(Sasha's P.O.V):I went to bed thinking about everything that just happened tonight,and I could only think of one person who I really shouldn't be thinking about at all.
Why is he giving me so much mixed signals, why does he need to be so complicated to understand and most importantly why can't
he tell me how he really feels?
One minute he's cold and another minute he's over protective,but which side is the real Jay will I ever get to know it or not?
Sasha:Jay Park I'm confused you don't
love me but why the hell do you care?
Those were my last thoughts before I drifted
off the sleep,tomorrow just might be another interesting day I'll just have to see what's in stores.
(Jay's P.O.V):I lie here in my bed unable to sleep because I keep thinking about her,it seems to be all I think about lately no matter how many times I try to distract myself I just can't figure it out.
My mind tells me no but my heart says something else totally different,but instead I keep listening to my mind in order to save my heart.
It's been through enough it doesn't need to be in pieces again,but which one is really right which one can I trust my mind or my heart?
Jay:Sasha Martin what is it about you that's driving me crazy?
(Sasha's P.O.V):The next morning I woke up to go back to work for the first time in almost a week,I never intended to have so much time off but when life becomes so hard you have no choice but to take some time off.
I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom
to shower and do my morning routine,once I finished I picked out an outfit to wear and did my make up and hair.

After getting dressed I head downstairs to
eat before I leave,while down there I saw Chloe,Zico,and Sik sitting together eating
their breakfast until they saw me walk in.
DeVita:Hey Sasha good morning!She greeted happily."
Sasha:"Morning everyone,she said cheerfully."
Zico:You're all dressed up today you going somewhere special?
Sasha:Just going back to work after being off for so long.
Zico:Ohh nice.
Sik-k:It's funny because you're the daughter to one of the riches people in the states,yet you're working in a place that pays minimum wage for a living that's very interesting.
Sasha:It's not just about the money it's the principle behind why I'm working at a job like that,my parents money won't last forever and it's good to know the value of hard work and what regular people have to do to earn a living.
DeVita:Facts we totally need more people in the world with this mindset!
Sik-k:"Yeah whatever,he said rolling his eyes."
This guy is such a buzz kill I'm surprised
he even has any friends,before anyone can respond to continue the conversation it was interrupted by one of the maids.
Maid:Excuse me Master Park went out and forgot his lunch will either one of you be able to stop by his office and give it to him?
Sik-k:No can do we all have things to do.
DeVita:But Sasha's on her way to work she'll be able to drop it off.
Sasha:Wait what?
Maid:Oh yes great idea Ms.Sasha,I'm pretty sure Master Park will be grateful that his wife remembered to bring his lunch he forgot so that the poor thing won't go the rest of the day without any food.
Sasha:Uh I thought you guys knew him better than me,there's no way he'll be happy to see me at his job he'd probably want me to leave the minute I step foot in his office.
DeVita:Well you can't be too sure unless you try.
Sik-k:It's not like she has to bring his lunch
he can just buy his own or share food with his mother it's no big deal.
Sasha:That's exactly was I was thinking do I really have to bring his lunch when he can supply himself with food?
Zico:I mean when you think about it yes Jay would prefer to have food from home,because after what happened to his dad he doesn't trust to leave his mom alone in the office.
Sasha:I mean that's what delivery exists for ya know?
Zico:Come on Sasha Jay looks out for everybody here how else do you expect to get on his good side?
It sure doesn't come easy it's something you have to earn.
I guess he had a point not that I cared wether Jay liked me or not,but because I'm curious to see a deeper side to him that is a mystery to me I'm willing to put in the work to make him open up so that I can really explore his mind more.
I need to know the origins behind the complex stone cold man with a heart of gold,what was he like before he became this powerful figure?
Sasha:I guess you're right I'll stop by his office and drop off his lunch before I head to work.
Maid:Wonderful let me pack it in a lunch bag before you take it to him.
Sasha:Ok take your time.
After finishing breakfast,I grabbed my
things and left the house to stop by the Park Enterprise I've heard so much about this place but never been in it.
And never in a million years I'd think the CEO would one day become my father in law it's funny how life works it comes with way too many surprises at the worst time.
We drove around for about ten minutes until we finally made it to the location,I will say this place looked so nice on the outside.
No wonder my parents signed a deal with them,they had to eliminate the competition somehow.
Sasha:"Thank you guys I'll be right back,she said about to step out of the car."
Guard:Wait before you go one of us has to go in with you?
Sasha:Are you kidding me I can go in by my myself do you guys really have to go in with me?
Guard:I'm afraid it's an order from Mr.Park to go with you anywhere you go except for work, or to visit friends or family.
Sasha:Wow no wonder you guys had to
go inside of the skate park with us yesterday,
alright fine let's get this over with I'm already running late for work as it is.
Not wanting to protest any further about Jay's ridiculous rules,I got out of the car with one of the bodyguards and went inside to where I saw a receptionist working at the desk.
I went up to the desk to find out if Jay was in his office or not,and if so that'll be my cue to go up.
Sasha:Hello excuse me I'm here to see Mr.Park?
Receptionist:Which one?
Sasha:Uh Jaebeom Park?
Receptionist:Do you have an appointment?
Sasha:No.
Receptionist:Then why are you here?
Sasha:To bring him his lunch he left at home.
Receptionist:It's always girls like you isn't it?
Sasha:Excuse me Mam I would love to sit here and waste more time answering stupid questions from you.
But Mr.Park needs his lunch and I have a job to get to and if you're wondering who I am then this will tell you everything.
I brought out my hand and showed her my wedding ring,I knew this would come in handy in case they denied me from going up to his office.
She looked at me shocked for a minute but made sure to put her bitchy face back on,because now she had no choice but to let me up.
Receptionist:Ok you may go up to his office even though I don't believe for a second that you're married to him.
Sasha:You don't have to believe it honey, because it's not like it's any of your business anyway now where can I find his office?
Receptionist:"Sixth floor go straight down the hall and make a right I'll let him know you'll be up there to see him you're welcome,she said coldly."
Sasha:"Thank you,she said with a fake smile before heading to the elevator."
Receptionist:"Fucking gold digger,she said bitterly."
That was easy I guess,but they seriously need to consider hiring another receptionist who won't give their company such a bad reputation.
Oh well that's not my concern my only concern was making sure I went to work on time,so I went to the direction of Jay's office I was told to go to.
Once I made it there,I knocked on the door just to get no response in return.
That's strange that receptionist said he'd be up there and would let him know about my arrival but why isn't he here?
Sasha:"Hello Jay are you in there?!She asked curiously while knocking on the door."
Bodyguard:I don't think he's in his office Ms.Sasha he probably stepped out for a minute.
Sasha:Well I have a job to get to so I'll just go in and leave it on his desk then.
I wasn't gonna wait for him to come back so I wasted no time and entered the office to leave his food here,but upon entering in I couldn't help but get lost in the view of this place.
It's such a huge office with amazing interior, I'm guessing it was probably Mrs.Park who decorated this place.
It just had to be her who came up with the idea to make her husband's office so fancy,I snapped back into reality realizing I have to leave his food and go.
So I put the container of food down on the desk and stumbled across this photo,it was a picture of Mr.Park holding a very young Jay as a little boy.
He looked so happy back then I wonder what happened to that happy little boy,and why does he barely smiles now as an adult when it looks like he was given such a good life growing up?
Many thoughts kept filling my mind until they were interrupted by a familiar voice behind me,and of course you can already guess who that voice belongs to.
Jay:What are you doing?
Sasha:"O-Oh uh n-nothing you left your lunch at home and I was just here to drop it off,she answered back nervously."
Jay:"Yeah I know why you're here the guard standing outside just told me but why are you touching things on my desk?He asked walking towards her."
Sasha:Uh no reason just curious that's all.
Jay:"Curious about what?He asked coldly while snatching the picture out of her hand."
Sasha:U-Um-
Before I could explain myself I watched Jay staring at the picture with slight sadness in his eyes,while still keeping the same stone cold face he then lets out a deep sigh before speaking again.
Jay:So I see you were looking at this?
Sasha:Yeah I'm guessing it's you with your dad?
Jay:Yeah.
Sasha:You looked so happy there what happened?
Jay:"Life happened,he said looking up at her with a cold glance."
He spared a glance at me even if it was still cold,but it's a look that says why are you trying so hard to understand me?
A part of him wants to open up but doesn't trust me enough to do so,because after all I'm still technically a stranger to him so he sees it as me getting in his business.
Though it wasn't complete it was still the start I needed to finally see his true colors hopefully I'll be able to find more of it.
Jay:Anyways thank you for bringing my lunch now I gotta get back to work,and from what I heard you also got a job to get to as well so you better not waste anymore time here.
Sasha:Yeah you're right I need to get going see you at home.
Jay:"Yeah,he said without looking at her."
(Jay's P.O.V):I had my back turned until
she turned hers as well,as she was leaving I watched her from the corner of my eye walking out of my sight when she was gone my eyes didn't leave that door.
It's hard to describe what I felt there,it's like she wants to dig deeper into my life and know more of me at an emotional level.
I would let her but my heart says no don't let her in,I barely trust people as it is especially with my heart which is the most vulnerable part of me.
Jay:"Ok enough of that let's get back to work, he said after letting out a deep sigh."
I tried to stop thinking about Sasha and began to focus on work,but before I could do that I was interrupted by my mom entering my office.
Mom:Hey sweetheart is everything alright?
Jay:Uh yeah Mom everything's fine.
Mom:I just saw Sasha leaving did she really bring you lunch?
Jay:She just brought me lunch I forgot at home.
Mom:Aww that's so sweet of her you're so lucky to have her as a wife.
Jay:I guess.
Mom:"Anyway here's the paper work to our stats and our new stock plan,she said handing him the papers."
Jay:"Oh thanks,he said while taking the paperwork."
Mom:Also we have a meeting tomorrow with the executives from Apple,you know to work on new features for our app so we need a presentation prepared for that day.
Jay:Alright I'll get to that right away.
Mom:"Ok I better get going now see you later dear,she said with a smile before leaving his office."
Great I have tons of work to do and I'll have to stay undistracted all day,words really can't describe how much I hate this fucking job but dad would sure thank me for this if he were still here right now.
(Sasha's P.O.V):It was a normal day at work but a little busier than usual due to our new promotion sales,I sure came back on a day where our store needed more help since our store has a low staff situation that never seems to improve.
But I'm willing to get through this day and work as hard as I can.
Quinn:Wow I don't know what the hell they did,but this is the most customers we've had in a really long time!
Thomas:Hey half off sales will always do the trick.
Willow:Yeah I guess we would too if we had to keep looking at shitty conversions for months.
Sasha:And I keep saying that we would get by the day faster if we had more staff or an assistant manager.
Quinn:Well speaking of assistant manager we're suppose to be getting one.
Sasha:What really?
Quinn:Yeah.
Sasha:When do they start?
Thomas:From what I heard today.
Sasha:Oh who is it?
Before they could answer my question we saw Isabella entering the store happily,and my first guess was that she was here to see Christian again but I was about to be surprised by the actual reason why she's here.
Isabella:"Hey,she greeted her boyfriend cheerfully."
Christian:"Hey babe I'm glad you made it,he said happily while embracing her with a hug and kiss."
Isabella:I couldn't miss my first day working here now could I?
Christian:Of course now I'll help you settle in the back before getting start out here ok?
Isabella:"Ok,she smiled in agreement."
Christian:Alright this way.
We watched as Christian and Isabella as they heading to the back of the store,until Quinn stopped them to greet Isabella.
When in actuality she was just helping me get Christian's attention since it's not a secret I like him,and I have yet to tell him about my recent marriage because who wants to tell your crush you're married now?
Quinn:"Well hey Isabella it's great to see you again!She greeted happily with a big grin on her face."
Isabella:"Yeah it's great to see you again too because we're gonna be seeing more of each other from now on,she said with a friendly smile."
Christian:"Good news guys Isabella is gonna be our new assistant manager,he said with a proud smile while sharing the news."
Sasha:"Oh wow congratulations that's great news,she said with a smile."
Isabella:Thanks it's gonna be fun working with you guys.
Thomas:"Ha I bet!He said cheerfully."
Christian:Alright guys Isabella and I have to go in the back and get her started on the job.
Sasha can you go check out the customer at the register please?
Sasha:"Sure,she said before going to the register."
(Willow's P.O.V):Now that Isabella will be working here things will be very interesting,for Sasha of course just having to watch Christian and Isabella together on a daily basis will internally drive her crazy.
Then again it just might actually help her get over him so she'll know that there's other fish in the sea besides Christian.
Because if he was interested in Sasha,he would've never chosen Isabella over her three years ago which says a lot about who his heart really belongs to.
Willow:Isn't this interesting?
Thomas:Yeah just imagine how awkward it'll be for Sasha that her crush's girlfriend is working here as our assistant manager.
Quinn:I mean Sasha should get over Christian anyway he has a girlfriend and she's married.
Willow:Yeah to a man who doesn't love her let alone barely likes her.
Thomas:Yet likes her enough to be over protective of her.
Quinn:Right so mysterious yet so sexy where can I sign up for that?
Willow:Ok that's enough talk for me,I'm just gonna go find a random isle to recover so that I can look like I'm working.
Thomas:Have fun.
(Isabella's P.O.V):Once Christian and I went to the back to get me prepped for the job,I couldn't help but tell him what's on my mind and why I applied for this job in the first place.
Christian:You know I'm really glad you're here babe.
Isabella:Well I'm glad to be here too there's no sense in both of us getting killed that's the reason why I got this job in the first place.
Christian:Babe I told you not to worry about that I'll take care of it.
Isabella:When Christian when?!
Christian:When I get the money but right now I don't even have enough this job only pays me but so much.
Isabella:Well you need to do something Christian,I'm scared about what that guy is gonna do to us you said it yourself he's a fucking psycho he'll kill you if you don't have his money!
I may not be apart of this but it doesn't matter he can and will use the thing you love against you and that thing is me!
Christian:Look babe I know how serious this is but I said I'll take care of it,I just have to find a way to earn the money to pay him back that's all I swear I promise.
Isabella:What happened to the drugs he gave you?
Christian:I already told you what happened to it I was robbed while I was working the corner and they took everything it was ten grands worth of shit.
Isabella:Where are you gonna come up with that kind of money?
Christian:"I don't know I really don't,he said after sighing in frustration."
Isabella:Look let me help you I been saving up from my modeling job just at least let me help you get half of the money you owe and you can come up with the rest.
Christian:I don't wanna take money from you babe what kind of boyfriend would I be?
Isabella:A live boyfriend and not a dead one?
Christian:Right thanks for reminding me.
Isabella:"Just let me give you the money Christian just please let me help you,she begged and pleaded."
Christian:No you keep the money I'll come up with something.
Isabella:Are you sure?
Christian:Yeah I'm sure I never took money from you and I don't wanna start now,I got myself in this mess I'll get myself out of it.
Isabella:Ok well just think of something fast.
I stepped away to give Christian some time to think about his situation,I can't believe he turned down my offer to pay had he accepted the money he would've only had to come up with five thousand.
I never supported his decision to start selling drugs in the first place,I told him it was dangerous and he didn't listen people tell me I should leave him.
But I love him too much to abandon him in a time like this,I'm scared not only for myself but for him too I just hope he comes up with a solution to solve this huge problem or else someone might end up dead.
