A Pirate’s Offer
Two days past, the blood moon pirates continued to sail towards south. The crew were quite overwhelmed by their experience last night, causing them to be exhausted for they had encountered a huge storm.
It was their first time to stumble upon a huge tempest. They are rather flabbergasted by their experience, except for six people.
Tsuki, Killua, Pitou and Pouf had survived the storm like it was just a small gale, and so does Knukkle and Kite, they operated the ship like professionals.
The six members volunteered to stir and controlled the ship while the other members rested in a specific chamber.
While they stirred the ship, Pitou on the bird’s nest, has spotted a wide island, with two landforms at both of its sides. He quickly informed his captain and navigator about it. Kite confirmed that it is the island that he had drawn on the map.
Upon nearing the daunting looking island, almost everyone – including those who got out of the resting chamber – felt creeped out just by looking at its shape.
Their captain, Tsuki, however was already plumbing the area and thinking of a strategy for her next move – getting the other pirates to reach this island safely.
While thinking, Tsuki noticed something about the eerie island they are approaching. It is not like the other islands they commonly spotted across the vast oceans they’ve traveled instead, acquiring an odd shape that of a literal human skull.
This shocked the whole crew as gasps were heard on the ship. Their ship entered through the skull’s mouth and noticed it being empty but a single humungous tree growing in the middle, with its branches coming out of one of the skull’s eyehole.
Now…. Tsuki was certain that this is exactly the place where they can be safe and hide the rest of the suffering pirates.
“Alright minna, this is the place. Dock the ship near the tree and we’ll start from there. Killua, Pitou, Pouf secure the area. Make sure we are completely alone. Knuckle, Leorio see if we can build chambers around the tree without hurting it. Also add some houses that are attached or near the walls across from the tree, then build bridges to connect the houses to it. Don’t worry about the materials needed, we’ll find a way for it. Palm and Ponzu, go through the supplies we have and fix something you can all eat. Kite and Pokkle come with me”. Tsuki immediately gave out orders to her crewmates once she had decided, all while looking at the owner of the names she mentioned.
“HAI!!!!” the crew loudly exclaimed.
As the crew started their tasks they are given Kite and Tsuki headed to her office to think of a way to bring the other pirates to that island.

“A letter perhaps Senshou” Kite suggested to his thinking captain.
“And how do you suggest we deliver the letters to them without exposing ourselves to other citizens? Besides we don’t know anything about they’re whereabouts. All we have is a vague location” Tsuki inquired while sitting on a chair facing the two.
“Do you, by any chance, own a bird Senshou? Birds are quite known for delivering messages throughout vast oceans” Pokkle proposed. “Any type of bird will do but I certainly recommend big ones like eagles.” He added.
“Hmmm…” is what Tsuki only responded pondering over a thought “alright” was what they heard before their captain made her way out of the room and to the deck. They followed her outside, standing by the door to see what she had in mind.
They soon heard her call her brother’s name, giving each other a look curious as to why would she call for Killua. They later on noticed Killua going to the very front of the ship and whistled very loudly, echoing through the whole place. This didn’t go unnoticed by the other crew members – except for Ponzu and Palm who were in the kitchen – wondering why the first mate did such thing. They then turned their heads to their captain just to see her looking around for something as well as Killua like they are waiting for something to respond to the call.
Moments later, they heard a loud screech resonating in the area. They looked around just to see a big brown eagle with white feathers around its neck and all the way down to its belly landing on their captain’s outstretched elbow.
The bird cooed when Tsuki caressed its head as if longing for its master’s touch.
“Glad he responded” they heard Killua say directly to their captain. “If there’s anything I don’t like about that bird is that it doesn’t respond whenever I call” he exclaimed while looking at the bird with a glare.
“Maybe because he knew we’re together” Tsuki replied.
“Tch, maybe….” he responded turning his head away.
“We’ll be sending a letter with this bird. If we’re successful, then we’ll proceed with the others” Tsuki spoke turning to look at Kite and Pokkle.
The two can only nod, stunned by their captain’s actions, to quickly think of a way. Killua then quickly uttered something mindboggling as if to remind his sister of the bird’s abilities.
“He surely can do it. He’s a smart bird after all.”
Nodding once again, the two together with their captain entered the room once again.
They gathered a piece of paper, a bottle of ink and a quill to write with giving all it to Tsuki.
The letter………...:
Fellow pirates,
I have found a safe place for all off you to reside in. If you aspire to live a peaceful life without worrying for your lives to be taken at any time of the day, then come to the farthest island of York New ocean. A map is provided for you to follow.
You all will be provided with shelter and an infinite supply of food and water. Guaranteed that you’ll also be protected from any form of harm in this place by a group of pirates sent by the King of Kings himself.
However, you must agree to the terms given to you to be able to enter the gates.
*Promising not to resolve in any type of violence with the other members of inhabitants brought to that area. Specifically, fellow pirates that were also rescued from starvation and suffering.
*Promising not to hurt nature (trees, animals and any lifeform) living in that area.
*Respect is a must and should be exchanged between every individual. Treating every single person as if one of your crew.
*A will to help fellow pirates in times of need should also be shown.
If you solemnly agree and swear to do these, then you are more than welcome upon entering. This letter must be shown to the guards appointed at the gates as proof of your agreement. Of course, you are also welcome to decline this offer. A grudge won’t be held against you.
Remember that this note is absolute and breaking the agreements listed would lead to exiling you from the island and are not permitted to enter again or a much more severe punishment – death.
This is an order from the great King himself, breaking it would mean treason against his principles.

As Tsuki finished writing the letter, she gave it to Kite who put a royal seal on it and attached a map. As it was handed to Pokkle who then tied it to the bird’s leg.
Tsuki then slightly whistled and gestured for the bird to come to her as she was walking out the room for the second time.
“Alright, you know what to do. Seek out those who greatly needs our help.” Tsuki faintly uttered to the bird then gave it a boost to fly and deliver the message.
Curious of what she said to the bird, Pokkle couldn’t help but ask. “Senshou, if you don’t mind me asking……” he paused waiting for a reaction from Tsuki.
His captain then slightly turned her head to the side as if listening to her crew waiting for him to continue his question.
Seeing that, Pokkle continued “what was it that you told the bird?”
A moment of silence passed before Tsuki answered his question. “It is something we say to him to let him know what to do.”
“It is somewhat a secret code to him before he flies and deliver the message.” Killua continued for her sister.
“Are you done with your patrolling Killua?” Tsuki questioned.
“Hai nee-san. The perimeter is clear every corner of the place. Although we’ve noticed a second entryway at the back of the skull. It is not as big as the one we used to enter.” He answered.
“We could use it as a secret exit when things get tough or if a great number of enemies ambushed us Senshou” Kite recommended.
“He’s right nee-san, we can’t always be too sure and let our guard down.” Killua pronounced to his sister.
Nodding to both of their statements she silently agreed. “I’ll let Knuckle know about it and build a second gate that won’t get noticed easily and have a single guard stationed there day and night” she declared.
Palm and Ponzu then came out holding trays of food for their crewmates.
“It’s time to eat minna!” they both shouted. “Here Senshou, you should eat too. I know you told us to fix food for everyone else but you, but we can’t just let our captain starve now, can we?” Palm playfully smiled at the while handing Tsuki a plate full of food.
Smiling gratefully at her cook/friend, she accepted the offer and began to eat the food as she joined her crew sitting in a circle, food in the middle.
