(Eric's POV)
I am currently sleeping while in bed with Carley. But I felt nudging going on. I looked at her
"What's going on?" I asked her
"Its time Eric" She said in pain
"Wait.....now?" I asked scared
"Yes now! Get the go bag" She said in pain still
I ran and got the to go bag ready. We then headed out to my car and then headed to the hospital. Once we were there I drove thru the valet parking, since there's no way Carley is gonna be able to walk all the way to the doors
Once walking into the hospital I yelled super loudly. "My girlfriend is having a baby!" I yelled super loud
Some nurses come over. "Ok we got her. I will bring you back when she's ready" One of the nurse said before they took Carley to the back
After 2 hours the nurse that took my girlfriend back came for me
"You're the father right?" She asked me
"Yes" I said nodding
"Follow me. We will take you back to your girlfriend" She said bringing me back to my girlfriend
Once I was in the room with Carley. I saw how much pain she was in. And it honestly kills me to see her go thru this. Just her being in pain kills me. I held her hand
"Don't worry babe in a few hours this boy will be out" I said and kissed her hand
"This Is your fault!" She yelled
I looked shocked and tried not to take it to heart because I know she's in pain.
"I will be with you thru it all Car. I promise you that" I said softly
The nurse came back in with scrubs.
"The doctor said if you are gonna be with your girlfriend in the delivery room then you need to put this on" She said handing me the scrubs
"Ok. How far along is my girlfriend?" i asked
"Last we checked she was 7 cm. We have to wait until she is 10" She said then walked away
40 minutes later Carley was screaming and saying how much I sucked. I looked at my phone and saw it was 7:45 in the morning. I mean I woke up at 4:30 and drove here. I brought her in at 5 so yeah makes sense
"Alright let's get her into the deliver room people" Dr.Bailey said
I walked next to Carley bed. Once we were in the delivery room it took another hour. And after Carley screaming and keep saying how much she hates me. I finally heard my son's cry. I smile as I saw his bloody face.
"Carley, you did it babe" I said to her
"I did?" She asked as she was crying
"Yeah you did. They are wiping him off now" I said
"Dad, do you want to cut the cord?" One of the nurses asked me.
I looked at Carley. "I will be right back" I said and walked over.
I saw my son. He looks cleaner now because they wiped him down. The nurse told me where to cut.
"What is his name?" She asked me
"Eric Junior Samuel Wilson" I said. To the nurse. She walked away
That was the name Carley and I came up with. Yeah she wanted to name our first son after me. And I agreed because I will do anything to make my girlfriend happy. No matter what
They moved Carley and I to a room again. And we waited while EJ was getting checked out. Once he came I smiled. The nurse gave EJ to Carley. Which I understand because that's his mother.
Carley smiles as she held little EJ.
"He is so cute" She said as she held him
"Like his father?" I asked with a smile
"Oh yeah. Totally" She said smiling. Then her smile went away
"Hey.....what's wrong?" I asked going over to her side
"I'm so sorry for what I said to you during the birth" She said as she was about to cry
I shake my head and kiss her softly. "I know you didn't mean any of it. So you don't need to be sorry" I said
She nods and just looks at EJ
"I wanna see his eyes" She said softly
"Try tickling him" I said
"Maybe" She said and tried it.
EJ laughs and opens his eyes once Carley stops tickling him.
I saw his eye color. And he had blue eyes. Which makes sense since I used to have blue eyes before growing up.
"He's gonna be a heartbreaker" I said with a laugh
"Oh yeah he will" She said with a chuckle
After calling our families they all came to the hospital and saw little EJ. They don't know his name yet though.
"Guys listen for a second" I said
"We have the name for him" Carley said as she softly rubs EJ's cheek
"Well what is my godson's name?" Ellie asked excited
"We have decided to name him. Eric Junior Samuel Wilson" Carley said to everyone
"Wow another Eric" Michelle said with a laugh
"Hey Carley wanted to name him after me" I said putting my hands up
"Now since there are two Eric's now. We are just going to call our son EJ. Which is short for Eric Junior." Carley said
"I like that" Ellie said smiling
"That sounds like a cool nickname" Arthur said
"Let me hold my nephew" James said reaching for EJ
"Hey I'm the oldest I get to hold him first" Michelle said
"I'm the godmother I get to hold him" Ellie said
"Mom....Do you want to hold your grandson?" I asked my mom, shutting up my siblings and Ellie.
"Really?" My mom asked
"Yeah" I said nodding
She smiles and comes over. Carley handed EJ over to my mom.
"Hi EJ. I'm your grandmother" She said softly
EJ looks at her and points at her nose.
My mom laughs and cries a little. "Wow" She said
"Mom, do you want to hold him?" Carley asked her mom
Her mom nodded. My mom gave EJ to Carley's mom. And Carley's mom had the same reaction like my mom did.
"Our kids have a kid" Her mom said to my mom
"Yep. That's gonna be hard to get used to" My mom said to her
After everyone has had the chance to hold EJ. I ended up back holding him. He slowly went to sleep in my arms. Luckily I was sitting down already so I didn't have to move
"Did he fall asleep?" Carley asked with a smile
"Yeah he did" I said smiling
"Do you want to put him in the little crib they gave us?" She asked
"Not really. I want to hold my son" I said softly
She smiles. "You know you always said that a girl would be worse to have. But I think EJ got your heart already just like a girl would" She said
"Hey this is my first child of hopefully many" I said
"How many do you want Eric?" She asked me
"At least 4" I said
"Hmm....I could deal with that" She said looking at me
"I'm glad we can agree on something" I said still just looking at EJ
I slowly got tired because I mean I woke up really early. Carley already went to sleep because of all the pushing and her being in pain. So as I was sleeping going to sleep. I quickly woke up because EJ started to cry
"Oh come on buddy. What's wrong?" I asked him.
He just kept crying.
"Come on little guy don't wake up mom" I said as I slowly rock him
"Eric he might be hungry" Carley said looking at me
I looked at him. "Yeah, you're probably right" I said and gave Carley EJ.
I watched as Carley put her shirt down for EJ to eat. "I uh. I will wait outside" I said giving her some privacy.
(Carley's POV)
EJ was sucking on my boob pretty hard
"Sweetie calm down" I said as i hold his head securely
He then looks at me with a blank stare but continues to suck
"You have no idea what I am saying do you?" I asked with a chuckle
Once he was done eating. He started to cough a little. So I put him on my shoulder and pat his back for him to stop. Then slowly rocked him back to sleep. He slowly does go back to sleep after a few minutes of rocking
Eric comes back in. "Is everything closed?" He asked
"Yes Eric. I am all covered" I said with a laugh
He walked in and saw that I was truly all covered. He smiles when he sees EJ
"You know you have seen me naked. I mean that's how I got pregnant" I said with a laugh
"That is true but I was also raised to be a gentleman and never see a women naked unless she is ok with it" He said
"And I hope that EJ will be raised like that" I said smiling at Eric
"I hope so too" He said coming over to me. He put his hand on top of mine. "Do you mind if I put EJ into the crib?" He asked me
"Um sure. But why?" I asked with a smile
"Can't I hold my girlfriend hand without a reason?" He asked
"Hmm. Ok. Please be careful" I said handing EJ over to his dad
"He's my kid too Carley. And I promise I'll always be careful with him" He said as he held EJ
"You wanna know what is funny?" I said after realizing what day it is
"What?" Eric asked as he walked over to the side of my hospital bed just to sit with me.
"It's Halloween" I said
"No way" He said with a chuckle
"Yes it is. Eric we had a Halloween baby" I said laughing
"Oh he is gonna be throwing great parties now" He said jokingly
"Um he's not gonna be at parties until college" I said pointing at him
"Do you remember how I said that if we had a daughter that she couldn't date until 30?" He asked
"Yeah what about that?" I asked confused why he brought that up
"Because you are acting that way, like you're saying that EJ can't go to parties or have parties until college" He said
"Hey EJ can date when he's in middle school but parties are more serious. If he drinks then he can get a girl pregnant" I said pointing at him
"Ok Carley, you are thinking way into the future. He is only a few hours old" He said with a chuckle
"Right. You're right" I said trying to calm my thoughts
"But he is gonna be a heartbreaker" He said with a chuckle
"Or he'll be like his father and met the one of his dreams in high school" I said
"Carley, our story is one in a million. I mean yeah people date in high school then break up. But we dated then broke up and then got back together. And now we have a kid. Even though I want EJ to find one girl and like her forever. The world is not like that way" He said putting his hand in mine
I sigh and play with his hand. "I know" I said
"But hey our story is far from over at least" He said with a smile
"That is very true" I said. I reach for his cheek and kissed his cheek softly
"I'm gonna go get some food" He said kissing my cheek now
"Ok. Ohh can you get McDonald's?" I asked
"Sure thing" He said smiling
Then walked out of the room. But as he left Ellie came in.
"Hey bestie" She said
"Hey" I said looking at her
"And hello my handsome godson" She said going over to EJ
"Hey! He's asleep" I said to her softly
"Oh. Well ok I'll just talk to you then" She said jokingly
She comes over. We talked for 40 minutes because that's how long it took for Eric to come back. After eating it was now about 5:30 p.m. I was still tired from this morning. So I ended up calling it a night
(Eric's POV)
I was watching tv while I heard Carley's little snores. I smile and turned off the tv. I just went on my phone. I texted Arthur, James and Alex. We were in a group chat.
I named it the "cousin chat #boysonly"
They all said that they can't wait to spend time with EJ. And I told them the plan of maybe Carley and I moving to an apartment or whatever.
Then I started to get tired so I texted them I was going to sleep. They said goodnight. I shut my phone off and went to sleep on the chair.
