"Who was that talking to you?" Kusuo asked as he sat on a plastic chair bolted into the wall.
"Teruhashi invited us to a party! I told him to text you with more information."
"Why...why would you wanna go to a party? We could just hang out together like last night!"
"I need more friends. I can't just have two friends for the rest of my school career."
"But...but you can just have me instead! I'm good enough!"
"No, end of discussion. I'm stopping the conversation. People are looking at me weird because they think I'm talking to myself!"
"Well, I mean...what's at a party besides stuff highschoolers getting into trouble. Like, what will they do there?"
Rolling your eyes, you looked out the window and saw the laundromat with a blue bus stop sign infront of it.
"This is our stop!" You grabbed the boys hand and yanked him quickly off the bus.
"Ow...rude."
Rolling your eyes and ignoring the complaints, you walked into the laundromat.
The receptionist turned to face you and smiled brightly. The boys bright blue hair was shaggy around his hair and in one ear, you saw a sneaky ear bud
"Welcome! The coin machine is right there and over there is a bunch of stuff to keep you entertained." He brightly pointed around the building and looked between the two of you.
"Are you dating?" He asked, cocking his head to the side.
"Say yes."
Rolling your eyes at the pink haired males demand, you shook your head.
"Ah, just friends!"
"Dammit...she said she trusted me...why do you do this?" Kusuo frowned deeply, scowling at you in his own head.
"Hmm...interesting." The blue haired male smiled brightly and turned back around.
"Alright, let's get started." You rolled up your sleeves and took the laundry basket from Saiki.
"I'm gonna go make a few copies of your keys."
"Mk!" You hummed in response as you loaded the foul smelling shirts into a pink washing machine.
Pouring a god forsaken amount of soap into the poor machine, you quickly skipped over to the coin machine and loaded it with a single bill you had in your wallet.
Over one hundred coins popped out.
"Dammit...I always do this..." Only grabbing the coins you needed, you walked back to the washer and popped the money in. "Now what the hell am I supposed to do with all of that?"
Softly complaining under your breath, you took a handful at a time and tossed them into your now empty laundry bag.
"Hey I got the copy-" Kusuo paused in the middle of the room once he saw what you were doing. "What the fuck? How much is that?"
"About ten thousand yen. In coins." You awkwardly stated.
"What the hell is wrong with you?"
Both of you broke into uncontrollable laughter as the stupidity of the situation finally settled in.
The coins spilled out of the bag and onto the floor, landing on the soft, cold tile.
"Dammit..." The laughter softly died down as you began to clean the stack of coins.
"Hey, did Torituka ever text you about that party?"
"My phones on silent. Let me check." Reluctantly, Kusuo pulled out his phone and checked his messages. "Yeah he gave me the time and address...how the hell did he get my number though."
"Did you give it to him and forget?"
"Why the hell would I give him number? I'm not super close friends with him or anything..."
"Nendo?"
"Eh, that's more likely." Kusuo shrugged as you hauled the bag back onto your shoulder,
Sitting down on a wooden bench infront of the washer you were using and Kusuo soon joined you.
"I wonder what's gonna happen at the party...maybe we can play Seven Minutes in Heaven!" You quickly threw your hands in the air at the thought of playing the lewd game with strangers.
"What's that?"
You paused and stared at him. "I can't tell if your being serious."
He gave you a wonky smile to show his confusion.
"Okay, so, seven minutes in Heaven is basically where you get locked in a room or closet and...do stuff...together...for seven minutes."
Giving him an awkward smile, you subconsciously prayed that he wouldn't need further explanation.
"What kinda stuff?"
"Normal teenage things."
"Fucking idiot, that doesn't help!" He playfully nudged your arm while you looked at the ground.
"Like...Kissing...and stuff. And you do it for seven minutes."
"Oh." Kusuo paused and thought to himself for a moment. "Anything you want to do to that person...for seven minutes?"
You nodded as the washing machine beeped. You took the dripping wet clothes out and began to haul them over to the dryer.
"Maybe this party won't be so bad..." Kusuo smiled brightly as he watched you toss the wet clothes into the next machine. A giant wet spot was on your body and the shirt you were wearing stuck to your skin.
"Aw man...gross..." You pulled the shirt away and it made a disgusting sloppy sound when it fell back onto your skin.
"So...how do the two people get decided."
You shrugged.
"There's multiple ways. Like just forcefully choosing two people or spinning a bottle."
"Hmm..." Kusuo smiled deviously, already developing a plan.
"When's this fucking laundry gonna be done?!" Frustrated, you threw your arms in the air.
"How long does it usually take you?"
"Oh...this is my second time. I didn't pay attention the last time and,uh, I've always had someone else do it for me...like a maid."
"Huh? Why did you have a maid?"
"Everyone has a maid?" You blinked a few times, trying to recall anyone you knew back in your hometown who DIDN'T have someone to listen to their every whim.
"Ohhh..." Kusuo smirked out of the corner of his mouth. "You're one of those rich kids, aren't you?"
"Huh? I grew up normal! Maybe a little upper class but just as average as yours!"
"Mhm...okay, so go through your daily routine as a child."
"Well...I would wake up in my room after Amy would announce that the day has started. I'd get dressed in my uniform, go downstairs, say "hi" to my mother and father's portrait and then eat."
"Portrait? Like a picture?"
"Yeah, they have this giant family photo of them in our front hall. They were always at work so I just said things to the portrait instead!" You smiled cheekily, not understanding how sad the previous statement was.
"So Y/Ns parents fucked her up..." Saiki looked at you, obviously concerned as he thought to himself quietly.
"And then, after I ate, I'd go to...school...in the town car. After, uhm, school, I'd get home, eat dinner, then take a bath with Amy helping me then go to bed."
"Yeah that's not normal."
"Well it was normal for me, asshole!" You smirked and rolled your eyes as the pink haired boy smiled.
