After a bit, Sun has woken up, as he looked around his surroundings. Seeing as now Sun was in a warm bed in a room.. The room wasn't too big, but not extremely small.. There was a door on the right hand side of the opposite wall from where Sun was placed, also on the right hand wall being closet doors. On the left hand side of the opposite wall, there was a desk. While to the left of his bed was a small lamp placed on a small table/desk.. The room had no windows.. It was dark in the room, only thing shining off light was the lamp. The wallpaper was an orangeish color, covered in a bunch of small suns.. the desk had nothing on it, being completely empty. There was a small chair next to it.. Overall, the room had a cozy and weirdly welcoming feel to it, nice bed and warm temperature. The smell was that of cinnamon rolls and apples.. Sun sat up, as he inspected the room, slightly confused, wasn't he in the colorful forest before? Either way, he looked at his arm, which should be broken, but.. It was.. Fine.. No pain, nothing.. His face as well had no pain, nothing to it.. He could see out of that eye perfectly fine.. The only thing remaining that could be connected to what just happened was his throat/neck being slightly sore... Other than that, he was perfectly fine... Sun slightly held his neck, feeling the slight sore, though he was confused, who healed him? Who took him here?.. More questions filled his brain, though as he inspected the room a bit more, realizing who might've took him here, but why did he?..
Beyond the door, a slight humming could be heard... Sun looked at the door, as he got up. He hesitated at first on opening the door, but he eventually opened the door, enough to just take a peek through. It led to a small hallway, door across the way, a couple more down the hallway. To the right, light was coming from an area. Looked kind of like a kitchen/dining area from what was seen. Sun blinked a few times, confused, as he thought about what he heard, Eclipse did mention about of a past or something, either way he got out of the room, as he decided to go through the hallway, heading towards the light first.
The room was bright, looking sort of like a 1940s kitchen, a table in the middle and cabinets and a stove.. Which was currently being used by a certain someone, as he was wearing some comfy looking clothes. The room also smelled of something cinnamon mixed with more smells of food... The table was decorated nicely, two plates, some orange and red flowers in a vase, and a table cloth, patterned with a lovely Sun in the middle.. The person at the stove was clearly cooking something. Sun blinked a few times again, as he was more confused though he decided to explore the left part of the hallway, where he didn't go.
The rest of the hallway was a bit dark, ending in a dead end. There seemed to only be four doors in the hallway, one of them obviously being the room he woke up in.. Two doors on each side of the wall. There was a light but no light switch to turn it on in view... Sun probably didn't had enough time to look through the doors, so he just decided to go back to the kitchen/dinning room.
There was some food on the plates now, as Eclipse finished up something and turned around to put it on the two plates... Looking up to see Sun.. Sun just stood there, as his rays were slightly retracted, feeling a bit uneasy. Eclipse's rays puffed up slightly as he stood a bit straighter, a warm smile widening... " Good morning, Sunshine~! So glad you're awake! Would you like some pancakes? " despite the monotone, he somehow managed to make his voice sound a bit welcoming and nice. Sun blinked a few times once more, in confusion, mostly because he didn't expect this, not to mention Eclipse could hurt him and he could've killed him. Was the past actions the same?.. Such a shame that he can't remember them.. " No.. I'm not hungry.. Thanks for though.. " he spoke, looking at Eclipse. Honestly he didn't mind the change and Eclipse being all nice and all that, though he didn't seem to trust that much, probably for obvious reasons.. " Ah. Are you sure? Perhaps not food, but how about something to drink? What would you like? " Eclipse stared at him for moment before shaking his head slightly " Ah, never mind.. You alright, Sunshine? " he asked, tilting his head slightly.. Sun stood silent a bit, is he fucking dreaming? Why is Eclipse so nice all of the sudden?.. Man he really wished he could remember those past events that Eclipse mentioned.. Perhaps it could help him understand, perhaps not..
" I'm.. Alright.. " Sun spoke at a quiet tone, as he looked away slightly " Just.. throat a little sore.. ". Eclipse nodded " Ah yes, I suppose that happens sometimes.. " he responded, as picked up what must've been Sun's plate, wrapping it in wrap and putting it in a small fridge.. " Its there if you want it in the future.. " he spoke, sitting down at his own chair. " Alright.. Thanks.. " Sun spoke again, at a quiet tone. Even if Eclipse was evil, he still has to be polite and thank him, that's just how Sun is. " Not going to sit down? " Eclipse asked, as he slightly tilted his head to the side. " Yeah.. I guess.. " Sun hesitantly walked in, as he sat down on his chair. Eclipse tilted his head back as he stared at Sun. " So, what's wrong? " he asked, poking a fork into his food.. " Nothing.. Just-.. Trying to understand... stuff?.. " Sun answered, a bit unsure if he should tell Eclipse.. " Like what, might I ask? " Eclipse asked, as he continued to poke the fork in his food. " Mm.. " Sun kept a bit silent, thinking, before speaking " How I got here.. Where I am.. What happened in those so called ʼpast loopʼ.. " Sun said the last words using the quoting fingers, he then hesitated to ask something else, but eventually did " And why you suddenly started acting nice to me.. ". Eclipse sighed... " Had the feeling you forgot again... " he spoke, as he slightly stopped poking the fork in the food.
" You're in your house, how you got here is we bought this house and have lived in it for a bit, the 'past loops' is some weird thing you've gotten from the books we've read.. I'm not acting any nicer than I have been in the past... I swear, its always those nightmares that get you like this.. " he stated it all a bit quickly, like he had said it a million times before.. His nicer tone of voice slowly decreasing before coming back within the last few sentences.. He then continued to poke the fork into his food again. Sun remained a bit silent, trying to process everything, now he has more questions.. " But earlier we were in a forest?.. " he spoke, confused, as he tilt his head slightly to the side. " A forest this time? Haven't heard that one before. " Eclipse sounded incredibly sarcastic... Must've also heard that a million times.. " No, dear, you've only been in the house.. ". Now Sun's more confused, and processing.. Did Eclipse just call him ʼdearʼ?.. " I-.. But- " he became silent again, as he began questioning reality. " Just another one of your nightmares, Sunshine.. You're awake and you're fine, are you not? Relax a bit.. The nightmares aren't real, you were never in a forest, you've always been here.. ". Sun stood a bit silent, thinking, as he held his head a bit, staring at the ground.. Was this actually real? Was everything a dream? Are they lies? So many questions.. So many doubts.. Poor Sun, he can't spot what's real or fake anymore.. " But.. I felt being choked- And it still does hurt-.. " he said, once again at a quiet tone. Eclipse looked at Sun, tilting his head to the side.. " Well, perhaps we should check it then, hm? If there's any marks there, then the nightmare was real, if there is nothing there, then its just as simple as a sore throat and some gummies can help with that. " he waited for a response to the idea.. Sun remained a bit silent, perhaps that's a way to assure.. So he nodded slightly.
Eclipse got up, left for a room and came back with a mirror for Sun to see.. He placed it on the table, checking his neck himself beforehand before holding the mirror where Sun could see his own neck... Nothing seemed wrong with it.. It was fine, there were no dents nor any sign of anything happening... Of course, it was still sore, but there were no marks to show the soreness came from being choked... " See? No marks. Just a nightmare.. Let me get you something for the soreness.. " Eclipse said, putting the mirror back onto the table and starting towards the cabinets.. Sun looked a bit, slightly confused " I guess... Ok... " he spoke, holding his neck a bit, as he continued to questioning reality.. What's fake or real anymore?.. Was absolutely everything a dream?.. Is Eclipse actually nice?..
Meanwhile Eclipse pulled out a bottle of gummies, and brought it over to Sun, putting a couple in his hands and placing the bottle down.. He handed Sun the gummies.. " Take.. ". Sun looked a bit at the gummies, before eating them. When he did take them, they had the taste of cinnamon and sugar.. It took only a few seconds before the soreness in Sun's throat went away... Sun remained silent, before he thank Eclipse. Eclipse nodded, taking the bottle of gummies.. " Why, you are very much welcome, dear. " he said in warmer and more pleasant tone once again, taking the bottle back to the cabinet and putting it away.. Sun then looked a bit at the ground " Why are you calling me ʼdearʼ?.. " he asked, slightly curious on why Eclipse is doing that.
" Why? Because you're my dear Sunshine~. Dear does mean cherished by someone, and I would say that I cherish you so.. Well, dearly~. Why else would I call my love that? If I didn't cherish them.. " Eclipse picked up his plate and started cleaning... He acted as if all of this was completely normal... Sun seemed even more confused, they were together?!.. Well that's something Sun didn't expect, which made him question reality even more..
Poor Sun.. can't think clear anymore..
Eclipse hummed a bit, once done cleaning the plate, he put it up in a cupboard... He looked at Sun... " Why d- " he stopped himself " Why do I keep assuming you remember- Of course you'd look confused if you didn't remember.. " he walked over to Sun, and leaned down, patting his back slightly.. " I have to go somewhere, but I promise I'll be back.. Get some rest, dear. The gummies are in the top cabinets above the stove if you're throat starts getting sore again.. " Mwah- yes, Eclipse did give Sun a kiss on the head, before standing up a bit more and walking off to the other side of the table and through a doorway that lead to some room.. He then yelled out " Love you!~ " as a door opened up and then slammed shut..
And like that.. Sun was alone.. Honestly, right now Sun doesn't know how to react, literally the person who thought was evil just patted his back, kissed his head and being nice as shit, though the moment Eclipse left, he just stood there, trying to process and understand everything. After a bit, he got up and decided to explore the house.. Perhaps it'll help him remember?..
