. "I know. But that doesn't mean you have to be all mad at me." Gabby looked at Stella as she said that, a bit shocked. "I don't get to be mad at you? Stella. You basically told my sister-in-law to fuck off when it came to marketing!" Stella laughed. "Gabby, she doesn't know shit about..." Gabby shook her head. "Stella, she has bachelor's degree in marketing! We don't have degrees, well you don't." Stella just looked at Gabby as she said that. "And you do?" Gabby agreed.

"Yes, I went to college unlike you. I had to do it so that I could become a paramedic!" Stella was a bit nervous as she heard her best friend say that. "Oh." Gabby agreed. "And then I went to the fire academy, so I have more to my name that just my husband's money! Stella, I thought we were friends. Do you really need to make things this hard for me while I'm pregnant?" Gabby then proceeded to go grab some of the moisturizer that they have in here for the ladies. "I'm making things hard? Maybe if you  got back to me, you could've taken care of the marketing. I'm kind of busy right now, you know." Turning to look at Stella, Gabby was shocked. "Excuse me, you did not just compare how busy YOU are to how busy I AM." Stella laughed. "Oh, and you're busier?" Gabby looked at her best friend. "I'm getting ready for another set of twins, trying to wrap things up for you for the new year, I have twin boys, and I have a husband with PTSD." Stella looked at her best friend. "Uhm, me too." Gabby groaned. "Seriously, you can't compare!"

Stella just laughed. "Really? I can't compare!" Gabby just looked at her best friend. "Yeah, last time I checked...you weren't in charge of the entire company, like my husband is!" Stella then proceeded to go walk up to her friend. "Well maybe if you'd let us help!" Turning to look at her best friend. "Stella, this isn't something you can just help. Stay in your lane and do what I say." Stella just looked at Gabby as she said that. "Really? That's how I'm going to be treated?" Taking a breath, Gabby tried to concentrate on her breathing right now. "You know what, I am not taking this...and I am going to take the high road. We have to work today, and we can fix things when we're in a better place." Gabby then proceeded to walk away, as this is the last thing that she needs to worry about; but apparently, Stella didn't feel the same way. Rather, she wanted to talk; so much so, that she grabbed her arm and tugged her back into the bathroom. "Hey, stay here." Unfortunately, what Stella just did was not the best idea; especially since it made Gabby fall.

More specifically, right onto her back. And that was not hurt. "Oh god, Gabby..." Laying back, Gabby was just staying still as she hit her head. "Gabby, c'mon. Here, let me help you up." Seeing her best friend get on top of her, Gabby got scared; but not as scared as what just happened. All of a sudden, she felt something happen...and it just sent her back, to less than eight months earlier...when she gave birth to the boys. And let's just say that this is not what she wants to feel right now, as she put her hands on her stomach. "Gabby, grab my hand and...." That's when Gabby heard somebody else come in. Seeing that it was Christie, Gabby just got nervous. "Christie." Seeing her sister-in-law on the ground, Christie got nervous. "Gabby! Are you okay?" Rushing over, the aunt got worried and looked at her. "Help. Matt." Getting nervous as she heard Gabby say that, Christie just looked up and stared at the other woman that was in here. "What are you doing just standing there! Go get her husband!" Stella got nervous as she heard that, doing just that.

At the same time, Christie looked at her sister-in-law and took a breath. After which, she turned around. "Oh and ask that doctor that Matt and Gabby know to join us in here." Stella agreed as she rushed away, really scared; but not as scared as Gabby was. "Christie, I can't do this again. I can..." Christie just looked at Gabby as she said that. "Hey, take a breath and just relax Gabby. Hey, just look at me. You can do whatever you set your mind to. Gabby, you are here; and we're all here." Gabby agreed with Christie as she said that. "Christie, tell Matt that I love him and not to..." Christie stopped her. "Hey, no. You're going to be okay Gabby. I promise." Going to grab her phone from her pocket that she has on her, Christie went to go call 9-1-1. "What are you doing? Talk to me?" Christie looked at her sister. "What do you think? I'm calling 9-1-1." Gabby agreed with her as she said that, getting scared. "Christie, I'm scared...." And it was just then that Matt came busting through the door (as he wasn't far), only so see his wife on the ground. "Gabby!"

Gabby then got scared. "Matt..." Just looking at his wife, Matt got nervous. "Hey, what happened?" Matt then looked at his sister, taking off his jacket as he got down. "Here, Christie; let me take over." Christie shook her head. "Just talk to your wife and keep her calm. I'm not moving when she's comfortable." Matt agreed with Christie as she said that, before moving close to his wife; after which, he put his hand on her stomach and looked at her. "Hey, what happened Gabby?" Taking a breath, Gabby looked at Matt. "Stella, she was in here. W...we got into a spat." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, starting to understand. "Okay, I promise. Everything will be okay. I promise, okay?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before taking a breath. "Matt, Bella and Sofia..." Matt looked at his beautiful wife, before shaking his head. "No, you don't think that way Gabby. Gabby, you did this in April, and you were a rock star. You're going to do it again." That's when Christie started to speak up. "Yes, in the bathroom on the 21st floor."

Matt then proceeded to look at her. "Tell them that we're going to Tripler and our doctor is Dr...." Gabby then grabbed Matt's hand. "Natalie, I want Natalie." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that. "Tell them that we need to have Dr. Natalie Halstead." Christie agreed with Matt as he said that, before going to speak to them. "Yes, Dr. Natalie Halstead." That's when Matt heard somebody knock on the door. "Matt, is it just you guys? It's Will!" Matt agreed with Will. "Come in Will." Will then proceeded to come in, just looking at Gabby. "Gabby, hey. How are you doing?" Gabby got worried. "Will, I can't do this again. I need to wait three months." Matt just looked at Gabby. "Hey, baby no. We got it, we'll be okay. We'll have one of those condo-hospital rooms again. We can bring the boys there and everything. And I promise, I'm not going to work. I'm going to be there for you." Gabby agreed with Matt, really scared at the moment. "Matt, I'm sorry." Matt shook his head as he heard Gabby say that, before bending down to kiss her softly.

"Hey, it's all okay. You have nothing to say sorry about." Matt then turned to look at Christie. "Go see Rafael, tell him that he's acting Chairman and CEO effective immediately, then go up to our place and get a back packed; you're watching the boys until further notice." Christie agreed with Matt as he said that, before getting up so that she can leave. At the same time, Will looked at Gabby. "I'm sorry I can't do much for you guys, because I can't..." Matt then looked at Will. "Right, no kit." Will sighed as he looked at him. "I'm sorry Matt." Matt shook his head. "Hey, you can at least make sure that she's okay everywhere else." Will agreed with Matt as he said that, before looking at him. "Here, maybe we can do something to start. Gabby, how attached are you to this..." Gabby just looked at Will. "Rip it, I don't care. Just make sure that I'm okay. I can't loose another baby!" Gabby then turned her head and looked at Matt. "Matt, three more months in the hospital. Can we really do that?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Yes, yes we can."

Taking a breath, Gabby just agreed with Matt as he said that; after all, she can trust her husband. And god, this is just not the best time. She doesn't want this to happen again, but she knows it is going to happen. That's when she felt Will start to rip her dress. "Here, let's just get this off." Matt agreed, before going to help Will with getting the dress off. That way, they can access her easily. "Matt, we're done. Please..." Matt agreed. "Hey, of course baby. I promise, we're done. I'll have my princes, and my princesses from my queen...all in 8 months." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before watching as he bent down and kissed her softly. Just taking things slow with his gorgeous wife, Matt smiled as he was going to become a dad of four today. "Baby, this is our dream come true at the end of the day. We're going to me okay." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, really happy that this is going to be their reality. "I love you Matt, always remember that." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, kissing her forehead. "I love you too Gabby."

Hi Readers: I know that this was sudden, and that this chapter was short. However, I have decided that this is the path I want to follow. But I do want to let you know that I've decided to skip to when they're done expanding their family. The next chapter will take place six hours later, around 4 PM when Matt and Gabby are officially parents to four kids. Hope you guys enjoy.

Another note: I am going to start another part to this story, See The Caseys: Family Life, Part 3.
