ELIORA'S POV
I was in the conference meeting, till a notification come in my phone. I signal them to stop the meeting and check my phone
It was a Unknown number, suddenly I remember that I give my number to Azriel last night, it must be him
I open the chat and he send me a video clip. I play the video and get shocked to see the clip
Alex is walking, he takes his first steps and he is going toward Azriel but before he go near him his legs slip but before he fall Azriel catch him
God, why did I come to company today, Alex walks first time and I was not there to see
“Ahem should we continue Boss” one of my shareholder's says
“Continue” I says and put my phone aside
The meeting go another 2 hours and we discussed about our profit and shares
After meeting I go to my cabin and as soon I enter I got a call, I check the caller ID then pick up the call
“say it” I says in cold and sit on couch
“no hey, no hello Knight, you should learn some greetings” Unknown says and taunt me
“Fúck off Jack” I says and was going to cut the call
“Hey hey Knight listen” He says and I put the phone back to my ear
“Say it in short” I says and massage my forehead
“Wow when your son got hurt and your family call me to check him, that day you talk to me politely and now look at you talking rudely with me” He says and I have a urge to kill him right now
“Jack get to the point” I says dangerously bcoz I know he will throw tantrums before giving me any information
“He is making move be careful” he says refering to someone and I know who
“What move” I asked
“I think he will come to your engagement day and” Jack says and pause
“And what” I asked again
“He might plan something against you or try to ruin your engagement” he says
“Ruin my engagement how” I says and sit properly
“By digging up the past or attacking on everyone” he says and I remember my whole past and I cannot let anyone know about that
“Bring the team on my engagement day and you too will come and keep a eye on him” I ordered him
“Ok but don't you want to destroy him before your engagement” he asked
“No, not now bcoz I want to give him back his gift which he give me but I'll give him 100 times more” I says and anger flash in my eyes
“I'm sure he will regret his decision of messing with you” he says and I can guess he is smirking
“Ok anything else if not then end the call” I says with tired voice
“Yeah yeah you just need me for information then you toss me around like empty bottle” he says but I cut the call and press my forehead
I again started to do my work and I didn't even notice the time, my manager come and told me that it's already evening
Then I realized that I've to go home and meet my cute son. I drive my car and back to my home
But I gets surprise when I reach home and see everyone, EVERYONE sitting in living room. Like everyone Isabella and Sofia's family and Azriel's family and his friends and their families also
“Hello everyone” I says in cold bcoz now it's become my habit
“Eli look Alex can walk now” Sofia says while sitting on floor with Isabella and Alex who is walking holding Isabella's finger
I take out my over jacket and put aside then go near Alex, he Already notice me and giggling looking at me
“Come here baby” I says and stretch my hands toward him
“Mum mum” Alex says and walk toward me wiggle. He come and hug me and I pick him up
“Eli you missed the epic moment” Sofia says and I look at her
“Alex was trying to say more words and he try to say Sofia” Isabella says and chuckle
I look at Alex in my arms but he shyly hide his face in my neck
“Woo he is shy too” Azriel says chuckling
“Alex say again” Azriel's Friend says and I think his name his Aaron
“Alex is so shy baby” His another friend says and I think his name is Matteo
“Ok no one will tease my grandson anymore” my dad said
“Eli go and fresh up then come for dinner” my mom says and take Alex from me and I go to change
