Hi Readers: Sorry for the delay in getting this chapter out too. Just got a bit distracted, exploring some storylines that I wanted to follow; but it turned out that I just wasn't able to get those storylines to turn out, so I need to get back to the couple I know best. And that would be Matt and Gabby. Thanks again for being so patient, and I hope you continue to like the story.

Casey Home Office, 28th Floor – He just couldn't find himself to do it. To wake his beautiful wife up, when she looked so calm and relaxed while she laid next to him this morning in bed; and that was why he just didn't have the heart to wake her up, not when he had something to do today. More specifically, something that he knew that Gabby was not going to be the happiest about, which was the entire reason why he didn't wake Gabby up. As what he was doing was not at all family related, but it was instead related to the business. More specifically, to the business contracts that he has to sign; and the messages that he needs to get out to one of his newest employees, whom has yet to get a business e-mail. Well, until now. He just got it all set up for him, with the assistant of Casey's Assistant Chief Technology Officer for the Los Angeles Office Jamie Mars. "I really appreciate you helping me out this Sunday Jamie." Jamie agreed with his boss as he said that, more than ready to help, even if he isn't working at the same office as his CEO.

After all, Jamie doesn't work out of the Hawaii Office; rather, he's based at the Los Angeles Office. "it's more than okay Mr. Casey, I understand why you didn't want to bother Gabe." Gabe being Gabriel Adams, the Chief Technology Officer for Casey, who is actually based here in Hawaii, but he just didn't know whether he was awake or not. "Yeah, I just didn't know whether he was awake right now; and I'm wide awake and can't sleep anymore. My wife, not so much; she's fast asleep upstairs, and the boys are awake. So, I already fed them, took the dog out and decided to do a bit of work while the boys play together on the ground of my office." Jamie was a bit shocked as he heard his boss as he said that, as he was worried that his boss was going to get in trouble with his wife. "Mr. Casey, I hope I'm not overstepping; but don't you think that's a bit risky? Taking the boys to your office when your wife is still asleep in bed?" Matt snickered as he heard Jamie say that, well aware of what he was thinking, which was that he was on the 21st floor.

More specifically, he thought that he was in his official office; the one which is located in the office part of the building, rather than the one that was in his home here. "Oh, I'm not in that office. I'm in my home office. Jamie, it's Sunday. Do you really think I would go to the office, where I would be alone? Let alone when I'm taking care of my boys?" Jamie then realized that, well aware that him even thinking that was quite stupid. "Yeah, I guess that was pretty stupid." Shaking his head, Matt sighed. "Jamie don't call yourself stupid. You went to MIT, and that's one of the reasons that I hired you; and I would rather not have stupid people working in my technology division, which contains all of the proprietary designs that we have for the company." Jamie agreed with his boss as he said that. "That reminds me, did you get the e-mail that I sent you on Thursday?" Matt was a bit confused as he turned his head and went to look through his e-mail. "Sorry, I don't think I got it." Jamie agreed. "it's titled Update." Matt agreed with Jamie, before searching for it.

Looking for it, Matt sighed as he took a moment to find it; but now, he's got it. "Sorry Jamie, you have no idea how many e-mails that I get on a daily basis." Jamie laughed. "I can only assume that you get at least twenty a day." Matt was shocked. "How did you come up with that math?" Jamie laughed (again). "Five divisions, at least four executives per division; and there has to be something related to operations of each of those divisions each and every day, even on the weekends." Matt agreed with Jamie as he said that. "I just wish I could get a summary each and every day." Jamie agreed with his boss as he said that because he knows that would help. "Maybe you should ask your personal assistant to do that for you." Matt agreed with Jamie as he said that, because that's a good idea. "Then again, do I want him to go through all of my e-mails." Jamie agreed with his boss as he said that, as that most definitely was not something that he was going to want. "I think that you make a bunch of good points Mr. Casey." Matt agreed with Jamie and smiled at him.

After which, he turned his attention so that he could make sure that Matteo and Noah were still okay, which they most certainly were, just playing there with each other. However, he could also tell that the play pen was getting a bit tight for them. "Hey Jamie, give me a minute." Going to take his AirPods out of his ears, Matt went to set them down on the desk; after which, he made his way over to the play pen, and decided to open it. At the same time, he looked at Andy (who was currently just laying down on one of his many dog beds that they have around the house); the dog bed that he's currently using being the dog bed that they have for him at the penthouse. And that's more than okay with him, as he seems to be very comfortable there on his bed. "You comfortable buddy?" Moving to rub Andy's head, Matt smiled until he heard Camila's voice. "Matt, you down here?" Matt agreed with Camila as she asked him that. "In the office Camila." Walking up to his office, Camila just looked at her son-in-law as she was a bit confused.

After all, it is Sunday; and she didn't think that he would be working today. "Is there a reason why you're working today?" Matt sighed. "I need to get some things set up for some of my new employees who are starting this week, and I would rather not have to do it on Monday; when they can be productive, plus Gabby is asleep." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that. "And the boys?" Matt smiled. "Already fed and changed, and I already had a bowl of cereal. I'm going to make myself something later when Gabby is awake, but she's still asleep." Camila shook her head. "I got it. Want me to make one of my casseroles?" Matt smiled as Camila asked him whether he wants her to make one of her casseroles, because he would appreciate that very much; as would his wife. "I think that me and Gabby would both love to enjoy that Camila, thank you very much." Camila agreed. "Now, get your work done before Gabby wakes up. You know she's not going to be happy." Matt shook his head. "I already spoke to her when we first woke up, she was still tired."

Camila agreed with Matt as he said that. "Let me guess, it's part of her pregnancy?" Matt sighed as Camila asked him that. "She had a rough night. Something didn't sit right with her stomach last night, so we're just going to take it easy. I may even just spend time with the boys if Gabby needs to sleep, not sure yet." Camila sighed. "If you need me to watch the boys, just let me know; because I want you to take care of Gabby if she needs you." Matt agreed with Camila as she said that, as he appreciates that. "Actually, maybe we can just have something easy on the stomach today. I mean, unless..." Camila smiled. "Yes, my casserole is easy on the stomach; you have nothing to worry about when it comes to that Matt." Matt  shook his head. "I'm her husband Camila, I'm always going to be worried about what she eats." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Good point." That's when Matt remembered something. "Oh Camila, quick thing." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, looking at her son-in-law.

"Tomorrow morning, I need you up and ready by 9:45. I have a meeting down on the 20th floor at 10 with some of my employees, and that means that I may need some help with Gabby and the boys." Camila smiled as she heard Matt say that, well aware that was the case. "You're going to start getting busy now, aren't you?" Matt sighed. "Only until February, then I'm taking time off around the time of Gabby's birth; about that, I need to talk to you about that for a moment." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that. "You're on the phone though." Matt sighed as he thought about that. "Listen, how about you let me finish my phone call? And then I can come downstairs. We can have breakfast together, and just take care of the boys. I think we need to talk about that at some point." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that. "Did you remember to take your medicine Matt? Sorry, I just want to..." Matt agreed. "Yes, I remembered. I do it each and every day because I don't want to have PTSD." Camila agreed with Matt, before sighing.

"I heard that you had a bad one recently, are you okay?" Matt agreed with Camila as she asked him whether he was okay. "I am, thanks for asking. But Camila, I'm sorry to say this; but I have someone on the line, and I was talking to them. It's about my business meeting tomorrow morning at 10." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that there is preparation that goes into some of his meetings. "Of course, Matt, I'll go make you that casserole." Matt agreed with Camila as she said that, flashing her a smile as she walked away; after which, he looked at the boys one last time before putting his AirPods back into his ears. That way, he would be able to get back to the conversation that he was having with Gabe.

Opening his e-mail as he continued to read some of his e-mails, Matt smiled as he heard his phone ring to see that it was Linda Errs, his head of Contracts, here in Hawaii. "By any chance Jamie, did you ask Linda to join us?" Jamie agreed with his boss. "I just wanted to make sure that she was awake of what was going on, and that we're all the same page with regards to your legal situation." Matt agreed with Jamie as he said that, before going to add Linda to the call; that way, they could all talk about this together. "Good morning Linda, sorry that I didn't want to bother you for this." Linda agreed with her boss as he said that, really appreciating the fact that he thought about her before his work. "I appreciate that Mr. Casey." Matt agreed with Linda as she said that. "Please Linda, call me Matt. Sorry if I am not all that formal, and it's weird being called Mr. Casey." Linda sighed. "Sorry, it's a habit being an attorney." Jamie laughed as he heard Linda say that. "Tell me about it Linda, especially when you're a former litigation lawyer."

Linda agreed with Jamie as he said that, well aware that was the case. "God am I glad that those days are behind me; I am much happier only having one big client and working with a much bigger team. Plus, the benefits aren't that bad." Hearing that, Matt got a bit worried. "Is there anything to the benefits you aren't liking Linda?" Hearing her boss get worried, Linda went ahead and calmed him down. "Oh, no Mr. Casey. I love the benefits that you provide for us, I am just making small talk with my colleague; there's nothing to worry about when it comes to this, as me and my colleagues are more than happy with our existing benefits packages." Matt agreed with Linda as she said that, glad that was the case. "Of course. Sorry, I guess I am just worried. With us still being a new business, and one that's going to be quite big; I am just worried about employee retention from the start." Linda agreed with her boss as he said that. "Of course. And I understand that, which is why we did it where you are my client; and I am not you employee."

Matt then realized that. "Right, I forgot about that." Linda laughed a bit as he said that. "Mr. Casey, you have nothing to worry about when it comes to whether I am going to keep being your lawyer, as I feel honored to be your lawyer." Matt agreed with Linda as she said that. "Don't worry Linda, you can take vacations whenever you can." Linda agreed with her boss as he said that. "Okay, now I am here because you said that you need something done here this week?" Matt agreed with Linda as she said that, as he most definitely does. "Yes, I do. And it's related to contracts. That's why Jamie called you. Apparently, he knew better than me what I needed; even though he's a technology specialist." Jamie laughed a bit as he heard Matt say that. "You're talking about contracts, and I thought you needed something related to that." Matt agreed. "Me and Linda already dealt with it, but I can make sure. Linda, I need some contracts for three doctors, and a new personal assistant. Do you need me to send you an e-mail with the positions?" Linda agreed.

"I think that would help. Because if I remember correctly, the last time we did contracts; they were tailored to the positions. And I believe that's wise, as it's the best way to protect you. You need to do that." Matt agreed with Linda as she said that, as that most definitely is the truth. "Not that I don't trust these people. I have known them for a while, but I do know what you mean Linda. So, I am just going to send you an e-mail. Do you need me to send you an e-mail too Jamie? That way, you can get the e-mails set up properly for us." Jamie agreed with Matt as he said that. "Same default passwords to start? Their names?" Matt agreed with Jamie as he asked him whether they were going to follow suit with the same e-mail passwords that they started with, like they did the last time around. "As we get bigger, I think that's something that you're going to have to do." Jamie agreed with his boss as he said that. "Now, are you the only one who's allowed to create e-mails in the future? I'm just not sure what's going to happen in the future."

Matt sighed as Jamie asked him that question, before thinking about the future. "Jamie, if you hear there's a new employee; then I would like for you to create an e-mail anyways. They are going to need it anyways. I would like my company to be as paperless as possible, and that means that we need to have e-mails available for all of the staff." Jamie agreed with his boss as he said that, before continuing to listen as he wasn't done speaking. "Plus, it's much easier to send information over e-mail; especially when you're doing it in the middle of the night, when you're taking care of a baby." Jamie laughed a bit as he heard Matt say that, well aware that was the case. "Now, I know that some e-mails are being created with ELLA as the e-mail server; do I do that for all ELLA employees?" Matt agreed with Jamie as he said that, as that's what he wants. "Yes, Casey employees get Casey e-mails; ELLA employees get ELLA e-mails." Jamie understood what his boss meant when he said that and decided to write that down. "I understand that Mr. Casey."

That's when Matt realized something. "Actually Jamie, you should just concentrate on the staff that you have there in Los Angeles; I will make sure to get Gabe to concentrate on the e-mails that we can create here in Hawaii." Jamie laughed. "I'm more than okay with doing the e-mails for you Mr. Casey, as I have a smaller office to take care technology wise. There are times where I need to help Gabe in Honolulu, doing it remotely." Matt agreed with Jamie as he said that because he does appreciate that. "I think that we should do that then. You can create the e-mails, while Gabe can take care of the servers here in Hawaii; can you please make sure to send that information to him?" Jamie agreed with his boss as he said that. "I can talk to him because we talk every day anyways. Gabriel is still weary at times when it comes to the hacking, and he wants to make sure that everything is okay system-wise on a daily basis. We actually are in the midst of running our morning scan of the entire system for anything foreign in the systems." Matt agreed with Jamie.

That's when Linda Errs decided to speak up. "Mr. Casey, would you like me to print out the e-mails and have them at the office tomorrow?" Matt agreed with Linda as she asked him that. "Sorry about that Linda, I forgot that you were even on here still. I guess that I have to make sure that my calls are more streamlined when it comes to the topic." Linda laughed. "It's okay Mr. Casey, you can do it however you wish. I am just going to make sure that everything is okay, and then I am going to let John and Miguel know what I'm doing." John and Miguel being John Serhant and Miguel Adams, the name partners that make up the Serhant-Adams Law Group; with John Serhant being the only lawyer that works, and Miguel just being a legal advisor to Matt. But still, he's one of his lawyers if he ever has to go up against someone that he knows; and let's just say that he comes in handy, as he comes with a lot of experience under his belt. But right now, it's not time to concentrate on that; especially not when someone is downstairs now.

"Figured I'd find my babies all in the same room as each other."

XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Walking over to the couch he has in his office, where Gabby was currently sitting (and looking at the boys); Matt smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife, a bit surprised that she's even awake right now. "I thought you were going to sleep in for a bit." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that because that was her plan. "I know, but I'm awake now; and that's all that matters at the end of the day, that I'm awake." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before getting close to the woman he loves as he sat down. Wrapping his arm around her, Matt smiled as he leaned in and then kissed her softly. Moving her hand to Matt's face as he did that, Gabby couldn't help but be really happy that they were sharing this sweet kiss with each other. "I love you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before moving to grab her hand. "Sorry that you're finding me in here."  Gabby shook her head as she heard Matt say that, as that was fine. "Hey, I was still fast asleep. It's okay baby." Matt agreed with Gabby. "I just had to get a contract ready for tomorrow."

Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "And did you already set up your weekly meeting tomorrow morning with Rafael?" Rafael being Rafael Solano, the Vice-Chairman and Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Casey Group-at-Large. Which means that he's in charge of assisting Matt in overseeing the entire company, and all of it's divisions. And the truth is, Matt's glad that he has a fellow dad in the position; as it means that he understands what he might ask him to do, and why he needs it to be done. Sure, he might not have a pregnant wife as well; but that doesn't mean that he doesn't get that things can be hectic when you're a new father, as well as a new husband. "We meet tomorrow at 9. I just need to double check." Getting up, Matt walked back over to his desk so that he could send Rafael a text. Opening the phone, Matt proceeded to find the text thread that he has with Rafael; after which, he sent him a text message. 'Tomorrow, Weekly Meeting at 9 AM?' Hitting send on the message, Matt took a breath as he walked back over to Gabby.

After which, he sat down again and proceeded to get nice and close to the woman he loves; wrapping his arm around her once again in the process, Matt smirked as he leaned in and kissed her softly. "I just need to wait until he texts me, then I can be done with work." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. And that's actually when he got his text. 'Be there at 9 Mr. Casey, I promise. I am always there at 9, aren't I? However, can you tell Ms. Casey that Jane is going to take the day? Our Matteo got a flu.' Matt got nervous as he read that, before going to pick up his phone. "Sorry babe." Going to hit Rafael's number, he sighed as he knew that he needed to make this phone call. "What's wrong?" Matt sighed. "Their son Matteo has the flu. I want to tell him..." Grabbing his hand, Gabby already knew what Matt wanted to say; and that was so sweet of him, to let him concentrate on his family first. "Hi Mr. Casey, I guess you don't like to text?" Matt sighed as he heard Rafael say that, before speaking to him.

"No, I'm calling to let you know that you can concentrate on your family tomorrow. Your son is sick Rafael, just concentrate on him." Rafael laughed. "I'm sure he'll be fine by tomorrow, but I will let you know in the morning if I need to cancel." Matt agreed. "Good, because I have my boys going to daycare tomorrow anyways." Agreeing with Matt, Gabby smiled as that was right. "Right, I forgot." Turning his head, Matt smiled as he cuddled up to Gabby and then kissed her forehead softly. "How about you grab one of the boys and head to bed? I will get us breakfast and bring the other one up. Day in bed?" Gabby smiled. "I'll tell my mom to bring us breakfast in bed, and yes." Getting up, Gabby leaned over Matt as she put her hands on his face; after which, she took things nice and slow with the man she loves. "I love you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him that he loves her. "I love you too, see you upstairs."  Matt smirked before looking at her clothes. "We'll see." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling at her.'

Looking at Matteo, Gabby smiled as she picked him up and then proceeded to carry him out of the office to go up to their room. At the same time, Andy got up and went to follow Gabby. "Babe, Andy's coming." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Thanks for letting me know." Matt snickered, before going back to the conversation that he was having with Rafael. "I can see that you guys are feeling better. I hope that you know that me and Jane still feel heartbroken over what happened to the both of you." Matt agreed with Rafael as he said that, well aware that was the case; because that's the case with the entire company. "Of course, we know that Rafael, but I promise that things are much better. And I also want to let you know that things are going to relax here, and that we have a couple more employees joining us. We're signing the contract tomorrow morning, and I would love it if you were there so that I can introduce them to the man who will be Acting CEO when I am on paternity leave." Rafael was a bit shocked as he heard his boss say that.

"Acting CEO? Are you sure Mr. Casey? I mean..." Matt smiled. "Rafael, you're one of the Vice-Chairs of the Board, and the Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer-at-Large. You know all of the divisions, as you need to know them; there's nobody I would rather put in place as my acting CEO while I'm on leave, not that I'm not going to be in the office at least once weekly." Rafael thought about that and agreed with his boss. "Yeah, that makes sense." Matt smiled as he heard Rafael say that, well aware of the fact that he was a bit relieved that he wasn't going to have to do this all the take. "Oh, don't like and say that you aren't glad that you have me at least some of the week so that I can make the really hard decisions." Rafael agreed with Matt as he said that, as that most definitely was the truth. "Hey, I would rather not screw up when it comes with that much money!" Matt agreed with Rafael as he said that, well aware of the fact that they deal with a lot of money most of the time. "I promise, things are going to be fine Rafael. You can take it easy and relax."

Rafael agreed. "Except for Saturday night, me and Jane are going to a fundraiser dance here in Hawaii." Matt was a bit interested when he said that. "Would it be the one for Puerto Rico by chance?" Rafael was a bit taken aback. "How did you know?" Matt laughed. "My wife worked for the charity during the summer of 2018. She was there working on the ground, so we're going to be there. But listen, I should really be letting you go. We can save this conversation for tomorrow, around 9:30 or as soon as you get to the office, or when I get to the office. We have a meeting at 10 with all the doctors. And I want you there. In fact, at all of my meetings from now until March; that way you can be as informed as I am, and maybe I can trust you with some big decisions." Rafael agreed with Matt as he said that. "It'd be my pleasure Mr. Casey, I promise. Now, I need to go take care of my family. I hope that's okay." Matt agreed with Rafael as he said that. "Of course. Say hi to Jane for me." Rafael agreed with Matt as he said that. "And the same to Gabby."

Matt agreed with Rafael as he said that, before moving to hang up; after which, he got up and looked at Noah. "C'mon Noah, let's go to bed for breakfast with mommy and Matteo." Walking over to Noah, Matt smiled as he went ahead and proceeded to pick him up in his arms. After which, he cuddled up to him and went to make his way up to his and Gabby's room where he's going to talk to her about his schedule for tomorrow.
