"That's what I've always wanted to do," I murmured. "Throughout my teens and my early twenties, I always wanted to have fun. But my family always forbade me. The expectations on me get so overwhelming sometimes. And my husband Bruce..." I sighed. "He's a workaholic too. So we don't really spend much time together."
Lucy stared back at me with a sympathetic expression on her face, paying attention to my every word.
Letting me know that she cared.
"You really need a break, girl," Lucy commented. "Let me take you out tonight. It'll do you some good."
I scratched my arm timidly, not knowing how to react to this.
"We can spend time getting to know each other. Hell, if I was as rich as you, I'd never work again."
I couldn't help but to let out a giggle. If there was one thing that could be said about money...
It was that money couldn't buy you happiness...
"Have you ever been clubbing before?" Lucy asked thoughtfully.
