Jungeun and Jinsoul sat across eachother and ate quietly, Jinsoul decidided to order some malatang, kimchi stew and jjajangmyeon. The younger girl couldn't look at Jinsoul as her eyes were glued either on her food or the table itself. Jinsoul on the hand kept glancing over at the girl and wondered if she should talk about what happened the other day, she wasn't home yesterday as her father needed her for some business stuff so she was at her house the whole night.
"I know you have a lot of questions..." She said earning Jungeun's attention, "H-Huh..?"
Jinsoul looked at her waiting for her to realize what the older girl was trying to say, "Oh..Um...Honestly..." Jungeun doesn't know what to ask, she has too much questions that she doesn't even know which one to ask.
"We'll start with basic." Jinsoul placed down her spoon and fork and lean back on her chair, "I'm Jung Jinsoul the daughter of Jung Joonmin and the heir of Jung Enterprise. I'm Kim Hyunjin's sister well...half sister everything else are the things that you already know." Jungeun looked at her still confuse, "Why didn't you just go by that?" She finally asked making Jinsoul sigh,
"I was kept away from the public ever since I was born, even when my mother found out she's pregnant with me it was also kept as a secret. At that time my family received a bunch of death threats and they even kidnapped my second oldest, Soojung unnie or known as Kr-"
"Krystal Jung." Jungeun cut her off and smiled, of course she knows the two Jung Sisters. Both were her role models, Jessica Jung the CEO of Blanc & Eclare, a fashion company that she has a full collection of and also the owner of JJS Entertainment together with her sister Krystal Jung who is an actress and also a singer together with her oldest sister. She wanted to be a singer because of them, she wanted to follow their footsteps to be a successful singer and a fashion designer. Jinsoul looks at Jungeun who seems to be in her own little world making her wonder why she suddenly looked like that. "Something wrong?" She cut Jungeun's thoughts,
"Oh...Uhm..No, it's just that both of the Jung sisters are my role models and my icon...I...ever since I was young I wanted to be like them, a singer and a fashion designer and I also want to own my own fashion company...I practiced singing so hard since I was young hoping to be like them, standing on stage and singing in front of everyone. Singing is my passion and also dancing...but.." Her face fell realizing that it was just all hope and dreams, she knows there was nothing more than that. Her father had other plans for her.
Jinsoul frown knowing that there was something else that is stopping the younger girl from chasing her dreams.
"It's never too late, it's your life. You do whatever you want with it."
"What about you? Do you want to do something else other than handling your own company?" Jinsoul thought about it for a moment but honestly she was contented following whatever her father wants her to do. She loves it.
"No. I do everything else as a hobby or if I don't have anything to do. I really do want to handle our family company, I find it really fun and interesting." She replied and smiled,
"So you're real identity is out now, what are your plans?" Jungeun expected some different answer but to her disappointment Jinsoul answer was different to what she was expecting,
"Nothing. Just like the old times." The older girl noticed Jungeun's face,
"Don't worry it'll be different this time. No one will be able to touch me."
Suddenly an idea popped up in her head, she smiled knowing it will cheer the girl up, "Are you free tomorrow after school?"
The younger girl look up and shakes her head, "I have cheer practice tomorrow till 6, why?"
"I just need someone to accompany me somewhere."
"Alright everyone that's it for today, tomorrow we will go through this without stopping hopefully you all remember the routine. Competition is next month we need to keep our title. Now huddle up!" Jungeun said as everyone gathered around and did their cheer before they finally left slowly,
Jiwoo and Yerim approached Heejin who was drinking water, "So where's your girlfriend?" Jiwoo teased as Heejin rolled her eyes, "I have no girlfriend." Heejin replied earning a weird sound from Yerim, "Alright Ms. Jeon." She gave the girl a teasing punch on the shoulder before laughing,
"Everyone has been saying that yesterday was just for a show." Chaewon arrived with her bag together with Jungeun who was still wiping her sweat, "Because it wasn't real." Heejin again replied denying the fact that she was still thinking about what happened yesterday she barely had any sleep last night knowing the fact that she can feel Hyunjin's staring at her the whole dinner and night. "So what happened in the dorm?" Jungeun asked curiously as everyone gathered around Heejin who suddenly felt nervous with all their stares and wide creepy smiles ,
"Nothing happened, now move I need to go home-"
"To see Hyunjin? Awe you miss her too much?" Jiwoo teased making Heejin groan, "No! I need to do my homework and study for my test tomorrow. Now stop teasing me all of you because there's nothing going on between me and her." She said shooed them away before going to the benches where her stuff are, the others followed her and started talking about some other things,
"Heejin?" They turned towards the boy who was holding a bouquet of flowers, his two other friends were behind him,
Kang Daniel the school's sweetheart and one of the best dancer in the school. Everyone knows how much he really likes Heejin and everyone has been shipping them ever since Heejin and him were crowned as the Prom's King and Queen. He approached her with a big smile before extending the bouquet towards her, "You really did well today." Heejin accepted the flowers and smiled shyly, "Thank you.." Some students close to them started taking videos and pictures of them, the others looked at each other knowing what he'll be doing next.
"Prom is in two weeks so umm..." Two of his friends suddenly stood beside him, each holding a banner saying "Will you be my-"
"JEON HEEJIN!!"
Everyone got startled hearing a loud voice only to find Hyunjin up on the bleachers with Hyeju who looked like she didn't want to be there, Yeojin who was grinning excitedly, Jinsoul who was just smiling and Sooyoung who's smiling awkwardly and all four of them we're holding out a banner with "Will you be my prom date?" written on it. The students was surprised by this and also the other girls, Heejin was more shock than everyone else. She didn't expect any of these. Daniel looked at his friends with a pissed and confuse look.
Hyunjin suddenly ducked down completely disappearing from the view, "What the?" Haseul squinted her eyes trying to find Hyunjin, suddenly the girl then appeared holding-
"OH MY GOD!" Heejin suddenly screamed as her body suddenly wanting to run towards the two living that she misses the most, "What??" Jungeun was confuse,
"HEEKKIE! AEONGIE!" She didn't stop herself as she started running towards where Hyunjin was as fast as she could, she was so excited and happy, the others started whispering as always after seeing Heejin being all happy and ecstatic over two cats. Hyunjin grin when Heejin finally arrived to where they are before handing her over the two cats who were purring happily seeing the girl, Heejin squealed in joy as she hugged the two cats in her arms.
"Oh my God! I miss you both!" She kissed both of the cats on the head and hugged them again. She looked at Hyunjin in confusion, "I thought you're going to give them up for adoption?" Hyunjin shakes her head and smiled, "I decided to keep them since you already named both of them and also." She pulled out two name tags with both of the cats names carved on it both were colored in pink and yellow. She then gently placed it on the cat's neck and smiled proudly, "I also got them birth certificates and also they're allowed to stay in our dorm." She stated and waved the two birth certificates in front of the girl with a wide grin. Heejin couldn't contain her happiness as she again squealed in excitement. This is the best that has ever happened to her so far.
"Now no one can top that." Jiwoo said and proudly clapped followed by Yerim who agreed with her. Daniel felt angry about Hyunjin ruining his plans and his prom proposal and suddenly he felt like he needed to do something about it, but then again Heejin hasn't said anything. He then jogged up towards them with so much confidence and this earned everyone's anticipations,
He then tapped Heejin's shoulder before smiling, he pulled out a bracelet and extended it towards the girl who looked at it but the excitement as before wasn't the same, "Will you be my prom date?" Hyunjin raised a brow and gripped on the paper she was holding tightly, Sooyoung lowered the banner and whistled, "Drama~" Jinsoul followed before turning away to look somewhere else,
The students were split in between who they want Heejin to go with, Hyunjin and Heejin were a unexpected match and exciting to see knowing that the school is very open with LBGTQ the King can be a girl too and it goes the other way around with the Queen. But if it's Daniel and Heejin it would be the continuation of the story from last year and they're the biggest candidate for it and it would create a massive new headlines in the school if they ever became a couple. Would be a happy ever after.
"It would be something new if Heejin would say yes to Hyunjin."
"But wouldn't be better if she say yes to Daniel? They'll be unstoppable."
"Why are you doubting 2Jin?"
"2Jin?"
"Hyunjin and Heejin!"
Heejin looked at the two cats who are in her arms then to Daniel, honestly she felt very torn but at the same time she wasn't. Is it necessary to have a date on prom? She did went last year with Daniel but it was just because she felt bad refusing his proposal when he literally ask her in front of the whole school outside the school building and she felt very pressured and she had no choice. Don't get her wrong, Daniel is a very kind boy and he's a gentlemen and sweet but she just doesn't see it. However Hyunjin...maybe the cat did move her a lot but we're talking about Kim Hyunjin here, she doesn't even know her. Only a roommate who's obsessed with cats and bread...
However...she felt different weird feelings whenever Hyunjin is around her, she just can't explain it.
"So?" Daniel smiled nervously as Hyunjin was also nervous all of a sudden, she herself doesn't even know why she's doing this, she wasn't even planning on going to the prom but the truth is, she overheard Daniel discussing his prom proposal plans to Heejin before the school ended and she suddenly felt anxious and...jealous?
She had to skip her last class just to take back Heekkie and Aeongie from the animal shelter and get them under her name in just 2 hours as much as Hyeju's refusals she begged the girl for help.
Please say no...
She thought and prayed that he would get rejected.
"I..." Heejin glanced at Hyunjin who was looking at her with hopeful eyes, I mean it wouldn't make sense if she's dating Hyunjin and would reject her proposal and she would have another date. "I'm sorry but Hyunjin's my girlfriend...So I have to turn you down.." She smiled apologetically earning a frown from Daniel, Hyunjin pumped her fist in the air and screamed in victory, "ASSA!" She said happily before carrying Heejin up unconsciously surprising the girl while tightly holding on to the cats trying not to drop them but then giggled afterwards,
Some students were disappointed and some were happy and cheered for the new born couple and the next Prom King and Queen.
Darn you Kim. Daniel thought angrily before leaving the scene angrily. "What the...and she said she doesn't even like her." Chaewon said before rolling her eyes,
"Do you want Hyeju to ask you too?" Jiwoo elbowed the girl playfully while moving her eyebrows up and down teasing the girl, "Stop it." Chaewon said slowly getting annoyed,
Hyunjin finally put down Heejin and took Aeongie away from her and hugged the cat who was meowing in delight, "Aeong!"
But then Hyeju turned to face them in confusion, "Wait..you two are actually dating?"
