Tango is a Phoenix and has these days of the month that he calls the burn. Where he needs to change into his other form.
He doesn't know what happens in this form. All he knows is that he always wakes up in a cloud of ash and smoke once it's done. Only Zedaph knows. So when Impulse can't find him, he uses the communicator to find him.
And what he finds is extremely shocking.
