William's sudden burst startled both Aneria and Aiden.
This caused Aneria to lose balance, seconds from falling but...
'Clasp'
Aiden had moved quickly and caught her as she was about to fall.
His right strong veiny hand had grabbed her small waist to keep her from falling.
'Badump, Badump, Badump' (Aneria)
Her heart pounded for a couple of seconds.
Unfortunately due to the pink atmosphere, she couldn't help but notice William's gaze from afar.
That brought Aneria back to her senses making her even more flustered by the situation she was in.
The clueless Aiden who looked down at her flustered red face furrowed his eyebrows with a worried expression.
'I-I..was about to kiss him?!' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
Aiden broke the silence ignoring the stunned William at the scene as he felt the sudden movement of Aneria, who was trying to get out of his grasp.
"Are you alright princess?" (Aiden, asked)
He really looked concerned as he could not differentiate if she was embarrassed by the situation or if she managed to get hurt before he caught her.
Aneria had finally fixed her position and removed Aiden's arm.
"Yes, I'm fine thank you." (Aneria, said)
Even though she tried to respond dryly to him, she sounded quite embarrassed.
"I should get going now. This concludes our lesson." (Aneria, said)
She moved her eyes away from Aiden as she spoke with a rushing tone trying to get away fast enough.
"Goodbye." (Aneria, said)
Her eyes turned back to look at him as they shook in embarrassment and the heat on her cheeks had intensified.
Finally saying her goodbye's she walked out the door without looking back.
Meanwhile.....
William had looked at the leaving Aneria then turned back and looked at Aiden.
"Ack" (William, screamed)
William had jumped like a scared cat.
"I'm sorry! I'm really sorry! I-It's" (William, cried)
He apologized countless of times with a very apologetic tone.
'Oh god, I had to interrupt this moment! Is today the day I die?' (William's inner thoughts)
William had his closed eyes as he yelled. Then took a peek at Aiden again.
'Ugh, he has the expression of a grim reaper waah!' (William's inner thoughts)
A shiver went down William's spine.
It was as if Aiden had black smoke surrounding him.
He had stood there in a very bad mood looking at William with dagger eyes.
"I-If I had known I-" (William, cried)
Willaim tried to justify his sudden burst but Adien interrupted him.
"Where is he?" (Aiden, asked)
He asked with a very cold voice and a furiously annoyed face.
"We have him at the dungeons" (William, said)
William quickly answered before making Aiden even more displeased.
"Guide me" (Aiden, said)
Without a second delay, Aiden answered coldly.
"Y-yes." (William, said)
William said and turned around to head to the dungeons.
'Haaa, I lived' (William's inner thoughts)
He may be a goofball and a little off the screws but he sure knew that the betraying knight was never going to get the end of it.
'If I didn't know any better he'll release his anger on him rather than...I kinda feel bad for him.' (William's inner thoughts)

He had gotten lucky today but that did not stop the burning sensation Aiden's furious gaze gave on William's back.
In the couple's bedroom-
'Bang'
Aneria quickly closed the door.
"No" (Aneia, yelled)

"Ugh no!" (Aneria, yelled)
She grabbed her head stressed as she yelled in frustration and embarrassment.
Suddenly...
'Knock, knock' (Autumn's special knock.)
It was Autumn's and Aneria's special knock.
Aneria quickly turned and opened the door.
'Creak'
Door noise.
"Ah your hig-"(Autumn, said)
'Slam'
Closing door noise.
Autumn had a worried face but before she could finish Aneria had yanked Autumn inside the bedroom and shut the door.
"Help me Autumn, What do I do now?!" (Aneria, asked)
Aneria was nervous and agitated blocking the door.
But some part of her dark blue eyes looked scared and terrified.
It was Autumn's first time seeing Aneria like this.
If she didn't know any better Aneria looked like an embarrassed teenager rather than a twenty-one-year-old young woman.
But her eyes also said something.
"Your highness please calm down and explain what happened." (Autumn, said)
Autumn tried calming her down.
'Why is she like this? It's like a side I have never seen in all my years with her...' (Autumn's inner thoughts)
She wonder what it was, Autumn had a slight clue but didn't know if the guess was right.
Aneria put both palms covering her face in stress.
In fact, Aneria's reactions may have been seen as unusual but it was to be expected since it was new emotions that she was going through, and had no idea how to face them.
'What's happening with me? This isn't like me! I'm a woman who is supposed to put up a wall! What is all this?' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
'From the very start I said to myself, no I choice to ignore the obvious!' (Aneria's inner thoughts)

Aneria had finally removed her hands away from her stressed face and looked at Autumn.
"Autumn you have to promise not to tell.... I'm disappointed, angry, embarrassed and my pride hurts my pride." (Aneria, said)

Autumn scrunched her eyes worriedly as she scanned Aneria.
"I promise your highness, so calm down and breath" (Autumn, said)
Autumn said as if pacifying a child to ease her worries.
Aneria finally calmed down.

At Autumn's reassurance, it was as if Aneria's worries eased.
"Well, let's just say...." (Aneria, said)
A small pink blush appeared on her cheeks again embarrassed to even speak of such thing.
"M-Me and the prince were about to kiss" (Aneria, said)
Aneria quickly said with a rushed tone as her face soon turned red in embarrassment to avoid further delay.
She quickly closed her eyes to avoid even looking at Autumn's surprised expression.
"!!" (Autumn)
A whole minute had gone in silence without Autumn saying a word.
This made Aneria extremely embarrassed so she peeked out again and saw Autumn had still a shocked face.
'I knew it!' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
Aneria now had opened both eyes.
She felt more like she had traumatized Autumn so Aneria tried to clarify herself.
"Ha, it's a long story." (Aneria, said)
She signed.
"Let's just say I got carried away for a moment.." (Aneria, said)
'Pause'
She paused for a second.
"Actually from the very start" (Aneria, said)
She turned to look to the left as she avoided Autumn's eyes speaking in an embarrassed and ashamed disappointed tone.
"B-But he has no excuse either!" (Aneria, said)
And that was true in his part too.
Her head turned back so fast as her agitated and annoyed voice came to show.
She added now blabbering to herself and moving her eyes back and forth as if going roundabout with her words.
"But you see, your brother came in and luckily interrupted us. This brought me to my senses. But Autmum your brother.." (Aneria, said)
Autumn knew what Aneria was trying to say.
"I understand. I'll make sure my brother keeps his mouth shut." (Autumn, said)
Autumn's face was calm and collected but her thoughts were a different case.
'How dare William interrupt this moment! He will not hear the end of it!' (Autumn's inner thoughts)
It was as if Atutumn had invisible flames making Aneria misunderstand.
'Ha, I'm glad that she can tell William to not say a word.' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
Aneria's face had relaxed when Autumn suddenly asked.
"But what are you thinking to do about his highness?" (Autumn, asked)
Her face remained calm but anyone would know how shiny and sparkly her curious eyes were.
The ignorance of Aneria continued.
"I'll just pretend as if nothing happened and he would probably too. I was so close to kiss him that simply can never happen." (Aneria, said)
She turned to look to the right as if it didn't bother her.
'I need to put a stop before it gets worse. I don't know what he really thinks. He may be acting this way towards me to put my guard down. We agreed to take the throne but if I keep letting my guard down at this rate who knows when he might kill me.' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
'I look like a fool acting this way, I'm not a teenager anymore I should already know my boundaries and he shall not move them.' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
'My mistake was automatically falling for the looks of that man and letting myself continue to fall for his gentle demeanor.' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
'Anyways...what I know for sure is that he hates the king and wants the crown, but really he doesn't need me if I think about it. He only needs me for the time being. To him, I'm just a pond he can dispose of when he gets tired. This means when we finally get the throne...he will probably kill me.' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
She furrowed her eyebrows as she thought.
'Though I doubt he can kill me but the intention is sure there so I have to prepare my heart so I can kill him at the moment he tries to kill me. If my feelings keep getting this conflicted it would be hard to kill him so I can't end up in that situation.' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
Her dark expression had now turned lighter.
She turned to look at Autumn with a confident face.
"Autumn can you prepare a bath. I'm a bit tired and I have to think of what to tell him so we can set conditions." (Aneria, said)
"Yes, right away." (Autumn, said)
Autumn quickly responded and went to prepare Aneria's bath.
Aneria looked at Autumn as she headed to the bathroom.
"I have to set restrictions." (Aneria said)
'I won't let him play like this with my heart again.' (Aneria's inner thoughts)

Later at night in the couple's bedroom-
Aneria took a nap on the couch waiting for Aiden to come.

Aiden came in with a sleeping white blouse and sleeping black pants.
While his necklace once again remained on the same spot inside his white blouse.
He came in with wet hair and three hot towels resting on his left arm. While he carried a wide big golden bowl. It had warm water and it smelled like it had a few drops of the new muscle relief pain medicine.
Aiden looked up at the confused Aneria who had just woken up.
"Did I wake you up?" (Aiden asked)
Aiden asked softly as he approached her.
'Yes you did' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
"No" (Aneria, said)
She said indifferently.
Of course, she wasn't going to admit it either.
As Aiden got closer she noticed Aiden's wet hair.
"Why didn't you take a bath here?" (Aneria, asked)
She asked somehow bothered and her dark blue eyes seemed somewhat curious.
"I reeked from the dungeon." (Aiden, said)
Aiden bitterly smiled as he said.
'Oh' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
"I see.." (Aneria)
Aneria knew what that meant.
Aiden had finally walked to the couch.
He laid a long white towel on the floor. Then he placed the two folded towels on top of the towel he had spread.
And finally had to place the bowl on the ground.
As he was doing that, he was kneeling on both his knees looking at Aneria with his dripping wet hair.
'Drip, Drip, Drip'
Water droplets fell from Aiden's hair down to Aneria's feet.
Fortunately, the cold water droplets that had fallen down her feet did not bother her but...

'What is this man doing? And does he know he's kneeling down? In front of me..' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
'Is he not aware or what?' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
Aneria looked down at Aiden.
"What are you doing?" (Aneria, asked)
She asked with a raised brow.
"I'm giving you an apology." (Aiden, said)
Aiden said with an indifferent tone as he continued to look down.
"What?" (Aneria, asked)
She was confused.
'Is he going to apologize about that incident..' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
Aneria's cheeks suddenly turned pink caught off guard he in away pointed it out.
Luckily Aiden was busy laying down the things so he had not noticed her pink cheeks.
He continued to speak.
"I stepped on your feet a lot, that might have hurt." (Aiden, said)
He said softly.
'Oh..it was about that' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
Somehow Aneria felt both conflicted and relieved.
Aiden then grabbed Aneria by her left ankle and took out her slipper with his right hand, but his left hand remained on her left ankle.
He stared at it in silence.
'It's so fair and soft' (Aiden's inner thought)
Aiden eyes glowed in lust.
He imagined himself caressing her left ankle, tickling it as his tongue moved upwards.
He wanted not only to lick her whole but he wanted to suck her of everything.
He unconsciously leaned his face towards her ankle.

He only grabbed her ankle again
"Shh, princess don't move. I need concentration" (Aiden, said)

'Concentration for what? And he clearly just ignored my two questions...' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
She could have started an argument but since Aiden's hands were still touching her ankle, her embarrassment soon kicked in again.
Every time he would treat her like this it was as if her walls would crumble.
Why was it so hard to keep her mask up in front of this man?
Was it due to the hopes she saw in her parents?
Yes this man clearly had a certain side that she knew was not healthy but it was just as if she was avoiding the red flags in this man.
Aiden smiled at Aneria then looked down at her feet.
'I'm quite grateful for these big towels' (Adien's inner thoughts)
He thought as he looked up again at Aneria.
'Her ankles are really soft but thoes lips are even softer. (Aiden's inner thoughts)
Aiden smiled at Aneria.
'Why does he keep looking at me like that?' (Aneria's inner thoughts)

Then Aiden looked back down at her feet and with his right hand he wetted the towel and tapped it on Aneria's feet.
"Ah" (Aneria)
Aiden quickly stopped and looked up at Aneria.
"Did I hurt you?" (Aiden, asked)
'Shake' (Aneria)
Aneria shook her head and shut her eyes with a red face of embarrassment for the sound she let out.
'Out of all the noises she decided to make was this one..she so clueless to a man's instincts' (Aiden's inner thoughts)
Aiden's manhood raised bigger, he quickly adjusted himself before Aneria could notice.
Aiden then continued to tap the warm medicinal water with the towel on Aneria's two feet.
Then he set the towels down and took out a circular medicine cream from his black sleeping pants pocket.
He placed it carefully with his fingers as he touched Aneria's feet.

He was applying the last amount of cream as he observed her ankles and her toes and repeated the same step on her other feet.

Then he closed the lid and reached for Aneria's slippers and place them back again.
He then turn his attention to the towels and set them on the table between the couches and remained silent watching the bowl.
Aneria looked at him.
'I know that this is an act to drop my guard down but...' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
'Badump, Badump, Badump' (Aneria)
'Plop'
The pillow drops on the floor.
Aiden turned his attention to the pillow Aneria had set next to him.
"Hand me that extra towel." (Aneria, said)
The obedient Aiden handed Aneria the extra towel.
Aneria grabbed it and looked at Aiden again.
"Sit down." (Aneria, said)
"..." (Aiden)
Aiden followed her command as he carefully sat down on top of the pillow still holding on to the towel that was covering his manhood.
Aneria looked at his actions confused again.
"Why are you taking the towel with you?" (Aneria, asked)

Aneria gently started drying Aiden's hair.

Aiden's face grew red, he was enjoying it and holding back his nasty thoughts as her delicate fingers caress his hair.
Aneria flinched but continued drying his hair.

Aiden had yet not opened his eyes. He only gulps down.
His Adam Apple moved as he swallowed.
Then he answered.
"Am I not allowed to treat my wife gently ?" (Aiden, asked)

'No, I don't want to fall in love with you to only be betrayed.' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
Although she felt it that it was too late to say.
Aneria tried had to be strong, it wasn't just about the throne for her. She had to take care of many people and she was not going to risk them.
Thoes words constant repeated on her mind and she just did not learn.

"Don't do that anymore." (Aneria, said)
She tried to sound cold but Aiden knew she was conflicted.
At that moment Aiden's eyes opened and turned to look at Aneria.

"As I said, don't treat me gently or I'll misunderstand. Besides we're business partners, I'm only your wife by name so as long as we keep common respect it's fine." (Aneria, said)
Aiden frowned at her words trying to push him again.
"Then why did you do that to me? You didn't have to dry my hair then why?" (Aiden, asked)
Because Aiden was no longer leaning on her it left her a space to get up and walk away.
She walked towards the left side of the bed.
Then halted and turned around.
"Because I don't like owing you any favors." (Aneria, said)
Aneria said coldly and laid down on the left side of the bed and closed her eyes.
Aiden couldn't get up even if he wanted to he had to let it cool.
A few minutes of silence passed when Aiden finally got up and walked to the right side of the bed as he stared at the pillows and asked.
"What favor do you get by not putting the pillow border today then?" (Aiden, asked)
Aiden snickered.
"Then do you want me to put it?" (Aneria, asked)
Aneria turned the side of her face to the right as she asked annoyed at the standing Aiden.
'Snap' Aiden
It was at this moment he realized if he kept pushing it she was going to put the pillow border and could never get the chance of using bad sleep habits as an excuse to hug her again.
"No, your right let's call it a night." (Aiden, said)
Aiden quickly layed in bed.
'Creak'

He did not turn his face he only spoke looking at the ceiling.
"You know princess, I'm usually good at reading people but I can't seem to understand you." (Aiden, said)
He said with a conflicted expression.
Aneria barked back leaving no possible hope for him to enter her heart.
"Then that's good, where frienemies there's no reason for you to understand me." (Aneria said)
She said it with a strict confident bossy tone.
'I have to be cold, I have to push you away...' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
"Tsk" (Aiden)
Aiden clicked his tongue dissatisfied at her sassy response.
Even though he hated that pillow border it wasn't enough to keep his annoyed mood.
"Then why not put the pillow border now since my frienemy is so bothered by my everything." (Aiden, said)
Aiden said annoyed and rudely.
"Ha, then you put it. I'm too tired." (Aneria, said)
She said with an annoyed tone.
'Too tired? Even if you are too tired you would put it in a heartbeat so why not now?!' (Aiden's inner thoughts)
It annoyed him even more.
"Stop making excuses princess and just put the dam pillows or do you secretly don't want to?" (Aiden, asked)
He said rudely and arrogantly without raising his voice at her.
He knew his attitude was not the best choice for the situation but it was hard to change that personality of his.
"Hmph" (Aneria)
Aneria sat up and grabbed one of the pillows.
'Crap she's really doing it?!' (Aiden's inner thoughts)
He had messed up his chances so the best choice now was...
"Hey what are you doing? Let go!" (Aneria, asked)
She raised her voice in annoyance and irritation because he had touged the corner of the pillow Aneria was about to place.
"I'm going to use this pillow." (Aiden, said)
He spoke arroganlty again.
Since Aneria couldn't seem to win strength-wise with Aiden she let go of that pillow.
"Fine keep that one I'll just grab another one." (Aneria, said)
It had seemed she had given up that pillow so she moved on to the other one.
Unfortunately, to her luck the same process repeated after the fourth pillow.
"Hey little prince! What's your deal? You ask for me to put the border and your the one who's taking away the pillows." (Aneria, said)
Aneria's voice was already raising louder as she was holding in her anger.
"Because I'm going to use them." (Aiden, said)
Aiden spoke rudely as he remained staring at the ceiling with some of the pillows huddled up to his right side.
"Ha, fine then you deal with them and stop bothering me. Go hug all those pillows. So I care." (Aneria, said)
Aneria raised her voice annoyed and laid back down facing away from Aiden.
But the clueless Aiden who was bad at reading her mood continued to speak.
'I think she's mad...' (Aiden's inner thoughts)
"Are you mad? There is still one left" (Aiden, asked)
Aiden's voice sounded from behind her.
Aiden meant it sincerely but Aneria could only interpret it as him making fun of her.
'I swear what the hell did I see in him? I knew it was too good to be true!' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
"Don't talk to me and don't cross this invisible border." (Aneria, said)
Aneria said annoyed as she sat down and drew an invisible line between them.
Glared at him and laid back down giving Aiden her back.
But to the once again clueless Aiden.
'I heard from William that jokes help' (Aiden's inner thoughts)
"I guess your feisty temper still remains." (Aiden, said)
Aiden chuckled.
To him, it was a joke but to her...
'Is this funny to you bastard?' (Aneria's inner thoughts)
"Stop acting like your not a rude brat, I already warned you. Do not cross that border or we'll have a problem." (Aneria, said)
Aneria told Aiden arrogantly and annoyed.
She did not turn around but anyone could tell she was fuming from anger.
"You know princess I can't see your face right now but I can imagine all those wrinkles that are forming around your forehead." (Aiden, said)
'Teasing perhaps? That's what he also said...' (Aiden's inner thoughts)
Aiden started teasing Aneria.
"..." (Aneria, said)
He continued as he thought she had calmed down.
"You know I heard potatoes are good for the skin and av-" (Aiden, said)
"Can you be quiet or did the prince forget what common courtesy is?" (Aneria, asked)
She asked rudely.
"Ha, you" (Aiden, said)
'Is she annoyed now? What did I do wrong this time? Wasn't this how your suppose to cheer an angry person?' (Aiden's inner thoughts)
"Fine we wouldn't want the princess getting more wrinkles on that pretty face of yours" (Aiden, said)
He had finally taken the clue that it was best to shut up and go to sleep.
But that night the two had no idea how they woke up entangled with each other.
