The last message she sent made my heart drop. I was definitely in trouble. Every time she says that, she would yell at me. I put my phone in my pocket and look up at Y/n and Childe.
"I actually have to go..." I say. "Y/n, are you able to throw out my cup for me?" I ask, as I hold out my cup.
"Yeah sure, it's no problem." Y/n says as she takes the cup from my hands.
"Alright, thanks. I'll see you later I guess." I deadpan. I turn around and leave.

I walk home because I didn't have my car with me at the moment. It was a long 20 minute walk. On the way home I get more notification from Ei. I don't respond to any of them, but I know she'll be even more pissed at the fact that I'm ignoring her.
I walk onto my street and I see my house in the distance. I sprint across the road and walk up to the front door. I take put my keys from my pocket and unlock the door. As I open the door and shut it I find Ei sitting on the couch, waiting for my arrival.
"And where have you been?" Ei asks with her arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed.
"Out." I reply. Ei stood up and walked towards me.
"Why didn't you tell me first?!" Ei yelled.
"I did fucking tell you, it's just the fact that you're deaf says a lot!" I retort. Ei slaps me across my face.
"You need to stop swearing under my household. Otherwise you will be kicked out." Ei sternly says. I put my hand up to my left cheek. My cheek began to sting.
"Kick me out for what? Swearing?" I smirk.
"You're an adult now, Scaramouche. You're 18 years old. You should be able to get yourself a job and move out!" Ei says.
"Yeah, but I'm still going to school, am I not?" I ask.
"Yes, but-"
"Wouldn't work just distract me from my studies? Pff, who am I kidding, it's not like I'll do it anyway." I laugh.
"I'm glad that you can admit that." Ei sighs.
"You're welcome." I smirk.
"Why don't you just behave?!" Ei yells.
"Why don't you stop hitting me, and calling me names, over and over!" I yell back.
"I do it because you misbehave and it pisses me off!" Ei shouts.
"Okay and?" I ask. Ei rolls her eyes.
"I'm harsh on you because I want you to have a good education!" Ei sighs.
"I never asked for you to do that for me!" I yell.
"And I never asked to have you, but here we are, I guess!" Ei screams. My eyes widen. She turns around and walks towards the couch again. She sits down, and crosses her legs. "Just stop being an ungrateful little brat and behave. I give you a roof over your head, food to eat, and I buy you anything you want, and you still aren't happy."
"You were never like this when Miko entered the picture..." I mumbled.
"What?" Ei asks.
"She probably told you some bullshit lies which made you change!" I yell.
"Don't bring Miko into this!" Ei screams.
"What?! It's probably true anyway. You just don't want to admit that I'm right!" I scoff. Ei stands up and walks towards me. She attempts to slap me but I avoided it.
"Why are you such an annoying brat?!" Ei asks. "I never asked for you to turn out like this!" Ei sniffs. She turns around.
"I never asked for myself to be like this anyway, but here we are, I guess." I mock her. "You've put me through hell! You've abandoned me once, but I only came crawling back because I was unable to survive on my own back then."
"What are you trying to say? That you can survive on your own now?" Ei asks.
"I don't fucking know?! Maybe!" I yell. "I'm going to my room." I declare. I begin walking away and walk to my room.
"I don't want to see you for the rest of the night! You aren't getting dinner either for your attitude that you have displayed today!" Ei yells.
"Fine! I didn't want your shitty cooking anyway." I yell back. I slam my door. I take off my shoes and chuck them near my desk. I grab my earbuds from my bedside table and threw myself onto my bed. I plugged my earbuds into my phone and opened Spotify and played my playlist.
