So now that you are caught up with my life we are finally here at present day. Well I'm now 17 and Xavier is of course 19 he still hasn't found his mate yet but whenever I bring it up his eyes fill with sadness, and he tries to change the subject. He does have a girlfriend named Victoria, she's kinda... nice....You know my two friends Joyce and Nicki? Well Joyce still has some classes with me, and I sometimes help Nicki with her school projects.
Luckily there was a college right near our house that I never new about and I got in, and surprisingly Xavier did too, of course. So at the moment it's a couple days before my eighteenth birthday and Xavier is less talkative than usual. I mean he will talk to me when I ask him questions, but he would sometimes say something, I usually didn't have to do all the work.....
"So what are you planning to do for your birthday?" Joyce asks me.
"I'm not sure, I don't think I'm going to do anything." I say shrugging.
"Aww come on, you have to do something for your birthday."
"I can't I have extra credit work I still have to do," I say sighing.
"Aren't you an honor student anyway? You skipped a grade!" She said annoyed.
"Yep but I want to stay in college thank you very much," I say walking into the school lounge.
"Oh come on," she said taking a seat in front of me.
"Nope."
"Ok fine, what about your mate?" She asks pulling her computer out.
"Huh?"
"You know who do you think your mate is?"
"I have no idea...." I growl. Luckily this is an all werewolf school, so it wouldn't surprise me to see a wolf run across campus.
"Uh huh, so how is Xavier?"
"Fine, I guess." He isn't talking much these days, it makes me nervous.
"What do you mean 'I guess'?"
"Well he isn't talking much, and I... well I don't know."
"Hmm, weird." she says checking her watch. "Shit..." she whispers "Sorry I go to go, tell everyone I say hi." She says running out the doors. So the rest of the day wasn't so bad, I corrected some people, didn't sit with anyone, haven't seen Xavier for a while. Now I'm just walking back home.... alone...
I need to ask Xavier what's going on. I reach to open the door but I could hear a terrible screeching noise. I could hear Carly howl, and my vision becomes blurry. 'We can't kill L-l-l-Lycans George!' The voice my dream, a Lycan....
"Ariel!" I hear Xavier's muffled voice. I could see black dots clouding my vision. I could heard a door shut, and the noise was gone. "What was that?!" I scream.
"Are you ok?" Xavier asked.
"Lycans, we can't kill Lycans...." I repeat.
"What?" Xavier asked surprised. I run to dads office to see he's there looking at papers. "Dad Lycans, what do we know about Lycans?" I ask out of breath.
"Sweetie are you ok?" He asked.
"No no no I'm not I need you to tell me about Lycans..." I could feel Carly become unstable. That stupid no good dog whistle.
"Well they are the strongest type of werewolf, they a immune to silver, they are rare, they can't be killed." I start to growl, Carly calm down!
"Ariel what's wrong?!" Xavier asked helping me stand.
"Dad do research on them...." I growl. "Now!" I growl. I didn't do that.... "Oh my god I'm sorry!" I say trying to fight the headache.
"Ariel calm down," Dad says. I could feel my canines come down, my claws are come out not far behind.
"Shh Ariel stop," I hear Xavier say in my ear. "Ariel calm down let your wolf out," he whispers in my ear. I let my wolf out and Xavier holds me from behind.
"You can't kill Lycans...." Carly growls. "They are immune to silver, they are stronger with their mate, they live for centuries, they are rare, they are strong, their blood...." Carly growls. She claws on Xavier's arm and slits mine. "Is blue......" she growls. I look at me arm to see my blood is blue along with Xavier's.
"W-what?" He stares at me.
"You can't kill Lycans...." She growls and smiles. I try to fight Carly and speak. "Xavier hold me back..." I say out of breath. Xavier holds me from behind. "This is crazy I'm out of my mind, what is wrong with me?!" Carly screams.
"You are Lycans, you have to choose what side you are on. Xavier has already chosen, but you seem to be struggling." Dad says calmly. "Just let your wolf out, and go for a run..." he says simply.
Xavier let's go of me and I speed off running out the door a towards the forest.

Xavier's POV
"What?" I'm a Lycan... 'I can't stand to see her like this let me out!' I hear Ace growl. No way!
"You can't kill Lycans," she smiles. I could tell she's fighting her wolf to take control. "Xavier hold me back...." she growls. I grab hold of her wrist, and she pulls to try and get away. "This is crazy I'm out of my mind, what is wrong with me?!" She screams.
"You are Lycans, you have to choose what side you are on. Xavier has already chosen, but you seem to be struggling." Dad says calmly. "Just let your wolf out, and go for a run..." he says simply. He looks over at me and I let go of her wrist, she runs straight for the forest.
"I'm a Lycan?" I ask. Dad just stares at my cut, the blood still dripping from my hand. "I don't understand," He said grabbing a book from the shelf.
"What?" I ask.
"I haven't told you everything, but now I have to." He says sighing. "Read this and you will understand everything." he said handing me a really old looking book. The spine of the book said 'Black Moon legends' "What is this?" I ask.
"Just read it, and we will talk later." I nod and walk upstairs. I set the book on my bed and run out the front door. Where is Ariel Ace? 'Left..' He says sniffing the air. It was about an hour later I found her asleep next to a tree. I let Ace take over and he just sat next to her watching. This is creepy come on man.
'No, she's having a nightmare. I'm trying to figure out what it is.' He said like its obvious. Do you know what it is? 'Shit...' He growls. What? He doesn't respond but he shifts back and tries to shake her awake. She starts growling and Ace backs away. 'This is going harder than I thought..' Well there's Ariel for you.
'What poke her with a stick?' NO! What is wrong with you?! I take over and pick her up. Poke her with a stick seriously?! 'Well...' I run back home and set her down in her bed. 'This nightmare is horrific, you have to wake her up some how.' Ace says shivering.
Got it, I grab a cup of water and splash it on her, her eyes shoot open and stare at me. Huh? She screams, "no no no!" She said looking around. Her eyes land on me, and she relaxes.
"Oh thank god you're alive...." she said huffing. "But did you have to pour water on me? Again?"
"Well I found you asleep in the forest and when we tried to wake you up you just started growling. So Ace suggested to poke you with a stick, but I took you home and splashed you with water instead." I say putting the cup down.
"Poke me with a stick?" She asked glaring at me.
"I didn't say it he did." I say putting my hands up in surrender.
"Whatever I'm sorry I went crazy, I feel awful." she said.
"It's fine, you didn't kill anyone so you're good."
"Shit..." She said face palming.
"What?" I ask.
"I might not have killed someone, but a something is a different story." she said sighing.
"You killed an animal?" I asked surprised.
"No..... Carly did...." She says getting up.
"Wow you killed an innocent little bunny?"
"Yes now get out and stop making me feel bad," she said pushing me out the door.
"Fine" I say leaving. What a day..... I go into my room and pick up the book. Before I could open it I got a text from Victoria, 'Hey babe, you wanna meet up?' I roll my eyes before turning off my phone and reading the book.
