I walked through the reception , removing my glasses off my face as I swiped my new card against the elevator so that I could get inside. I watched as it moved downwards from the thirty second floor all the way to the ground floor , where i was.
A loud ding sounded as the elevator came to a halt , I stepped inside , pressing the number for the same floor that i went to a few days ago when i first came here.
Just as the doors began to close , the click - clacking sound of heels could be heard from a few steps away and a small hand shoved its way through , causing the doors to open once more .
Kamryn Hart , she shimmied her way inside , her arms were full of large folders that she was clearly struggling to hold. I tried to hold back my smile as she cursed , one of the folders had slipped out her grasp and had slid onto the floor.
I reached down to pick it up , not noticing Kamryn had decided to do the same thing , our hands brushed together lightly. She moved her hand back , allowing me pick it up first , she gave me a small smile "Thank you" she thanked.
Her voice was so soft yet confident . I looked over at her , taking in her appearance ,her hair was straight today and fell all the way down to her lower back. She wore a simple white long sleeve with a tight black skirt that stopped above her knee, on her feet were some plain black Louis Vuitton heels.
She made such a simple outfit look so good , I gave her a small smile in return "No problem" I replied .
I noticed her glancing over at me from time to time "That nigga still been bothering you?" I asked , starting to stir up some conversation.
She concealed a smile "Who Jackson? " she let out a small giggle "No he hasn't even spoken to me since the other day" she finished . I nodded , a small smirk playing on my lips "Good.." I responded.
Kamryn cleared her throat "I'm Kamryn by the way" she introduced , using her free hand to shake mine. I took her hand into mine "I'm Mizani Peirce " i say back telling her my last name aswell , using my middle name , she smiled as we shook hands.
"So Mizani .. why do I keep running into you around here?" she asked , I tried to focus of the actual question but my eyes wandered down to her full, glossed lips.
I couldn't help but smile at the way my name rolled off her tongue so effortlessly. She made is sound so good , i could only imagine what she would sound like mo-.
I blinked , snapping myself out of my daydream "I'm trying to finalize a deal with Mark Arlo , he likes to call me in for meetings sometimes" I reply , being slightly vague about why i'm here but she doesn't need to know all the details.
She nodded , satisfied with my answer , "Sounds exciting" she answered sarcastically . I looked down and let out a small laugh , thinking back to the meeting we had last week "Very".
I looked over at her "What about you? , what do you do here?" I asked her , she looked over , her eyes meeting mine. "Nothing too crazy , I handle the statistics and the products that gets traded." she spoke , adverting her eyes.
I take a few folders from her , she was obviously getting tired of holding all of them , "Sounds exciting" I say , mimicking her then a small red tint covers her cheeks as she catches on to my lil joke .
We both look up as the elevator dings , letting us know that its stopped at another floor, however unlike last time no one got on .
We both then look over at each other , at the same time , she quickly breaks the eye contacting making me chuckle . "Why you keep doing that?" I asked , one thing i don't like doing is beating around the bush.
"Doing what?" she asks back , confused , I shake my head "You keep avoidin' eye contact with me" I answer . She looks down at her heels , shuffling slightly maneuvering the folders in her hands "Oh.." she spoke but still not answering my question.
I smirked slightly " you still doing it .. I make you nervous or sum?" I tease , it was funny watching get all flustered , not knowing what to say.
She took her bottom lip between her teeth before looking up at me "No , I'm just not used to people staring at me" she answers. My smile widens slightly "Ight" i say as a response , a smile similar to mine begins to grown on her face just as the elevator dings . This time it happens to be the floor she's getting off at.
Kamryn walks out "You can follow me to my office to put the folders down" she suggests as she leads the way through the corridor. I let out a small "mhm" as we make it the her office , she opens the door wide so we could both get inside before shutting it back.
I looked around as i set the folder down on her glass desk , her office was nice as hell. It had ceiling - to floor windows that overlooked the city and a desk that was placed directly in front of it so she could take in the view.
She had an orchid on her desk along with her computer and Ipad , on the other side of the room was a small grey couch with white decorative pillows on it.
There were fairy lights that were hung along the wall it rested on , and a small mini fridge and bookshelf on the opposite wall.
It was decorated to fit her vibe , she turned to me , "Thanks for helping me carry that stuff up here " she said , I waved her off "Nah It's cool" I assured . She gave me another grateful smile before she put the folders into a box that rested on her bookshelf.
"Do you have to go to your meeting straight away or can you chill with me for a bit?" she asked, which took me a little by surprise but nevertheless , I nodded "Nah i can stay wit you for a bit" I said as i sat down on the couch, being careful not to put my shoes on the white rug that was sprawled out underneath her coffee table.
"Great , did you want water or anything?" she said gesturing to the mini fridge , I shook my head "I'm good right now , you can come sit wit me though" I said making room for her next to me.

I laid back against the couch , taking a sip of the juice Kamryn gave me "So you have over 20 tattoos all over your body?" she asked, I nodded .
Ever since we started talking in here shes been fascinated by the ink that covered my body "Yeah , and every single one means something , I feel like if you're gonna have sum on you forever it should be meaningful"
She nodded , agreeing "So what does this one mean?" She wondered as she leaned forward to touch the tattoo on the side of my face that read '𝓕𝓮' . I smiled at the memory of me getting it "It means Faith , It was a matching tat i got with my sister" she nodded .
She smiled "Awe you have a sister? , older or younger?" she asked , i smiled back "yeah I do her names Peach , shes a few years older than me" I say .
"Do you have any siblings?" I question , she nods "Yup an older sister named Brynn " I nod back.
Her attention is then drawn back to my tattoo as she catches another glance of it , "Whatchu think of it ?" I asked , intrigued on her opinion. Although , i can tell she likes it.
"I love it , its pretty" she mumbled as she gently traced over the cursive letters , her gentle touch causing goosebumps to raise on my neck as her acrylics swiped against my face.
Once i turned to face her , we both realized how close she was to me ; a small smirk came across my face as her eyes flickered down to my lips.
She was so beautiful I couldn't help but allow my eyes to drop down to her plump lips , I know what she wanted because I wanted the same thing .
I've never been the typa nigga to have one night stands or just fuck any and everybody .. but with the way she was looking at me I might have to make an exception .
The tension between us was thick and smothering , It was like my body couldn't hep but react whenever she would would touch me which is exactly why .. I leaned in slowly as she did the same , our lips gently brushing against each others , both of us silently begging for the other to move in closer.
I took control and placed my lips on hers , her lips were soft and the way she kissed back was gentle and soft.
We continued to kiss as our lips moved together harmoniously , savoring the feeling , my tongue slipped between her lips and just like that - the energy shifted.
From an innocent , gentle kiss to passionate and aggressive.
I reached my hand up to her throat as she deepened the kiss, my lips moving away from hers and now they traveled down to her neck.
I unbuttoned her shirt a little bit and left soft kisses from her jaw down to her collarbone , I could hear her raged breaths and shaky moans escaping from her mouth as i laid her back against the couch.
Everything was happening so fast , but shit , i'm not complaining . Her legs wrapped around my waist automatically , like it was an instinct ; she fit with my body perfectly . Like two puzzle pieces that were designed to connect.
Her hands raked through my hair as i began to gentle suck on her neck , her breaths increased and became quicker and more shallow. I reached my hand back down to continue to unbutton her shirt , just for her hand to reach out and stop me "Wait , stop" she says quickly.
I pull away at those words and lean back against the back of the couch , as she lays down still while tryna regulate her breathing.
She shoots up from her position and sits up , beginning to button her shirt back up and flatten her hair back down "I'm sorry , We can't do this here , it's unprofessional .. I could lose my job" she speaks , panicked as she walks over to the mirror she has mounted on the wall "Plus i barely know you and.." she trails off.
I nodded "Yeah , you right , my bad Ma " i apologies , feeling partially responsible even though i didn't care about none of that , I couldn't care less if one of them mufukas even came in while I was fucking her but still I understood where she was coming from .
She let out a sigh "No its okay Mizani , don't apologies , i didn't mean to lead you on like that" she reassures while she fixes her shirt.
I fix my tie and the rest of my suit and get ready to walk out "Look , I get that we really don't know each other but I'm not gon' lie .. i'm tryna get to know yo more " I mention "Lemme get yo number" I finish.
She sighs and looks down "Mizani.. i'm sorry but i can't .. " she says , hesitantly.
I nod slowly , trying not to show my emotion on my face, what i really wanted to say was fuck you mean you can't ..?
But instead I gave her a curt nod before making my way out the room and towards the meeting room , not even bothering to say goodbye.
You got a nigga in yo office , sucking on yo neck and shi but you draw the line at giving me yo line. Typa shit is that?
I get she probably wasn't the type of woman to do stuff like that but if that was the case then why start it in the first place ?
I enter the elevator and look down at my pants , I reached down and quickly and tucked my dick into the waistband of my pants - hoping no one would notice. Damn.. i thought as i slid a hand down my face , this gon be a long ass day.
