Indrajith idhan namma flat..kitchen la ellam already stock paniten... Thyagu mama said.
I looked around the already furnished flat. It looks good.
Unpack panna help venum na sollu nalaiku kalaila vandu help panren sariya..... Mama said.
Its ok mama naane pathukuren.... I said.
Sapaduku veetuku vaa da... Mama said.
Illa mama naane prepare panni sapdren.... I said.
Dei unga amma ku terinja prechana enaku thaan da... He said.
I smiled and said... Don't worry mama I'll take care of it. Weekends la vandu meet panren.
Ok.. Nalaiku office vaa official papers sign paniralam... He said.
Ok mama... I said and he went back to his home.
I looked at the flat once. I took my bags and went to my room. It had a bed, closet, a couch and that's all I need too.
I placed the bag on the bed and unpacked it. I took out the photo of Nithya and hung it on the wall.
I crossed my arms and stood there looking at her photo for a while....
I took a deep breath and continued arranging my things in the closet. That's when my hands landed on her shawl.... I looked at it and kept it with my clothes in the closet. After completing all the works I got tired but I couldn't sleep.
I made a black coffee for me and went to the balcony. Loneliness filled my heart. I wanted someone to hold me tight at this moment.
The heaviness in my chest, I just want it to vanish but it didn't.
I sat there in the balcony for sometime staring at the sky. A gentle breeze landed on me relaxing my mind a little.
I spent my time there staring at the sky aimlessly..........

Vaanathi ma ennadhu idhu.... I asked looking at the bowl in her hand.
Summa iru kezhvi kekama... She said and applied it on my face.
Enna ma idhu..... I asked.

Appo eduku ma inaikum poduringa... I asked.

Krishna uncle idellam yen nu neega kekuradhu illaya.... I asked.

I went to my room and washed my face in the bathroom. When i came out vaanathi ma was already waiting for me with a bowl in her hands.

Magizh hair mask bathroom la vachu potu viduren illati ellam edamum messy aagirum... She said.
I nod my head and in the bathroom. I sat on the small plastic stool and she stood behind me. She applied that mask on my hair. I scrunch my nose when I smelled something nauseating.
Enna ma idhu ipdi naarudhu... I asked.

I looked at her with a pout. She pulled my cheeks and said.... Moonja apdi paavama vaikada.
She didn't leave after she applied the hair mask. She stayed beside me and talked for sometime.
Maa unga paiyana miss panringala... I asked her because almost 90% of our conversation will be about him.

I stood for five more minutes and took a long shower . I used the shampoo and washed my hair thoroughly to get rid of the smell.
Once I done showering. I smelled my hair. Happa gappu adikala....
I wore a chudidar and sat infront of the mirror. I placed a bindi on my forehead and used a clip to secure my hair. Super good...
I looked for my shawl I couldn't find it. Thats when I remembered. I wrapped it on him that day but I didn't get it back.
Aiyoo... Sari paravala vera shawl potu povom.... I grabbed another matching shawl and went down.
I saw a lady around Vaanathi maa's age....
Magizh vaa idhuthaan en best friend Suganya.... Vaanathi ma said.
Vanakkam aunty.... I greeted her.
Vanakkam ma... Vaanathi Nee sonna mathuriye cute ah iruka.... Suganya aunty said making me blush.

I sat there respecting her words.

I looked at Vaanathi. She gestured me to reply.
Naa xyz college la BA English department la admission poturuken.... I said to Suganya aunty.
Andha college ah anga thaan ma un department la thaan en ponnukum admission poturukom..... She said.
Apdiya Suganya romba nallada pochu. Magizh ku avlo english varadu. Un ponnu irukala avazha magizh konjam pathuka sollu..... Vaanathi ma requested.

But I was a bit confused whether that girl will accept her friendship or not. I'm friendly but I don't know about the other person right....
In my school I didn't face such situation coz everyone was kind to me but this is a big city and I don't know about the people so I'm scared and confused.
After spending some quality time with her friend. Suganya aunty left to her home.
Then vaanathi ma and I spend our day. My mind got occupied with the thoughts of, how I'm gonna face everyone in the college. Will they accept me or not.
Now Vaanathi ma and I got busy preparing dinner for us.

Next day
Magizh magizh Suganya vanduruka seekram vaa .... I was in the shower when I heard Vaanathi ma called me and informed about their arrival.
5 minutes ma kuzhichitu iruken .... I shouted from the bathroom.
I quickly came out and wore my clothes. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and placed a bindi and rushed downstairs wearing my shawl.
My jaw dropped when I saw that girl.
Magizh vaa idhan en ponnu Swetha... Suganya aunty said.
Vanakkam nga... I said. That tomboy girl smiled a little and said... Hi, I'm swetha.
Magizh enna nee mudi ivlo eerama iruku.... Vaanathi ma asked.

Naa chennai la oru orphanage la thaan vazhanden.... I told her everything from how they found me infront of the orphanage, how I grew up, how I met Vaanathi ma and atlast how I landed up here.

We went to the hall. Vaanathi ma and Suganya aunty was already waiting for us with some snacks and juice.

Then we spend some time together. And we send them off to their home.

Magizh 2 days la college open aagudu.... So epdi feel panra.... Krishna uncle asked.

Krishna uncle and Vaanathi ma laughed loudly. I looked at them with a pout.

I turned off the lights and went to my room. I lied on my bed.
I tried to sleep but couldn't. After hearing his name. I feel something different. I have been feeling it since the day we had an encounter in the terrace.

I couldn't stand there further coz my mind is flashing his face continuously....
I went to my bed and stuffed my face to the bed and counted one to hundred....
And the technique worked. I dozed off......

Magizh indha dress first day college lu potu po. Nalla irukum.... Vaanathi said and handed me a jeans and top.
Sari ma... I said.
Aprom eera thalai oda poga koodathu. Onnula mudiya seekram kuzhichitu kaaya vaikura illa Blow-dryer vangi kuduten la ada vachu kaaya vachutu thaan mudiya kattanum... Ok va... She asked.

We Completely arranged my clothes for my college days.... Along with some advices from Vaanathi ma.
I never thought I'll get someone like her in my life. She cares me like her daughter and reprimands me when I do a mistake.

We went to her room. It looked so clean..
I sat on the bed and looked around the room. I smiled looking at the picture of Krishna uncle and Vaanathi ma. The Love in their eyes speak more than words.
Vaanathi ma came with the album. I started looking at the albums one by one.
Idhu Indhrajith chinna vayasu photos... She said.
He looked so cute.... My lips stretched into a smile looking at his pictures.
Vaanathi.... We heard Krishna uncle voice....

I waited for few seconds and made sure she went downstairs.
I quickly took my phone and started capturing his pictures in my mobile..
I took the other album. Which contains the pictures maybe 3 to 4 yrs back.
I clicked the pictures in which he is alone and a family picture.
I turned the next page. I saw a picture of Nithya Akka and Indrajith. Both were looking at each other with a smile. I don't know why it hurts a lot to see them like this. I closed the album and put it aside.
He really loved her a lot. But why it hurts to see them together.
Magizh... Photos pathachuna keezha vaa.... Vaanathi ma called me.

I kept my phone in my room and went down...
I spent my day just like that... But my mind kept on asking why did I clicked his pictures...
