*Jess POV*
It's game day today and I can't wait to see all the girls again. Its only been 3 weeks but I've missed them so much. I've invited Jordan over to stay the night tonight so it should be fun. The arsenal girls don't have to go home until tomorrow so we can spend some time together tonight after the game.
I just got into my training kit and packed in my actual kit for today and walk into the front room to see if Ella is ready to go to training. When I walk in she's sat with a guilty look on her face.
Jess- Ells you ready to go were gonna be lat- wait whats wrong
Ella- you're going to hate me
Jess- I could never.. what's up
Ella- I invited leah over to stay for tonight
Jess- oh that's okay, this is your home too Ella I'm never going to stop you inviting people over *sad look on her face*
Ella- so, you're okay with it?
Jess- yeah of course. The more the merrier right? Now come on were going to be late if we don't leave now.
So this will be fun. I don't know how this is going to go down tonight but I guess I should avoid any 1 on 1 time with Leah shouldn't I? I mean I'll try. I don't want it to be awkward for the other girls.
*after training before the game*
We get to training and it goes so smoothly. When we're eating lunch before the game all the arsenal girls turn up and join us. I hear my name being screamed and so I stand up to see who it is but I'm nearly knocked over by someone jumping on me as I turn around.
Jordan- SCOTTIEE
Jess- OH MY GOD JORDS! I didn't know you were already here! You didn't tell me!
Jordan- wanted it to be a surprise
Jess- well call me surprised. I'm so happy you're here
Beth- hate to interrupt the reuniting but can we sit down now
Jess- yeah *laughs* sorry girls, come sit down
Jordan, Beth and Viv all sit with us. I see Leah sitting on her own on a table and decide to call her over to us. She's friends with all the other girls so she shouldn't sit on her own.
Jess- WILLIAMSON
Leah- *looks up at Jess*
Jess- come over here
Leah- *walks over and sits down*
Ella- Leahhhh
Leah- hey Tooney, hey girls
Beth- why didn't you come over with us
Leah- I didn't want to intrude
Jess- nonsense, you should have joined us *sympathetic smile*
Leah- well I'm here now *returns the gesture*
Jordan- thank the lord
Everyone laughs at the comments from both Leah and Jordan. We're all called away from each other when it's time to get ready. I hug the girls and go to get ready.
*hugging Leah*
Jess- *whispers* good luck
Leah- *also whispers* you two
We exchange smiles and walk away from eachother and wishing others luck. Even though we're on rival teams all the England girls are still so close and will wish each other luck before facing each other on the pitch.
*hugging Jordan*
Jess- good luck Jords. You're gonna need it
Jordan- yeah do your worst babe *winks*
I laugh at Jordans gesture and walk over to the other girls to line up.
On the pitch I think it's obvious that there's tension between me and leah. I don't dare go near her because.. well we need to clear the air before anything else happens. So I keep my distance until that happens. We're both a bit off our game so I don't even realise when I just assisted on a goal from Tooney because I was so focused on Leah.
The ball landed at my feet and i made a cross to Ella who then threw the ball into the bottom right and to the back of the net.
She runs at me and jumps on top of me. As she does.
The match ended and that was the only goal to happen throughout the whole game meaning we won 1-0. Can't wait to tease Jordan with that later.
We go into the changing room and get changed to go home after celebrating. I wait in the car for Ella, Jordan and Leah. As per, Ella is the last to turn up.
Jess- finally. Thought we were going to have to send out a search party for you
Ella- oh haha. Mil caught me whilst I was posting on instagram so we stood talking for 10 minutes
Jordan- of course you did
Leah- you both talk for England. Ella Toone and Millie Turner.. the neverending conversation
Ella- yes alright can we go home now
We drive home and I show Jordan and Leah to their room.
Jess- we only have one spare room so I hope it's okay that you're sharing.. that's not going to be awkward is it..?
Jordan- no, we've resolved things between us. We're friends now
Leah- yeah and I completely accept your relationship so if you want you can stay in the same room.
I start laughing which gains me a confused look from leah. Time to explain myself..
Jess- sorry, it's just me and Jordan aren't together..
Leah- oh, did you break up..?
Jess- no. We're just friends.
Leah- oh okay then
Jordan- shall we go see what Ella's doing?
Jess- she's gone to the shop to get some snacks for tonight.. board games anyone?
Leah- yesss
Jess- oh leah, can I borrow you for a second
Leah- yeah of course what's up?
*Jordan leaves*
Jess- this is yours *hands Leahs hoodie back*
Leah- oh thanks. I thought I lost it to be honest
Jess- Ella must have packed it accidentally
Leah- not to worry
*Leah POV*
To hear that Jess and Jordan aren't together shocked me a bit. I thought after what happened last month and the reason we broke up was because they were getting together.
We play board games for a long time and watch films afterwards. When it's time for bed I go into the room were staying in and Jordan is lay on the bed on her phone.
Leah- hey um I can sleep on the floor if you want
Jordan- leah come on, we can sleep in the bed
Leah- are you sure
Jordan- of course
Leah- I'm sorry about earlier by the way *sits down on the bed*
Jordan- what do you mean?
Leah- I never should have assumed you two were together. It's just I thought the reason we broke up was because you were together
Jordan- oh no leah. That's not the reason at all. She still loves you leah
Leah- so why break up with me then
Jordan- I think you should ask her
Leah- you know she won't tell me. Please Jordan. Tell me why I lost my girlfriend
Jordan- she didn't want to do the distance. She thought that because you have such busy lives with football and training that it would be better if you just broke up rather than drifting apart.
Leah- so that thing with you and her?
Jordan- fake. It wasnt real. She wanted to do something that would make you angry enough to break up with her. I hated doing it just as much as she did.
Leah- thanks Jordan, for telling me. I think we should get some sleep, we have to travel back tomorrow

It makes so much sense now. I didn't see Jess before I left because she was still in bed so went into her room and put my hoodie on her chair with a note saying *keep it, it looks better on you :) -Leah x*
We said our goodbyes to Ella and went to meet the other Arsenal girls to travel back home. I wasn't too worried about not seeing Jess before we left because were back at the England camp on Friday next week anyways so I'll see her then.
