Third person pov-
All of them were walking around the village with some admiring the scenes, some arguing 'cough' inoandkarinoversasuke 'cough', some just walking quietly. Kira was having a 'nice chat' with Itachi about what flavor of dangos is the best, while Sakura and Hinata were engaged in a girl talk with Anko and Kurenai with Sai and Lee were goofing around beside them.
When Sasuke asked Itachi "how are you alive?" to this Kira and Itachi stopped their argu- I mean talk and turned to Sasuke "well you see little brother... 'le pause'... did you really think you can kill me? I mean come on, I killed a whole powerful clan and got away with it and you thought you can easily kill me" said Itachi with arrogance, Sasuke got angry to this and raised his voice "then why did you kill them!!!??"and was about to pounce on Itachi but someone held him back. Sasuke turned to them and was about to yell at them but when he saw it was Naruto, he calmed a bit "calm down Sasuke" whispered Naruto, Sasuke just nodded his head and turned back just to get an all too familiar poke on his fore head. He got startled by the unexpected action and held his forehead as Itachi spoke calmly "when the time is right I myself will explain about it to you" to this Sasuke just nodded his head,
then he remembered something and asked "why did Hinata act so affectionate toward you?" "Well first of all don't call her by her name" Itachi said sternly, all calm act gone away now. "Then, what should I call her then" "well you can call... sister-in- law or big sis or-." "Wait wait wait, now why would I call her that?" "Are you that dumb, of course because she is my girlfriend" many gasps were heard around the group as Sasuke 'asked' "HAH!! WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN!!" "Well, you see...."

Flash Back-
It had passed 4pm, rain had just stopped pouring, the trees were drenched and the roads had puddles.
Itachi walked back home after his work, he turned around the corner to hear a loud splash, he looked in the direction to see someone face palmed on the ground. The sun was setting so he couldn't see who it was clearly, so he ran to the person and helped them up to see that it was Hinata, covered with bruises and mud on her face and cloths. Concerned Itachi asked "are you alright Hyuga-San", realizing who had helped her up Hinata blushed a little from embarrassment and replied "y-yeah, just slipped on the puddle" Itachi held her shoulder looking directly at her eyes and asked again "are you hurt anywhere Hyuga-San?" to this Hinata face turned even redder as she spoke "we-well, just some little bruise, I will be fine and please call me Hinata". Itachi sighed in relief but still said "it not fine. Come, let go get you cleaned up... Hinata" he turned to the direct of his house and held out his hand. Hinata just stayed quiet, held his arm and followed behind him.
At Itachi's house-
Itachi unlocked his front door and let Hinata in. "you can go and clean up in the guest room, it's the third door to the left. I will leave some cloths for you by the bed." With that Itachi walked away to fetch cloths as Hinata went to clean up. After a good hot steamy shower Hinata came out of the bath room wrapped in towel. She saw the cloths on the end of the bed. It was a pair of sweat pants and a grey hoodie. She wore them and dried her hair. Then walked out of the room carrying her dirty cloths.
Meanwhile Itachi was making dinner for both of them using the Uchiha style cooking. He was so occupied in it, he didn't even notice Hinata, until she asked where she should put her dirty cloths, Itachi turned to her and blushed a little from being embarrassed for not noticing her and for how cute she looked in his cloths
He said "oh, please give it to me, and take a seat dinner is almost finished" Hinata did as told and waited for his return. Itachi came back after a few minutes. This is the time where she noticed what he was wearing. He wore a pink apron with the wordings 'Uchiha's Kitchen' written on them.
She couldn't help but giggle a bit at it. Itachi asked her why she had giggled to which she replied with "the apron looks cute on you". Itachi was amused and blushed a bit, realizing what she had said she turned red and stammered "n-no i-I mean yo-you look -goo-good n-no -I me-mea-." Itachi cut her off by saying "we-well thank you, you look cute in my cloths too" to this Hinata blushed more.
After a good 5 minutes both calmed down and sat to eat their dinner "hmm, this is so good Itachi-Kun, how did you cook it?" asked Hinata still stuffing her mouth. Itachi just chuckled and replied "it's the Uchiha's secret cooking technique" "oh! Ok" she nodded and continued eating. After eating she helped him clean the table and wash the plates and was about to leave when Itachi said "well its dark outside, why don't you stay the night here" Hinata thought for a while and replied ok.
Both retires to their respected room for the night "well one thinks for sure, he is a husband material" mumbled Hinata as she fell asleep.
From that day on Hinata and Itachi would hang out together a lot. Hinata would stay at Itachi's house for dinner, both would train together. This didn't go unnoticed by Sakura, Sai and Lee, so they planed to set the up on a date. Sakura asked Kira for help and she said yes.
On that day-
Sakura took Hinata for shopping and made her wear a beautiful dress. (imagine)
While Kira tricked Itachi into a bet he couldn't win and made him wear a suit. (imagine)
Lee and Sai got the decorations done as Kira and Sakura led the future couple to their date.
Looking Infront of them, they notice the breath-taking scenery Infront of them, a picnic with a beautiful sunset on a cliff, they were so composed to the beauty of the nature that they failed to notice each other. When they did notice each other, they blushed and looked away. They sat quietly on the picnic blanket, none uttering a word. Hinata was the first to speak "it's beautiful isn't it" "yes it is" Itachi replied but not looking at the scenery anymore before turning back to the scenery. Then it went quiet again.
When Itachi slowly held Hinata's hand, Hinata turned to him in surprise but Itachi kept looking Infront of him "you know Hinata, I forget about all my worries when I am with you, from the first time I met you, I feel this blooming feeling in my stomach. Every time I spend with you I feel myself at peace." Said Itachi turning to her. Hinata got flustered hearing that and look to the ground and replied "I feel myself. I feel confident and care free when I am around you." It became quiet for a few seconds before Itachi lifted Hinata's chin with his free hand to meet her eyes and said in a loving voice "I am happy to know you feel that way, and I want you to feel the same way for the rest of your life. I want to feel at peace with you by my side for the rest of my life and want us to be together for the rest of our life. So would you fulfil it by being by my side...Hinata?" "ye-yes" Hinata smiled with blushing cheek. Itachi leaned closer to her as she closed her eye. She felt a pair of soft lips on hers, she froze for a second before kissed him back. They pulled away and looked at each other and said at the same time " I LOVE YOU".
Cheers and squeals were heard behind them. They turn to see not only Kira, Sakura and the other too but the Akatsuki along with the Hanakage and his husband also stood there. They both blushed again as Kisame spoke "Finally, I thought it would take you years to tell her" "aw, that was so cute, I got it all on tape" said Kira holding a video camera. Itachi blushed more and said "GIVE IT HERE KIRA!!" "Nope not a chance, Itachi Uchiha blushing? no way am I giving it back. Brother we should put it on the Bingo book" teased Kira. Itachi chased Kira around as Sakura hugged Hinata, while Lee was saying how proud he was of Hinata to get a boyfriend with Sai giving thumbs up.
"aw, doesn't it remind you of our first date?" asked Mele as he leaned into Shiro "it sure does honey" Shiro replied hugging him from behind.

"..... and that how we got together" finished Itachi with a proud smile. Sasuke was stunned to say the least, he then turned to Hinata who was also listening along with the others and said "you couldn't find any one better" Hinata got sad at this as Itachi hugged her and replied to his brother glaring "stop it Sasuke, I love her" Sasuke looked at him and said "stfu, I was talking to her" Itachi went dumb for second as Kira burst out laughing followed by Lee then Sakura and the other "he said you are not worthy for her HAHAHA" said Kira still laughing. Itachi just pouted and said "that was mean brother" "no it was the truth BrOtHeR" replied Sasuke smirking, to this Itachi sulked more "there there, don't mind them, you are always good enough for me" said Hinata patting his head "really?" asked Itachi like a child " yes, now smile" replied Hinata as Itachi did as he was told.
See this Sasuke was not just surprised but also felt happy for his brother. Naruto came next to him and held his hand. They both looked at each other and smiled and turned back to the couple in front of them. Unknown to them a certain pink hair and her lover saw the interaction and silently planned for another date.
