Hi Readers: Sorry for the delay in getting this chapter out, but I just got lost doing other things; however, I think that it's now time to get back to some other things. But more specifically, I want to go visit another couple for a bit; after all, we need to see how the other couple's night of romance went. But no, I am not going back to write all of Jay and Alex's night; that would be too much work, and we want to move things forward as we start day two of their weekend alone. 8:05 AM, December 7th – Halstead Home
The minutes ticked by on her alarm clock this morning, the fifth by her count since she woke up early today, which is something that she would enjoy on a normal day, as it would've meant that she wouldn't be woken up by one of the twins crying out for her. But today, this was not the time that she wanted to be awake; rather, she still wanted to be fast asleep. She wanted to be sleeping next to her naked husband, who made love to her the night before; or heck, even on him. But no, she was laying down next to him right now; at least if she was on his chest, then she would have something that she could do. She could run her hand up and down his abs and trace them with heir finger. Oh god, just thinking about her gorgeous husband makes her feel lucky; because he really is the best husband in the entire world, and she feels really lucky to be his wife. But right now, she needs to do something for him; and that would be make sure that he stays asleep, and she's going to do that by getting up out of bed. Maybe she can go work on some designs.
Get some new designs out for ELLA, and just get some creative energy out; maybe then she'll be tired again, and she'll be able to fall back asleep next to her husband. Opening the covers to their bed, Alex went to get up this morning; however, her plans soon hit a snag when she felt Jay roll over in bed. Turning her head, she looked to see whether Jay was still asleep; and it seemed that he was, as he still had his eyes closed. So, she went back to getting up out of bed. Looking around the room, she went to see whether she could find her underwear; that was, until she remembered that she wasn't wearing underwear when they got in bed. Rather, she was already naked; and that was due to the fact that they made love to each other twice last night, once in the bath and then in bed with each other. And god, that was great; she just hopes that she doesn't wake Jay up as she walks over to her dresser and gets some underwear out. Going to bend down, Alex quietly went to open her drawer; however, it seemed like even that was enough noise.
It was just loud enough to wake her husband up, which was the last thing that she wanted. "Alex?" Turning her head, Alex looked at the man she loves while he looked at her; at the same time, she took a breath while going to open her drawer to grab some underwear. "Sorry, go back to sleep. It's okay." Rolling over in bed, Jay shook his head. "Can you get me some boxers while you're over there?" Alex laughed as she heard Jay say that. "So, only you get to enjoy the show of me walking around naked?" Moving to put her new pair of underwear on, Alex smirked as she went to adjust it before walking over to Jay's dresser. "Oh, don't act like you don't like to tease me like that." Alex smirked as she heard Jay say that. "What are you doing up this early anyways?" Turning his head, Jay saw that it was only seven in the morning. "Babe, it's only seven." Alex sighed as she walked up to Jay's dresser, before opening his boxer drawer before throwing his fresh pair of boxers towards him. Catching them, Jay smiled as he looked at the woman he loves.
God, he still loves the sight of his wife walking around like that. "So, still not going to give me some answers?" Alex sighed as she looked at the man she loves, before opening his undershirt drawer; after which, she grabbed one so that she could put it on. After which, she tugged it down on top of her. That way, she wasn't nude at the moment; but let's just say that didn't make Jay the happiest. "Awe, I was enjoying the sight." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I am well aware that you were enjoying that sight. But right now, you need to calm down mister; because I can see that you're already excited." Adjusting his boxers this morning, Jay smirked as he looked at his beautiful wife; after which, he started to make his way over to Alex so that he could wrap his arms around her and hold her close. "So, how long have you been awake?" Alex smiled as she felt Jay wrap his arms around her and just held him close to him, while also stepping extremely close to him; after which, she pressed her body against him.
And let's just say that really turned Jay on, and it always does; I mean, what's better than her pressing her body against his chest. "I just woke up maybe fifteen minutes ago." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before moving his hand to the side of her face. "And I can see that you aren't that happy about the fact that you're up this early?" Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, as that most definitely is the truth. She then proceeded to wrap her arms around his back, smiling as she leaned up and kissed her man she loves; at the same time, Jay moved both of his hands and then bent down to kiss the woman he loves (by crashing his lips into hers). And let's just say that really turned Alex on, because it was exactly what she wanted. "God, now that was hot." Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, before wrapping his arms around her. After which, he felt a bit of fur walk up to him (and rub against his leg); which prompted him to look down at Max as he woke up this morning, and he already knew what that meant. "We should've stayed in bed."
Jay laughed as he heard Alex say that, before turning his head and kissing her forehead softly; after which, he watched as Alex wrapped her arms around her back and looked up at him (which is when he decided to point something out to her, while also moving his hands to her neck so that he could kiss her again). "Last time I checked, you were the one that got up first so that you could but some underwear on. I was okay being naked in bed with you, as we held each other close." Alex smiled as she heard Jay say that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I'm sure that you were okay with that." Jay laughed, before smiling at his beautiful wife; bending down, he then started to take things nice and slow with Alex. And god is that a nice feeling. There's just something about it that makes him really happy. "God, I love you so much; and I am so glad that we have a bit of alone time right now." Alex agreed with Jay when he said that, smiling at the man she loves. "That also means that we aren't in a rush right now." Jay agreed with Alex, smiling at her.
And that wasn't the only thing that he agreed with Alex about, because he also agreed with her next statement. "But still, just because we want to stay in bed; that doesn't mean that I'm not interested in a nice morning coffee. I need some caffeine because I am not breastfeeding." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Two months is enough." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling as she wrapped her arms around him again; she then leaned up and kissed him softly, while Jay put his hands on her neck once again. "I love you Alex, but you need to stop kissing me." Alex was shocked as she heard Jay say that. "Sorry, but did I just hear you tell me that I need to stop kissing you?" Jay smiled as he heard Alex ask him that, because he's just as shocked as she is. "Believe me, I'm just as shocked as you are. But seriously, I need to get out of here so that I can make you some coffee. Now, breakfa..." Alex shook her head. "Not yet, I just want some coffee; but make sure that you put Max out with the dog door open."
Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware of the reason why she wanted him to make sure that the dog door was open; and that was due to the fact that they were going to be doing something while they have their coffee in bed, and that was hold each other close. Which is actually why Jay isn't going to put Max out through the kitchen. Rather, he's going to put him out through the patio door in their room, which is why he just let Alex go, so that he can walk over to it. Turning his head at the same time, Jay whistled for Max before calling out for him. "Max!" Looking up at Jay, Max then got up so that he could go outside; meanwhile, Jay opened the patio door and just smiled as he went to let some fresh air into the house. "Want me to keep the patio door open for now? That way, Max can just come and go as he pleases." Alex smiled as she liked that idea. "Now that's an idea that I most definitely do enjoy, because it means that you don't have to get out of bed; and we can just relax as we hold each other close."
Agreeing with Alex as he made his way back over to her, Jay smirked as he went ahead and proceeded to move his hands to her hips; at the same time, Alex put her hands on his muscular chest. Leaning up, she smiled as she started to take things nice and slow with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you Jay." Jay agreed with Alex as she told him that she loves him, because he feels the same way. "I love you too Alex, and I am so glad that we're taking this time together." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that, before smiling as she pushed him away. "Coffee, maybe a muffin too." Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, before walking away so that he can go make them some coffee (and get Alex a muffin). Meanwhile, Alex made her way back to bed so that she could just take it easy and relax; after all, that was what their plans are for the weekend. For them to take it easy with each other, and just relax. I mean, they don't have the kids for a reason; but that doesn't mean that she isn't going to check on them, thanks to Natalie.
Anyways, she knows that Natalie is awake. So, she went to grab her phone and went ahead and sent her a text.
Alex to Natalie: You awake?
Natalie: Let me guess, can't sleep because you're away from the kids. Want them back?
Alex: And miss a chance to get another full night of sleep?
Alex: Don't get me wrong, I love 'em...but I need to catch up on some sleep.
Natalie: I can only imagine. BTW Thank your dad for waking me up. He was here at 7 AM. The kids aren't even up!
Alex was shocked as she read that, because that wasn't something that she expected to hear; so, she texted her father.
Alex to Hank: Did you really show up at Will and Natalie's at 7 AM?
Hank: Yeah, I want to help with the grandkids.
Alex: Hank, Will and Natalie can do the morning shift. Make breakfast now that you're there!
Hank: Will already started, he said relax.
Alex: HANK!
Alex groaned as she saw her dad's message, before going to text her brother-in-law.
Alex to Will: Ask Hank to help you in the kitchen. If he says no, tell him it's my request. He woke you up!
Will: Thank you very much! He didn't even agree to make coffee!
Alex: He told me that you already started, and he told you to relax.
Will: (Silence)
That's when Alex got some texts back from Hank regarding what she just did.
Hank: Gee, nice of you to make me do that. Seriously, I'm your father Alex. Be on my side.
Alex: Hank, I have to deal with them 24/365. You just have to deal with them while you're here.
Alex: When you move to Hawaii, then we can speak; because they're my only babysitters!
Alex: OH, and you are banned from playing that card Mr. I CAUSED MY DAUGHTER TO GO INTO PRETERM LABOUR!
Hank: Okay, you've got me there. Sorry about that again.
Alex: You better have gotten us some pretty good Christmas gifts and be grateful that you didn't BANKRUPT us!
Hank: Sorry, but how could I have done that?
Alex: Twins, in the hospital for like two and a half months, plus a transfer to Hawaii. That's a lot of $$!
Alex: You can thank Matt and Gabby for having helped me after what you did to me in Los Angeles!
Hank: I will definitely have to do that.
Alex: Get on the phone with the CPD and get us a contract with them. Or at least buy gear for intelligence.
Hank: I'm meeting with Antonio this weekend for Supper, I'll talk to him.
Alex: Good. Now, have a good weekend and listen to Natalie!
Alex then decided to go text to Natalie again, wanting to finish the conversation that she started with her.
Alex to Natalie: Sorry about what my dad did, I just texted him and cleared things up with him.
Natalie: I know, I saw him texting a bunch. You text fast, shouldn't you asleep with Jay?
Alex: Jay is gone getting me some coffee! God, I am missing it so much; and I am taking advantage of this weekend!
Natalie: Don't rub it in. I'm still banned from drinking coffee because I'm pregnant remember!
Alex: Oh, add in the nice creamer, and the sugar. Oh, that's paradise!
Natalie: ALEX! Watch it before I forget to change your daughter's diaper.
Alex then went ahead and copied the last few lines of their text thread, forwarding it to Jay.
Alex to Jay: This is what Natalie just texted me in response to me saying that I'm getting coffee with breakfast. I may have rubbed it in, but still; I want to let you know what your sister-in-law just texted me.
Natalie: ALEX! Watch it before I forget to change your daughter's diaper.

Picking up his phone shortly after getting a text message from Alex this morning, Jay went ahead and checked whether she needed something; but rather, it was something else. In fact, it was something that he was not that impress about. A message that was about Natalie's response to her (basically) boasting/bragging that she was getting coffee with Breakfast.
Natalie to Alex: ALEX! Watch it before I forget to change your daughter's diaper.
And let's just say that definitely did not sit well with her brother-in-law, which is the exact reason why Alex sent him the text message. And now, he's going to take care of it; just as soon as he tells his wife that he'll take care of it. "Don't worry Alex, I'm going to take care of it while I make us coffee." Alex then yelled back. "YOU'RE GOING TO BE OUT THERE FOR A BIT TALKING TO NATALIE, CAN YOU MAKE ME A BAGEL!" Jay laughed, as he was already doing that. "I was already doing that Alex, because I want to stay in bed a bit." Alex agreed with Jay as he said that. "BEST HUSBAND IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, KEEP IT UP!" Jay snickered as he heard Alex say that, well aware of what she was talking about. "Don't tease me if you don't intend on following through with the promise!" Alex agreed with Jay. "JUST MAKE ME BREAKFAST AND CALL NATALIE BEFORE A TAKE A SHOWER WITHOUT YOU!" Jay agreed with Alex as she said that, as he knew that was a threat that she was more than ready to follow through with. And as he didn't want her to, he went to do as he was told. Grabbing his phone once again, Jay went to go find Natalie's contact so that he could speak to his sister-in-law.
Jay's POV:
Setting my phone down on the counter (after putting it on speaker), I then went to open the bagel that was going to make before putting it in the toaster; after which, I grabbed the other bagel so that I could do the same with that one. After all, I am making two bagels: one for myself, and the other for Alex. But that's not all that I'm doing, because I am also going to speak to Natalie, who just picked up. "Hey Jay, I just texted Alex. You have nothing to..." Interrupting Natalie, I went to tell her. "What's this about you threatening my wife about not changing MY PRINCESS' diaper?" Natalie got a bit nervous as I said that, seemingly shocked that I even said that. "Oh, you know about that." I agreed with Natalie. "Oh yes I do, Alex sent me the text, so I have proof." Natalie agreed with me, before going to add some context. "Okay, in my defence; she's the one that started it, because she was bragging that she was going to have coffee. And you know that I can't right now because I'm pregnant." I snickered as I heard Natalie say that, well aware that was the case.
"So, basically what you're telling me is that you feel like you're justified in threatening to not change my daughter's diaper; just because my wife bragged about the fact that she can have coffee, while you can't have coffee....because you're pregnant by choice?" Natalie got nervous as I said that because she knows that I didn't leave any room for arguing, which is the exact reason that I said it that way. "God, you're good! How in the world did you know how to say it that way?" I laughed as I heard Natalie ask me that. "I've been dealing with your husband for my entire life, and that brain of his; the brain that showed me how to do that. So, you can blame him for me being able to do that to you." Natalie agreed with me as I said that. "Okay then." That's when I heard Will walk up behind Natalie. "Who are you talking to Natalie? And can I steal you away for a moment?" I then heard Will start to suck on Natalie's skin. "Hey Will, can you not show my little girl how a boy can give her a hickey? I would rather she not want to get one by a boy!"
Will then realized that I was on the phone with him and Natalie. "Oh, Jay." I agreed with him as he said that. "Yeah, morning man. So, who was the one that gave the twins a midnight feeding?" Will laughed. "Me and Natalie did, together. We're getting used to it." I agreed with them both. "My recommendation, make the bottles while you're making breakfast; because that's the only time that you're guaranteed a chance to really do it, at least that's what I find. They're still in a place where they're happy because they've just been fed, but they're still a little tired and don't have all that energy that comes with a baby. So, that's all I can say." Will agreed with me as I said that. "Then I'll get that started, since Natalie is making breakfast." I was shocked as I heard Will say that. "Uhm Will, what did you just say?" Will then realized what I said. "Oh, I mean I'll make breakfast; Natalie can do the bottles." Natalie laughed as she heard Will say that, before thanking me. "Thanks Jay." I agreed with Natalie. "God, you really need a lot of practice Will!"
Will agreed with me as I said that. "Don't think that we're going to babysit every weekend though! We're having people here the weekend after Christmas, because Maggie and Ben are coming down for Christmas; and so are Ethan and April." I agreed with Will as he said that. "Okay. Well listen, I love you guys; and I want you guys to have a great day with the kids. Natalie, you dare threaten me like that; then I say no to watching your kid the first weekend you want to have time alone with Will, and then you'll be stuck hiring a non-family member to watch your kid. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT RELATES TO MY PRINCESS!" Natalie got nervous as she heard me say that, well aware that he's mad. "Yeah, I definitely picked the wrong twin to say that about." I agreed with Natalie as she said that. "You do not mess with my princess! Nor do you even threaten that, because I know that you guys would not want that either. Now listen, I am going to let you guys go. Natalie, you..." Natalie just agreed. "Okay, I promise. Have a good day." Natalie then hung up.
At the same time, I shook his head and just snickered due to the fact that he knew that he scared her; but at the same time, it turns out that I turned Alex on...as she soon walked up behind me and wrapped her arms around me. Putting my hand on her arm, I smiled as I then went to turn around. "I thought that..." That's when I noticed that Alex was just wearing her underwear with my dress shirt, leaving it open so that I could see her body. "Oh, now I like this." Moving in front of me, Alex smirked as she stepped close to me and then grabbed the back of my head; at the same time, she put her other hands on my chest. Moving both of my hands to her little underwear, I smiled at her while bending down so that I could kiss my beautiful wife softly. Running my hands up her back at the same time, I smirked due to the fact that this really is something that is really sexy. "What's the reason that I get this?" Alex smirked. "Because of how you defended our daughter." I agreed with Alex as she said that, before tugging her body against my toned chest.
At the same time, Alex wrapped her arms around my back as we held each other close; and I could just tell that Alex loved what she was feeling right now, because her body was against my shirtless chest. Bending down, I smirked as I leaned in and started to take things nice and slow with my beautiful wife. "We can take a shower together, after breakfast." I agreed with Alex as she said that, before moving my hand to her neck and just continued to take things nice and slow with my gorgeous wife; after which, I decided to bend down and kiss her neck softly (which prompted Alex to moan). "Oh, JAY!" Smirking as I made her moan, I was really happy that I just did that; especially since I knew that it turned her on, which is everything that I want to do. "Want to have breakfast in bed?" Alex agreed with me as I asked her whether she wanted to have breakfast in bed. "Yes, so I will see you in...." Moving my hand to her butt as she tried to leave, I shook my head as I liked this feeling. After which, I bent down and kissed her softly.
"You aren't going anywhere, because I like this feeling; and because I like this feeling, I am going to keep it now that I have a chance to have it." Alex agreed with me as I said that, before smiling as she felt me run my hand up and down her side; after which, she cuddled up to me and moved her hands onto my back (as she laid her head down on my chest). Turning my head, I smiled as I kissed her forehead softly. "I love you Alex." Alex agreed with me as I told her that. "I love you too Jay, and I'm really happy that we decided to take the day to ourselves; as much as we love the kids, I know that we need this right now. We need some time as husband and wife on a regular basis, and this is our weekend to do it." I agreed with Alex as she said that, before turning my head. "One of two weekends, because we get another one at the end of the month...when we get to celebrate our first wedding anniversary together." Alex smiled as I mentioned that we're going to get some time together on our anniversary. "Want to talk about that?"
I was a bit confused as I heard Alex say that. "What do you mean?" Alex then smiled. "What we're going to do this New Year's Eve, as we celebrate our first year of marriage. Want to talk about it over breakfast?" I agreed with Alex as she asked me whether I wanted to plan for our anniversary, because that sounds perfect. "How about you go relax in bed, and we can do just that over breakfast?" Alex agreed with me as I said that, leaning up to kiss me softly. "I love you." I agreed with Alex as she said that, before watching as she walked away; at the same time, I reached down and squeezed her butt. "JAY!" I just smirked as she yelped for me, before watching as she ran away to our room. At the same time, I turned my attention back to the breakfast that I was making for me and Alex. The breakfast that we were both going to enjoy with each other this morning, as we cuddle up to each other in bed; because that most certain is something that he wants to do all day. He wants to cuddle up to Alex in bed, as they hold each other close.
