The teacher walked in saying class was done Jango pulled his shirt back on and walked over to me on the step up machine. “hey red come on.” I got down and he led me to the girls locker room. “seeya around red.” He stated leaning on the wall by the door. I walked into the locker room and he walked away. I changed into my normal clothes and walked out of the locker room seeing Jango across from the door changed and Tony by the door he grabbed my arm and pulled me away asking “are you ok? Did he touch you?” I hit him upside the head and said “I would have screamed when he did moron.” Tony shrugged and we walked down the hall leaving Jango behind. As we walked a guy pushed between us and I watched him walk away. He walked over to Jango who nodded and gave him a high five.
I rolled my eyes and Tony grabbed my elbow, he pulled me along to the next class. Good thing I was paying attention to where we were going otherwise would have walked into three different walls. “Tony slow down.”
Tony finally stopped I felt his hand tighten in mine. “Tony calm down.” I stated he looked pissed he took a deep breath and said “sorry.” We walked into class and sat in our seats. As we relaxed in class Tony talked with me about his friends and who he thought was good people for me to know. I just ignored him. I didn’t need advice on friends as I sat there the class filled up I didn’t see Jango anywhere but I did see two guys wearing leather jackets and one was Hank.
He nudged his head my way and I smiled back. As the teacher walked in she started up the class I wasn’t really paying attention I was more of thinking about what was going on. I just got here and this Jango guy seemed to be all over me. Maybe he was a major player and just wanted to get into my pants. Maybe he actually liked me? Nagh.. the teacher spun around shouting “HANK GREYSTONE YOU THROW ANOTHER PAPER BALL AT MISS HODDLY AND YOUR GONNA GET A WEEKS WORTH OF DETENTION!” I looked over my shoulder and he crossed his arms. He pouted and the teacher continued class. He then pointed at the paper balls on the ground. I rolled my eyes and picked one up I unraveled it and opened it seeing a note. ‘want to hang out?’ I looked back over at him and shook my head no.
The bell rang and I walked out with Tony as we walked to the car. We reached the house in no time as we pulled up I saw cars all lined up in front of the house. Tony smiled and said “oh yeah mom’s throwing a celebration of you coming to stay here.” I smiled and we walked into the house. The whole house was packed as was the back yard. I walked up the stairs and changed into short shorts and a tank top. Aunt May came in saying “oh honey you look beautiful.” I smiled and she pulled me down stairs and out to the back yard. I saw my old friends all around. They ran over to me and we all hugged. As we hugged I heard “so you know my girl huh?” I turned seeing Hank. Brooke my friend laughed and said “oh right Ruby this is my boyfriend Hank.” I nodded and he pointed over to the forest I saw Jango there watching us.
I rolled my eyes and Brook pulled me to the Karaoke stand and put on ‘take a chance’ by Abba one of our favorite songs I laughed as Faith went on my right side as the song stated we started to sing. As we sang the guys started to chance “take a chance, take a chance, take a chance chance.”

As we finished singing my old friends laughed and hugged me. Faith and Brook were like my sister back when I was ten we kept in contact through letters there humans not wolves so they don’t know about the wolf life. Faith has red curly hair that’s as wild as her personality, with the brightest green eyes you ever seen, Brooke has long blonde hair that’s pin straight while her eyes are a deep chocolate brown. Both girls are model figures. We laughed as everyone clapped to the beat of the song. We loved singing old songs. It was our fun time. Tony ran up to the mic as we stepped down and he laughed saying “I just found the perfect song for Ruby guys come here.” His friends went on stage and a cool beat some on. I laughed as they sang the song ‘lil red ridding hood’ performed by Bowling for soup.

The girls and I cracked up at the song but I knew that was going to be my new ring tone. I danced with Faith and Brook to the song it was so much fun. The rest of the night was spent singing and dancing with my friends. I have to say I was very glad I moved here to live I wouldn’t suffer here and I would be happy. I didn’t care about Nathan anymore I knew he was probably pissed he lost his Beta but he shouldn’t have rejected me. I finished dancing and sat at a picnic table taking a breather.
“you look happy.” I heard I spun around seeing Jango sitting there. “yeah I am so I have a question for you.” I stated he nodded for me to continue. “why are you here I know you don’t know my family besides my cousin.” He nodded and stated “Hank invited me since you’re his girlfriend’s best friend.” I nodded and asked “so why were you starring at me all day today?” he smirked and leaned on the table saying “I like the way you look is there a problem with that?” I smiled saying “no but it makes you look like a creep.” He nodded and said “I’ll try to tone it down then so I don’t look like a creep.” I nodded and stated “that might help you.” He chuckled and took a swig of his drink. “so why did you move here Red?” he asked. “well I had um… had trouble where I was from.” I stated not wanting to tell him about my pack.
“what kind of trouble?” he asked “well lets say my heart got ripped out.” He choked on his drink. “what? You were in love with a guy…” he seemed to have changed like he grew angry at me being with another guy. “not really he didn’t even give me a chance.” His jaw tightened and he looked away. “well it’s that guys loss you’re a real cool girl that I can tell.” I smiled and said “thanks Jango.” He nodded and went back to his drink. “you like the guy?” he asked suddenly. “I knew as I know you.” He nodded and said “so why was your heart ripped out?” I smiled and said “let’s say it was a destined soul mate. At least it was supposed to be.” His eyes brightened and he smiled saying “that’s sound like a wolf thing.” I stiffened and he smirked. “I thought you smelled like a pup.” He leaned in closer saying “so he was your mate?” I nodded and asked “what are you in pack life?” he smirked and his eyes flashed the golden wolf color. “alpha you?” I smield saying “beta.” He chuckled and asked “the male?” I looked away saying “Alpha.” He nodded and asked “you know there are two…” before he finished Tony grabbed my arm and pulled me away.
