My heart felt like it was about to explode. I could barely breathe, because I felt so fucking dizzy. My surroundings blurred around me.
"Crystal," I mumbled.
"Good," Mum nodded. "Now let's go. We shouldn't keep everybody waiting."
Mum walked away from me, leaving me dithering in the cold, my head feeling like it was going to split open with everything that just happened.
Arturo showed me light in my life for just the two minutes he'd been back in it...
