Truthfully he spared the children as per the yautja oath which was taken as law. although he counted on you not knowing that so you would submit to him before you grew out of hand.
he had never seen a human fight like that in face of his race, the yautja. He downplayed the elder's skills, which would normally have resulted in his head being cut off by said elder, to belittle your skills.
if he were to fight you, he wouldnt leave without a wound of some sort, but he would still leave alive. Why go through the pain of that however when he could pick away at your confidence.

the other things on the phone were some social media apps, which didn't work due to the lack of the earth being anywhere near at this point- and a library app, with pre-downloaded books.
after watching the video you looked at him, he had an unreadable look on his face as you watched him. you went back to your phone without a second thought.
you glanced at the books, there had to be 10000s of them. alas, it was something to fill your time and relax you.
Setting the filters to what you liked, you window shopped the books until you found something that resonated with you- selecting it you began to read.

by the time En'ta was done with his weapons you were fast asleep with the human phone in your hands, he grabbed it and turned it off, plugging it into the charger fitted for translating yautja energy into human energy.
looking back up at you, he realised the time. He had planned to kick you off and keep the bed to himself, maintaining the idea of placing furs on the ground- however seeing you fast asleep you decided not to for an unknown reason.
he gave you your needed rest.

you awoke to the doors sliding open.
"We're here." a yautja said moreso to En'ta than to your 'sleeping' form.
once the doors slid shut you started to sit up.
"You must prepare yourself Oo'man." he commanded before getting up and leaving you to yourself.
this was going to be interesting.
you got up, did your hair, washed your face, and stared in the overly large mirror in front of you. Once you finished you opened the door to be greeted by another yautja, not En'ta, who lead you to the exit of the ship, which lead to an even larger one.
you were in charge of all this? you saw yautja working the shipping docks staring at you, mixed feelings displayed on their face, but a common one was disgust.
you followed behind the orange-hued yautja as he lead you down the hallways, past the eyes of the other yautja.

It was sudden, too fast for you to comprehend but you were now ina. closed room with said yautja who was now pinning you against the wall.
"Why did you pick En'ta to be your mate? you could leave him you know. he had a bad reputation.." He hammered.
"what is your name? it hasn't been announced yet." he asked.
"-Y/n.."
he let out a hum which could which let vibrations from his chest come out.
"Well Y/n I suggest you leave him, pick someone else, someone more.... caring." he stopped for a second, "Pick me."
you stared at him, oh how you wanted to say yes, he was the first yautja to seem caring though everything En'ta said came crushing back.
"can i think about it?"
"Unfortunately it would be best to answer now," he ran his hand over your cheek. you could feel the words of acceptance about to roll of your tongue when another force crashed into the room.
the orange yautjas weight was pulled from you and thrown against the far wall in a rush.
in front of you now stood En'ta absolutely furious and puffing, as if he had sprinted here from earth.
"Get the fuck. away from her. you greedy BASTARD" he boomed glaring at the other yautja. you were stunned.
"I almost got her, your grip on her is little~ little Y/n my offer will stand although it will be hard after the entrance ceremony~" He cooed as he walked out of the room with a subtle limp.
the blue yautja turned around with a growl.
"you are mine.... Y/n. dont you ever forget what i can do. he is a, what would you call it, leech. he doesn't care for you. only cares about hurting me." He stated. "We have to go now," he went to grab you however you flinched, still stunned from seeing an adult male yautja go flying in a second. however, En'ta pressed on and grabbed your arm- softly as he guided you down the hallways.
as he did so he let out a pur.
The sound itself felt nice and his hand felt warm through your jumper.
you looked up at him, now out of your daze, he still wore his mask. you imagined his face was somewhat cat-like considering the purring coming from it. although you could guess that it looked nothing like a cat it was still funny to think.
"Y/n, you will need to say you defeated Ah-Ai'Koh in a battle to take his position and that I am your mate, the king due to the battle, say we were mated before you went into battle" he looked down at you, "i will take care of the rest after that" he began to pur again, his thumb now rubbing your arm.
And so, without a second thought, you did just that. the room was filled with yautja that had just heard your story of beating Ah-Ai'koh with stunned expressions. When you went to make your final announcement to the clan, you saw a certain orange yautja standing there, now wearing a mask with white markings.
You, who didn't want to die, announced your mate as En'ta, who stood up and took the stand, now talking about something unrelated to yourself.
you took a deep breath as you stood beside him, looking out at the crowd of yautjas, all different hues of natural colours, male-female everything.
you zoned back in when En'ta wrapped his arm around you, failing to hide your blush you looked up at him. he was unphased.
once he was done talking he lead you down to the seats at the side and gave out a sigh as another yautja began talking, although in a series of clicks.
you stared at the common yautja unable to understand what he was saying.
"We will have to get you a translator implanted."
"You have translators?? you questioned without taking your eyes off the speaker.
"For the Oo'man slaves yes."
