Y/n was in the Battle Brawlers HQ watching the replay of Magnus and Naga fighting the Mechtagon. Tri-star commented on how much he hated watching himself lose while others took all the credit, Shun and Marucho talked about the Mechtagon and where it came from while Y/n noticed how uneased Dan looked.
Shun: Alright, now for you to explain yourself.
Shun points at Y/n, who got nervous because of the stares they were giving him.
Y/n: Um sure? W-what do you want to know exactly?
Marucho: We want to know how Naga is alive and why you've partnered yourself with him.
Before Y/n could answer, Naga jumped out from his pocket and lands on Y/n's shoulder.
Naga: The Silent core, Brawlers. That's how I'm alive, as for why Y/n is partnered with me it's none of your business.
Dan: Ok but we took the Silent core away from you when we last battled.
Naga: That's what you think, you only took half of it while I took the other half.
Naga gives out a dark glow that gave out a vibe of negative energy. Suddenly Y/n's other bakugan jump out from his pockets and land on the table, the first among them to speak was Wavern.
Wavern: After saving himself, Naga brought me back to life.
Drago: What? But that's impossible and why would Naga do such a thing?
Wavern looked at her brother and he scrowls before turning around, refusing to answer. Naga could feel Wavern's glare even though he is a lot more powerful than her, he sighs and faced the brawlers he knows Wavern will tell them even without his permission.
Naga: Is it really a shocker that I brought my sister back?
Shun: Yes, considering who you are.
Naga: Tch, I used the Silent core's power to bring her back and for why I did so, is because I regretted killing her in the first place. My lust for power blinded me and when I was free from it I wanted to redeem myself for my crimes.
Tailian: That is rather surprising considering all the things you did in the past.
Tri-star: I know, right?
Naga glared at the two, he just explained why he did what he did in the past and they still don't fully believe him. He growls but doesn't do anything. Helios decided to tell his story so he jumped on to Y/n's shoulder next to Naga and spoke.
Helios: After our last encounter Brawlers, Spectra and I did a little experiment that went somewhat as planned. As you can see I'm now a Darkus bakugan.
Drago: Even after all you've been through you still experiment on yourself?
Helios: Hey I wanted to try something new alright.
Drago just nods then looked at Leonidas and Magnus who weren't paying attention to anything everyone was saying until they noticed Drago staring at them, Leonidas gave him a hateful glare while Magnus just growled at him. Drago was taken back by their behaviour since he just met them and they're already hating him for no reason, Tri-star noticed the tension between Drago and the other two and decided to speak up.
Tri-star: Hey, what's with these guys? They look like they want Drago dead.
Leonidas: And what if we do?
Magnus: His death will prove our strength.
The Brawlers were taken back by the sudden threat, they were ready to fight until Y/n began chuckling. Y/n grabs Leonidas and Magnus and sets them down on his right shoulder.
Y/n: Sorry about that, they aren't fond of new people. And what they said was only a joke, they were just uncomfortable with Drago staring at them.
Drago: I see, my apologies then. Now for the final story, Dharak how did you survive our last battle?
Dharak: Simple, I faked my own death. When you fired that powerful attack at me I used it as a chance to forcefully return myself to ball form, while I survived Barodius was still in the blast zone. He died and I was finally free from his madness.
Marucho: Madness? What do you mean?
Dharak: You think I wanted to destroy my home and enslave others willingly?! Barodius forced me into submission and used me to get what he wanted, I was a simple dragonoid peacefully living my life until he showed up.
Shun: Wait if Barodius forced you into fighting us, why didn't you fight back against him?
Dharak: You think I haven't tried that? Whenever he told me to attack or kill I refused and got punished for it, I would be pinned against other bakugan far stronger than me and tortured until I either submitted or lost consciousness. During our battles I tried getting your help but Barodius found out and decided to put me under mind control to fully put me into submission.
The Brawlers all fell silent when they heard this, to believe how much pain Dharak went through just because he wanted to stop fighting is unimaginable. Drago felt bad for Dharak, all the battles they've had were against the Darkus bakugan's will and he almost killed him for it.
Dan: Wait if you were simply living your life on Vestroia, why were you connected to Code-Eve back then?
Dharak: Don't know, Code-Eve said she created my and Drago's ancestors but there have been no records of any Darkus dragonoids in Vestroia.
Tailian: Strange, if all of Drago's great ancestors were dragonoids and yours were created from Code-Eve it could be a possibility that you are the first ever Darkus dragonoid.
Dharak: Yes that could be possible. Now if all of you are done asking questions, can we leave?
Marucho: One more question. How did you all meet um...?
Y/n: My name is Y/n L/n and I first met Naga and Wavern at the park in Bayview. They were stuck on Earth for a while until I found them, after some talking we made a temporary partnership.
Wavern: Which is now a permanent partnership as you can see.
Naga: After us came Helios, he appeared through a portal during one of our battles on Earth. We tried getting him back to Vestroia with no success, so he made a partnership with Y/n until he can get back to Vestroia.
Helios nodded to this but growled when his temporary partnership was mentioned, his been thinking of permanently partnering himself with Y/n. He has grown to love the kid and the vow he made with the other bakugan encouraged him to seal the deal, he just hopes Spectra will understand.
Y/n: Leonidas is my first bakugan and Magnus is my second, I met them before Naga and Wavern. Leonidas is from the Doom dimension while Magnus is from Vestroia.
Drago: The Doom dimension? But no living being can even survive in a place like that.
Leonidas: I wasn't sent to the Doom dimension you stupid lizard, I was created there. And after years of being trapped in there a portal appeared and I escaped the damn place, I met Y/n when I first arrived to Earth. He helped me get stronger and I made myself his first official partner.
Magnus: As for me, I lived most of my life in Vestroia and grew bored of the quiet life so I challenged many bakugan before going to Earth. I was partnered with someone else at the time and met Y/n, I was up against Leonidas when we first met and I could sense how strong he was. We battled and I lost so I abandoned my old partner and joined Y/n and I don't regret it.
Dan: Abandoning your partner? That's pretty mean you know, anyway Dharak how did you meet Y/n?
Dharak: I left Vestroia thinking I would be used for evil again and settled on Earth, after a week Wavern found me and brought me to Y/n. At first I thought he was going to use me for personal gain but I was proven wrong when Y/n treated me like family and not a weapon, plus he battled for the thrill of it and for fun. I couldn't pass up a chance like that so I partnered myself with him.
The Brawlers all nod and accepted the explanation, with all that done they let Y/n leave but warned him that they'll be watching him and his bakugan to keep them out of trouble.
