I woke up, thankful, yet sad that today is a day of grieving for everyone, but for giving me a day of rest. I layed in bed with Magnus as we enjoyed the quietness.
"Shall we take a bath before Alec comes home?' I asked him
"That sounds, wonderful, my star." Magnus said as we got out of bed to take a relaxing bath together.
We got out and watched as the day went by us. Magnus and I though, could not have a free day. We called every warlock we knew and explained what happened. I also called Raphael and Caterina to check on him and Madzie.
It was still midafternoon, when we finished, and we're joined by Raphael. He explained the situation with Izzy. He wasn't able to leave, as Alec showed up.
"Hey." Alec told us
"You must be reading my mind. I was just about to call you." Magnus told him as I hugged Alec
"There's a greater demon on the loose. And we need your help. It's been leaving this on its victims." Alec told us showing us a bag.
"Now this is interesting." Magnus said.
"He should be locked up." I said, looking at Magnus.
"Who?" Alexander asked us.
"Azazel." I told him.
"Oh, dear. This sand, it's from Duduael." I told him as Magnus examined the bag closer
"Which is a... dimension in Hell." Alec said
"The worst dimension. Did you find this on their face?" Magnus asked
"Mmhmm." Alec nodded
"How did he get loose? He's been shackled for centuries." I said towards Magnus
"Who Magnus, Stella?" Alec asked
"The demon who taught man the weapons of war. A greater demon, Azazel, one of the princes of Hell." I told him
"Right. A real prince. Why is it so dark in here?" He asked us until he heard a whoosh.
"Hello, Alec." Raphael said as he faced Alec
"What is he doing here?" Alec asked
"Raphael has something important to tell you." I told him
"Nothing he says matters to me." Alec told us
"Your sisters in trouble." Raphael said
"You're damn right she is. She's suffering withdrawal back at the Institute because of you!" Alec told him, getting angry.
"Alec, please, just listen to what he has to tell you." I asked
"She just came by the DuMort, begging for a bite." Raphael told him
"What?" Alec asked
"I didn't touch her. You have my word. But there are plenty of vampires more than eager to take a bite." Raphael explained
"I never should have left her alone." Alec said, going to leave
"How bad did I get?" Isabelle asked out loud.
I knew he was going to blame himself.
"It's not your fault. Don't worry. We'll find her" Magnus told him
"Here's the address to the closest den. There's a good chance she's there." Raphael said handing him a paper
"Let's go." Alec said as we left the loft, leaving Raphael in the darkness of it
It was dark when we reached the den. When we turned into the alley, we saw dead bodies with foam coming out of them. It could only mean one thing.
"Azazel did this." Alec confirmed before we walked further in the alley. I saw Magnus leaned down and pick something up.
"Izzy's necklace." Magnus said
"It's broken. Where is she?" Alec asked but we couldn't say anything for we did not know.
We went back home, while Alec went to the Institute.
"Raphael, We're home." I said entering the room
"Welcome back, mamma. I have to go do some business. I'll keep an eye out for Isabelle. Love you." He said kissing my forehead, before leaving
Suddenly, I got a fire message.
"It seems we are needed at the Institute. Alec is asking us to help summon the greater demon." I explained
"Alright, shall we my dear." Magnus said opening a portal with a handout.
We stepped through it and started creating a summoning circle. We saw as Alec brought Valentine out and chained him.
"We captured the bastard." Jace cheered.
"Is the courtyard glamoured?" Alec asked us
"No one can see us." Magnus told him as I finished the circle.
"I don't know. Still seems like a risk." Alec said
"We have no choice. This is the only space big enough." Magnus told him
" Security cameras in the cell are down. We've got a half hour until the Inquisitor's done with her meeting." Jace told us
"Is Clary ready?" Alec asked Jace
"Let's do this." Jace said
Magnus and I gathered our magic before chanting, "We call upon the power of the pentagon. Azazel, we summon thee. From within our realm, into this mystical confinement, we summon thee. You seek the Mortal Cup. We seek the return of our friend. For this exchange, we summon thee." Magnus and I said at the same time, watching as the pentagon shined before Azazel appeared before us.
"Well... if it isn't Magnus Bane and Stella Diamandis." He said
I saw everyone look at me. I know why. No one knows my last name, I made sure of it.
"Brave move." Azazel said trying to get through the pentagon
"Return Isabelle Lightwood... and we'll hand over Valentine." I told him
"He can lead you to the Mortal Cup." Magnus told him
I watched as he looked at us before turning towards Valentine.
"Valentine Morgenstern. The man who dares to dream big. It is a tempting offer, but I don't have your friend Isabelle." Azazel told us
"He's lying" Alec said but I couldn't really focus because the barrier is weakening. I struggle, alongside Magnus, to keep it up.
"I wonder how much strength we are using?" I asked.
"If we are starting to feel the effects, I worry how much you are using." Magnus told me
We both looked at the screen, worried for the outcome.
"That's for sure." Jace said
"No time for debate. The barrier's weakening." Magnus told them as we fire our magic at Azazel before strengthening the barrier.
"We can still find Isabelle, but we can't let Azazel get away. Clary now." Jace said as Clary came out
She put her hand out, but nothing happened. I couldn't hold this much longer.
"It's... It's not working!" Clary said
"What you talk about?" Jace asked
"Nothing's happening!" Clary told him before we turned to Azazel to see him getting mad.
"You thought you could contain me?!" He asked or more like exclaimed angrily before breaking the barrier. I flew back from the barrier, right next to Magnus.
Suddenly there was an excruciating pain.
"Jace!" Clary yelled out
"Ahh! Magnus! Stella! Stop him!" Alec yelled for us, but I couldn't.
I watched as Azazel approached us. He put a hand on mine and Magnus's cheek.
"No!" Magnus and I yelled.
"Stupid warlocks." He said before walking to Valentine.
I closed my eyes against my will. There's this constant pain. I get up slowly from the floor as Alec helped Magnus up.
"Hey, are you okay? Stella, you, okay?" Alec asked us
"What happened?" Simon asked us.
"He put a hex on me." I told him. I couldn't imagine that pain.
"Magnus?" He asked.
"I'm not quite sure." He told them.
I could only nod my head, knowing what was to come.
"I... I think so." Magnus told him though
"Okay." Alec said as we leaned on him for support.
As we walked away from the scene, I stopped them both.
"Alec, Magnus, I will be at my lair for a couple of days. I have something to do." I told them
"Are you sure you're, okay?" Alec asked me
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'll be back in three days." I told him kissing him and Magnus before leaving.
I appeared in front of Raphael.
"Mamma, are you okay?" he asked
"Yeah, um... tonight we summoned Azazel. We thought he had Isabelle, but he didn't. He did something to me." I told him
"What did he do?" Raphael asked
"It's an old spell. Deja fou. It means Insanity Hex. It's a way to make people talk. It shows you your worst fears, nightmare, memories, till you can't take it anymore. It usually only lasts a day. But if it doesn't, I told Magnus and Alec, I'll be gone for a couple of days." I explained to him
"Are you sure, you will be, okay? What if you're not back within a week or what if Magnus and Alec come asking for you? What do I tell them?" He asked me
"Mijo, if they do come, tell them the truth. If I'm gone longer than a week, come to my lair. Explain the situation to them. I promise I'll be fine within a day. I promise." I told him
"Alright, mamma. Please come back as soon as the hex is done with." He told me
"I will." I told him before going to my lair
"Always have to handle these problems by yourself. You need to learn to rely on us more." Magnus scolded me.
"I know my love. I will." I told him.

It's already been an hour. The hex will soon begin.
"Stella, how could you. We we're your friends." I heard but there was no one around.
"No." I cried. Not them.
"We're here Stella. We are right here." Alexander comforted.
I just watched as I had to handle the madness from the hex.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean too" I told them before they disappeared from sight.
If I kept seeing this, I don't know what I will do. Every thirty minutes, a new one appeared. People I loved people I killed.
It has been 11 hours, just one more. I can't do this. I can't do this. I can't do this.
Suddenly the pain came back. I was a sobbing mess.
"Go away! Go away! Go away!" I screamed until I felt arms around me.
I pushed them away. "Don't touch me!" I yelled
"It's me. Stella, it's me. Magnus." I heard
I looked up and saw Magnus and Alec.
"No, you're just my imagination." I said
"No! No. Darling, look." Magnus said showing his magic.
"Magnus!' I cried out
"I'm here. I'm here." He said holding me
"I don't know how much longer I can last." I said
"One more hour, darling. One more hour. I'll be here the whole time." He said holding onto me.
"No! No! I'm sorry!" I yelled out looking at Landon
"Forgive me, Landon!" I yelled but he wouldn't stop. He disappeared and I thought it was over till Alec and Magnus appeared
"We hate you! Your a monster! You'll be the death of us!" They told me.
"We don't believe that." Magnus said
"We would never say that to you." alexander continued.
"You are our mate, our star, our angel. We would never say that. We love you." Magnus finished.
"Alec! Magnus! I didn't mean too. I would never" I cried out
"Shh. Shh." Alec said petting my head
Then silence. I cried.
"It's over, darling. It's over." Magnus told me rocking me
"Can... Can we go home?" I asked looking down
"Of course. Let's go." He said as Alec picked me up
We appeared in the loft, as the boys changed me.
I just grabbed onto Magnus, never letting go.
