(Eric's POV)
So it is currently October 31. Which means party time for all the college students. Honestly though every weekend is party time for college students. The best news I got so far is that I'm walking further and further without help or stopping. The physical therapist said I might be able to walk again in a month. Which would be great. So I can show my mom I'm ok. When I go home for thanksgiving break that is.
Arthur has been helping me get to class some days. Because some days my legs turn to jello. And it's not fun at all. When that happens I have to hold onto something or someone a lot. And that someone is usually always Arthur maybe Ellie.
But today I didn't have jello legs so I was happy. I walked to class and sat next to my friend Timmy. Well his name is Timothy but everyone calls him Timmy. If Arthur wasn't here at this college, then I would definitely be bunking with Timmy. But Like I said I'm glad Arthur is here.
For the party Timmy, Arthur and I decided to be cops. I don't know why. Arthur thought of it. So I'm thinking Ellie is gonna be a slutty prisoner. Which I don't want to see at all. She has kind of became like another sister to me. That's why.
After my classes I go back to the dorm room and check my messages that were on my iPhone. I saw Carley sent me a voicemail. I listen to it
"Hey Eric. Happy Halloween i hope you have a good time at the party. Try not to get with any girls. Remember we are exclusive. I love you" She said
That was the end of it. I smiled because I heard her voice.
"Hey coz you ready to party?" Arthur asked excitedly
"Arthur man it's in the middle of the day. The party isn't until 7" I said shaking my head. I chuckled a little since he's so excited.
"Whatever man. I can't wait for it!" He said excited
"Why are you so excited?" I asked with another chuckle
"Cause man, this is our last college halloween party" He said
"Yeah but next year we can do our own little halloween party" I said to him
"That's not as fun though!" He said
"You're crazy coz. Do you remember 4 years ago? That High School party?" I asked him
"Oh.....No i don't" He said
"Yeah because you were drunk then also you idiot" I said with a chuckle
"Well I'm gonna be drinking again tonight baby! It's a party!" He said
"How is Ellie still with you?" I asked with a chuckle
"Actually man I wanna talk to you about Ellie" He said softly
"Alright.....What's up?" I asked him
He goes to his drawers and pulls out a ring box.
"Arth.....are you gonna propose?" I asked him
"Yeah......Yeah I am" He said with a chuckle
"Well congrats man" I said pulling him into a hug
"Don't congrats me yet man. She didn't say yes yet" He said putting the ring back in the box
"There is no doubt in my mind that she will say yes" I said to him
"I really hope you are right" He said chuckling
"I'm gonna take a little nap. Cause I'm tired. And if we are gonna be out all night I need my sleep" I said getting into my bed.
"Sleep well E" He said
"Thanks" I said then closed my eyes what felt like a second.
I heard knocking on the door. So i woke up and get it since Arthur probably went to his afternoon class. When I open the door I saw the one person who I've been wanting to see for awhile.
"Wow you really are actually walking and standing. I never thought I would see the day" She said with a smile
"Carley Levi, what are you doing in my dorm area?" I asked with a smirk
She smiles. "I wanted to see you" She said
I open my arms. "Come on in" I said
She runs into my arms almost knocking both of us over.
"God I miss you" I said in her ear
"I missed you too" She said into my chest
"But not as much as I missed doing this" I said. I leaned down and kissed her softly
She smiles into the kiss and kissed me back. I heard Arthur singing outside. So thats when I know I have to pull away from Carley
"Yo E are you getting ready for the party?" Arthur asked from outside the door. I'm guessing he thought I was changing. But I am truly glad he didn't brag in like he normally does.
I freak out for a second then start to think. "Uh.....yeah. Don't come in just yet" I said to him. I looked at Carley. "You got to hide" I said to her
"Where?" She whispered
"In the closet" I said and brought her there. "Just stay quiet please" I said and closed the closet door. "Alright Arth you can come in" I yelled through the door
He comes in and sees I'm not dressed for the Halloween party yet. "Dude you said you were getting ready" He said annoyed
"Yeah but I got a little, side track" I said to him
"Uh huh" He said with a chuckle. "Here I'll get your costume because you're legs are looking a little shaky" He said and was about to go to the closet
"No!" I yelled and ran in front of him
"No what?" He asked confused
"Let me get it. I mean you just saw that I ran over here" I said with a chuckle
"Dude you're being weird" He said
"Just go see Ellie. I'll be ready once you come back for real. No joke" I said to him
"Alright I'll be back in an hour" He said
He left the room. I quickly go to the closet and see Carley looking at me.
"Really?" She asked with her arms crossed
"I was panicking Car" I said to her
"Well let's get you ready for the halloween party because Arthur is gonna be mad if you didn't do what you promised him" She said and went to her bag. She pulls out a prisoner outfit but not just any, a sexy one.
"You and Ellie planned this didn't you?" I asked her
"I have no idea what you are talking about" She said with a smirk
"Uh huh" I said with a chuckle
"In all seriousness I was going as a sexy prisoner anyways but Ellie invited me here and told me we were gonna match" She said shrugging
"Well I guess our costumes are gonna match again" I said pulling out the policeman outfit from the closet.
She laughs. "Oh my god" She said still laughing
"Hey it's a normal costume. And besides guys aren't supposed to be sexy. It's the girls who have to be" I said
"So you are gonna be ok with guys dancing all near me?" She asked
"No. You are not gonna leave my side tonight" I said pointing at her
"Wouldn't have it any other way" She said with a smile
(Carley's POV)
After being with Eric for about 30 minutes. I had to leave before Arthur came back. I go to Ellie's dorm room. I knock on the door because I didn't know if Ellie was changing or not. And I didn't want to brag in, I'm not that kind of person.
She opens the door. "Hey. Where were you?" She asked pulling me in
"I just walked around" I said
"Did you see Eric?" She asked
"No" I said lying
"Are you lying to me Carley" She asked
"Never" I said smiling at her. She looks close to me. "What are you doing?" I asked with a laugh
"I know when you're lying. And you missy are lying" She said pulling away from being close
"What? No I am not" I said with a chuckle
"You do that a lot when you lie too" She said
"Ellie, why would i lie to you?" I asked her
"Because you still love Eric?" She said
"Look I'm dating someone" I said. Yeah I'm dating Eric again, but you don't need to know that. "So no I didn't see my ex boyfriend" I said
"Carley, how long have we been best friends?" She asked me
"Since diapers, why?" I asked
"Then why are you lying!?" She asked
"Ellie, I'm not" i said with a smile
"Fine, whatever don't tell me" She said. "Why don't we put our costumes on?" She asked me
"Yeah let's do it" I said smiling
We put our costumes on
"Oh by the way we are meeting at Arthur and Eric's dorm. You're ok with that right?" She asked me
"Sure" I said
"Well lets go" She said
We head to the guys dorm and went to their room. Once Eric open the door he looked so hot. Damn that boy.
"Wow you both look great" He said with a smile
"Well are you gonna let us in or what Wilson?" Ellie asked him
"Come on in" He said letting us in
When we went in there was Arthur and other guy with a girl who's also a prisoner
"Timmy this is Ellie's best friend Carley. Carley this is my best friend Timmy" Eric said
"And this is my girlfriend Samantha" Timmy said pulling the girl close
"But I go by Sami" The girl said
"Nice to meet you two" I said shaking their hands
"You too. So you and Eric have some history right?" Timmy asked
"Timmy let's not get into this right now, alright?" Arthur said patting Timmy's back
"Alright" He said shrugging
"Let's go to the party" Ellie said dragging Arthur with her
Eric and I laughed. Timmy and Sami go out next. Then it was Eric and I in his room. He closed the door.
"You look gorgeous" He said very close to kissing me
"And you look hot" I said pulling him down to my level
We ended up kissing.
"Where are they!" Ellie yelled
"Probably in the room still" Arthur said to her
Eric and I separated.
"Hey guys. What are you still doing here?" She asked
"Oh uh Carley helped me with my costume" He said
"Right. Um here Eric" I said giving him his hat back
"Alright......well let's go" She said pulling me with her
I laugh as she dragged me off
(At Party)
I was dancing with Ellie until Arthur took her away from me.
"Hey give me back my best friend!" I yelled at him
"She's my girlfriend" He said back
"Just find a guy Car. There are many here" Ellie said over the music
I sigh and just went to the kitchen to get a drink. I grabbed one. Since I'm 21 I can drink.
"Hey" Eric said coming over
"Hi" I said looking at him
"Do you want to dance?" He asked me
"I don't know. When we dance we get pretty close to each other" I said with a smile
"That's the whole point Levi" He said smiling back
"Well you probably would like it more if I danced with you and not some other guy" I said to him
"That would be correct" He said nodding
I drank my cup then threw it away. "Well let's go then" I said pulling him with me
He laughs as we get to the dance floor. We started to dance, well grind together.
"Ellie and Arthur are looking at us confused" He said into my ear
"Yeah I see" I said with a chuckle
"Want to really piss them off?" He asked me
"Hmm?" I asked turning to face him
He leans down and kissed me passionately
I moan into the kiss but kissed him back with my own compassion
"Alright you two enough. You're both obviously drunk" Ellie said moving me away from Eric
"We're not drunk Ellie" I said sighing
"Alright how many fingers am I holding up?" She asked and did a trick by moving all of them together
"It's a trick. You're moving all of them" I said to her
"Ok fine you're not drunk but he might be" Ellie said and tried the same on Eric
"Ellie, seriously?" He asked as he pushed his hair back
"Ok fine you're not both drunk. But I'm not gonna let you guys hook up" She said shaking her finger. "You're coming with me to Arthur. Eric go bother Timmy or go see Bella" Ellie said glaring at Eric
"Low blow Ellie" He said mad
"Who's Bella?" I asked confused
"Eric's on and off again girlfriend. Are you on this time?" She asked him
"No I have a real girlfriend Ellie" He said and smiled at me. At least he knows we are boyfriend and girlfriend again
"Then why are you dancing with Carley! And kissing her?" She asked yelling
"Because......." He said then looked at me
"Ellie we need to talk" I said sighing
"Alright let's go out of this party then" She said
We walked out.
"Ellie I am gonna tell you something. But you can't freak out" I said to her
"Ok. What's up?" She asked me
"Eric and I are dating......again" I said
She looks shocked. Then has a face i don't know. "Say that again please?" She asked
"Eric and I are dating again" I said
Then she laughs. "I'm sorry I keep hearing the same thing but I know you wouldn't do that. So I'm gonna ask the question and you just say yes or no" She said
I sighed and nodded my head
"Ok. So let me ask the question. Are you and Eric Wilson cousin of Arthur Rogers, that Eric and you are dating?" She asked
I smiled and nod.
"Oh god you're drunk" She said
"Ellie I'm not drunk. Eric and I decided to try us again" I said to her
"And you thought that was a good idea!" She yelled
"Why are you so mad!" I asked annoyed
"Because he broke your heart twice! And I had to watch you cry everyday until you left for school" She said to me
"I know but Ellie I love Eric. A lot. And I can't stop. You know how you knew Arthur is your true one?" I asked her
"Yeah what about it?" she asked confused.
"I found out in senior year Eric's mine. And I know he broke my heart twice but he explained why. And he did it so I wouldn't be held back. But Ellie I've tried dating at my college but they are all jerks. Eric is the one for me. So please just be happy for me" I said
"I just need time to think ok" She said
"Ok" I said nodding
"I'm done with partying tonight. Do you wanna come back to my room?" She asked me
"Sure" I said smiling at her
"I should tell Arthur we are leaving" She said
"And I'll tell Eric" I said
"Ok" She said nodding
We walked back in. Arthur and Eric standing together like cousins do.
"Hey we are going to go back to my dorm room" Ellie said to him
"Are you guys ok?" Eric said but looked at me
I smiled and nodded. "We are. Just tired" I said
"Alright. Well text me when you get there, alright?" Arthur said to Ellie
"I will. I love you" She said to him and hugged him
"I love you too Ell" He said and kissed her. Then turns to me. "See you tomorrow Carley" Arthur said and high fives me
"See you tomorrow Arthur" I said giving him a high five back
Eric comes and hugs me. "Text me when you get to Ellie's room. Ok?" He said into my ear
"I will" I said while hugged him back
"Bye guys" We said to the guys.
We then started to walk off to her room. Once we were there. We sat on her bed.
"Just tell me one more time. Just so I can actually process what's going on" She said
I sigh and smile at her. "Ellie......Eric Wilson and I are dating again" I said slowly
"Oh my god" She said rubbing her head.
"We wanted to say something earlier but we were also afraid of this" I said to her pointing to herself
"Carley are you sure you're not done looking for the true right guy? Cause Eric's one of those specials alright but there are others out there" She said grabbing my hand
I move my hand. "Ellie why can't you accept that Eric makes me happy?" I asked her annoyed
"Because he's the one who broke your heart. Not once but twice! You could do much better" She said
"I've tried Ellie. I've tried to find other Eric's but there either too nice and scared to say no. Or they take advantage of me. Eric is very considerate" I said to her
"Ok....well how are you two gonna work? I mean you go to school in Tennessee" She said
"We are trying long distance. And we have been doing ok" I said nodding
She sighs and hugs me. "If he breaks your heart for the third time, I'm gonna kill him" She said
"Hmm well if Arthur ever breaks up with you then I'm killing him" I said smiling at her
"Fine" She said putting her hand out. "Shake for it?" She asked with a smile
I shook her hand. Then we started to laugh
"Now lets go to sleep. I'm tired" I said yawning
"Yeah me too. But we should tell our guys we are back at the room" She said yawning
"True" I said and pulled out my phone. I went on Eric's profile and text him. I said we are here and going to sleep. See you tomorrow, I love you.
He texted back saying good I'm glad you got there alright. I love you see you tomorrow.
"Goodnight Car" Ellie said
"Goodnight Ell" I said and slowly fell asleep.
