What's up!! I here with the next chapter! As I said last time, Ash and Serena will be catching all their Galar Pokemon in this chapter. I'll just say in this chapter it will span 3 days, mainly to not have them catch all of them in the span of like a couple hours. I hope you'll like the Pokemon I chose for them. Anyway, enjoy!
After Latias joined the family, said family returned to Wedgehurst and did a little exploring. They stopped by a clothing store, grabbed a bite to eat, enjoyed the sights and so on. This gave Serena and Latias time to get to know the other.
It didn't take long for Latias to find out about Ash's and Serena's relationship. It hit her hard, but seeing how happy Ash seemed around Serena, she was content with that.
'At least I kissed him first' Latias said to herself with a sly smile.
After spending the day out in Wedgehurst, they all went to the Pokemon Center to rest for the night. Morning eventually came and Nurse Joy checked the couple's Pokemon one last time. After that, they left and headed towards the Train Station.
"Professor Magnolia told us the fastest way to get to the Wild Area was by train right?" Serena said.
Ash nodded. "Yeah, so we should head there now, I'm dying to see all the Pokemon!"
Serena chuckled. The group made their way towards the station. Once they got on the train, they sat down. They let out Greninja, Delphox and Sylveon again as their cabin was big enough to fit all of them. Soon after the train took off. Serena looked out the window in awe.
"Wow...! What a view! Ash are you seeing this?" She didn't get a response.
She looked and saw Ash laying down on his seat looking purple. He was also moaning.
"Ash?!" Serena said with shock and concern.
"Ugh...oh no..." Ash moaned.
"Looks like we found his vehicle..." Pikachu said.
That's when it occurred to Delphox. She looked over and sure enough, Greninja was in the exact same state as Ash.
"You've...gotta be kidding me..." he moaned.
Serena and Delphox got into their positions and comforted their boyfriends. After about 15 minutes for the others or an eternity for Ash and Greninja, they all exited the train.
After exiting the building, they were immediately met with an amazing sight. An incredibly large area with multiple Pokemon roaming around. Ash grew stars in his eyes while Serena had a look of amazement.
"It's huge...!" Serena said.
"What're we waiting for? Let's go!" Ash said.
He, Pikachu and Greninja ran ahead. Serena, Sylveon and Delphox sweatdrooped and chuckled at their boyfriends' energy. They quickly ran after them.
They roamed around, seeing tons of Pokemon, Rotom having the time of his life taking pictures. They kept walking until Serena heard something behind her. She and her Pokemon turned around and saw a little Pokemon that was mostly white but had a blue colored head and an orange horn sticking out.
"Hello, who might you be?" Serena asked.
"I-I'm Ralts" she said nervously.
"Hello Ralts, I'm Serena" she said with a smile.
Ralts was shocked to find out that Serena could understand her.
"What brings you out here? Do you want something to eat?" Serena asked.
"W-Well actually, I sorta followed you after I saw you a few minutes ago. I don't really know why though to be honest. Sorry" she said with a hint of embarrassment.
Serena giggled. "Don't be sorry Ralts. Say, this may sound random, but do you want to come with me? I'm going to take on the Galar Gym Challenge."
Ralts was surprised to be asked that. She wanted to say yes but was still hesitant. Serena could sense her uneasiness.
"Even though I'm doing the gym challenge, my true passion is showcases and performing" Serena said.
This surprised Ralts even more. She had always been torn between her desire to battle or perform. She never encountered someone who does both.
"S-So...you like to do both?" She asked.
Serena nodded. "I'll admit, I started out not being a big fan of battling, but after some time, I realized how much fun it is."
This convinced Ralts.
""I-I'd like to join you if it's still possible" she said.
Serena smiled. "Of course you can." She then took out a Poke Ball. She tapped it against Ralts' head and sucked her it inside, the ball dinging instantly.
Serena smiled at her new capture. She then threw the ball in the air. She caught Ralts in her arms.
"Welcome to the family Ralts" Serena said.
Ralts smiled brightly. Delphox and Sylveon blushed and called her adorable.
She rejoined Ash and the others. She showed Ralts to them. Rotom grew excited and took pictures.
"Beebee! Another shiny Pokemon to document-roto!"
"A Shiny Pokemon?" Serena said.
"They're very rare versions of Pokemon-roto" Rotom said.
"Do you remember that Hawlucha and Phantump we encountered back in Kalos? That's what shiny Pokémon are" Ash said.
"Oh, I see. So does that mean your Noctowl is a shiny Ash?" Serena asked.
"Yup. Although she sure played hard to get" Ash said with a chuckle.
After brief introductions, the group continued walking. After sometime the sun started to go down. The group decided to rest for the night. They let out all their Pokemon. Serena introduced Ralts to the others, said Pokemon hiding behind Serena's leg. They all ate dinner, Latias complimenting her cooking.
It was the middle of the night when Serena suddenly woke up.
"I gotta go..." she sleepily whispered to herself.
She left the tent and went to find a place to go. Once done and in a tired state, she accidentally ran into something. She held her head in pain and grunted. She looked up and saw a Pokemon also holding its head in pain. It was mostly green with red at the tips of its head.
"Sorry, are you ok?" Serena asked.
"I'm fine" she said.
The two shook off any remaining pain.
"What're you doing out here so late?" Serena asked.
The Pokemon looked nervous. "U-Umm...I uh, I got kicked out of my group because I was weak, so I've been wondering around looking for a place to stay" she explained.
Serena felt sad for her. She suddenly smiled.
"Well if you need a place to stay you can come with me, I've got some food too if you're hungry."
The Pokemon perked up at her offer. Her stomach started to growl. She blushed in embarrassment, which made Serena giggle. She ushered the Pokemon to follow her. Once they returned they saw Ash and the others outside the tent.
"Serena, there you are. We were about to go look for you" Ash said.
"Sorry about that Ash. I went to go to the bathroom and ran into this little cutie" she said, motioning to the Pokemon behind her.
Everyone looked and saw the Pokemon floating behind her. Rotom flew up and took pictures.
"Dreepy. The Lingering Pokemon. A Dragon/Ghost type. If this weak Pokémon is by itself, a mere child could defeat it. But if Dreepy has friends to help it train, it can evolve and become much stronger."
"Dreepy huh? Well it's nice to meet you" Serena said.
Dreepy smiled. Serena then got out some food from her backpack and gave it to Dreepy. After finishing her food Dreepy started to grow tired. Everyone went back to bed, Dreepy laying next to Serena.
Morning arrived and everyone started to get up. They ate and started to pack up. Before they left, Serena turned to Dreepy.
"What will you do now Dreepy?" Serena asked. Dreepy looked sad. Serena guessed she had nowhere to go. She smiled. "If you want, you can come with us" she offered.
Dreepy was surprised. "Y-You really want someone as weak as me?"
"You're not weak Dreepy. But I promise I'll help you get stronger" Serena said.
Dreepy grew teary eyed. Serena pulled out a Poke Ball and held it out. Dreepy flew into it and was sucked inside. After a couple shakes it dinged. Serena smiled at her new capture. She let Dreepy out.
"Welcome to our family Dreepy" she said.
Dreepy smiled. The group continued onward.
They continued walking until Ash suddenly tripped on something.
"Are you okay Ash?" Serena asked in concern.
Ash got up and rubbed his head. "Don't worry Serena, I'm fine."
They looked down and saw what looked like big rocks with imprints in them.
"What do you suppose these are?" Serena said.
"They're fossils" a voice said.
Ash and Serena yelped in surprise by the new voice. They turned to see a man with glasses and a woman that had mud on her.
"Sorry for scaring you" the woman said.
"It's fine" Ash said.
"Wait, you said these were fossils?" Serena asked.
"Correct! And we just so happened to bring this" the man said, revealing a machine.
"What's that?" Serena asked.
"This is our fossil restoration machine. It takes in fossil parts and restores them to their former state" the woman explained.
"Wow! Science is so amazing!" Ash said with excitement.
They all gathered the fossil parts and placed them in the machine. The man booted it up and began converting the parts.
"How long will this take?" Ash asked.
"About 2 hours" the woman said.
During said 2 hours, Ash and Serena decided to do some training, focusing more on Latias, Ralts and Dreepy. After 2 hours the machine started making noises.
"It's finally done" the man said.
The lid opened and a Pokemon materialized. It had a blue fish like head and fins, and a dragon looking body.
"Uno! Lalala!" It said.
Everyone marveled in awe at it. Rotom took some pictures of it.
"Dracovish. The Fossil Pokemon. A Water/Dragon type. Powerful legs and jaws made it the apex predator of its time. Its mighty legs are capable of running at speeds exceeding 40 mph."
Ash walked up to it. "Nice to meet you Dracovish."
Dracovish looked at him. It then opened its mouth and chomped down, barely missing Ash. Ash started to run with Dracovish chasing him.
"Why?!" Ash said while running.
Greninja ran forward. Dracovish fired a Water Gun at him. Greninja dodged and in a swift motion, hit Dracovish with a Night Slash. Dracovish fell down and calmed down.
Ash returned and went up to Greninja.
"Thanks Greninja."
Greninja nodded in response. Ash walked up to Dracovish again. He put a hand on its head.
"Hey Dracovish, are you alright?"
Dracovish started to move again. It playfully and gently bit down on Ash's head again.
"H-Hey stop that" Ash said while laughing.
"Say, why don't you take care of that Dracovish?" The woman said.
"Really? I can?" Ash asked.
"Sure, we've already collected the data we wanted anyway" the man said.
Ash then pulled out a Poke Ball. "Dracovish, you wanna come with me?" Ash asked.
Dracovish smiled and waved its fins. Ash threw the ball at it and was sucked inside. After a couple shakes it dinged.
Ash let Dracovish out. "Welcome aboard Dracovish."
Dracovish smiled again. It then chomped down on Ash's head, him flailing to get out.
It was starting to get darker when the group decided to rest.
"Maybe after tomorrow we can head to Motostoke?" Ash suggested.
"That's fine" Serena said.
Dinner was soon made. As everyone ate the sounds of grass shifting behind them started to erupt. They turned and saw two Pokemon observing them. One was blue and had a big fin attached to its head, the other one was white and red and had a patch on its head. The blue one looked scared while the white and red one took a protective stance in front of it.
"Hello, who might you two be?" Serena asked.
"Name's Scorbunny" she said.
"M-My n-name's S-S-Sobble" he said nervously.
Rotom flew up and took a few pictures.
"Scorbunny. The Rabbit Pokemon. A Fire Type. It has special pads on the backs of its feet, and one on its nose. Once it's raring to fight, these pads radiate tremendous heat."
"Sobble. The Water Lizard Pokemon. A Water Type. When it gets wet, its skin changes color, and this Pokémon becomes invisible as if it were camouflaged."
"They're so cute!!" Serena squealed. She then went up and picked up Sobble. "Especially you!"
Sobble blushed at her comment. Scorbunny puffed her cheeks.
"I'm cute too..." she muttered.
Ash then walked up next to Scorbunny. "Sorry about her" he chuckled.
"Well...at least Sobble looks happy" she said.
Ash glanced at her and saw her smiling.
"Hey Scorbunny." Said Pokemon looked at him. "Do you two want to come with us?"
The two were shocked to hear that. Serena smiled at Sobble.
"We'd love to have you guys" Serena said.
After glancing at each other, Scorbunny and Sobble happily agreed. Ash and Serena pulled out a Poke Ball. They threw them and the Pokémon were sucked inside. After a couple shakes the balls dinged. The couple threw the balls into the air. Sobble landed in Serena's arms while Scorbunny landed on Ash's shoulder.
"Welcome to the family guys" Serena said.
Sobble happily hugged Serena while Scorbunny high fived Ash with her foot.
As nighttime approached, the group was preparing dinner. Ash suddenly felt a surge of energy pass through him. He turned to the direction he felt it from. Greninja also turned in the same direction.
"What's wrong Ash?" Serena asked.
Ash said nothing. He suddenly ran, Greninja following him. Serena was going to run after them, but she didn't want to leave the Pokémon. Latias followed them just in case.
The three kept running until they stopped when they approached the boarder of a cliff wall. Ash and Greninja felt the surge again. They looked at each other and nodded. Ash turned to Latias.
"Can you take us to the top Latias?"
Latias nodded. Ash and Greninja climbed onto her back. The three then flew up the cliff side. After a couple minutes they reached the top. They looked around but didn't see anything. They suddenly felt another surge, coming from the north. They went in that direction. After another couple minutes they reached an open space with some tall pillars spread around. They felt one last surge. They looked up and saw someone resting on the top of the highest pillar.
Ash closed his eyes and tried to send out his own surge of aura. The Pokémon reacted to it. It turned around to see the three looking up. It jumped down and landed right in front of Ash. It turned out to be a Lucario. The two stared at each other.
"I've been waiting for you" he said.
"...I know" was all Ash said.
"I sensed your presence when you arrived in this place. You have incredibly strong Aura, you and your partner" he said, motioning to Greninja at the end. Greninja didn't respond.
"Me and Greninja felt you calling out to us, why did you?" Ash said.
Lucario paused for a moment.
"...I wish to join you" he said.
Ash and Greninja were surprised to be asked that.
"You want to join us? Why?" Ash asked.
"To put it simply, you are the one I've been waiting for. Like you, my Aura capabilities are quite strong. My desire was to meet someone like me, who understands what it's like to wield such power" Lucario explained.
"It's powerful, but also terrifying" Ash answered.
Lucario was a little surprised to hear exactly how he describes it. He nods.
"Y'know...I have a feeling we were destined to meet" Ash said.
Lucario nodded in agreement. Ash looked at Greninja, who nodded in agreement as well. Ash then took out a ball and held it out.
"Let's train and work hard Lucario" he said with a smile.
Lucario smiled. He bumped his fist against the ball. He was sucked inside, the ball dinging instantly. Ash let out Lucario. He, Greninja and Lucario then did a three person fist bump. They all climbed back onto Latias and returned back towards the group.
After getting to know everyone they all went to sleep. It was around the dead of night when the couple was woken up but the sounds of screaming. They rushed out and saw Scorbunny and Sobble running towards them.
"Scorbunny?! What's wrong!" Ash called out in concern.
"Sobble!" Serena cried out.
They suddenly felt the ground shake as loud footsteps got closer. Then out of the darkness, a giant Pokémon appeared and let out a loud roar.
The group screamed and flailed their arms.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!!!!" Serena screamed.
Rotom, while shaking in fear, took a couple pictures.
"Drednaw. The Bite Pokémon. A Water/Rock type. Gigantamax form. It responded to Gigantamax energy by becoming bipedal. First it comes crashing down on foes, and then it finishes them off with its massive jaws."
Ash got over his fear first. He first turned to Pikachu.
"Kay Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt at the Pokemon. It hit, but practically did nothing. Ash then motioned to Lucario and Latias.
"Alright then, Lucario Aura Sphere! Latias, Mist Ball!"
Lucario and Latias fired off their attacks, doing a little damage. He then turned to Decidueye.
"Decidueye, use Spirit Shackle!"
Decidueye shot out his attack, it not doing as much.
Ash grunted. "Dracovish! Use Water Gun!"
Instead of doing that, Dracovish held Ash's head in its mouth, smiling in affection.
"H-Hey wait! We're in the middle of a battle!" He said while flailing his arms and legs.
Dracovish let go and fired off it's attack, not doing much.
The Gigantamax Drednaw had had enough. It roared, making a giant rock wall raise out of the ground. It then started to fall towards the group. Latias acted fast and grabbed all the ones not able to escape.
Scorbunny was running until she tripped. She looked up and saw the rock wall coming down. She was too scared to move. She was suddenly pushed out of the way by Sobble, both managing to escape unharmed.
"A-Are you okay?" He shyly asked with worry.
"Y-Yeah...! I-I'm okay" she answered.
"L-Let's get outta here" he said. He grabbed Scorbunny's hand and the two ran back towards Ash and Serena. Scorbunny blushed as they ran.
Ash decided to end this. He turned to Greninja.
"Let's go Greninja! Full power!" He yelled as they initiated the transformation.
All the new Pokémon gasped at seeing this. Sobble especially in awe.
"Greninja! Water Shuriken!" Ash said as he reached behind his back.
Greninja grabbed the Green Water Shuriken and leaped into the air towards the giant Pokémon.
"Is he insane?! Taking on that monster head on?!" Ralts said in shock.
"Don't worry, he'll be fine" Delphox said as she watched on.
Greninja swung his Shuriken right into its face. This caused the Pokémon to stumble backwards. Greninja used its giant body to get back onto the ground.
"Double Team!"
Greninja produced multiple copies of himself. They all leaped onto the giant Pokémon.
"Use Night Slash, then follow it up with Aerial Ace!"
Ash and Greninja moved in sync, dealing more and more damage. They could tell the Giant Pokémon was starting to weaken. At the same time, Greninja was starting to get tired.
'Dammit! We're doing damage but it's still not enough!'
The giant Pokémon stomped on the ground, causing it to crack. The crack started to leak a weird energy. It slowly made its way towards Pikachu. Electricity started to spark.
"What's this?" He said curiously.
His question was answered when he suddenly started to grow bigger. Everyone turned and gasped in shock. Pikachu eventually stopped growing and almost lost his footing. Everyone was speechless at what they were seeing.
"D-Did Pikachu just D-Dynamax?!" Serena said.
Rotom took a couple pictures.
"Pikachu. The Mouse Pokémon. An Electric type. Gigantamax form. When it smashes its opponents with its bolt- shaped tail, it delivers a surge of electricity equivalent to a lightning strike."
"So Pikachu can Gigantamax too?" Ash asked to no one in particular. He faced the giant Pokémon again. "Let's finish this then!"
"Ash! Gigantamax Pikachu can perform the move G-Max Volt Crash! Use that-roto!!" Rotom called out.
Ash nodded and thanked him. He then pulled his hat backwards.
"Lucario Aura Sphere! Latias Mist Ball! Greninja Water Shuriken! Decidueye Energy Ball! Dracovish Water Gun! Scorbunny Ember! Pikachu G-Max Volt Crash!"
Lucario, Latias, Dracovish and Scorbunny fired off their attacks from the ground. Greninja and Decidueye leaped into the air, Decidueye opening up his Aura powered eye, and threw their attacks. They then pulled back, allowing Pikachu to deliver the final blow. After a huge explosion, the giant Pokémon started to shrink to normal size. Once back to normal, it ran away out of sight.
Everyone sighed as Pikachu and Greninja reverted back to normal.
"Everyone okay?" Ash asked.
"We're fine Ash!" Serena called back.
Ash nodded. He and his Pokémon joined together.
"Great work guys, you all did awesome" he said.
They all smiled and nodded. Scorbunny glanced at Sobble again. She blushed hard and quickly looked away. She held the hand Sobble grabbed. She smiled as she placed it over her heart.
They all decided to try to get a little more sleep. Morning eventually came. They decided to finally make their way to Motostoke.
They all ate breakfast. Greninja noticed Sobble looking a little sad. He decided to talk to him.
"Hey Sobble, what's wrong?" Greninja asked.
Sobble looked away with shyness.
"N-N-Nothing" he said shyly.
"Sobble...I can tell something is bothering you. You can tell me about it, we're both water types so we already share a bond" Greninja said in a attempt to make the little guy feel better.
Sobble looked at him in awe, his eyes sparkling. He came back to his senses and grew sad again.
"I-It's just...last night I was just so scared...w-well I've always been scared since I was really little...but I still just stood by in fear. B-But you didn't hesitate to attack it head on. I-I knew you looked strong, but seeing it makes me think I'll never become that strong..."
Greninja felt bad for Sobble. In a way, he saw himself in him. He placed a webbed hand on the top of his head.
"Don't let it get to you Sobble. I didn't get that strong overnight. Everyone starts at the bottom. You will grow stronger."
"B-But how do I even start?" He asked.
"That's up to you. But y'know...The journey to become stronger starts with a single step. But the journey to grow, starts with a leap" Greninja said.
Sobble just took all his words in with a nod. The group eventually finished breakfast and packed up. They returned everyone except the ones who stayed out. They were about to head out when they noticed a little opening in the ground where the giant Drednaw stomped on. They inspected it.
"Looks like it may lead to something" Serena guessed.
"Maybe. But only one way to find out" Ash said as he, Pikachu and Greninja jumped in.
Serena sighed. She, Delphox and Sylveon jumped in after them. It was pitch black, so Delphox lit up her stick so they could see. They scanned the area, not seeing anything noteworthy.
"If there's nothing here, why is this space even here?" Serena said.
They suddenly heard something. It started to get louder. Then without warning, something landed on Serena's head.
"Oww! Dammit!" She yelled.
She opened her eyes and saw a Pokémon in her lap. The others got closer. Rotom appeared and took pictures.
"Petilil. The Bulb Pokémon. A Grass type. The deeper the color of a Petilil's leaves, the healthier the Pokémon is. Petilil sometimes makes its home in a well-tended field or flowerbed."
"If that's true, then what's one doing in a place like this?" Serena said.
Petilil, who was asleep, started to wake up. She opened her eyes and saw saw Serena looking down at her.
"What the...where am I?" She said. "Who are you?"
"I'm Serena, and these are my partners Delphox and Sylveon." She looked at Petilil with intrigue. "What are you doing in a place like this?"
"I'm not sure. The last thing I remember was walking in a field and then falling through a hole. There was a flash and next thing I knew I'm here" she explained.
The two looked at each other. If she did fall from the area directly above them, they or the Pokémon would've seen them. And her seeing a flash didn't make sense either.
"Umm...if it's no trouble, can I come with you? I don't know where I am or have anywhere to go" she said.
"Of course you can" Serena said with a smile. She took out a Poke Ball and tapped it against Petilil. She was sucked inside and dinged after a couple shakes.
"Well, I guess we can head back now" Ash said.
Serena agreed. They were about to leave when Greninja heard something a little ways away. He started to walk in the direction, Ash and the others following him. Eventually Greninja stopped and froze. Ash and the others caught up and also gasped in shock.
There, in the corner, laid a Pokémon. Ash walked up to get a closer look at it. It looked like a Zorua, however it was white and blue, and had something covering its mouth.
"What...is that?" Serena said.
"A Zorua? Maybe?" Delphox said.
Ash picked it up. It too was sleeping. Greninja walked up. He observed it, with a look that seemed curious, apprehensive and slight discomfort.
Rotom took a couple pictures.
"No Data."
"No Data? But it looks like a Zorua" Ash said.
"Could be a new kind of form or something" Serena guessed.
The Pokémon started to stir. Pikachu jumped onto Ash's shoulder to get a better look. The Zorua opened its eyes. As it's vision became clearer, Ash spoke.
"Hey, are you alright?"
Zorua looked around. "What...what, happened?" She whispered.
"We found you passed out in the corner over there. Do you know how you got there?" Ash asked.
"N-Not really. All I remember is seeing a big flash, which I guess knocked me out. And, now I'm here" she explained.
Ash and Serena looked at each other before nodding. Ash looked at Greninja, but was surprised to see him looking a little anxious. That's when Ash remembered that his mother was a Zorua before she became a Zoroark, so this probably makes him feel uncomfortable.
Ash didn't know what to do. He wanted to help this strange Zorua, but he cared about Greninja's feelings more.
"H-Hey umm...can come with you? I-I don't know where I am, a-and I feel like I can trust you" she said.
Ash was completely torn. He struggled to answer. He suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned to see Greninja holding up a Poke Ball for him to take, him not even looking at him.
"Greninja..."
"It's fine..." was all he said.
Ash reluctantly took the ball. He then tapped it against Zorua. It dinged after a couple shakes. Ash looked at Greninja again. Said Pokémon saying nothing. They decided to finally leave. As soon as they emerged from the hole, they were met by another Pokémon. It was white, brown and yellow. Rotom took a couple pictures.
"Yamper. The Puppy Pokémon. An Electric type. This Pokémon is very popular as a herding dog in the Galar region. As it runs, it generates electricity from the base of its tail."
"ITS SO CUTE!!!" Serena squealed with sparkling eyes and blushing cheeks. She picked it up and started to snuggle against it. "You are just the cutest thing, and you're so soft and warm and—"
The Yamper started to grow angry and charge up electricity. It then shocked Serena while she spoke. Serena shrieked from the electric shock. After ending, she was covered in soot. Her eyes were replaced with swirls. She became dizzy, and eventually fell to the ground. The Yamper landed and growled.
Delphox and Sylveon got ready to attack it. Yamper stood its ground.
"Yamper! Where did you go?" A voice called out.
Yamper immediately perked up. It turned around and barked. A minute later a girl came running up. She had Maroon colored hair tied up in a long ponytail. She was wearing a light gray long sleeved striped top and yellow pants with yellow suspenders. Yamper ran towards her and jumped into her arms.
"Where did you run off to?" She then noticed Ash and his group, Serena still laying on the ground. "Who are you?"
"Well, I'm Ash, and these are my partners Pikachu and Greninja. And the person your Yamper shocked is my girlfriend Serena" Ash said.
"Yamper..." the girl said with disapproval. Yamper felt bad upon hearing her tone.
Ash helped Serena back up. She was still a little dizzy.
"Ash...how did you get used to this for 5 years...?" She moaned.
Pikachu secretly sweatdropped.
Serena eventually recovered and shook any remaining soot off. She noticed the girl looking at them perplexed.
"Oh, sorry about that. My name's Serena, and these are my partners Delphox and Sylveon."
"My name is Chloe. And sorry about Yamper, he doesn't like being held by strangers" she said. "So what're you doing all the way out here?"
"We were just on our way to Motostoke" Ash said.
"Really? That's where we were headed as well" Chloe said.
"How bout we go together then?" Serena offered.
"Sure. Although...we need to find him first" Chloe said with a sigh.
"Him?" Ash said.
Greninja suddenly sliced an object that was about to hit him in half. It turned out to be a Poke Ball. Soon after a boy appeared from behind a bush.
He had black hair with red highlights. He was wearing a dark gray shirt with a poke ball icon in the middle, black pants and dark gray and black shoes.
"That thing is quick, better try again" he said, reaching for another ball.
"Actually, Greninja here is already my Pokémon" Ash said.
The boy sighed in disappointment. "Man...I wanted to catch it..."
Chloe sighed. "Honestly Goh...can you not run off to catch a Pokémon for 2 seconds?"
"I can't help it Chloe, call it an impulse" Goh said with a chuckle.
Chloe sighed again. "Honestly...if you weren't my boyfriend I don't know how else I'd put up with you."
"Hey c'mon, you know I would always be there for you" he said.
Chloe blushed and smiled. Ash stepped forward.
"My name's Ash, and this is my partner Pikachu, and you've already met Greninja."
"My name's Serena, and these are my partners Delphox and Sylveon."
"I'm Goh. And my dream is to catch Mew" he said.
"Mew huh? That's a pretty big dream" Ash said.
"Yeah, but I'm not worried. Cause my future is in the palm of my hand" he said with confidence.
"And this is what I have to deal with every day..." Chloe said with a tired look.
"But it's not boring right?" Serena said.
Chloe softly smiled. "No...not really." She turned to Serena. "Boyfriends, am I right?"
"Very right" Serena said. The two girls giggled.
"What's so funny?" Goh asked.
The two girls faced them.
"Oh nothing" Serena said.
Ash and Goh looked at each other in confusion.
"Come on boys, let's head to Motostoke already" Chloe said.
The girls started to run towards the entrance to Motostoke.
"Girlfriends, am I right?" Goh said.
"Well you're not wrong" Ash said.
The two boys chuckled. They then ran to catch up with the girls, the Pokémon following close behind.
Hoo boy! Finally done! So much happened in this chapter, and yes I was planning for Goh and Chloe to appear and yes I ship them. I still haven't decided if they'll be joining Ash and Serena through Galar or not. Actually, let me know if you want that to happen. And uh, yeah, Ash caught a Hisuian Zorua, that kinda came last minute. I also decided for Ash to catch Lucario and not Riolu because he caught a Lucario in one of my personal favorite Amourshipping stories (Rest in Peace Champion/A Hero's Return, I'll miss you forever), and I wanted to honor that in my own way. I'll try to get one last chapter out for the year, so stay tuned for that. I hope you all enjoyed this. Oh! And have a Merry Christmas!
