Atemu knew he needed to pull a victory and fast or his brother wouldn't be able to take any more of this brutal punishment. he had to come up with something for a winning strategy.
The guilt was hitting him hard now as he glanced to his brother he wasn't doing much good either.
3 turns had now passed and it was Diva's turn he was free to attack his dark magician girl, if Diva got this attack through, he'd lower atemu's life points by another 500 from 2000 if he got a straight hit.
Unknown to him Leo couldnt stand by and watch this horrendous moment then he turned to Kimiko and Heba. " Heba Kimiko, I need to get that pendant... keep me covered."
Kimiko was confused but nodded to her brother as she held Heba, Heba was the youngest out of the 3 and he was scared for his father and uncle he was more helpless he just knew they were all in danger as he clung to his elder cousin.
Diva was about to call his attack when Leo came runnung out straight into the middle battle, Atemu that caught the sight of his young nephew " Leo!!!"
Diva turned with a hiss as Little Leo bravely grabbed the pendent from in front of his father.
Yami's painful prison was broken freeing him.
This annoyed Diva, the anger rage through his vains. " You little bastard!!!" You will pay for this.."
Leo placed the pendent on the ground. " You will pay for hurtting my daddy." With that Leo stood with all his weight crushing the pendent under his feet. This inraged Diva even more.
Atemu was relieved as he looked to see that his brother was free from the pendants spell. But his mind turned to his young nephew brave yet foolish move.
"Leo Motou-Sennen that was an extremely foolish thing to do.... but I'm proud of you." Atemu said,
Leo beamed with the praise. He was about to leave when when Diva called his attack to hit not just Atemu but to attack young Leo.
"Leo!!!" Heba and Kimiko cried.
The now Free Yami looked up noticing only to see Leo in the middle of the dueling field.. He rushed as quickly as he could grabbing his young son out of harms way he had no time to speak with his son over his brave act.
He went straight for his brother. " I'm sorry atemu but he has to pay for this, I have to duel Diva.. I'm the one he truly wants you can hate me later but I need to take possession. "
Atemu didn't get to speak when he felt a cold blast go through him as he collapsed to the ground.
"What is this tricky!!' Diva snapped, he was now confused at the sudden movement then atemu woke up but Atemu was unconscious within mind. Yami had full control of Atemu body.
Outside Seto, Yugi and Nixie arrived, they could hear the commotion from inside. Seto had a bad feeling deep down as all three rushed in... but where in for a shock when they saw who was dueling.
It can't be...." Seto gasped in disbelief at the sight of the Late Yami Sennen stood before them dueling Diva.
" I play dark hole, it destroys all monsters on the field including your dark magician and mine, that leaves both of our fields wide open but I'm not done yet I call on another spell monster reborn and
I bring back Dark Magician to my side of the field, Now Diva Im ending this once and for all".
Diva snarled at his dead rival.
"I'll have him attack your final 2000 life points directly " he called.
Yami held Leo close as the final attack went throw, he hoped at least...
Diva's life points hit 0, he fell to his knees in defeat.
Heba and Kimiko turned to see welcoming sight of their parents taking their chance and ran to their parents.Heba was to excited to see Yugi that he pounced on him " Oh my little Heba, " Yugi cried clutching his little boy close.
Little Heba sobbing into Yugi. " Oh My precious baby boy... I'm here... Thank heaven your safe.."
Nixie picked up her sobbing shaking daughter who was now clinging onto her Mother "Mommy!!!" she cried. " Is okay my darling princess."
Yugi had looked up to see his husband who was standing over Diva speaking, He didnt see or hear what he said then he picked up with little Leo into his arms. As he made his way over to the three.
"Oh Atemu, Thank gods your safe. Yugi said rushing over to his husband with his young son in his arms, very much unware to him that Yami had taking over his brother's body..
Yami blinked and looked to Yugi for a brief moment.
"Atemu? You ok your scaring me?! "
Heba had a little warm smile across his face, giggling slightly Knowing it was his uncle.
"Uncle Y-Yami "he grinned.
Yami smirked at his little nephew with a chuckle " Little Heba got it in one!" he laughed, atemu was pretty much still within his mind but he was fine. " Yugi, Atemu is fine safe within his mind as I use his body.
He and Leo was in danger and I had no other choice. "
Yugi's mouth fell open in disbelief. "Wait, your telling me you possessed your brother's body How is this possible? "he paused before sighing " You know Atemu's not going to be happy you done this.. "
Yami grinned "he'll forgive me eventually plus he knew also I wasn't going to let my children get hurt now, was I?! "His eyes then drawn over to Nixie who held their daughter who was still clinging to her mother.
He smiled making his way over to speak with his beloved and the first time he would ever get to speak and see his young daughter.
Yugi was still in a slight daze at knowing that his brother-in-law had taken over his husband's body and that things most of gotten really bad for him to even allow it but he just sighed least he knew atemu was fine.
Yami placed Leo down on the ground, as Nixie then placed Kimiko down, Kimiko stay close to her Mother's side. Yami knelt down to his daughter's height "Glad to see you are unharmed my little princess." He held out his arms for her.
Kimiko looked up at her mother, feeling a little uneasy. Nixie nodded "Is okay sweetheart, go to him."
"DADDY!! " she pounced on him almost knocking him over. Yami smiled holding his daughter then along with his son.
Seto motioned Yugi out as he spoke quietly to him. " Yami will give Atemu control soon, he will want to give them there moment. "
Yugi looked rather surprised by his comment. "Wait the great Seto Kaiba now believes in the supernatural? HE FINALLY BELIEVES!!! " Yugi cheered a little too loudly as they left. Heba giggled.
Yami chuckled hard. "Thanks for ruining the moment Yugi, I'll make sure that Atemu gets you back for that. "
WORTH IT!!! " He waved as he left to give them their space.
Diva wasn't going to let Yami get away that easily, even if Seto and Yugi had left. but unknown to him Kaiba had stayed behind he had a slight inkling that they'd need his help.
Just then the family could hear a deep dark chuckle coming from Diva. The twins clung to their father in fear.
"I'm not going to let you get away with this Sennen.. " He roared in a fit of anger, He had the best option now since Yami had taken over Atemu's body too kill them both. He pulled out the very knife he once used on Yami all those years ago as he ran right towards him.
Yami decided now was the best time to split from atemu as it would keep either of them from getting attacked. Yami closed his eyes as his spirit separated from his brother, who seemed a little shaken as he regain control but due to Yami's control
he had very little energy Atemu fell to his knees in a weakened state to the ground. Diva growled then he saw his chance to get the other Sennen twin. "Smart move Sennen but nothings stopping me from attacking your brother now is there " he smirked
Seto bolted forward, " ATEMU MOVE!! " he shouted it took atemu a few minutes to register the command, Seto had blocked Diva's attack he managed to grab the knife from his grasp. "Nice try you freak."
Diva struggled under Seto's strong grip as he went to reach for the knife, Seto kicked it away. He flipped diva around gripping his hands behind his back and holding him still. "Only place you'll be going is Prison,
You continued to attack when both brothers tried to apologize to you.... Why? "
Diva simply snarled at Seto's question. "They ruined everything for me... EVERYTHING!!!! "
Seto had heard enough of his deluded rant. "Keep telling yourself that in a jail Cell.. "
It wasn't long till the police arrived, as Seto took Diva out them and to also explain a few things about the now solved murder case.
