"How long before he turns into that thing?" Ajax asked, a few of the others were gathered around the boy, he was wound tightly in shackles similar to Bea's.

"It doesn't happen naturally, we need to force it out of him." Wednesday said, she had a sort of chilling smile on her face, it was truly sinister and yet somehow there was good intention behind it. She was going to find her Hyde and bring justice to all those who had suffered from Tyler's doing.

"Who is your master Tyler." Wednesday began, the others seemed confused by this, though Xavier was the most dumbfounded of them all. It explained Bea's reluctancy to talk about Tyler's visit at the jail cell, he just wondered why she'd withdrawn information from him.

"What the hell are you talking about." Tyler said in confusion, Xavier scoffed and moved to the front with Wednesday.

"You realize Bea is literally rotting in jail because of you, I mean she's your girlfriend." Xavier stammered, he paced the room nervously back and forth.

"Yeah well she kind of wants nothing to do with me." Tyler cursed under his breath.

"So you plead to guilt." Wednesday smirked, Tyler rolled his eyes and sunk his head, he looked to the other wide eyed outcasts in the room, hoping to gain some pity from them.

"Wednesday you're insane." Tyler said, he wasn't going to admit anything even if his life was on the line, that was because Thornhill had ordered him not to, there was nothing he could do about that.

"Fine, if you're not going to peep, then I guess we have to do things the hard way." Wednesday scoffed, she placed her backpack down on one of the nearby tables in Xavier's den, she then removed a few of its contents, including a knife and tazer.

"Woah, I didn't sign up for this." Bianca said as she spotted the torture devices, the others muttered words of agreement. "Yeah you're not gonna hurt him, right?" Another added. "Tell me it's just for show."

"Of course it's not, torture brings out a Hyde." Wednesday said cooly, by now some of the other students had begun to leave, even Xavier was contemplating it.

"Wednesday you can't, Bea would kill you." Xavier said sternly.

"I'm not sure if she even cares for this boy anymore, she knows what he is." Wednesday stated.

"She cared enough to act like nothing happened, you were the one who had to tell me he was the Hyde. She was keeping his identity from me." Xavier said, Tyler looked up at the boy, his words had caught his attention, and it meant good news for him.

"Then she is a fool, Tyler can't be salvaged, he's a murderer. Bea also left out the fact that Tyler had threatened her and claimed to have enjoyed the murders committed." Wednesday began, she then turned to the boy "Jog my memory Tyler, it was a fear so primal you could taste it, am I correct?"

The boy remained silent, he sensed the weakness in Xavier and focused his attention on him.

"You can't leave me with her." Tyler pleaded, there was true fear in his voice. He knew that Wednesday was mad enough to follow through with her actions, that's why he was so terrified. Who cares if people found out about him, what he was scared of was being tortured into releasing his Hyde again, it was the longest and most painful way to release a Hyde, and he didn't want to even think of the grueling process.

"Wednesday you're crazy, I'm out of here." Xavier said, he left the room and headed back for Nevermore, maybe Weems or some other authority could help save Tyler, even if he was the monster.

Before Wednesday could even lay a finger on the boy the door to Xavier'a den swung wide open and in came the Sheriff and his men. Tyler wore a wide grin on his face as his father brought him to safety. Wednesday had never seen such anger in the man's face as when he looked at her, she was about to torture his son after all, it was only a fathers instinct.

...

Wednesday Adams was expelled from Nevermore shortly after the events of the previous night. It was a fair punishment and would allow for no pressing or charges. Nevermore would be safe if Wednesday were to leave, and the reoccurring thought quickly came to the girls mind.

No harm would come to Nevermore if she were not present at the school, because she was so clearly a part of its destruction, perhaps the expulsion was exactly what she needed.

So Wednesday said her goodbyes and packed her things, she had bittersweet moments with a few of her friends and acquaintances including Enid Sinclair and Bianca Barclay.

It was hard to see Wednesday leave, she'd changed Nevermore, even if it was for the worse. Her impact on the place and its students was something that could never be forgotten. Her rein was not over yet, she still had some unfinished business to attend to.

First of which was visiting Eugene, who would solidify Bea's accusation of Thornhill being the ringleader in this treacherous game.

Next was visiting Bea, without anyone knowing of course.

Sheriff Galpin was luckily out and about dealing with something else during the time of which Wednesday snuck into the station to free Bea. Wednesday was now certain of what she needed to do, which was confront Ms. Thornhill, revealing her as Laurel Gates.

Wednesday, with the help of thing, was able to make her way through the crowded police station, the hand had caused a major distraction of knocking over a few coffee pots and ruining the police men's precious donuts. This bought the girl time to sneak into the room in which Bea was confined in.

"Wednesday?" Bea asked, the lights had been turned off on accident, leaving the girl in utter darkness.

"It is I." The girl protested, she stood before the cell and began to pick the locks. "These are surprisingly poor quality, it's either an amateurs work, or intentional." Wednesday sneered, she believed it to be the second option, because she was well aware that Sheriff Galpin knew what his son was, though she also knew the man to be a man of justice, to some extent.

Wednesday had managed to open the cell door in a matter of seconds, but the shackles were a little more difficult, these only took a few minutes.

"So what's the plan?" Bea asked, she was highly wanted, making escape rather difficult. Wednesday handed the girl a wig and hair wrap, as well as some dark clothes. "Seriously?" Bea teased, the clothes looked like some sort of disguise from out of a movie, not in a good way.

"It's the best thing could do, blame him and his poor klepto skills." Wednesday sighed, she walked first and scanned the doorway for any oncoming officers. The coast was clear, and it was a straight shot from the cell to the back exit of the station. Thing was already waiting for Wednesday there, and therefore joined the others as they headed out the door.

"Yes, I know, we're just getting Bea to safety before we confront Thornhill." Wednesday said to the talking.

"I don't exactly have anywhere to go." Bea stated, Wednesday just sighed in disapproval at the girl.

"We're heading to the hive." Wednesday began. "Eugene woke up by the way, he warned me that the culprit who set fire to Tyler's den was Ms. Thornhill. The give was her red boots." Wednesday continued, Bea was just glad that Eugene was able to clear things up, and that hopefully the woman would be behind bars later today for the crimes she'd committed.

"I'll have to pay him a visit once this is all over." Bea said with a smile, she followed Wednesday into the woods right behind Jericho. She'd walked the paths so many times that she felt she could do it with her eyes shut. Though they looked different, there was something about the way the leaves fell to the ground, and the air, it had a certain thickness to it that made everything appear more eerie and ominous. Bea greatly disliked the feeling she felt, it was like she could tell something very bad was going to happen.

The pair was almost at Nevermore now, it was a little later in the day now, maybe around three or four. The sun would set in another hour or so, there wasn't much time left.

So, Wednesday left Bea alone in the hive, she claimed that she had some important business to attend to. Bea had been slightly informed on Wednesday's plan to confront Thornhill with the help of Weems, it was a strange plan, but the girl was hoping that it would work. The sooner Thornhill was finished the sooner Tyler could be freed, and hopefully everyone else at Nevermore and in Jericho.

...

Bea was frightened when she heard the sound of leaves crunching nearby the hive. All the girl could do was remain silent and hope for the noise to go away. Bea prayed that it was just an animal and not another student, but luck was not on her side because the noise began to grow louder.

It fact it almost sounded like someone was right in front of the entrance. And then it happened, the door swung wide open, revealing the familiar figure of Enid Sinclair.

"Holy shit." Enid said, she placed a hand over her gaping mouth and peered down at her friend. Bea stood up slowly and shushed the girl, then proceeded to slam the door shut to the hive. "Bea are you okay?" Enid asked, she felt like touching the girl to make sure she wasn't dreaming.

"Yeah, Wednesday busted me out." Bea shrugged, she hadn't seen the girl since before everything crazy started happening, she wasn't sure what Enid thought of her, or what the other students knew.

"I'm so sorry about everything, ahh you've just been through so much recently." Enid said, she reached arms out showing that she was willing to embrace the girl. Bea did so without even an ounce of hesitation. Then feeling was so calming for Bea, she'd needed something like this, especially since her arms had been hanging at her head for a few days.

"What does everyone know about me?" Bea asked confusedly, Enid's smile faded slightly and she placed her arms down.

"Well no one thinks you're the monster so that's good, but we heard that you were framed by someone at the school, and there's another rumor going around that you've got some kind of big secret." Enid continued, the last bit was luckily a small rumor that was only really going around with the people who personally knew Bea such as Xavier's friends and some of Enid's friends.

"Those are all true." Bea said, Enid raised an eyebrow in confusion and folded her arms. "But that's a story for another day." Bea said abruptly, Enid nodded and smiled.

"I'm just glad you're out of that stinking old jail cell. Look I have to go now, but I promise I'll be back soonish." Enid said, she'd glanced at her phone for the time once or twice now. It was best that she leave to avoid suspicion.

Bea said her goodbyes and watched as Enid exited the hive, the girl was left all alone in the cramped and enclosed space feeling a sense of emptiness but also joy.

She was no longer imprisoned and no longer having to deal with Sheriff Galpin's snarky remarks. Though she was now in fear of being found out and currently in hiding. Bea wasn't doing her absolute best at the moment, but at least she had some things going for her.

Unfortunately this was just the beginning of the uncertainty, tonight was the blood moon, who knows what kind of misfortune and despair would arise.
