Hi Readers: Before we begin, I want to apologize once again for only posting two chapters yesterday; normally, I do post more chapters. However, as I told you last chapter; I had other things that I had to do, and that meant that I needed to take time away from my writing to concentrate on that. But now, I have more time to write today; and I can't wait to show you where I plan on taking this story, starting with what I plan on writing in this chapter. I hope that you guys like it and are ready for more. Enjoy my loyal readers.

Casey Home – To say that Matt was glad that Gabby was taking a nap this morning was an understatement, as she most definitely needed to take a nap; after they lost Jackson, Gabby hasn't been sleeping the best and has been restless a majority of the time. So, if Gabby can ever get some time to just take it easy and relax; then Matt is going to be more than supportive when it comes to her getting some time to relax, especially since it means that he gets a bit of time to do some things other than comfort her. And that would be work. Yes, he said that he would take some time off; but that was just him saying it to Gabby, as he felt like he needed to work a bit...as it would help him. Help him get through this hard time in their lives, and just grieve in his own way. At the same time, it would give him a chance to do something; it would give him a chance to use some of his coping techniques that he has for his PTSD. Some of which include the most recent violin music that Natalie created for the PTSD products they are going to sell (for the general public). However, that's not going to be the case when it comes to people who have PTSD; and that's something he's determined to do for people like him, who are suffering with mental health. No services that he creates to help deal with PTSD will be at a cost.
Patients of the Casey Clinic for Mental Health (which he has decided to try and work with the Kapiolani-Tripler Army Medical Center to create at their hospital), will get the services free of cost as part of their benefits that they have; whether they be through the benefits that their jobs give them (through health insurance), or through the benefits that they have with Affordable Care Act (also known as Obamacare) and/or the benefits that they have received from being veterans (which, like Jay, they receive through the VA). But when it comes to former first responders, well that's going to be free no matter what the cost. If you've served your local city or state by being a first responder, Matt believes that you should be able to have health carefree of cost; without having to be a burden to your family, especially with the statistics that he's read recently. Statistics that break his heart, both as someone who has the ability to afford quality health care; and as a father, as he has guaranteed health care from his retirement benefits with the CFD (both for himself, and for his family). Not that he really needs it, as he can afford the health care that he needs to have with his money.
But he knows that's not the case for all of his employees, which is a reason why he's using his money for good; and that's by giving his employee the access to the quality healthcare that they deserve, simply by working for him in a fast-paced environment. And that's actually why Matt is currently on the phone with a few people that can help him out with stuff that he wants to do, for the staff as part of their employment. More specifically, he's on the phone with Hunter Riley, Leighton Davis, and Damien Isaacs; whom are the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer for the Los Angeles Office, and the Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer for the Hawaii Officer respectively. "I guess, with all of this going on; it's really got me thinking about how much we really need to give to our employees, especially with how tirelessly they have been working on for the sake of creating this company." Agreeing with his boss, Hunter Riley then proceeded to speak to his boss. "I think that most definitely is something that we all need to think about, and I find it admirable that you're doing it from the top down." Matt agreed with Hunter as he said that.
"Well, it takes someone with mental health issues, to know what it's like for people who might feel like they can't get help just because they can't afford it." Leighton Davis soon agreed with his boss, as he looked at his computer so that they can all look at the e-mail that they were sharing. "I think that we need to remember that, we're more fortunate as we have the money thanks to our salaries....and you, of course." Matt snickered as Leighton said that, well aware that was the case; after all, he was the one who was paying their salaries. "I just want to give back to our employees, and make sure that they have the same opportunities as us to have the health opportunities that we have." Damien Isaacs soon agreed with Matt as he said that, as he was feeing the same way with his boss (who was also here in Hawaii with him). "I think that we can all make sure that we give our staff the appropriate health services they require, but we all know that we can't do it individually. Rather, we need to do it as a team." Matt agreed with Damien as he said that, because that's exactly how he's feeling. "And being someone with mental health issues, I feel like we need to do this for all of our staff."
Hunter agreed with his boss, as that's something that they most definitely should (and they feel like an obligation that they need to) do for their staff; especially when they are really giving their time to help create this company, which was a complete startup. "Especially due to the fact that the company is a startup, and nobody knows whether this is really going to work; yet, I think that we all know that we are still working great. And I believe that we're going to be doing something that's really nice." Everybody agreed with their boss as he said that, especially due to the fact that they all want to do what's best for the staff that work for Casey; especially since it's their jobs. As human resources officers, they are advocates for the employees of Casey; and that means that they need to make sure that they can get everything done well for everybody. "Listen, I am not saying that I am an expect on this; and that's why I want you guys to do something for me." Each other the chief human resources officers agreed with the CEO, ready to listen to what they want them to do. "I want you guys to look into what we need to do for our staff, and what I need to do for our employees."
All of the people gathered here with Matt today agreed that they would do that for him, they would make sure that they are going to be taking care of this for him; they are going to make sure that find what they need to do to create the resources for their staff, as well as everybody else that they can provide these resources for. "I'm just glad that you're doing this Mr. Casey." Turning his head, Matt agreed with Hunter and smiled at him. "I promise, I'm going to do this for the rest of my tenure as CEO; and I hope that someday, my children can carry on my legacy." Damien agreed with Matt as he said that, before smiling at him. "I think that we all know that your children are going to do just that, and we can't wait to see what your family is going to do." Matt agreed with Damien, smiling at the man who is going to help him provide all of these tools; tools that in return, that he can use to help others. And that's something that Matt can't wait to do, provide the resources that he can give to the entire company. "So listen, how about you get to work." All of the gentlemen agreed with their boss, before laughing a bit. "Well, thanks again for being here, and have a good day."
All of the gentlemen agreed with the CEO as he said that, prior to hanging up so that they can all end the call that they were having with each other; at the same time, Matt took a breath (while also going to grab his water). He then proceeded to take a sip of his water, which he needs to do so that he can stay hydrated; after which, he went ahead and proceeded to go back to his computer. That's when he saw that there was an e-mail that he needed to read from Alex.

SUBJECT: Casey Police-SVU Course
Hi Matt:
I just wanted to let you know that I just sent an e-mail to Olivia Benson, the NYPD Captain that you met previous when we worked a joint investigation with them (and CFD gave us a hand). And that's because I was thinking that we could do something through Casey Police, and through the training programs that we're going to do. I know that you're a victim of your father, and I was just thinking that maybe we can be part of solving the problem of child abusive; we can start teaching police officers, or at least offering courses to police departments that can tell them what they need to look for when it comes to abuse; and as a result, we can save some lives.
I already sent the Manhattan SVU team (well, Benson and Rollins) an e-mail asking them for advice on what we should teach people in said courses (if you want to create them), and I will let you know what they write back to me; but for now, I just wanted to let you know what I'm thinking about. Now, don't worry about replying as I know that you need to grieve. Therefore, I send you me and Jay's love.
Sincerely, Alex.
Seasons Greetings,

Well, if that wasn't a nice surprise. That was what Matt was thinking shortly after reading Alex's e-mail, as he most definitely did like the fact that she was thinking of them; and that she was also thinking proactively when it comes to what services they can offer, and what training they can offer to police services. And when it comes to Special Victims Unit services, Matt truly does believe that's something that he could see themselves offering through the police training courses. And that's due to the fact that yes, he is a victim. And that's something that he wants to make sure that he helps to solve, the reporting issues that could've saved his mother from going to jail; that could've saved him from experiencing all of those issues with his father. And they were issues that they need to fix, which he can do with this training; and that most definitely is something that he wants Alex to create, with the assistance of the Manhattan Special Victims Unit. And since he trusts them more than anybody, having worked with them; he believes it'd be great.
I mean, that team of detectives is a team that they can trust; and they are a team of detectives that can really learn from, and who can give them exactly what they need to create the perfect courses that they can offer to other police departments. That way, they would have a uniform manner in which every local SVU works; and that they would make sure that they can protect the most vulnerable citizens of the United States, young children like him and the twins. Children who can easily be abused by their parents, and who aren't taken away from the state; or actually, their parents aren't taken away from the state if they see victims. And that's something that Matt most definitely does want to help create. He wants to change the world, and this is something that he most definitely knows that he can do for other people; starting with this course that he can get Alex to create, with the assistance of Olivia Benson, and Amanda Rollins from the Manhattan Special Victim's unit. And god, he can't wait to get this course available through them.
And let's just say that Alex is going to love this, because she's going to be the one he's going to put in charge of this project; rightfully so, as she was the one who came up with this idea. So, she's the only person that Matt can see leading this effort. So now, it's time for Matt to send an e-mail to Alex and let her know that she can pursue this avenue. She can pursue this idea that she has, and she can as him to use some resources (of his) to try and get this course started; a course than can led to more income and can also create a great future for the company. And now, it's time for Matt to write her back. But first, he wants to get back to the snack that he was enjoying; something that they recently found at Costco (they have a membership there), and they are amazing. And just what might that be? Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel bites. And god, are they delicious. Both he and Gabby are addicted to them, and he most definitely does plan on continuing to buy them until the end of time; well, as long as they are available to be purchased. But now, e-mail time.

SUBJECT: RE: Casey Police-SVU Course
Hi Alex:
I want to first thank you for working on your maternity leave, as I know that you should definitely relax right now; and when it comes to the business, I already plan on sending e-mails. In fact, I just finished a business call with some of the executives; and I just wanted to make sure that everything is okay. But first, on what you said. I want to thank you for your condolences and worry, and you sending your and Jay's love; you have no idea how much we appreciate it, and I most definitely am going to send that love to Gabby. But now, with regards to the thing that you want to create when it comes to a course for Casey Police. And the truth is, I love the idea of it.
Being a victim of an abusive father, and also having a mother who was abused by the same man; I think that we most definitely do like the idea of you reaching out to Olivia, and getting information on what we can do to create a course to make the best SVU units in the country. However, I want you also to reach out to other major cities so that we can try and merge everything that they do well; after all, we do want to try and make a change. And by creating a course to help other cities create special victims units, I think that would be great. Now, I know that you're on maternity leave; I am more than okay with you taking charge of this venture, with Jay's help.
However, I also know why you are e-mailing me; and I think it's due to the fact that you believe that you might need funds for this venture, and I agree that you may definitely need funds for this venture. And that's why I am going to ask you to please send me a report that can let me know what type of resources that you need, and whether you want to hire some people to help you create the course; because I am more than okay with that, because of what you need to do. However, I would like to be kept in the loop when it comes to what you plan on doing. Thanks for being so innovative and thoughtful of what we can offer, when it comes to courses.
Keep up the good work, but make sure that you take time for yourself as well; you need to relax, and you need to make sure that you recover from everything that you and Jay have gone through. And that's why I want you to try and limit yourself, and just relax; or at least do it with Jay's help. I want you guys to do this together, and I want you guys to keep me in the loop. Thanks again Alex.
Sincerely, Matt.

Hitting send on the e-mail, Matt smiled due to the fact that he was glad that he was able to send an e-mail so easily; there's just something about him being able to write e-mails that is so much easier, than him saying anything. But still, that doesn't mean that he doesn't like talking to people as that's how they get the most information out quickly. And even better, it's in writing, which is everything that they need to do, because that way they can use this in legal cases in case somebody tries to do this first. And that makes him wonder whether he should try and patent this prior to them releasing any information about this, which is why Matt needs to send another e-mail out right now. But first, he's going to let Alex give him information; that way, they know what they need to patent. And right now, they just need to relax; and they need to take it easy, while also just relaxing. And that's exactly what Matt should be doing right now, while holding Gabby in bed; but he still thinks that this is exactly what he needed to do at the time, due to the fact that they are both still grieving. And he just hoped that Gabby wasn't awake yet, as he may get in trouble. And he was.
"So, you decided to come do a bit of work?" Turning around to look at his wife as he heard her, Matt sighed due to the fact that he hadn't expected her to wake up. "Hey, when did you wake up?" Smiling at the love of her life, Gabby got close to the man she loves so that she can hold him close. After which, she wrapped her arm around his back and looked at him. "What are you doing down here?" Smiling, Matt turned his head and then went to show Gabby that he was just doing some e-mail work. "I was doing work on some e-mails, if that's okay." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I know that you need to keep the business running." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before deciding to get up so that he can hug her; at the same time, he got close to her and smiled as he wrapped his arms around her. At the same time, Gabby got close to the man she loves and put her hands on his arms; she then leaned in and proceeded to kiss the man she loves. "What was the e-mail about?" Matt smiled as Gabby as she asked him that. "How about me and you head back upstairs, and we can talk about that? I can make you some lunch." Gabby agreed with Matt. "Work still?"
Matt shrugged. "Not sure yet. What do you want me to do?" Gabby smiled. "As long as I can spend some time with you, that's all that matters to me." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, and I will make sure to hold you in my arms the entire time; I just want you to relax at the same time, but we do need to talk." Gabby agreed with Matt and just smiled as she got close to the man she loves. At the same time, Matt bent down and kissed the top of her head. "Where are the boys?" Matt smiled. "Your mom took them out for a walk in their stroller, as she wanted to get some exercise; then, she's going to put them down for a nap." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was exactly what they need to do right now; they need to put the boys down, and they need to take a nap. But that's not all Matt and Gabby need to do, as they need to relax and hold each other close, which is the exact reason why Gabby just decided to get in Matt's lap, and cuddled up to the man of her dreams as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Putting his hand on her leg, Matt smiled as he turned his head and looked up at his wife.
Matt then leaned up, before kissing the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; at the same time, Gabby grabbed the back of his head and took things nice and slow with her dreamy husband. "I love you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him she loves him, and he most definitely feels the same way. "I love you too, and I'm sorry for working; but Alex just sent me an e-mail, which I thought I had to read. And I am so glad that I read it, because she wants to do something that I am fully behind." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, seeing a certain sparkle in his eye that made her feel like he was really liking the idea of the project; after which, she moved her hand to the back of his head once again. Bending down, Gabby smirked as she proceeded to kiss Matt once again. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smirked as he's really happy. "Do you want to do anything? Do you feel like you rested enough?" Gabby smiled as she moved her hand to the side of her loving husband's head, as that's something that she wanted to do right now. She wanted to hold the man she loves close to her, and she wants to make sure that they take it easy.
"So, what are we going to do?" Matt smiled as Gabby asked him what they were going to do, as he thought about what he wanted to do; and that was just go relax with her in their room. "What do you say you go upstairs? I'll make us some lunch and come upstairs. I like this smile by the way." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before bending down so that she could kiss him again. Taking things nice and slow with the man she loves, Gabby smiled due to the fact that this is everything that she wants right now. Bending down, Gabby smiled as she proceeded to kiss him softly. Taking things nice and slow with the man of her dreams, Gabby smirked. "Listen, I'm going to go upstairs and just relax in bed; how about you make us some pasta, that way we can have leftovers?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling as he watched her get up and start to walk away; at the same time, Matt reached for her hand and then got close to her. "Hey, come here first." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before getting close to the man she loves; at the same time, Matt led her towards the railing of their porch. And that was where he was going to kiss her.
XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Picking Gabby up from the porch, Matt set his beautiful wife down on the railing; after which, he got close to his beautiful wife and wrapped his arms around her. At the same time, Gabby put her hands on his chest and just smiled due to the fact that Matt truly is the man of her dreams; there's just something about him that always makes her smile, and that most certainly includes the fact that he's the love of her life. Moving his hands to her upper back, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is everything that he wants right now; after which, he started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. Just taking things nice and slow with his gorgeous wife, Matt smiled due to the fact that this is everything that they both want to do right now. They want to hold each other close, and she just wants to make sure that they take it easy. "God, I am so glad that you picked me up so that I could kiss you softly." Smiling as he heard Gabby say that, because that most definitely is something that Matt wants; after which, he leaned in and started to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves. "I love you so much, and I'm glad that we're here."
Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Now, I just want to know how you are; are you okay?" Gabby took a breath as Matt asked her whether she was okay, because that was something that they both needed to talk about. "Let me guess, you want to talk about that?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she wanted to talk about that, as that most definitely is something that they'll talk about. "I promise, we'll talk about it when we're upstairs; and we'll also talk about the idea that Alex sent us, if you want to change your mind. I just want to make sure that we relax." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before smiling as he leaned in and kissed her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is everything that they both want right now, to take things slow with each other. "Undressed when you're upstairs?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that she was going to want him to be in his boxers upstairs; and that most definitely is something that he's going to do with her. "I promise, I'm going to do that for you when I'm upstairs." Gabby agreed, smiling.
"You have a good nap though?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she had a good nap, as she most definitely did have a good nap. "Oh, I most definitely did. But listen, I want to go back to bed and relax." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Then how about you do that? You go relax in bed, and I will be upstairs soon; right after I make us some lunch." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "God, I am such a lucky woman to have you as my husband." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before getting close to her again; at the same time, he moved his hands to her stomach before kissing her softly. At the same time, Gabby put her hands on his chest and just took things nice and slow with the man she loves. "I love you so much." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I love you too Matt, and I am ready to just hold you close in bed." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smiling at his beautiful wife; before moving his hands to her neck and then proceeding to kiss his girl softly. Taking things nice and slow with her, Matt smirked as he was really happy.
"By the way, Alex sends her love over the news." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before moving to hug her. "Let me guess, that was some of the e-mails you were doing with? Some business?" Matt agreed. "Yes, I already told you that. Alex just wants to create something, and I like it. You remember Olivia Benson?" Gabby agreed. "Right, the NYPD Detective from SVU." Matt agreed. "Yes, we worked with her before. Alex wants to try and create a course that will help us train detectives and police departments to create an effective SVU department/division." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, liking that idea. "I like that idea, but I like the idea of me going up to bed and relaxing even more; can you maybe make me that pasta I like? The shrimp one?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether he can make them some shrimp pasta, as that most definitely is something that he can do for the woman he loves. "Of course, I can, but you need to go relax for me in return." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before kissing him softly. "I'm on my way up the minute you help me down." Matt smiled, agreeing with his gorgeous wife this afternoon.
At the same time, he stepped close to her and moved his hands to her neck; taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves afterwards, Matt just smiled as they are both really happy. "I love you Gabby, and I promise that we're going to take it easy." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Okay, help me down." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before doing just that; after which, Gabby started to walk away to go to bed. But first, Matt reached down and went to squeeze her butt as a way to tease her. "MATTHEW!" Smirking as he turned his head, Matt agreed with his beautiful wife. "See you soon." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before walking away so that she can go relax in bed once again; at the same time, Matt proceeded to make his way back over to the table so that he could pack up and get everything ready for him to bring it inside. Then, he'll put it in his office; ahead of him making some lunch and going upstairs so that he can go spend time with his wife. He'll spend time with her, and he'll hold her close as they comfort each other after everything that they've dealt with recently.
