Su-hyeok pulled you off your feet lifting you in the air with a tight embrace as he spun you round. Before he could make you even more dizzy a hand clasped around your wrist pulling you out of Su-hyeok's grip. Wu-jin. Wu-jin, pulls you into an even tighter embrace as he jumped up and down all giddy. The helicopter never landed but it remained hovering above the building making a loud sound and an annoyingly large amount of wind bash into you all.
Everyone moved back as the wind got stronger. You got out of Wu-jin's grasp and stood next to Cheong-san who wrapped an arm around your shoulder smiling. Both of you in front of the group as Cheong-san elected himself to be the spokes person. The men in the chopper zip-lined down and immediately pointed there guns at you all.
"Hey, hey." Dae-su greets but immediately stumbles back seeing the guns. Your face remained neutral. More of the men came zip-lining down aiming guns at you all. The chopper started flying around the building and Cheong-san approached one of the men who aimed a gun at his chest. One man couldn't keep his eyes off you but you ignored it as Hyo-ryung clung to your arm like a toddler scared of the dark.
"Get down. All of you." The man demanded as you glared at him coldly
"Sir. Could you please help us." Dae-su mumbles
"Considering that's your job." You snap and the man that won't stop looking at you shakes his head as he points the gun in your direction
"Face down on the ground! Get down!" The man demanded more sternly pointing the gun towards Dae-su. You grumble under your breath and get down on your knees as the rest follow your actions. Everyone lays on there stomach with there hands in the air.
They started taking everyone's temperatures. Your eyes dart down to Nam-ra worried as one grabbed your jaw playfully pushing your head to the side and checking the temperature.
"Clear" A familiar voice spoke as he scuffed your hair and walked towards Nam-ra. The machine beeped and showed a red colour on screen. You balled your fists up as you watched Nam-ra and the man that had an oddly familiar comforting voice.
"Temperatures is 34.5" The man spoke
"Hypothermia. She's suffering from hypothermia." You speak up and the man turns to you and nods
"Providing a warming blanket." The man demanded and another man came over wrapping a warming blanket around Nam-ra making you sigh relieved
"We'll rescue after the mission's complete. Over. You can get up now." The man got up and walked away from the group. You all got up. You getting up swiftly as you glare at the man who won't take his eyes off you.
"Are you the only survivors?" Another man spoke as you dart your eyes towards the voice.
"We don't really know. There are probably others." Cheong-san answers as you stand next to him with your hands in your pockets
"We're going down for a few minutes. Wait right here." The man demanded
"Are you not going to rescue us?" Ji-min protested
"They came here with an objective. They just said that." You snap at Ji-min
"She's correct. So don't go anywhere. Don't do anything. Just wait here. Understand? Let's go." He orders his men as they get onto the ledge applying there lines onto the roof and zip-lining down as you all watched them in curiosity.
You felt a light tap on your shoulder and you turned to see the man that scuffed up your hair. You raised an eyebrow as you stared into the familiar brown eyes. Su-hyeok who was beside you watched the action decided to spectate
"Figured you'd still be alive. Hard to get rid of a L/n" The man chuckled as you turned your full on attention to him. Your eyes lit up and became teary as you stared at him the longer you realised who it was
"Kai!" You shout as you jump into his arms hugging him tightly. Everyone was thrown back at your action. Even your own brother but he didn't waste a second, he hugged you tighter then ever, as if his life depended on it.
"Hey, little sister." He chuckled as the others looked at the scene wide eye'd you sobbed loudly into your older brothers chest not letting go of him.
"How's Sakae?" You question as you slightly pull away still keeping a grip on his arms as he held your shoulders. He looked down and sighed and that's when your heart dropped to your stomach
"I don't know. I...I don't know where she is." He mumbles ashamed and you bite your lip. Sakae was a coward and crying was her only fighting technique...which isn't even a fighting technique so you just hoped that her survival skills are a lot better then that.
"Maybe she's hiding. She's good at that." You mutter as he pulls you into yet another tight hug and kisses the crown of your head.
"You reek of blood." He jokes as you frown and punch his stomach making him bend forward and groan. The others step back as you frown at your brother
"A love you would be nice." You grumble and he chuckles regaining his posture
"I love you little sis." He admits as you smile and hug him tightly
"Haven't seen this side of you since...well since you were 8, before Dad..." He trails off as he hugs you back.
"Hm" You hum not wanting to get on the subject of your own father
"Hear. He wants to speak to you." Kai handed you his ear piece and your face went cold knowing who he was. You put it close to your ear
"Y/n." Your Father said in a cold stern tone
"Father" You greet as the others watch the conversation unfold with your Dad. Fear was shown in Kai's eyes as he held your shoulder.
"Do you have any words for me, my daughter?" He teases making your blood boil
"Yeah I do." You admit
"Oh?" He murmurs
"You're a coward. A fucking coward—" You state coldly and Kai's eyes widen at your outbreak. He snatches the earpiece off you.
"Mission still going to retrieve laptop. Any new information will be informed to you shortly. Over." Kai speaks through the earpiece cutting the conversation short
"I wasn't done." You grumble as Kai glares at you with cold eyes.
"That was incredibly ballsy of you." Kai admits as you shrug. You turn to the group as well as Kai and everyone looks at the two of you. You both seemed so alike apart from height and eye colour. (unless you have brown eyes ignore that part) Both of you had a hard cold glare that put fear into the group's eyes. They feared you enough but now having another gender-bend older version of you with a gun could arguably be even more frightening. Though Kai seemed to be more approachable then you even if he was the one with the gun. You still gave off deadly vibes.
"You have to get out. Speed it up." The leader of the group on there behalf demanded as you stood next to Kai, both with incredibly straight professional postures. The men started climbing up again and the helicopter appeared once more hovering over the building
"Master Sergeant. You go up first." Kai ordered the master
"Yes, sir." He complied attaching himself to the rope
"We'll pull you up one at a time. Stay still even if you'r scared. Okay?" Another man ordered as Kai left your side to stand next to him. Su-hyeok took that as a sign to wrap his arms tightly around you holding you close as if you were cold and he needed to keep you warm. Kai looked your way as he's an incredibly over-protective brother but he had to stay professional.
"You're not landing the chopper?" Ji-min shouted over the helicopter above them
"We can't. It can get unstable. He's gonna pull you up, so don't worry." The man assures as you all nod watching the helicopter.
"We're getting out of here." Su-hyeok whispers to you his lips pressed against your ear sending shivers down your spine
"You can't go all at once, so let's go one by one." The Man informs
"We can't all go?" Cheong-san questions
"We can take all of you, but it has to be one by one." The man corrects as he goes over to the zip line with the harness along with your brother who sends a hard cold glare towards Su-hyeok
"Ji-min. You go first." On-jo urges
"You go first. Go first." Wu-jin adds pushing Ji-min
"You go first!" Dae-su joins smiling. The men including your brother help set Ji-min in a harness ready to pull her up. Once she's all set up the man gives the sergeant a thumbs up and they start pulling her up.
"Say again? Did you mean everyone?" Your brother walked away from the set up talking into his earpiece
"Look." You murmur pointing to your brother. Su-hyeok looks in his direction as you skeptically eye your brother
"But their temperatures are fine. They're just children! One of them is your own child and my sister! I can only save her? What abou— understood. Over. Cancel the operation! We'll take just the package and Y/n and pull out." Kai calls out as your eyes widen.
"What do you mean?" You question but he only ignores it immediately ripping you from Su-hyeok's grip by grabbing your wrist. You look up to see Ji-min getting lowered.
"I think i'm going back down." Ji-min mumbles
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey." Joon-yeong protests
"I'm coming down." Ji-min cries as Kai holds you into position you constantly thrashing around trying to free yourself.
"Wait a second."
"She's coming down!"
"She's—She's coming down!"
"Why is she coming down?"
"What's wrong?"
"What's going on?"
"I don't know!"
The group bickers as Hyo-ryung's gear gets removed
"Why did you take that off? Wait a minute. Why?" Hyo-ryung cries
"What operation is this! Please just pull me back up! Pull me back up! God, damn it! I'm not going back! I'm not going! I'm not going! Take me with you i'm not going, sir! Please! I wanna get out of here" Ji-min begs as she finally touched the ground. They throw her into the group.
"What kind of rescue is this!?" You yell infuriated as Kai and another man pulls you near the harness. They try put it around you but with you squirming around and kicking your legs makes it difficult
"Y/n, hold still!" Kai orders as he tries to keep you still
"Save all of them!" You shout back as they managed to get the harness on.
"I'm sorry!" He apologises
"No!" You yell as you kick one of men to the floor but the harness was already on
"Pull her up!" Kai yelled and you felt your feet leave the ground...
