Many rich and famous people were invited to JC's charity dinner. Whether you received an invitation depended on how successful you were.
The point of this dinner was obvious – JC auctioned things, and you pay for them in the name of charity.
The reason why so many people were willing to attend was so that they could suck up to JC and its new president, in hope of future collaborations.
Jimin, on the other hand, didn't have to come at all. He was in the entertainment industry, and JC had yet to invest in this area.
He came because the name of JC's foundation name was the 'Lisa Foundation'.
Jimin knew that it was named after Lisa, so he had to come, and he dragged Taehyung along with him.
"You can start now," Jungkook ordered.
Then, the MC walked to the center of the stage and began his opening remarks...
"The first item we have is a white sandalwood fan. It's a part of JC's Chairman's collection. We'll be starting the bid at 2 million."
The rich businessmen began bidding against each other; in the end, the sandalwood fan was sold for a sky-high price of 4 million.
Lisa looked from below the stage; she was happy because she knew that all the funds they collected tonight would go to the Lisa Foundation.
Then, the money would be used to build schools and provide food for the children living in the poverty-stricken Seoraksan Mountain area.
An hour had passed, and the items were slowly auctioned off.
"Are you hungry?" Jungkook whispered by her ear.
"A little."
"It'll just be a while longer, we'll go get dinner once this is over."
"Okay." Lisa nodded.
Their fingers interlocked as they sat in the front row and watched the auction go on.
Finally, the MC announced, "Now, I would like to show everyone here our last item up for bid. It is JC's newest line of jewelry, co-designed by the company's seven renowned designers. Its name is 'Prosperous youth'.
Then, the MC began introducing the composition, style, and design concept of the jewelry on the overhead projector.
Lisa didn't realize that the jewels she was wearing were worth as much as 5 million until she heard the MC's introduction.
In the end, the MC announced, "Now, let's welcome Miss Lisa onto the stage to showcase this set of jewelry."
"Go on, don't be nervous," Jungkook consoled.
Lisa nodded; then, she got up to slowly walk onto the stage, standing right under the spotlight.
On her face was a warm, sweet smile. She looked beautiful.
Jimin couldn't take his eyes off of her ...
"Hey, stop staring at her, your eyes might get stuck if you stare for too long," Taehyung joked.
"The starting price of 'Prosperous Youth' will be 5 million. Any takers?"
"6 million," someone shouted.
"6.8 million."
"8.8 million."
"10.5 million."
This was a limited edition set that JC only produced one of. Therefore, many wealthy men wanted to buy it, either for their wife, their daughter, or their lover.
Anyways, the auction went off with a great start, and the price climbed very steeply, and very fast.
"18 million." Jungkook raised his card. Did he actually want to spend that much money to buy it for himself? Nope, he just wanted to raise the price, and gather more funds for the Lisa Foundation.
After Jungkook entered the bid, the competition grew even fiercer.
"19.9 million." Someone raised their card.
"30 million." This time, Jungkook increased the number by another 10 million.
The others fell silent... 30 million was too much for them.
"30 million once..."
"30 million twice..."
"30 million..." Before the MC could finish speaking, a low voice sounded from the seats towards the end of the room. "50 million."
The crowd went wild upon hearing this number.
Lisa was also slightly surprised. She stood in the middle of the stage and tried to see who the person holding up their card was.

Jimin stood up, adjusted the collar of his suit and walked up to the center of the stage.

They then put them on a tray and handed the tray to Lisa.

Jimin took the jewelry in his hands silently. Then, he looked around and said, "Since I bought this set of jewelry at such a high price, can I make a small request?"
"Of course, President Park," the MC immediately replied.
"I'd like a photo with Ms. Lisa."
Everyone in the ballroom was flabbergasted by what he just said...
Was Jimin actually asking the model who showcased the jewelry for a photo? Wow, he was still as perverted as ever.
Lisa was a little surprised; she never thought that Jimin would make such a request.
Embarrassed, she looked at Jungkook...
Jungkook, on the other hand, didn't seem to oppose it. After all, they were in public.
"That... is not a problem, here, Ms. Lisa, stand here." The MC wasn't aware of Lisa and Jungkook's relationship.
Therefore, he agreed to Jimin's request on behalf of Lisa.
Just then, Jungkook slowly walked up to the stage, "President Park spent so much money, this is such a nice gesture to me and to JC. As a thank you, I would also like to take a photo with him."
Then, he walked up and stood between Jimin and Lisa...
"OHHHH SHIIIIIIIT! This Jungkook is awful." Taehyung watched as he bursted into laughter.

The sale of the last jewelry set marked the end of the charity dinner. Jungkook held onto Lisa's hand as they walked out together.
"What do you want to eat?"

"President Park, you should save something this expensive for yourself. If my wife likes it, I can ask my department to design another one, just for her." Jungkook smiled.
"This is mine, I can give it to whoever I want. Lisa, take it." Jimin forcibly stuffed the jewelry box into Lisa's hands.
"I don't want it."
Lisa immediately returned the jewelry back to Jimin, and she moved very quickly without hesitation.
"Why?"
"Because it's too expensive."
"I don't think it's expensive, just keep it. You've taken great care of me at the recuperation center, so just take this gift as my thanks to you." Jimin awkwardly made up an excuse.
Lisa still shook her head. "I'm an employee at South Side, and I was just doing my job. Thank you, though."
Then, Lisa wrapped her arm around Jungkook's. "Kook, let's go and eat."
"Okay." Jungkook nodded, and then the two drove away in the Maybach.
Jimin stood there unmovingly with the jewelry set in his hands, as he upsettingly watched the two of them leave...
He had never envied anyone his whole life, because he was born with everything anyone could ever want.
However today, he truly envied Jungkook, because Lisa stood beside him and gently smiled at him.
"I told you not to come, you're paying money to get tortured..." Taehyung got out of the car and pulled Jimin into it.

Jungkook and Lisa then drove to a Sichuan-style spicy hot pot restaurant. The restaurant wasn't big, but there were plenty of people.
Jungkook wanted to change a place because there weren't any private rooms inside, but Lisa thought that it was too troublesome, so the two sat in the hall of the first floor.
The hall was very big, with thirty or so tables, and the overall atmosphere was quite nice.
Lisa and Jungkook found a two-person table and sat down. Then, Lisa picked up the pencil on the table and wrote down the orders.
Jungkook took out his phone to look at the company's summary of the charity banquet...
"We received two hundred and thirty million in donations, not bad." Jungkook nodded.
"That much?" Lisa felt somewhat surprised.

Each and every one of them had a baseball bat in their hands, and after they went in, without a single word, they directly rushed over to the table of men and proceeded to beat them up brutally...
Immediately, beer bottles flew into the air, and screams filled the space...
The other customers were so scared that they began screaming, and Jungkook immediately pulled Lisa to the side, worried that she would get hurt.
A few minutes later, those men all fell to the floor with blood all over their faces. The scene was truly gruesome....
The tall beautiful woman then slowly walked towards them in her high heels...
Then that girl stepped on one of the men's hands and slowly said, "Didn't you all want to know who I rely on? I'll tell you, I don't need to rely on a sugar daddy, because I can rely on my actual dad. Having such a filthy mouth doesn't get you anywhere. Don't let me see your face again, or else I'll have you beaten up every time I see you."
After the girl spoke, she turned around to leave with her group... and didn't even eat the hot pot.
The restaurant owner was so scared that he didn't dare to stop them...
Someone even called the cops, but after they arrived, the police only asked procedural questions.
"Were you scared?" Jungkook asked as he hugged Lisa.
"No, it's pretty satisfying, after everything they said, they had it coming. It's disgusting for those men to gossip like that, and even insult that poor girl. It's good that they were beaten up." Lisa smiled.
"Let's go. Let's go to another restaurant."
Before the two even had a few bites, this incident happened, and so they couldn't eat here anymore...
They passed by a McDonald's on the way back, and Lisa said that it's been a while since she last had a hamburger, so the two went inside for fast food.

Jimin felt very upset, and after two bottles of liquor, he became tipsy...
"Stop drinking, you've already drank more than enough." Taehyung tried to convince him as he looked at the empty bottles.
Jimin didn't say anything, but his expression was quite melancholic...
He took out his phone and flipped through instagram, but Lisa hadn't updated in quite a while.
He wanted to talk to her, but he didn't know how to contact her. Even though he had her number, he couldn't bring himself to call.
Jimin still had a lot of dignity, and it wouldn't be okay for him to cling onto her. It wasn't his style...
"Tae, do you think that I still have a chance?" Jimin asked as he sighed.
"You want me to tell you the truth or lie?"
"The truth of course." Jimin rolled his eyes.
"From your current scenario, I think there's a very small and unlikely chance that you would get her. Besides, you met Lisa not too long ago, but I heard that Jungkook has known her for many years, and they were high school classmates, they are childhood sweethearts..."
"Then you might as well lie to me." Jimin immediately changed his mind.
