At the Destiny's Bounty, the Ninja are sleeping, but the alarm clock starts blaring, waking them up.
"Ugh" Cole hits his head on the top bunk.
"Aah!" Jay falls off his bed
Kai throws something at the clock, making it hit a gramophone and makes it louder. The Ninja groan, but Zane, being a Nindroid, is unaffected by the noise. Lloyd uses his Energy to destroy it.
"Is it Wednesday already?" Lloyd questions
"Sunrise exercise. I hate sunrise exercise" Jay complains
Wu comes in, ringing a mini gong "Ah. Good morning, morning, morning! Up, up. It's a new day, students"
"Where's Aria?" Kai asks noticing her bed empty
"She is running an errand for me" Wu replies and faces the ninja "Now before we begin sunrise exercise, I noticed the Dragon made another mess outside. It looks like a two-person job, hehe"
"Uh, what was that, Sensei?" Cole questions
"Did I hear an SOS call come in? Kai asks
"I sense I need to be somewhere else" Zane says
Jay smiled "Lloyd, haha. I'm sure you got this, heh"
"Aww, you might've been able to dump chores on me when I was smaller, but I'm grown up now. That's not fair!" Lloyd argues
Kai sighs "You're right, Lloyd. We need to settle this like men. With a round of Rock, Paper, Clamp! Okay, on three! One, two, three!"
Lloyd chooses rock but everyone else chose paper.
"Haha, paper beats rock!" Jay laughs
"How does paper beat rock?" Lloyd groans

"Break!" Aria shouts "Unseal! Do something please!"
Wu walks into the training room to see Aria in the middle of a magic circle "What in Ninjago are you doing child?
"Uh.." Aria deactivates the magic circle "Well, I'm trying to see.. it's complicated.. just nothing's happening!"
"What are you talking about?" Wu asks confused
"The other day this appeared," Aria turns around and shows Wu her back where their was a strange symbol on it "I thought it had something to do with my powers."
"I see..." Wu walks over and pats her head "don't worry too much about it"
"You've been wanting me to use my powers and now all of a sudden that we can physically see a mark, you don't want me to worry about it?" Aria questions confused
"The only way to remove that mark is to get the one who placed it on you to remove it" Wu tells her "and that's.. your father"
Aria looks away "my father huh?"
"Sensei Wu! Aria!" Kai shouts from down the hall "the Museum's calling for us!"
"We're coming!" Aria shouts back to him

The Ninja reach the museum.
"Oh, thank heavens you're here!" the Curator says
"We heard there was an emergency?" Wu questions
"Yes, come, come. Quickly, this way" the Curator leads them down a hall "The Stone Warrior exhibit opens to the public tonight, and this couldn't have come at a worse time"
"Uh, what couldn't have come at a worse time?" Kai asks
"Ninjago City appreciates your help in destroying The Great Devourer some time back, but it appears its toxic venom has seeped into the city sewer system and has had the most unusual after-effect" the Curator replies
The Curator opens the doors to the gift shop revealing the transformed merchandise "The toxicity in the venom somehow brought our merchandise to life! They're so unruly. I just don't know who else to call!"
Zane gets hit by one of the figurines "Ah!"
"We've got this covered. I think we can handle a few toys" Jay tells the Curator
"And please, could you contain the fighting to the gift shop? The doors to the new exhibit will be opening soon. Thank you" the Curator closes the doors and let the Ninja do their job.
"Alright. Playtime's over. Ninja, go!" Kai uses Spinjitzu.
Aria looked worried "I don't-"
"Ninja, go!" the other ninja do the same thing, only to destroy the entire gift shop.
"Uh, oops" Zane rubs the back of his neck
"why don't you idiots ever listen to me" Aria complains
"sorry Aria" the ninja all say to her
"Hahaha! Whoo! Hahaha!" A figurine escapes the room and Wu chases after it.
"It's hard to fight something more then half your height" Aria complains
The ninja all exit the room and when they turn the corner they see Wu talking to a women.
Jay Clears his throat as the Ninja approach them "So, uh, you gonna introduce us?"
Wu clears his throat "Uh, yes. This is Misako, Lloyd's mother"
Everyone gasps.
"My...my mother?" Lloyd asks
"Ah. Lloyd? My little boy. You're so much bigger than I remember" Misako says happily walking over to him
"Yeah, well, it's been a long time" Lloyd says taking a step back from her
"I didn't want us to meet like this. I have a reason why I've been away" Misako tries to explain reaching out to him
"I don't wanna hear it" Lloyd grabs Aria's hand and walks away pulling her with him.
"Lloyd, wait. Please!" Misako shouts
Lloyd closes the door behind them.
Misako turns to Wu "that girl.."
"Is Aria" Wu tells her "she's grown up a lot since you last saw her"
"What is she doing here?" Misako asks looking a bit worried "I thought she was with-"
"She has been training with me since the accident" Wu says
"She looks so much like Layla" Misako looks sad
"Indeed she does" Wu agrees
The ninja look at each other confused. Misako soon heads off to find Lloyd, they find him at the Bottomless Pit exhibit. Aria was looking in curiously while Lloyd was holding onto her waist making sure she didn't fall in.
"I'd watch your step. That sinkhole doesn't have a bottom. It's where I found the ancient Stone Warrior" Misako says as she walked over
Aria looks at her curiously "It doesn't have a bottom?"
"One of the mysteries in life I suppose" Misako smiles
"Lloyd can I see?" Aria asks him hopefully
"No you dummy" Lloyd flicks her forehead "You'll get stuck in there"
"So mean" Aria pouts before looking back at the bottomless pit
Misako looks at Lloyd "son I-"
"Uh, "son?" You've been gone my whole life! There's nothing you can say" Lloyd argues not even turning around to look at her
Misako sighs "Well, I'm going to talk anyway. You wanna know what I've been doing all this time? Long before Sensei Wu ever knew who would be the Green Ninja, I knew it would be you. And I knew you would eventually have to fight your father. I dropped you off at the Boarding School so I could go learn everything I could about the prophecy, in hope of one day preventing the final battle. Of good and evil. All this time, son, I've been trying to save you and your father. Long before time had a name, Ninjago was created by the First Spinjitzu Master—"
"Yeah, yeah. We've heard this story a hundred times" Lloyd interrupts
"But you've only heard half of it. In Ninjago, there has always been balance between good and evil. So you know about how the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago, but what if I were to tell you in order for there to be light, there must be shadow, and within shadow, there is darkness. The blackest of darkness that existed from the very beginning. An evil spirit called The Overlord."
Aria glances over at her.
Misako continues "The balance was at stake, and their battle could have gone on for eternity. Each side powerful, neither could conquer the other until the Overlord created his indestructible warriors: the Stone Army. The Spinjitzu Master did what he could, but he knew he would soon be defeated. So instead of losing the war, he divided Ninjago in two. And lucky for us, since then there has been no trace of the Overlord or his Stone Army, until Aria was born of course. Then-"
"Misako" Aria interrupts looking confused "What do you mean by, until i was born?"
The ninja look at each other, already knowing some events of the past.
"Well anyway" Misako smiles at Aria "the battle has yet to be decided, because it was never truly finished"
"But where is this Dark Island?" Cole asks "I've never heard of it"
"Disappeared, I presume" Misako replies "But the legend states that so long as the balance between good and evil remains even, the Overlord shall remain trapped from this world"
Aria hugs Lloyd and he pats her head
"You ok?" Lloyd whispers to her and she nods
"We have each felt the power of the First Spinjitzu Master, passed onto us in the form of the elemental weapons" Wu says "But now that power has been inherited by the Green Ninja, which is why only Lloyd can defeat the ultimate evil, or else all of Ninjago will fall prey to its darkness"
"And what are we" Aria gestures to her and the ninja "accessories?"
Wu chuckles and shakes his head
Misako looks at Lloyd "Leaving you was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But faced with saving you and the world, I had no other choice"
"...have you discovered a way to prevent me from facing my father?" Lloyd asks
"I'm sorry, not yet. But I have reason to believe there's still hope" Misako replies hopefully then turns to Aria "you've grown up well, you might not remember but when you were very little you used to visit me and Lloyd, when you trained with Garmadon."
Aria nods "I remember."
"You also used to call her mom too" Lloyd adds
"I did?" Aria looks confused
"Yes, but that will be explained at a later time" Misako smiles "you look like your mother you know, when she wasn't using her powers her hair was the same beautiful shade of gold like yours"
"Mother's hair changed color?" Aria asks curiously
"Yes it did" Misako replies "and-"
A giant Stone Warrior suddenly breaks in, shocking everyone.
"Whoa! Excuse me!? Would somebody please tell me what the heck is that!?" Jay shouts
"The Stone Warrior" Misako replies
"The Devourer's venom has awakened him!" Zane shouts
"Oh, great! Kai, take care of him" Cole commands
"Um, me? Okay, blockhead. Take this!" Kai takes out his sword and charges at it, his sword breaks from the impact "Well, in my mind's eye, I saw that playing out entirely differently"
"The Overlord created his Stone Army from an indestructible material only found on the Dark Island" Misako tells them
"Ah, great. You could've mentioned that earlier" Kai says
"Lloyd, use your powers" Wu instructs
Lloyd does so, and the Warrior is knocked back. The Ninja cheer, but it wasn't damaged.
"Wait a minute. How are we supposed to destroy this thing?" Cole asks
"You can't" Misako replies
"Hehe, easy big guy, maybe this is a sign you need to lose a few pounds, hehehe" Jay laughs nervously
"Jay don't make it angry" Aria complains
The Warrior pushes Jay back and he almost falls into the hole. Wu extended his Nin-Jô for him to grab. The Team except for Aria is thrown out of the room. The Stone Warrior bends down and stares at her.
"Uh.. why is it looking at me?!" Aria freaks out
"Aria!" Lloyd shouts
"This is gonna be much harder than a bunch of bobble-heads, fellas" Cole comments
"Aria hurry and run!" Jay shouts
Aria stood up and ran in between the giants legs and over to Lloyd and the other ninja. The Stone Warrior turns around and glares at the ninja.
"It just looks angrier!" Cole shouts
"Well, it's a good thing we're in a museum" Jay says
"Why do you say that?" Misako questions
"Cause we're all about to become history!" Jay shouts "Run!"
The ninja all run away and the Stone Warrior follows them. Soon it starts gaining on them.
"The guy's got a pair of sneakers on him. Pick up the pace, go, go, go!" Lloyd shouts
The Ninja run into a room and close the doors but the Warrior is slowly breaking it.
"Why is it chasing us?" Jay questions "their's a million places it could go"
"It thinks we're kidnapping it's young master" Misako tells them
"And what does that mean?" Lloyd asks
"Nothing" Misako and Wu reply simultaneously
The Stone Warrier breaks part of the door.
"That door ain't gonna hold him forever" Kai says worriedly
"Then let's settle this like men. With Rock, Paper, Clamp. Loser has to face him, so the rest can escape" Cole says and everyone including Lloyd and Aria, join "Nu-uh, not you two"
"oh come on" Aria crosses her arms and looks around before something pops in her head "...wait a minute I think I got it"
"What's it?" Wu questions
"If you guys can keep him busy, I think I know how to stop him" Aria says
Cole nods "I say we give the kid a shot"
"You're just saying that 'cause you're too afraid to face him" Jay argues
"Do you wanna face it?" Cole questions gesturing to the stone warrior
Jay looks over at it before turning back to them "I say we give the kid a shot"
Aria whispers to Lloyd, he nods in agreement "be careful"
"You know me" Aria climbs up "I never am" she goes though an air vent
"that girl is too reckless" Lloyd chuckles
"I can't believe that girl is his daughter" Misako mutters
"Don't forget, she's Layla's too" Wu smiles
"Layla used to have a kind heart, its a shame." Misako smiles as well "But she and Lloyd has had a good teacher"
"You mean teachers" Wu gestors to the other ninja

The Ninja are trying to distract the Warrior. Cole cuts some ropes, making a skeleton model fall on it. The Giant Stone Warrior emerges from the debris.
"You think Aria's ready with her plan?" Lloyd asks
"I hope so" Cole replies
The ninja run away and hide. The Stone Warrior looks around for them.
"Over here!" Aria shouts from down the hall
"Aria!" Lloyd shouts
The stone warrior turns and runs to Aria, who runs away with the Warrior following her. The ninja, Wu, and Misako quickly follow after her, as they reach a room they see the Warrior fall through the floor, revealing the Bottomless Pit.
"Of course, the Bottomless Pit" Misako says and looks at Aria "No matter how your relationship seems, your mother would be proud."
Aria walks over to them "I may not know anything about my father, but I know I've inherited something special from him." Lloyd runs over and hugs her as she looks over at the bottomless pit "but why was the Warrior so interested in me?"
