Adrien is now on his way home from the party. "And then, BOOM!!! He just opens up to this amazing speech about how much he cares about us. It's honest really sweet of the day." Adrien said. "Well I'm glad you maxed to make yourself a great friend, before he leaves." Nathalie replied. "Yeah. Too bad now we need to focus on the finals, as well as graduation prep, and where I want to go." Adrien said. "Where do you want to go for high school?" Nathalie asked. "Nicolas HS. It's the one Marinette is going to. Don't worry. I'm not only going there because Marinette is going. I looked, and the classes all fit what I wish to do in my life perfectly." Adrien replied. "I see. Anyone else from your class going?" Nathalie asked. "Yes. Luka, Chloe, and Sabrina. It's nice for the three, since they will be together." Adrien replied. "Won't you miss the others?" Nathalie asked. "I will, but we all planned to meet over time. After all, I did tell them they are like a second family to me. A family that would shatter my soul if I lost." Adrien replied. "Speaking of family, your Father has decided to take you and I out to dinner tomorrow. It can be anywhere you want. Fancy or not. He's completely happy with it." Nathalie said. "Man, I love my Dad." Adrien replied. That's when he gets home. Gorilla helps Nathalie and Adrien out of the car. "Well, I'm going to bed. See you in the morning, Nathalie." Adrien said. "Good night, Adrien." Nathalie replied with a smile on her face. They both walk inside, and as the front door closes with a few seconds passing by, both of them scream in absolute horror. Screaming as loud as they possible can.
Later that night, we finally arrive back at the old abandoned oil rig that was, Essence's lair. The clawers are there working as they normally do. Weather it's sparing, dumping trash into the furnace, working in the lab, or just messing around when one clawer pushes another into the water, and laughs. "[gets out]. Jokes on you, bolt brain. We are waterproof." Clawer said. "Yeah, well at least I have brains." Clawer replied. Before a clawer fight can emerge, they are interrupted. "STOP!!! Look! He's back." Clawer said. They look, and they see Essence's helicopter begin to arrive. It attracts all the clawers attention, we get very excited. They run over to the helipad, where they get ready. Making sure they look good for this. "Are my claws sharp enough?" Clawer asked. "You look great." Clawer replied. "Thanks. So do you." Clawer said. "Stop it! He's coming out." Clawer replied. That's when the helicopter door opens, and thus, he walks out. The one, the only, the villainous, Jack Edgers, who holds the Aquatic Box, and both Butterfly and Peacock brooch on his chest. The kwamis are also there, and they follow their master, as he walks out. "My fellow minions... I have finally returned." Jack said. The clawers bow before their master. "So, my kwamis, welcome to your new home. What once was an abandoned oil rig, has soon transformed into my base of operations. Pretty cool right?" Jack asked. "Well, I mean it's by water, so that's a W in my book." Russtic replied. "[punches him]. DON'T AGREE WITH HIM!!!" Orca yelled. "What's wrong, Orca. The base ain't living up to your expectations?" Jack asked. "My expectations was a nice house in Chicago. Not an oil rig run by whoever you are." Orca replied anger. "It's Essence. Someone who wants to rule this pathetic planet. A world worthy of me, as it's ruler. We can chat more of ruling sometime later. Right now, let me show you around. Over here is my radio tower. I use it to check up on the news. There are also about twenty five TVs in there. No joke. My factory where my fellow robots are made." Jack said. "Tell them boss." Clawer replied, as they both fist bump. "My furnace where all my scraps go. My lab where I work on new weapons, as well as monitoring. More on that later. And just recently added, an elevator leading to an underwater portion of my lair. What's it for? That too will also be explained later. And now for the main event. The main building itself. Check this out." Jack said. Jack then inputs a code. "Access granted." Door said, as it opens up. "Ahhh, I just love the power of technology. Anyway, follow me. That to my right is my living quarters. Your not going in because, reasons. [takes the elevator to the second floor]. For floor number two, we have my dining room. Equipped with a fancy environment to make me feel like a king. A crazy king. And over here, my training room. There is also the empty platform behind my helipad, but this one is used as well. You know. To feel like a double threat. [takes elevator to top floor]. And finally, my favorite room. The grand finale of it all. [sits down in throne]. The room where I can sit down, relax, and look out to the world, as if I have it, while sitting in my throne. And, I also have this button that can open and close the metal doors. Kind of like Hawkmoth's lair." Jack said. Soon, the kwamis float there not saying a word. Especially Duusu. "Hey, Duusu. You look ill. You need something to eat?" Jack asked. "This has to be a dream! This has to be a dream! This has to be a dream!" Duusu panicked. She keeps on saying that over, and over. "So she thinks she's asleep. Ok. Very interesting. [gets up, and stands in front of Duusu, who keeps saying that sentence]. If this, were a dream, then how would I be able to do this!!!" Jack yelled, as he slaps Duusu to the ground. The slap goes in slow mo, which allows the kwamis to look horrified. Especially Nooroo. In normal speed, she the ground hard. "DUUSU!!!" Nooroo yelled. He assist to her, as Jack laughs like a maniac. Nooroo gets anger. "You... you demon!!!" Nooroo yelled. "Well thank you. I prefer worse terms, but demon works fine." Jack replied, as he sits back down. Duusu then gets up. "Ok, so this isn't a dream. Meaning Gabriel Agreste really is dead, and my hatchling is..." Duusu asked. "The man you hated for so long? Hate to crack the shell to you, but yes. It is me. I am Essence." Jack replied. "But... that makes zero sense. We saw the news. I was there even. The day we killed Derek Malcolm. Heck! We even saw his corpse. You, I mean, he was dead. How on Earth can you be Essence, if Derek was Essence?!" Nooroo asked confused. "I was expecting these kinds of question. Thankfully, you'll get the answers very soon." Jack replied. "No. I don't believe this. I don't buy in that your Essence. There is no way. I mean, your rich right? [laughs nervously]. This much be a sick joke your playing on us! That's right! It's a joke! Well, hahaha, you got me! [laughs nervously]. Where is the part where you stop?" Duusu asked. "There is no part my feathered friend. This is real life. No joke at all. Your not looking at your little hatchling. Your looking at who I really am behind the mask." Jack replied. "But... you said you had a terrible life. A tragic past. You have anger issues based on your trauma." Duusu said, who panics even more. "Ohhh, that. Yeah. I LIED YOU NAIVE TURKEY!!!" Jack yelled. "Wait?" Duusu asked broken. "Yep! I lied. That too will have an explanation to it. As well as your questions Nooroo. Don't worry, I'll give them to you. Depending on how long it takes." Jack replied. "How long what takes?" Nooroo asked. "You'll see. You'll all see." Jack replied, as he sits in his throne with a nasty smirk on his face. The kwamis all float there horrified, broken, and or anger at what is going on.
The next day, Marinette is filling out some forms for her high school. "School just gets harder, and harder as time goes on." Tikki said. "I know. But in the end, Nicolas HS will give me the course I need to be a famous fashion designer. And well you know, also be connected with my boyfriend." Marinette replied. "Still can't believe Jack helped you get that dream." Tikki said. "Not sure why, but he helped me out a million." Marinette replied. "Hmm mmm." Tikki said. That's when Alya burst into Marinette's room, and scares her. "Jesus Christ!!! Ever heard of knocking?" Marinette asked. "Forget that! You need to see this!" Alya demanded. She shows Marinette her phone, which plays a news report. "This just in, we have received some breaking news that truly has broken the internet in less than a second. Gabriel Agreste, world famous fashion designer, and son of use to be model Adrien Agreste, was found dead today inside his home." Nadia(finally using her real name) said. "WHAT?!" Marinette asked shocked. "Keep watching." Alya replied. "Not only that. But based on the suicide note he left behind, it reveals that this fashion designer is actually the supervillain Hawk/Shadowmoth. With the words, and I quote: "I may have become a better Father for my kid, but the guilt of all I've done over the last year or so keeps eating me alive. I simply cannot take it anymore, despite how much I try to resist being a supervillain. I'm sorry, but I cannot accept living like this anymore. I hidden both my miraculous in a safe place, so that no one can risk trying to cause the same chaos I did. Goodbye to the world, Gabriel Agreste." Truly, truly shocking news. Because of this, his company has now gone absolutely broke. Putting thousands out of a job. As for his son Adrien, he has moved to a new location with his assistant, Nathalie, who has taken legal control of the kid. It's a tragic day for all, then again one that indicates the heroes have won." Nadia said. Marinette is mind blown, as is Tikki. "Oh... Oh my God! This can't be true! All this time, ALL THIS TIME, my crush was the son of... our nemesis?" Marinette asked. "This is impossible! I... I can't believe it. So, he's really gone?" Tikki asked. "Based on the news, yes. Bullet right through the forehead. Finger prints in the gun. Handwriting identical. It's all there. Though, not sure why he choose to shot himself in the forward." Alya replied. "This is no time for observation. I need to see Adrien." Marinette said, as she runs our of her room.
Soon, she is now at a shopping district/mall(the same one we saw in canon SS5 episodes such as: Jubilation, and Transmission). "Ok. Adrien gave me his new address, and it's right over here." Marinette said. She stands in front of an apartment district. She walks inside. Now, she is at the front door of Adrien's place. "Maybe you should give Adrien some time alone first, then go see him?" Tikki asked. "I think that is a good thing, but I just want to be sure he's ok. It's a thing couples do." Marinette replied. "He found out his Dad died, and he is a supervillain. Maybe step back on this one." Tikki said. "I can't. I need to be sure." Marinette replied, as she knocks the door. Nathalie then answers. "Ohh, it's you. Adrien's GF." Nathalie said in a broken tone. "Hello, Nathalie. I was wondering if I ca see Adrien? I just want to check up on him." Marinette replied. "Hmm, I don't think it's a good time. He's not doing so well." Nathalie said. "It will be quick. Promise." Marinette replied. "You don't seem to get it. He's not doing well. At all." Nathalie said. "Is that... Marinette?" Adrien asked in a broken tone. "Ohh, yes it's her." Nathalie replied. Adrien then walks the door looking more depressed than before. "A...Adrien. I'm... I'm so sorry..." Marinette said, before she gets interrupted. "Please, Marinette. Do me a favor. Get as far away as you can from me. The same with the others. They don't deserve to be associated with someone related to a supervillain." Adrien replied. "But... Adrien." Marinette said. "No buts! Just leave! Please!" Adrien begged. "Oh... ok. Sorry for wasting your time then." Marinette said. "No. I'm sorry you and the others meet me." Adrien replied. Nathalie then closes the door. "Geez. Poor Adrien." Tikki said. "Your right. Maybe... we do need to give him some space. Let's just go." Marinette replied. They both leave the building.
Inside Adrien's new home, he screams, and lashes out on his pillow. Punching it to pieces. "Adrien relax. Calm down." Plagg begged. "Why? Because I will get akumatized? That wouldn't be an issue since, MY DAD IS DEAD!!!" Adrien yelled. "I know your upset, but being this worked up won't do you anything." Plagg said. "Anything? My Dad not only was a supervillain, but he also killed himself out of guilt! That's just insane to me! In fact, I don't think he was trying to bond with me. He wanted me to feel bad for him, and how he felt about being a villain! He said, HE SAID, he said he was trying to make me happy. Well now, it only looks like he wanted me to care more about him than ever! Well congrats, jerk! You did it! You got what you wanted! Your now dead, your now gone, Paris is safe from you and Farfalla, and you left your only kid now broke, living in a nasty apartment!" Adrien yelled. "Don't say nonsense. That's not true at all." Plagg said. "Then why did he kill himself huh? Why kill himself if he was happy with me and Nathalie? Exactly. He only did it because based on the letter, he's still the same selfish man I hate." Adrien replied. "But he loved you. You even saw it yourself." Plagg said. "I believed him. But now I know he was just lying to me like he always was. I hope he's burning for eternity now!" Adrien replied. "Adrien!" Plagg yelled. "I don't care! He ruined so many lives, especially mine! First with the modeling, now this! [looks at picture of Gabriel, and smashes it]. I HATE YOU SO MUCH YOU PIECE OF CRAP!!!" Adrien yelled, as he stomps on the photo.
Now, we see Marinette and all the others, mins Lila, at the houseboat. "Where is Lila?" Luka asked. "She said she's busy for something. Sounded very emotional on the call." Max replied. "Ok. Anyway, we need to talk. Adrien has been miserable all day today." Luka said. "No duh." Alya replied. "And that's understandable for him. But what he is doing to us seems like overkill. Everything I texted him, he keeps saying, just block this number. I don't deserve to be your friend." Luka said. "Same here." Mylene replied. "Me too. Even after I wrote a three paragraph text about how bad I feel for him." Rose said. "Well it's very clear he's more than depressed. He's beyond that based on how he's reacting to all of this." Alix replied. "Which is why we need to do something about it." Luka said. "But what can we do. He is refusing to be friends with us. He's sad as all heck. What can we even do to help him?" Nino asked. "How about we all brainstorm ideas. We spit them out, and pick the one that seems the most appropriate." Chloe replied. "That can work for a starter." Nino said. As they all think, Marinette slips away for a moment. "What are you doing now?" Tikki asked. "Remember when I said to Cat Noir that he and I will reveal who we are once Essence and Farfalla, I mean, Hawkmoth are gone? I'm just going to remind him about it, and pick a time to do it." Marinette replied. "Really? So your really ok with it?" Tikki asked. "A deal's a deal." Marinette replied. "But, shouldn't you do this later? After you know, you help Adrien?" Tikki asked. "We don't need to do it right now. I'll just remind him, and we can work out a time later." Marinette replied. "You really need to get your planning skills improved." Tikki said. Marinette gets her communication box, and contacts Cat Noir. Adrien is now laying on his bed in utter sorrow. That's when his box rings. "Ahh, it's Ladybug. Long time since we lasted used these." Plagg said. "She should leave me alone as well. She doesn't deserve to be with a villain like me." Adrien replied. "But she doesn't know your Adrien right? Therefore, there shouldn't be an issue." Plagg said. "Huh? Good point. [thinks, the sighs]. I guess I can at least talk to her. But I'm not going to like it. [answers box]. My Lady?" Adrien asked. "Hey, Cat. It's LB. I assume you heard the news that Hawkmoth is now gone for good. It sounds awesome, but tragic to say the least." Marinette replied. "Yeah. Tragic indeed." Adrien said. "Anyway, we don't need to do this now, but I just want to remind you. Now that they are gone. We can reveal our identities to each other." Marinette replied. Adrien the gasp, as he remembers. "We... can?" Adrien asked. "Like I said, once Essence and Hawkmoth are gone, we can do it. Just tell me when you can, and we can do it. Just not at the moment. I'm busy with stuff." Marinette replied. "[gets really sad]. Yeah. With pleasure. See you soon. [hangs up, then cries in bed]. Great! Now my hero life is ruined!" Adrien said, as he cries in pain. Plagg tries to help him, by petting his head. It doesn't do a thing to stop his tears, but he keeps on petting. Marinette them joins with the others. "Ok, then it's settled. We all just meet him at his place, and talk it out. Ok?" Nino asked. "Agreed." Chloe replied. "So, that's our plan? Go see him in person? I hate to break it to you, but I tried later today, and it didn't go so well." Marinette said. "But with all of us, we will succeed if we try. Let's do it." Nino replied. Soon, they all start to go. "Oh man. This isn't a good idea." Marinette said.
"This isn't a good idea. This will make him feel worse." Nathalie said, as everyone is outside the door. "We get this does seem like a terrible idea, but if you just let us try." Nino replied. "No! He's not going to be happy one bit." Nathalie said. "But, mam. Do you want Adrien to be sad for the rest of his life?" Luka asked. "It's Nathalie, and of course not. He's not accepting the help though. He's too focused on feeling like he's bad like his Dad, as well as hating him for it. He just needs some time ok?" Nathalie asked. "We get it. But sometimes we need to take a risk to pull things off. It sounds insane, but it's true. Just give us this one shot to cheer him up. If we fail, then we will leave him alone for as long as he needs." Luka replied. "Hmmm, [sighs] fine. I guess I'll do it. Only because thus proves Adrien's point that you all are his second family." Nathalie said. The entire gang, minus Lila and Jack, walk in. They knock on Adrien's door, which is when Plagg hides. Nathalie opens the door. "Adrien. Your friends are here to see you." Nathalie said. "I have no friends. I don't deserve any." Adrien replied. "We don't care. [Adrien gasp, as he looks]. We understand your going through a lot of pain, Adrien. [walks up to, and sits in front of him]. We all totally get that this is insane, and that your not handling it well, but... that's no excuse to prevent us from helping." Luka said. "[whips tears off his face]. How could you be so nice to someone related to a monster?" Adrien asked. "Your not a monster, Adrien. I know you well. We all do. We know your a sweet guy, who despite how much pain he feels, he always relies on a special group of people for comfort. Us. All of us. Well, minus Jack. Now, the same thing is happening, except your pushing us away. That's not the right solution at all." Chloe replied. "This is different. Much different than before." Adrien said. "And is that an excuse to push us away? Of course not. You may think we hate you, or don't want to talk to you, but in truth, we don't." Kagami replied. "Really?" Adrien asked. "We know your not like your Dad. You are still the sweetheart we know and love." Alix replied. "One we want to protect, and comfort when times get tough." Ivan said. "One we appreciate for meeting in our lives." Mylene replied. "One we are so glad comes to our school." Nathaniel said. All the others say something they are grateful for to Adrien, which makes him go into shock. "Adrien, I know things are hard now, and you may think this is going to affect us forever, but I will never stop loving such an amazing person like you. Nor would any of us." Marinette said. "Right." Everyone replied. "So you see. You have nothing to worry about. It's going to be all ok." Marinette said. Adrien then breaks down into tears, before he hugs Marinette. "[cries]. I love you guys so much." Adrien said. Marinette hugs him back, and the others join in as well. Finally comforting the sad, and miserable Adrien.
It's now two weeks later. Adrien and the others are all hanging outside on the island area by the Seine. "What a last two weeks guys. We crush finals, we graduate, and now we are on summer break." Marinette said. "It's awesome. For real. Awesome." Adrien replied happy. "And, done! Come along guys. Check out my latest scrapbook. [the others crowd around Rose]. Here is us at the carnival. Here is us at the zoo. Here is us at the Ferris wheel. Here is us partying hard at Luka's. Especially Adrien. And so much more." Rose said, as she scrolls through page, by page. It all makes Adrien really happy. "Still can't believe I was so depressed. Depressed about my Dad dying, and thinking I was a villain because I was related to him." Adrien said. "Hey. It's all over now. No need to worry about that. It's ok." Kagami replied. "That's for sure." Adrien said. "Neither the less, today we are getting our acceptance letters for our high schools. I'm so excited." Mylene replied. "Me too. Just remember what we said. We all will still hang out despite being separated and getting new friends. All for Adrien." Nino said. "Thanks. I don't think I'll ever meet a better friend group like you guys." Adrien replied. "Awww." Everyone said. Soon, Luka runs down with the mailbag. "Guys! Guys! It's an emergency! The letters are here!" Luka yelled. The others get pumped, especially Adrien. Soon, Luka hands out each of the letters to each person. They grab them, and start opening. One by one, they get opened. Soon, they read it, and see the results. "LET'S GO!!! We are both going to Hamilton High!!!" Nathaniel and Marc screamed at the same time. "[squeals]. SAME HERE BOYS!!!" Rose and Juleka screamed. "W!!! I made it to Triton High!!!" Kagami yelled. "Same here!!!" Alix yelled. "Us too!!!" Ivan and Mylene yelled, as they then kiss. "HAHAHA!!! Nino and I are going to Braden High!!!" Alya screamed. "Count us in as well!!!" Kim and Max yelled. That leaves Nicolas High. The five people going, Marinette, Adrien, Luka, Chloe, and Sabrina all open there's. "YES!!! YES, YES, YES, YES, YES!!! I MADE IT!!!" Sabrina yelled. "OHHH!!!! US TOO!!!" Chloe and Luka yelled. "AHHHHH!!!! SAME WITH ME!!!" Marinette yelled. "That leaves you Adrien. Huh? Adrien?" Luka asked, as he sees Adrien stand still. Adrien then drops his letter on the ground, and starts to cry. "Adrien. What's.... What's wrong? [grabs letter, and reads it. Marinette then gasp]. Due to the various events regarding your Father, we are sorry to say you aren't accepted to Nicolas High! Are you kidding me?" Marinette asked. "No. It's lying right? It has to be. Yeah. I'm crying over nothing. [laughs nervously]. What a nice joke this is." Adrien replied in a broken tone. "This can't be. It's all there. Even has not accepted in bold. I... I don't think this is a joke. You... you don't get in, Adrien." Nino said. "But... that means. That means. We will be... separated from each other." Adrien replied. "What? No. Well, maybe less than before, but not all the time." Nino said. "It's all a joke. Yeah. That's what it is. It's all a joke, it's all a joke, it's all a joke!!! [takes deep breathes of panic]. It's all a joke, it's all a joke, it's all a joke!!! It's not all a joke!! IT WAS NEVER A JOKE!!!" Adrien replied, as he runs away crying. "ADRIEN!!!" Marinette yelled.
Adrien then slams his bedroom door, and lashes out in his room again. Going berserk making his pillow, his desk, his wall, all of it. Before he falls to the ground in pain. "Kitten. I'm so sorry." Plagg said. "Quiet, Plagg. I need some space." Adrien demanded. Plagg obeys his master, and leaves Adrien alone. As he lies on his floor in pain, his communication box rings. Adrien doesn't answer it. "Aren't you going to answer?" Plagg asked. "I'm not in the mood." Adrien replied. "Now, Adrien. Remember what your friends said. Being alone like this won't help you in anyway. You know that." Plagg said. "I feel more empty than I did before." Adrien replied. "So why not fill it up. Talk to Ladybug. Maybe she will make things feel better." Plagg recommended. Adrien looks at his box, then thinks. "[sighs]. Your lucky I love taking your advice." Adrien said. "Well said." Plagg replied. "[answers]. Hello?" Adrien asked. "Hey, Cat. It's LB again. I was wondering, are you ready to do the reveal because I'm ready when you are?" Marinette asked. "Ohh yeah. The reveal. Listen I don't think...[in flashback, remembers his friends saying they don't hate Adrien despite what happened]... actually... sure. We can do it tonight. At the Eiffel Tower. Does that work?" Adrien asked back. "It does. I'll see you then." Marinette replied, as she hangs up. "Well, at least there is one good thing to come from today. In the meantime, allow me to lay back on the floor, and embrace my miserable existence." Adrien said, as he lives down. Plagg moans in pain for his sad his kitty is feeling.
Later that night, the time has come. Cat Noir is at the top of the Eiffel Tower. He stands there waiting for his Lady. "Yes. I'm ok with this. Like the others said, they didn't care if I was related to a supervillain. They still loved me for who I am despite my connections. To bad people." Cat Noir said. That's when Ladybug shows up. "Well, here we are. The Eiffel Tower. Just as instructed." Ladybug said. "Hello, My Lady." Cat Noir replied. "Still can't believe it's all over. No more Essence. No more Hawkmoth. No more villains. No more anything. It's nice to finally see it all come to an end." Ladybug said. "Yeah. Me too." Cat Noir replied. "So, how do you want to do this? We transform back at the same time? One at a time? I'll let you choose." Ladybug said. "Great. I want to go first." Cat Noir replied. "That was fast. Then again, you have been waiting for this moment for some time." Ladybug said. "This is for different reasons. Now before I do it, I need to say something first. You are probably going to freak out at who I am, but I just want you to know that I know your going to still accept me for who I am under this mask. I have no issues with it anymore. No problems. None of it." Cat Noir replied. "Umm, o...k." Ladybug said. "Ok then. Wow! Ha! We are really going this! I honestly can't believe we are doing this." Cat Noir replied. "Don't just stand there silly cat. Do it." Ladybug said. "Ok. [deep breath]. Claws in." Cat Noir replied, as he de-transforms. Once he is back in civilian mood, Ladybug gasp. She sees Adrien Agreste himself standing right in front of her. "Uhhh, surprise." Adrien said. Ladybug doesn't say a word. She stands there horrified out of her mind. She even backs up, and takes deep breathes of shock. "Oh no! Don't tell me you... you hate me because I'm related to our enemy?" Adrien panicked. "What? No. Not at all." Ladybug replied. "Really? Then, why did you panic?" Adrien asked, as he cools down. "It's just... they were right all along. You and I were made for each other. [Adrien gets confused]. Spots off." Ladybug replied, as hugs Adrien, and de-transforms. Adrien then sees it's Marinette. "Marinette?" Adrien asked shocked. "Surprise. [laughs]. Happy to see me again?" Marinette asked back. Soon, Adrien starts to cry again, as he hugs Marinette. "More than anything in the world!!!" Adrien yelled. They both hug for some time, before eventually letting go. "I can't believe this! Your Ladybug?!" Adrien asked happy. "And your Cat Noir?!" Marinette asked back happy. "Ohh my God! This truly better than I expected!!!" Adrien yelled. "I'm so glad your happy that it lived beyond your expectations! Now, PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW YOU ARE CAT NOIR?!" Marinette asked wanting answers. "With pleasure, My Lady." Adrien replied.
They go onto chat about this, while a TV screen records them. That TV screen comes from within Essence's lair, where Jack and the others sit there and watch. "Finally. Took them long enough. The last piece of my plan is now complete." Jack said. Nooroo, Duusu, and the others float in shock. "What do you mean, plan?" Duusu asked. "Excuse me?" Jack asked back. "PLAN!!! THIS PLAN!!! THIS REVEAL!!! ALL OF IT!!! EXPLAIN IT TO ME NOW!!! WHAT PLAN ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, AND HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?! HOW CAN A NICE TEENAGE BOY LIKE YOU BE THE PERSON I DESPISE FOR YEARS?!" Duusu demanded. Jack then stands quiet, as Duusu gives him a very anger look. The other kwamis fly next to her. "Almost a year ago to this day. I arrived in Paris. [enter flashback, where Jack arrives via airport. Gets his hotel room. And get approved to go to the school]. I was aware of the miraculous for years. [back at base(the laboratory at Essence's lab where he is explaining to be specific)]. When I found out they were in Paris, and they were kids my age, I knew were to start. [back in the flashback]. I immediately knew I had to play the game as safe as I can from the start. Thus, my anger issues come in. [pushes Kim against the wall, and yells at him]. All of it, was to simply hide my true intentions. [After school, Jack runs to an alleyway with his backpack, and duffle bag. When Jack opens it, he pulls out his costume and sword]. The second I put that mask on, I became my legacy as the most feared villain ever to be seen. [whoops LB and CN's butt hard]. Once my debut was done, I became the next phase of my plan. Creating my army of clawers. [creates the clawers. Back at base]. Of the same day, I found out who my enemies were easily." Jack said. "What?" Duusu asked. "All it took was a look at their jewels. [in flashback, he looks at Marinette's earrings, and Adrien's ring]. It did surprise me that Adrien was there. I thought my Father really did put an end to his life. Either way, I knew who they were. But I simply wasn't going to take their miraculous like that. Where is the fun in it? Besides, I need to find out where the others were the other miraculous were at. So laying low was my next objective. [finds them in NYC, and Shanghai]. Those both were failures, but it helped plant the seeds for... future plans. [clawers and him attack Paris yet again before Essence 2.0]. The time off also gave me a chance to develop my invisible tech. Making sure more menacing than before. Unfortunately, it seems some people were slightly onto me. [overhears Marinette and Alya talking about how Jack can be Essence]. I'll admit, it was foolish of me to appear as Essence the same day I arrived. [back at base]. However, I'm always two steps ahead of the game. [back in flashback, Jack rounds a corner, after looking at Ladybug chasing the bus. He goes into a warehouse, where he finds his new toy. An identical robot of himself]. "He's perfect. Just as planned." Jack said, as he dress the robot up inside his Essence costume. ["Essence" twist Jack's arm, which makes him scream, and slams him against the wall. He proceeds to chase after Ladybug]. I risked breaking my own arm to sell a scam. It was painful, but worth it. [Miraculous Ladybug fixes his hand. Jack smiles sinisterly]. Once my connections with Essence were gone, I laid low again. Did end up in several issues with Shadowmoth. [got possessed by Malidictator in Mega Leech. Got sucked into Guiltrip by Guiltrip. And several other occasions]. I even got akumatized by Shadowmoth to once again sell the point I wasn't the man they thought I was. [back at base]. How did I pull that off? Simple. I trained my emotions, so that I can be any emotion I wanted at any time. It wasn't easy, but allowed me to give realistic reactions to stuff. As for me not spilling the beans about being Essence, that too was taken care of thanks to some practice. [back in flashback]. I trained my mental state during my time off. Allowing me to keep control of my mind. Even if I got akumatized. Therefore, I was once again in the clear. [After the heroes leave when they saved Jack in Pitch Black, he smiles again]. Those were simply minor chores. My next objective was to find the identities of all the miraculous wearers. Shadowmoth I already knew thanks to Dad, the others were easy to get. [sends his clawers to find them]. Thanks to the invisible powers of my robots, and newly added recording devices in their heads, I was able to find out each hero identify one by one. As well, as use them to stalk my enemies. You know your a great villain if you know everything about your nemesis. Once I had them all, I could simply play with them for as long as I wanted. When I decided to get the miraculous, I would be set for the future. Planning ahead as I like to call it. While this was happening, I kept noticing something weird. I kept seeing Cat Noir, Ladybug's loyal cat, being left out. Bullied. Abandoned. Etc. I could have cared less, but it did help give me an idea. Since Adrien is a member of The Void, I figured I get myself a new alley to help me. I spied on the events going forward. Capturing any moment of Ladybug leaving Cat Noir out. There were dozens of options to choose from, but one caught my eye. [clawer shows Essence Ladybug's plan to replace Cat because of her CB trauma]. "This is... purfect!!!" Jack yelled. So through the power of tech, I created the mask that would have helped me win. Sure, I did say I can play with them for as long as I wanted, which allowed me many chances to torture them, but this plan... was amazing. [back at base]. Just watching Ladybug suffer for what she did forever. Feeling responsible for the death of her teammates. As well as losing all the miraculous. It's genius!!! Unfortunately, I succeed in another timeline. In this universe, it was a failure. [back in flashback. Ladybug throws Essence away, and Essence gets his butt whooped by Cat Noir]. I was full of rage. [screams inside of throne room]. My plan was flawless on every level. How could I have failed like that? It was impossible. However, my failure didn't matter in the end. My identical robot, which was at Luka's party to once again help lower my suspicion, brought me something I couldn't believe. [gives Jack the Peacock miraculous]. The Peacock miraculous. [back at base]. Just to clarify, it was a stroke of luck to how we got you. We didn't plan on it, but we got you. [back in flashback]. At first, I was going to use you to kill Gabriel, but then, an idea hatched in my mind. [goes to whiteboard, and starts writing]. I grew ideas. Genius ideas. Brilliant ideas. Until it all came to the plan you want answers for. My Master Plan. First, I needed to gain your trust, while still playing my part as angered teen. [smacks Duusu with phone, but says sorry]. Being abusive allowed me to have fun with weak creatures like you. And I managed to get you to still trust me with the power of real emotions. Soon after some time, I became my hero persona, Blue Bird. "Ohhhhh, I'm so excited. This is going to such an awesome memory to cherish. All you have to is say, Duusu, spread my feathers." Duusu said. "[deep breath]. Alright, let's do this. Duusu, spread my feathers." Jack replied, as he transforms into Blue Bird. Then I had to gain the trust of LB, and CN. CN was easy to get, LB was a challenge. [both of them fighting over time]. It did lead to me intentionally getting attacked by Cat Noir, however, it helped me in advance. And soon, I was able to score two wins at the same time. The next part of my Master Plan was to pull a Trixx on everyone. I started by targeting people Adrien cared about. Who knew it only took two people to really piss him off. And all I had to do was put one in a mental institute, and paralyze the others Dad. I knew he would be the perfect person to help pull off my plan. That, and the fact that Adrien is my favorite of the heroes. Why do you think I'm happy we became arc nemesis? Speaking of that, I also knew he was weak, and that shattering his soul was easy. As he did my little chores, I needed to make sure everything else was in check for the future. Starting with curing Nathalie. [gets the grimoire from Cat, and starts working on an cure. He trades it for the katana, and Nathalie is saved]. With her down, the next was Gabriel. "Your heart is frozen solid. Mine's a rotten organ." Essence replied. I knew waking Gabe up would help me pull off my plan. But I also wanted Cat in on it as well. After all, I knew we wanted to kill me. And he says we aren't one of the same. Of course, I have been torturing him a bit too much, [sees events of Mentality, Torture, and Sympathy], so I needed to give him a reason to fight back. Thus, the framing. [leaves pen in Kagami's house, and friendship bracelet at bridge. Overlooks Kagami and Chloe hugging Adrien, telling him it's ok. Jack smiles]. Once they helped him back up, I knew I was ready to pull it all off. "Fine. [grabs shoulder]. Hope you love chocolate cat. Because I'm cooking your butt tomorrow." Essence said, as he pushes Cat to the ground. At the same time, I finally got Ladybug to trust me. It was a lot of hard work, but it paid off to the end of my second phase. "[as Blue Bird, he pulls out a feather]. Ohh my amok. Feel my emotions. Use them to help bring me creation come to life." Blue Bird said. [places amok into knife, and creates senti. An exact replica of Essence, except he is actually Derek Malcolm. The same one we saw in End of Essence]. "Derek Malcolm aka Essence, I am Blue Bird. You live to obey this simply order. Fight Cat, his friends, and Hawkmoth at Hank's Coco Corp. Make sure they kill you. And above all, make sure your death is believable enough to finish my plan." Blue Bird ordered. "Yes, master." Derek Malcolm replied. Once I saw that factory go up in smoke, and see the body found the next day, I was more happy than any psycho can be. Which now leads to a question you have for me, Duuus. [back at base]. How did I do all of this, without you knowing? Thank, Mind Wiper for that. [in flashback]. There were times you found out who I was. [backs up against corner horrified]. But like I said, I'm always two steps ahead of the game. [uses Mind Wipers to brainwash her]. "Good. In five minutes, she'll forget everything associated with Essence, and you. Thank you for your time, my friend." Jack said, as he greats the object containing MW's amok. It wasn't easy pulling that off, but I love challenges. In fact, I forgot how many times I wiped your mind. Maybe a few hundred times. Possible thousand. Who knows, who cares? Once Essence was dead, I figured it would be a good time to rest for a bit. At the same time, you helped me get the Aquatic Box, and Ladybug helps me get closer to her team. I got along with them well, and they saw me as one of their own. However, there was one problem. No, it wasn't the fact they were getting new powers. [back at base]. I could still easily take them all out. It was the fact that I needed to lose Duusu." Jack replied. "Uhhh, I'm confused." Nooroo said. "Then shut up and listen. [back in flashback]. I monitored Gabe daily, and saw him getting to be a better parent. Allowing him to let his guard down enough for me. However, if I wanted to permanently take Gabe out, I needed him to have Duusu. Then give her back to me. The part where he would give her to me was already on the horizon. As he struggles to choose between ending his reign of terror, or continuing down it despite what his son says. However, I still struggled to find a way to lose Duusu. Even with my intelligence, I still had a hard time. I spend nights thinking of ideas, but no matter how hard I thought, I couldn't find a plan that works. That all changed when Ladybug's jealousy came into play. "Hold on. [thinks, then gasp]. Don't tell me your... jealous at them?" Blue Bird asked. "What? Of course not. I'm not upset they get the spotlight more than me, I mean, the team." Ladybug replied shocked. "Right. Now I think I know the issue here. Your jealous at them for being the heroes, as we are forced to be the spectators." Blue Bird said. "That's not true at all!" Ladybug yelled. "Right. Whatever you say, Ladybug." Blue Bird said. "I'm not messing around. I mean it!" Ladybug yelled. "I know. I know. Just don't let your ego get in the way." Blue Bird said, as he leaves. [then, we see BB spy of LB and CN, when LB told Cat what she overheard. It makes him smile]. It was her ego that was going to help me. [back at base]. If she was planning to really end the Treacherous Trio, I knew she would be the one to help me with my work. [in flashback]. So I made sentis to steal her spotlight on purpose. Day, by day, she gets more mad at me, as I get happier. Of course, I knew Duusu would question why I'm doing this, but I had it taken care of weeks ago. "Yes I was psycho when we first met, but after some adjusting, we both grew such a strong bond. One, that would shatter my heart of broken. My point is, I've never had such genuine friends in my life. Until now. And you Duusu, are my favorite. So, I want to make it up to you for being so good to me. As in, letting everyone see how awesome your power is. Do you understand?" Jack asked. With that, all I needed to do was wait. Wait to the point where she finally snaps. Heck! Even Farfalla was helping me. [clawer shows him video of when she tried to manipulate LB back in Crocoduel 2.0. Jack smiles sinisterly]. Soon, I broke her enough for her to do what I needed. [Ladybug takes the Peacock miraculous away from him]. And at the perfect time, since Farfalla was there to take it from me. "DUUSU!!!" Jack yelled. The last thing I needed to do was to celebrate my success. And by celebrate, I mean make Gabe want to stop being the villain, and give me Nooroo and Duusu. [back at base]. Of course he would choose me for this. I knew Duusu would want to be with me after all we've been through. Out of all the kwamis, you were the easiest to manipulate. [Duusu looks traumatized. back to flashback]. All I had to do was become Pitch Black, and cause enough mayhem for Gabriel to want to call it quits. And my God, it worked perfectly. Finally, my plan worked exactly as I was dreaming. "[gets the Butterfly and Peacock miraculous]. Thank you so much, Gabriel. I promise, I'll take awesome care of them both. [looks at, and hugs Duusu]. Ohh, Duusu." Jack said. When Gabe gave them to me, you thought it was the a beautiful end for his redemption. When in reality, it helped me complete what I have been working on for so long. [fires the gun at Gabe's head. End flashback]." Jack replied. The kwamis are speechless. Especially Nooroo and Duusu. "So... all this time, all this time, I believed you were a misunderstood kid. But really this whole time I was mindless helping, ESSENCE?! But, why?! Why do all of this if your not even related to The Void?! Your last name is Edgers! That's not in the Void at all!" Duusu yelled. "How glad you asked. There is one last detail I left out." Jack replied. "What?" Duusu asked. "Remember when my Father, Jerry Edgers, came to school? Yeah. That wasn't him. [in flashback, before the school day starts, BB makes a sentimonster of Jerry himself. Giving him the orders to abuse Jack to sell yet another scam. Duusu is even more mind blown]. Allow me to give you two a hint to explain this." Jack replied. He pulls out a photo from his pocket, and shows it to the kwamis. Nooroo and Duusu immediately gasp in horror. "No! It can't be!" Nooroo said. "[laughs manically]. My real name isn't, Jack Edgers. My real is... Jack Malcolm. [drops photo, which is a pic of Emilie holding a baby Jack, with Derek by her side. The kwamis are horrified]. Son of Derek Malcolm. Son of Emilie Agreste. Half brother... of Adrien Agreste himself." Jack replied. He begins to slowly, but surely laugh in such a psychotic way. All while the kwamis watch in absolute horror as they finally see who Jack Edgers really is behind the mask.
