AZRIEL'S POV
"What do you did" I ask Jack, who back off from Eli. Eli fell unconscious after jack press her neck
"I just press a nerve in general's neck to put her to sleep" he said and go toward unconscious Oscar
“What you'll do with him” I asked him and secure Eli in my lap
“I'll just treat him so he can live for some days, and will not let him die bcoz General will kill him herself” he said and other soldiers take Oscar and leave
Jack come to me and try to carry Eli but I stop him
“what, I'm just taking General to her room to get some rest” he said but I still stop him
“I can take her to her room and you go check everyone” I said and carry Eli and stand up
“Ok go ahead” he said and go toward everyone to treat him. I take Eli upstairs in her room and put her on bed and covered her
I saw Alex sleeping in his baby crib. I kiss their foreheads and go downstairs, and saw everyone's teary eyes
“How did we didn't notice all this” Eli's mom said and I sit on couch as Jack start to treat my wounds
“My daughter go through all this and we aren't even aware of this. She did everything on her own” her dad said as his tears fell down
Jack is treating my wounds but I am not feeling pain, maybe bcoz I saw Eli bearing more than my pain
She suffers so much alone. And even she has to take of her family and Alex. Who isn't even her child but she go against the world to protect him
Now I know what my family was telling me about secret that Eli will tell me herself, but how will she ever tell anyone that whom she loves dearly is not her son
When everyone was blaming her for being a single mother and doesn't even know Alex's father, but she just care about Alex
I leave from there after jack treat my wounds, and go to see Eli. Bcoz I cannot say anything to her family
I open her bedroom door but I didn't see Eli on bed, I search in the room but she is not here, Alex is still sleeping. until I hear water sounds
I go near washroom and see the door open and my heart stop beating after seeing Eli under the bathtub
“Eliora” I shout and go to her and pull her outside of bathtub as she start to cough
“What were you doing” I said and her her and rub her back. She didn't said anything and try to push me
I leave her but she again try to drown herself. But I was quick enough to grab her
“What are you doing Eli, stop it” I said and pull her out of bathtub and hold her still on ground
“Leave me alone” she finally said but it's really low voice.
“So you can again drown yourself” I said and try to look in her eyes but she didn't look at me
“Azriel, just leave me alone” she shout and try to push me with strength but I didn't leave her
“Not ever in my life” I said and tossed her over my shoulder and come out of washroom then go to her walk in closet. She try to fight but I didn't stop
“Go and change your clothes it's already wet” I said and put her down. But she didn't move and angry stare at me
“Just. Leave. me. Alone” she said in anger but I didn't move
“Change your clothes Eli, before I come here again” I said and go to change my clothes
But my mind didn't leave Eli's thoughts, I quickly change my clothes and go to Eli's closet and knock on the door.
“Eli, are you done changing” I asked and again knock on the door, but I don't hear anything, suddenly I feel something is wrong
“Eli, open the door” I shout and try to open the door but it's locked
“Eli, I swear if you do anything then you will regret it” I shouted and bang on the door
I bring the spare key and open the door and see Eli grab a thing from her closet and point it on her head
“Eliora, drop the gun” I says in fear of her hurting herself, but she just keep the gun on her head
“Why do you care, if I die or live” she ask with hateful eyes
“Please, please drop the gun, we'll talk about it” I said in panick and try to get close to her
“I couldn't protect my brother and SIL, I have many bloods on my hand, then why do you love me” she says and tears filled in her eyes
“You know what Eli, you've become so damaged, that when someone wants to give, what you deserve, you've no idea, how to respond.” I said and take steps toward her
“Stop there, if not then I'll shoot myself” she said and put her finger on trigger
“No, no please don't” I said and take steps back
“Azriel, leave me and go away. I don't want anyone” she said and tears roll down on her cheeks
“This is not going to happen in ever in my lifetime” I said and look in her eyes
“And what do you think will happen to your family especially Alex, after you kill yourself” I said trying to distract her and she panicked after hearing me
This is my chance, I quickly grab her and throw the gun from her hand and hug her, she understands my trick but it's already late, I've got her
“Leave me, Azriel” she said but I throw her over my shoulder and take her to bed and throw her on the bed and hovered over her
“I'll fúcking tie you with me, if you ever try to do this again” I made her look at me and said with anger
“You fúcking think, this is joke to take your life, just because of an accident, and that was not even your fault” I shout at her in anger
She just stare at me with teary eyes. And I realized that I shout on her in anger, I quickly wipe her tears
“I.. I'm sorry Eli, are you okay” I asked in panick trying to see her injury. but she just glare at me.
I hug her and kissed her forehead again and again. Then I feel that she is still in her wet clothes
“Eli, please change your clothes” I says but she didn't move. I can't let her sleep in wet clothes, she will get sick
I sigh and carry her to closet and put her down then take my shirt from closet. She just stand without any motion
I close my eyes and go near her and grab her top and pulled out. Then I put my shirt on her and button up. I reach down to her waist and I grab her long pants then I shoved that down.
Because my shirt is large for her, and it's reach to her mid - thighs, so I didn't go down on her to put on a pant on her.
I stand Infront of her with my eyes closed, all this time I can feel her eyes on me but I didn't open my eyes. And carry her back to bedroom. Because I know every corner in her room so it's help me to take her to bed with my eyes closed
I finally opened my eyes and look at her on bed in my shirt
I quickly covered her with duvet and ready to go, but she suddenly held my hand. I turn to look at her and find her already look at me
“C...can you stay with me” she says and I smile and leaned down to kiss her forehead
“Ok, as you say milady” I said and get on other side of bed and hug her close to me, to my surprise she hugged me back tighter and buried her head in my chest
“I love you Eli” I said and kissed her forehead and caressed it till I hear her light breaths
I stare down on her face, and I didn't even remember when I fall asleep
