Hi Readers: What did you guys think of the first chapter that I posted for you guys today? I hope that you guys liked it and are ready for another chapter right now. So, what do you say we get right to it? Here we go with Chapter One Hundred and Sixty-Two, which starts with the answer to the question that Matt asked Gabby at the end of last chapter; god, don't we love good teasers? Enjoy.

"Comfortable?" He was kidding right? Did he really need to ask her that question? Those were the exact thoughts that were currently going through Gabby's head, as the question that her (loving) husband just asked her was really stupid; then again, maybe he really meant that. God, the way that he phrased it makes her wonder so many things, as it could be a question that is just a courtesy (and just something that he asks her because it's second nature); then again, shouldn't he know how to make her comfortable? And this sure is something that she hates, how she's taking so much time to answer; and she can only imagine how Matt's thinking at the moment, not that she has to wait long before she actually finds out how he's thinking. "Earth to Gabby? Did you hear the question that I just ask you?" Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether she heard him ask her that question, the question that she finds a bit ridiculous; but you already know that, and you also know the reasons why the question isn't necessary. If there's one thing that Matt can always be guaranteed, it's the fact that she's always going to be comfortable in his arms; where she feels safe, and happy.
"Baby, of course I'm comfortable; you never need to ask me that question, because you will always know the answer to that question. I mean, why wouldn't I be comfortable when I'm in my loving husband's arms? The man whom I love more than anything in the entire world, and when I'm laying down in the place where I feel safe?" Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before bringing her against his chest some more; at the same time, Gabby put her hands on his chest and smiled as she leaned in and kissed the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. After which, he ran his hand up and down her side (specifically making sure to spend some time with his fingers on her stomach); that way, he can interact with his daughters. And boy, is that something that the both of them love more than anything in the entire world; that being due to the fact that they're his baby girls, and they will always be his baby girls. And it's also why they're going to just stay here for the entire day...especially when it's what their mommy needs him do to. She needs to relax, and just hold him close to her in their bed, which is something that Matt is more than ready to do for Gabby today.
They are both still mourning for the loss of their son, and they need to concentrate on each other; and only each other today, even though they would also love to be with the boys. And that's something that the parents just wish they could make their sons understand right now, the fact that they want to be with them more than anything in the entire world; but right now, they just need to be together after something quite tragic has shaken them to their core. The news that they lost another child has really done a number on them, and both Matt and Gabby need to take this time with each other; and they are so grateful for their family, who are making sure that their sons are taken care of...and that means that Matt has the ability to give all of his love and attention to Gabby, who really needs it right now. She needs to have all of his love and attention concentrated on her, and she's just happy that it's what she's in the midst of getting right now, which is something that Matt can see, simply by looking into those beautiful eyes of hers. Which is something that he's been doing constantly since they got the news, as it's how they are currently communicating with each other.
As much as Gabby wants to voice how she's feeling right now, she just doesn't feel like she has the ability to do so; because she's still trying to figure everything out herself, and how to even express herself. And that's something that Matt understands, because he's had to do it in the not-too-distant past; he had to do the same when he had to confess that he thought (and later got diagnosed) with PTSD to Gabby, and it was the best feeling in the entire world. To get that feeling off his chest, to get that news off his chest; it truly felt like a huge weight was lifted off of his shoulders, and he can't help whether that's something that Gabby's currently dealing with. Whether she feels like she just has so much on her mind, that she doesn't feel like she has the ability to talk to him; the man whom she should always feel like she can talk to her about, both because he's her husband...and the man who loves her more than anything in the entire world. And that's the exact message that Matt hopes to convey to Gabby, as he prepares to speak to her right now; as he prepares to tell her that he wants her to talk to him about what's on her mind, and to get her to open up to him some more. She has to do that.
If not, she'll go crazy; and it will just make things worse for her, because they both know that's the case. As much as Gabby believes that she can be superwoman and deal with everything on her own, she can't; and that means that she needs to talk to somebody about everything, which he's more than okay with doing for her. He loves her more than anything in the entire world, and they've had hard conversations before; like the conversations that they had to have with each other while they were in the RV, and they were fine after they had them. In fact, they found themselves coming out of those conversations feeling like they've made it past a storm; and like they've really made their marriage stronger, and they can do the same by having some conversations that aren't exactly the same as (but are similar to) those they had in the RV right now. "Gabby, I hope you know that you can talk to me; because I feel like you're trying to be a bit distant from me, to protect me from something. And I hope you know that you don't need to do that, because I don't need to be protected from anything; not when I want to help you through this, just like I hope you're let me do that for you."
Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after all, that's his job as her husband, and she's never going to stop him from doing his job. A job that he always does to the best of his abilities, and that she's always so proud of him for doing; he's truly the best husband in the entire world, and an amazing father as well. And that's why she always calls herself lucky to call herself the Ms. to his Mr. Casey, a title that she plans on having for the rest of her life; until the day they die in each other's arms, hopefully here in Hawaii. "I know that you're here for me, and I am just taking a moment to breathe; because it's still hard to figure out just what I want to say, because I'm still deal..." Gabby then started to get a bit emotional, which is more than expect to happen right now; because this is what Matt was really talking about, the fact that she's being so stoic when it comes to holding back her emotions. And that truly is the last thing that he wants her to do, he wants her to be open (and vulnerable) with him; because he wants to console her, hold her, and make her feel better in the way that he knows how to do better than anybody in the entire world.
And that's because he and Gabby know each other well, that they just need to hold each other; that's it, that's all they need to do to make each other feel better. And that's not something that they can do easily, and it's taken time for them to get so close that they can really just do that; and that all started when they got married, which is something that Gabby still loves more than anything in the entire world. That she and Matt are married, and that they're in this life together, for the rest of their lives, with their children. "I just have a lot on my mind that I have to deal with." Matt agreed with Gabby as he wrapped his arm around her back some more, before moving his head so that their foreheads were right against one another's; at the same time, Gabby moved her hand to Matt's arm and smiled as this really is exactly what she wants to do with the man she loves. This is how she wants to be held, and how she wants him to make her feel better; because this is the best feeling in the entire world, the feeling of the man she loves holding her close. Oh, and kissing her too; can't forget the fact that Matt is currently in the midst of kissing her, and just taking things nice and slow with her.
Oh, the way that her man is currently kissing her truly is perfect, and it makes her so happy that Matt is her husband; because that means that she's the only woman who will ever get a chance to kiss her dreamy husband like she is right now, which is the best way in the entire world. Continuing to take things nice and slow with him as they kiss each other, Matt and Gabby both smirked due to the fact that they both really are happy when it comes to what they're in the midst of doing right now; and how they're taking this time to grieve for the baby that they just lost, their baby boy. Also, it may give Matt a chance to talk to Gabby about how she's feeling about the facts of her case right now; and the fact that she's currently still carrying their (late) son, and whether that makes her feel bad. But it's a topic that's really hard to talk about, because they both know that it's a tragic situation; and that it's going to cause them both to have a bunch of emotions from the moment one of them bring it up, if they ever want to talk about it today. But at the end of the day, they both know that it is something that they need to talk about; because it's literally all they can both think about right now.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Looking at Gabby as she asked him whether she wants to talk about it, Matt took a breath before nodding. "I was literally just thinking about asking you that, because I want to check on you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; after all, he's her husband and will always want to check on her. Because that's the type of husband that he is, he's the type of husband that always wants to make sure that his family is okay; even when he needs to also check on himself, which is something that Matt most definitely needs to do (which Gabby is going to make sure that he does while they're holding each other in bed). Because the last thing that she's going to let happen, is to let her husband only console her as she grieves; she wants to be here for him at the same time, since they're alone right now. They have a chance to be alone so that they can grieve, and Gabby doesn't want Matt to think that he can get away with not talking to her; because that's not going to happen. "And I want to check on you too, because you aren't getting out of not talking about this; not when I know that this is affecting you too baby." Matt agreed.
"I know, but I do promise that we're going to talk about this; but we're going to start with you, because you're the one that's really hurt the most. I mean..." Gabby took a breath as she heard Matt say that, well aware of just what he was referring to; he's referring to the fact that she's still carrying their child, even though he's no longer viable. "I know, because I'm still carrying the baby." Matt sighed as he said that, well aware that's the case; he then put his hand on her side and stroked it with his thumb, hoping that will calm her down enough so that she can open up to him. After all, that's what he wants her to do right now; he wants her to open up to him, and he wants her to just kiss him softly as they talk. "
Gabby, I'm not going anywhere right now; and I'm not going to give up on talking to you about this, because I want to talk about this at least once today." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case, which she showed him by putting her hand on her side and slipping close to him, after which she kissed him softly this morning. "I know baby, because we need to; I already know that's a fact, and I promise that we are going to talk about it. Because I want to."
Matt couldn't help but smile as he heard Gabby say that she wanted to talk to him about what they both know that they need to talk about, because that truly is progress; he knows that they've both been scared to talk about it since they got the news yesterday, but they also need to just take it easy. And that's something that he made sure to show Gabby, doing so by kissing her softly and just taking things nice and slow with her. And boy did Gabby love the feeling of his lips on hers, because that's something that she's always going to love; especially when he's kissing her because he wants to make her feel better, which most definitely is something that he's in the midst of doing right now. He's making her feel better, by showering her with the kisses that she wants him to give her; and she's just glad to be here in bed with her. The truth was, she wasn't sure whether he was really going to just want to lay down here all day. "You're sure that you're okay with us just staying in bed today right?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him whether he was really okay with them just staying in bed today, because he most certain was. It's exactly what they both need to do with each other today.
"I am, because this is what we need to do Gabby; we need to take it easy, and we just need to relax together. You need to take it easy, and we need to make sure that we feel better." Gabby agreed. "So that we can get back to business." Grabbing Gabby's hand, Matt hated that she even thought that way, because that's not who he is right now. He's not a businessman, he's her husband; and that's all he is, because that's what she needs him to be right now. She needs him to be her husband, and nothing else. "Hey, look at me." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, doing just that for the man she loves. "I never want you to think that I'm just doing this so that we can just get back to business, because that's the last thing that I'm doing; I'm doing this because it's part of my main job in life, which is to be your husband and the boys' daddy. Those are my first two jobs in life. Me being a businessman comes last and will always come last when it comes to situations like these; and you should know that Gabby, because that's been the case ever since we started the business. I have always put us first, and I have done what's the best for our family, including moving us to Hawaii from LA."
Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; and she just felt horrible that she even tried to think the way she did, because she knows that's not why Matt is doing this. And she decided to show him that by getting close to him and moving against his chest; and let's just say that's something that Matt loves, because it gives him a chance to just be with the woman he loves. Grabbing the sheets as he felt Gabby slip her slips in between his (and wrap her arms around his neck), Matt smiled as this is exactly what he wants to do right now; but first, he needs to take off his shirt. "Can I take off the shirt? I want to hold you close, and just..." Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her whether he can take off her shirt, because that's exactly what she wants him to do; she wants him to take off her shirt, and she wants to feel him run his hand all over her body. "Yes, you can take it off; because I want to feel you run your hand all over my body." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before going to take off the shirt that she's wearing; starting with the buttons, before eventually just moving to slip it off her body and throwing it onto the ground so they can be intimate.

Holding Gabby close to him as soon as her (his) shirt was on the ground, Matt smiled due to the fact that he was currently in the midst of holding his beautiful wife extremely close to him; and because they're also very comfortable with each other, which is exactly what they need right now. They need to hold each other close, and just be comfortable with each other; something that they both already know is a fact, which is why Matt was more than okay with taking off Gabby's shirt for her. Because he knows that being intimate with him makes her very comfortable, and that's what they both want; they both want her to be comfortable, and for her to just be happy. And right now, that was what Matt was making her; he was making her happy, which is something that she's grateful for. For him to just take time away to concentrate all of his love and attention on her, it's the best feeling in the entire world; and she's positive that he already knows that, which is why she decided not to mention it. But that didn't mean that Matt didn't want to mention the fact that he was happy over what they're both in the mist of doing right now, as he was really happy over what they're doing today.
Moving his hand to Gabby's hip, Matt smiled as he held her close and then turned his head to look down at his wife (who was currently cuddling up to him as much as she could); and god, the sight of her doing this is so perfect...and the exact reason that he started to wonder whether he even needed to say something, when he could just do something instead. And what exactly could he do? Well, that would be bend down and kiss the woman he loves (and craves) more than anything in the entire world; and let's just say that made Gabby even happier, as it just led her to smile even bigger as she put her hand on his neck and took things slow with him. "God, you are really earning me later." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before leaning his forehead against hers. After which, he moved to lean over her so that he can kiss her again, rolling her over onto her back at the same time, while also kissing her slowly. "Are you sure? Because I don't just want to do it so that you can feel better." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, because she most definitely does want Matt to make love to her; she wants him to take things nice and slow with her and make her feel better.
"I want you to show me love, in the most intimate way possible." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before tugging her body against his chest. "Just remember that you can always change your mind." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, before wrapping her arms around his neck; after which, she started to take things nice and slow with the man she loves. At the same time, Matt rolled over on top of Gabby and moved his hand to her neck; taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt just smirked due to the fact that he loves taking things nice and slow with Gabby.
Another thing he likes to do? He likes to tease her, which he just started to do by bending down and moving his lips to her neck. Moving her hand to Matt's neck as soon as he bend down to kiss her neck, Gabby moaned as that was hot. "God, I am so glad that you just did that." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby tell him that, feeling the same way. "I'm glad that I did it too, because I know it's making you feel better." Gabby agreed with Matt, as it most definitely is. "Can you just take it slow with me for a while baby?" Turning his head, Matt leaned his forehead against Gabby's and smiled at her.
After which, he bent down and kissed her softly. "Of course I can." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, glad that they were going to take things slow with each other; but under no circumstances does she want to have sex, which she made clear to Matt. "No sex, promise?" Matt agreed with Gabby as she asked him to promise her that they don't have sex with each other. "Hey, that's not something that you need to worry about. I know that you don't want to have sex Gabby, so we aren't going to have sex; we're going to relax, and we're going to take it easy with each other. Those are my only plans for today. I mean, unless you're having second thoughts when it comes to whether you even want me on top of you?" Gabby shook her head. "No, I want this baby. I do." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that. "Then trust me not to push my limits, the limits that I know better than anybody." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, trusting her husband to know the limits that they've set for each other; just enjoying the feeling of him kissing her.
Because that's exactly what Matt started to do as soon as he reassured her that he wasn't going to push it, and that he was just going to take things nice and slow with her; because that's what his girl wants him to do, she wants him to take things slow as he kisses her. That's all she want shim to do right now, so that's all he's going to do; and that's because Matt loves her more than anything, which also means that he refuses to go any further than his wife wants him to go. Especially when she's currently grieving and hurting; the entire point of this intimate time that they're sharing with each other is not to have sex, but for him to give her comfort and show her that he loves her more than anything in the entire world. If Matt wanted sex, then he wouldn't have gotten on top of her; because he knows better, and he knows that they aren't going that far for a while. Heck, he can even wait until she gives birth; because that's what a gentleman, and a husband who loves his wife does for the woman of his dreams. He follows her wishes and makes her happy.
He doesn't just please himself or do what he wants with her when they're in bed; a husband doesn't 'own' his wife, nor does he have the right to make love to her whenever he wants to make love to her. Rather, he needs to have her permission, and he needs to make sure that she's okay with them being intimate with each other; and that most certainly includes when they're in the hospital, because no husband wants to embarrass his wife (by making her moan his name).
